Big City comedians coming to Suit Falls, so you know it's going to be funny, absolutely and hosted by Alisha rain Yep. I'm hosting, so it's going
to be a fun time for sure. You do a really good job, whether you're hosting or whatever you're doing featuring, whatever, you do a phenomenal job. So I'm excited for the program. It's a little side room downstairs. And we also have an open mic every Monday and that starts at atm sign ups at seven point thirty. And also I'm just gonna plug Luckies. That's a little event room so you can you know, rent that room out yourself if you want for like the holiday season
or whatever. So it just kind of plugging luckies as well. Absolutely, And I know, like I think last year, didn't you do some like private comedy shows people having like corporate events and stuff down there as well? Yes, I did two full comedy showcases for two private corporate events, and I can definitely set those up for anybody who's interested in having like a full show for their corporate event, having something a little different. Absolutely. Yeah.

It was on this day, November twenty third, nineteen forty nine. Jerry Vender was born in Sue Falls. He would go on to have an uber's successful career as a daytime TV actor. He won Daytime the Awards in nineteen ninety five and in nineteen ninety six for Best Supporting Actor as Ross
on the daily soap opera Guiding Light. He would become Guiding Light's longest running cast member, serving from March nineteenth, nineteen seventy nine until October eleventh, two thousand and five. That's over twenty six years in the same role. Just two weeks after walking away from Guiding Light, Jerry took over the role of Clint on another popular soap opera, One Life to Live. He continued in this role for over seven years until the show was canceled by ABC.
Jerry did a short stat as part of a revival of One Life to Live on the online network in twenty thirteen. Sadly, we lost Jerry recently at age seventy two.
