We mentioned this the other day, but I want to mention it again because the I don't know where we're at for bidding today, but the bidding yesterday kind of stalled out, so maybe we're done. we'll wrap up for sure ten am this Saturday. It's an autograph guitar. It's an online auction right now. I want to explain the history of this guitar. Dan Farris, who worked with us here at Sunny Radio up until he passed away a month ago. He actually started the traveling of this guitar in the nineteen nineties. He would take this guitar with him. It's an acoustic Fender guitar. He would take it with him to concerts and he would
have the concert stars. The artists signed the guitar, and it's signed by a bunch of amazing people. Now, if you know somebody who is a country music fan, they're gonna love this guitar because the majority of these autographs
are country music superstars. There's names like Garth Brooks and Alan Jackson and Reba McIntyre, Travis Tritt, Tanya Tucker, Patty Loveless, who else, Kenny Rogers, Kicks Brooks from Brooks and Dunn, also Ronnie Dunn from the same band, Aaron Tippin, Charlie Daniels, Kathy Mattea, Teddy Gentry, Jeff Cook and Randy Owen from Alabama, Marty Stewart, Jessica Andrews, Billy Dean, Clint Black, John Anderson, and many, many, many, many
more. Again, this is an absence amazing guitar that is up for auction right now. And here's the thing that's neat. The money that comes in from this will go to a local charity called Big Pause Canine Foundation. And these guys are an awesome organization and they help veterans and first responders. They help train a service animal for them at no charge to the veteran or first responder. Now how do they do that? Well, they do that by
having donations throughout the year. And this is an organization that meant a lot to Dan and it was an organization that he thought would be a great place for the proceeds to go from this particular guitar. And again he's had this guitar for about thirty years. And while he was literally on his deathbed, he asked me if I could help line this up and make this happen,
and I said, I will do it. I will absolutely do this, And we launched it last Saturday during his Celebration of Life event and it wraps up this Saturday, October the twenty first, at ten am. Falls Arena. Unfortunately, Elvis had already began to decline, and he would go on to do one more concert in town less than a year later, June of nineteen seventy seven.
