Yes, the first Sunday of every month, so just mark your calendar so pops up on your phone. That the first Sunday of every month at the Alliance from eight thirty until noon. And
this is the soup balls American Legions Post fifteen pancake Breakfast. So even when it lands on a holiday weekend, we still have it. It's always the first Sunday of every month, Bret. And let's talk about what people get, because when they come there, they make a nice donation to the American Legion, but the money goes to some good things. We'll talk about that in a minute. But what do they get for their money? What kind of food do you have on this pancake breakfast? I'm guessing pancakes, but
more too, right, Oh my gosh. And people tell us they're the best pancakes in town. They're very very good. I agree with that. So thank you, eggs, sausage, juice, and coffee. And what is the investment to get my belly filled with all that yummy food? Yeah, that's pretty simple too. It's eight dollars for adults, and that's for eleven and older. Ten and under is two dollars. And the nice thing is, if you'd like to, you can make a donation of more than
that. So if you just hand them like a twenty and say keep the change, that's good too, right, Oh, you certainly can. There's a donation jar. We do take credit cards, so we tried to make it very simple for people, and people and soup balls in the surrounding area are very generous to veterans. Absolutely, and one of my favorite things. We've got a friend that every time I post this on Facebook and say hey, that's coming up this Sunday, he'll reach out to me and say,
we're doing pancakes Sunday. And more often than not, the answer is yes, because they are very good pancakes. And it's a great organization, and you guys make it so simple and so easy. It's like you've done this before, oh just for a few years. And what time does everything get started this Sunday? And what time do things wrap up? We serve from eight thirty to now eight thirty until noon. It's this Sunday and the first Sunday of every month holiday or not. So get out and join us again
the first Sunday of every month. It's at the South Dakota Military Heritage Alliance Building. And again there's parking right there, tons of parking, bring friends, come have fun, and there's typically a bake sale connected to this as well. Right, Oh gosh, John, I almost forgot about that. Yeah. Auxillary has a bake sale with every pancake breakfast, and we have some of the most amazing bakers. There are things that people put their name
down and preserve them for the following month. Oh yeah, come and pick up your sweet treat. Absolutely, this is so good and it's some of the best stuff. When you go in there, keep in mind these the people that are baking these treats. They're not learning how to do this stuff. They're not watching some video online to do it. They've been doing this for a while. They've got it down. It's perfected. And again I can understand why some people would say, put me down for these cookies every
month. They'll take them every month. Yeah, you know, we have pies and we have agencies cakes from scratch. It's amazing. It is very very good. If somebody would like to come out. I am fantastic And you guys have got some fun stuff that we're going to be talking about, all the entertainment stuff with Walker, but you get to do something really cool this weekend. Fall into what is it, fall into winning? We're calling it fall into fortune. Keep all that alliteration stuff going in. Yep, fall fall into fortune. And
this is really a neat thing. You described it to me a little bit ahead of time. But let's explain to everybody what is fall into fortune and when is it happening? This Sunday from one to five, we're calling six winners each hour get called up to our special fall in the Fortune board. For getting called up, you will receive two hundred dollars in free softway. That's all great. People love free play. But if you want to risk
it, we have a special board with sixty six envelopes on there. a bunch of movies. And if you're not a fan of their music yet, you will be after next Saturday. It's going to be a great event and tickets are still available for that. And then as we fast forward, not next week, but the following week. We've got on the twenty fifth, another great event, Saturday, November twenty fifth. Let's talk a little bit about what's happening on the twenty fifth. Yes, we have Tommy DeCarlo,
who is currently the lead singer of Boston. He will be out here performing with him and his son on stage with their band that he created, and it's just going to be a fun time. And I don't exactly know what songs will be seeing, but it's going to be a great night of rock and me. Anyway, it's going to be a really cool thing. And Tommy DeCarlo, that is an amazing story. This is a guy who was a big fan of the band Boston, and then he got to become
the lead singer of Boston. He's the current lead singer of Boston, and now he'll be in this area at Grand Falls Casino and golf Resort with his son and their own band. And again, I think it has to be a lot of fun. It's a couple of days after Thanksgiving. It's the twenty fifth of November. Happens to be my birthday, Walker I'm going to be having my birthday party at Grand falls that night he'll be celebrating with Tommy
Cacrlo himself. I absolutely will be. And then I think we got to talk about this as well, because you had me mentioned this on stage at the Larry the Cable Guy Show, and I wanted I was like, is he kidding or is this for real? We've got let's talk about the Clairvoyance. This is a really cool show. And I found out there's a bunch of people that are big fans of these guys. Yes, the Clairvoyants.
They were on America's Got Talent. They have a mind reading dog that's able to just literally read minds, and we are excited to see how all they're going to perform and how well that dog is going to do when they come on Friday, December sixteenth. And now you guys understand why I thought he might have been kidding with me. I'm like a mind reading dog, what I mean, I've never seen a show like that, so I'm really excited to see that. And what date is that again? The fifteenth of December,
correct, Friday December fifteen. Show will be at eight concert doors open at seven. Well, I'm going to make sure to mark my calendar right now for that one, because I want to see I've never seen a mind reading dog. I have a dog that doesn't do much of anything, no talent at all, so I need to train up. Apparently every dog is
wonderful. I'm not going to say that anything about that. It was on this day, November third, twenty sixteen Sue Falls residents Stacy Burkhardt and locally owned tanning salon Sun Tan City earned their place in the Guinness Book of World Records by applying ninety two spray tans in sixty minutes. Stacy is quoted by Guinness World Records dot com as saying, a lot of people are scared of spray tans because of the Friends episode with Ross, and we wanted to be able to
show everyone that sprays are a great way to get a beautiful color. What better way to get people aware of spray tans than to set a world record. Ninety two women were lined up and ready to go as Stacey administered the spray, being sure to cover the participant's full body as required by the Guinness World Record Rules. What a fun way to break a world record and bring notoriety to Sue Falls and a safe and healthy alternative to tanning in natural sunlight
