to visit with us right now about this, Megan Larson. Megan, how long have you been involved in this event?
Hey? John, you know this is our thirteenth year as a whole, but I've been involved with the JY six Foundation for pretty much six years now, so officially.
Very nice And for folks that are not familiar with JY six Foundation, let's explain what that is because it's something that's near and dear to many many people.
Yeah. So Jorgan was diagnosed with ALL when he was sixteen, so that's acute lymphoblastic leukemia. He had his first round of treatment. Treatment went great. He was super positive about like the outcomes. Everything was good. His skins were good for close to a year, and then they kind of came that his cancer kind of came back with a vengeance.
Did a second round of chemo and a round of like an experimental round of treatment too out at Mayo, and unfortunately the prognosis was kind of, hey, this second round isn't gonna work. So truthfully, it is so neat. But in his last moments he had asked specifically his family to put together his foundation to give back to specifically nurses who treated his cancer, and then obviously to
fund cancer research. So in the springtime we do a more formal event, but this one ends up kind of being our fun event to kind of take the pressure off and just have a really nice thought about it.
The thing that's really nice the funds that are raised at this event and the other things the JY six Foundation does throughout the year. It goes to wonderful things, not only research, but also to give back to the nurses who again they work their tails off and Jorgan
saw that when he was a patient. He saw that and it meant something to him and it mattered to him, and I think it's just a wonderful, lasting legacy that the JY six Foundation, now all these years later, is doing so many wonderful things, and this golf tournament, if people would like to sign up to golf. Is there still room to be a golfer in this Yeah, absolutely, we.

We've even got some sponsorships still open, so you can either be like a whole sponsor or you know, just an individual golfer. We kind of give you a little range nice, you know.
