Next Wednesday, So a week from tomorrow, the Gunner Foundation is doing a thing at the Social Event Center from six pm till nine pm. It's kind of their kickoff. Tom Gunlicks is who's starting this. He and some other folks have been doing a lot of fun nonprofit events the last few years and they finally decided, you know what, let's just do this. Let's make this a
foundation. Let's set up an actual nonprofit. So that is the day of the official kickoff of the new nonprofit. Tom Gunlig starting this again next Wednesday, six pm to nine pm. They're gonna have music from the eighties and nineties from our friend Brian mc kelly. Brian Reese is his real name. He'd be there spinning the tunes, having some fun and if you want to make a donation. Next Wednesday, you'll also be entered for a drawing that's

Also want to remind you we mentioned this yesterday, but I forgot to mention the young man that's going to be there. South Dakota State Chess Tournament is having an event Elliot Nef. He's a national master and CEO for Chess for Life. He'll be hosting the South Dakota Schoolastic Chess Championship April sixth. Kids k through twelve from across the
state will be in Sioux Falls for Big Chess Tournament. If you want to get tickets, you got to get him sooner rather than later, because tickets are available now, but they're not available much longer. You can get all the details at Chess for Life Chess and then the Number four Life and that is coming up on April sixth. They're doing a thing the night before as well, on the April fifth, and that's kind of open to more folks as well. And I think that's about Oh, you know what I wanted
to remind you of this. There's a comedy event tonight at Icon Lounge they do every Tuesday. It's gonna be a little later tonight than normal because there's another event happening early, so they've pushed it back. If you get there like eight o'clock tonight, it's a free event. It's what they call an open mics. If you've ever wanted to, like try doing stand up comedy,
tonight could be your night again. It's at the Icon Lounge in Sue Falls and it's free and you can come just watch and have some fun, or you can come and get up and tell some jokes. I think you have like five minutes if you'd like to tell a joker too, and also something. I'm going to get all the details so I can make sure I talk more about this. But Friday, April the twelfth, there is an event at the district and it's called Sioux Falls Last Comic Standing. I was
one of the competitors last year. They asked if I would be the MC this year, so I'll be an MC this year and there are eight competitors competing for one thousand dollars and it's going to be on Friday, April twelfth at the District in Sioux Falls. It's a thing that's being put on by the Junior League. I'll get more details so I can tell you more about that coming up as well.
