I've got three awesome comedians coming in from out of town to perform. It's going to be great. I have Yuka Lady, she plays the Yuka Lady. She's out of Sue City. It's very too with her. Yeah,
she's a very funny, very funny lady. Yeah. Yeah, she's she's awesome and her songs are amazing and yeah, so she's going to be opening the show. And then Lee Brun's out of Watertown. Um, yeah, so funny. He was at snow Jam this last year back in January, and um, you know, he just knocked it out of the park, so it was awesome. And then Timothy Andre out of De Moines, Iowa.
He's going to be our headliner. And I actually worked with him at a corporate event and I just thought he was hilarious and he um, you know, he kind of has like a musical side to him. So so this show is going to be just a lot of fun. I'm excited. I've not seen him yet, so I'm excited to see him and always excited to see you. You do a great job. And again it's coming up Thursday. It is the summer heatwave rolling through and this weekend's gonna be really hot because we've got the air show in town and a lot of folks will be out the airport on that hot pavement and walking around the hard, hot pavement looking up in the air. You can probably ask some folks need some chiropractic help. Yeah,
I thought that's why we should talk about. The air show always pulls a big crowd. I know we're planning on going out and we're going out on Sunday, so but yeah, it's a hot one, especially during the week This weekend is going to be hot. So one, make sure you are staying well hydrated. And when you're staying hydrated, not with like alcoholic beverages, but with actual water right right, right, not coffee, tea, juice, alcohol, there's that. Make sure you're drinking water because the other
ones don't help nearly as much. That a lot of those actually dehydrate you more. And if you're outside doing a lot of work, you know, try to do it in the morning or in the evening when it's not the heat of the day. But if are you pointing at me, I mean just in general. You know, typically we like to do all our work
outside in the afternoons for whatever reason. But if you're one of those people that you have to be working outside during the heat of the day, make sure you're drinking some like electrolyte drinks, you know, gatorade, all right, getting some like liquid ivy packets, stuff like that. Make sure you're staying well hydrated. And sweat is a good thing. You want to be
sweating. If you're out in the heat in the day and you stop sweating, it's time you take emergency action because you need to get out of the heat. I don't stop sweating even when I'm not out of it. Is that a problem? I mean, proper hydration really does lead to better sweating. So I mean, if you're staying well hydrated, you are going to sweat more. I do stay hydrated, So that's my problem. I thought it was because I was so overweight. It's just because I'm drinking too much
of water. A good problem, right, But yeah, So those people that are gonna be out at the air show, obviously a lot of the stuff we happen up in the sky, right, so we're staring up, yeah whole time. And I was looking at the roster for it, like it's like five hours. It's going to be an awesome program this weekend. So make sure that you are taking breaks, you know, get up, stretch, look down for a little bit, something like that, because otherwise
you're gonna be staring up on your neck is gonna be hurting. Or you could even get some of those rocker chairs. Like so we actually saw those at an air show. Are the first time we saw them. And it's like, oh, those are because you can rock back and you're not having to like you stare up quite so, so you're leaning back like you're in a dentist chair. Well have you seen those power rocker chairs. They've got like hydraulic they're not like their spring hydraulics, but like they rock and you
can lay farther back in then Oh, there's really comfy. That's awesome. Lot. I would recommend something like that to help take some of the burden off your neck, but also make sure you're stretching, you know, work in your big trap muscle that connects through your shoulders in your head, so you're trying to touch your head, your shoulders looking down, rolling around all like with your head, that kind of stuff to help stretch those muscles.
Is it best to stretch like that before you go to the air show or is this something to do after or during? I would say definitely doing it during and for sure after. Okay, So you don't have to like start on like Thursday or anything. No, not necessarily. Just want to make sure we're prepared for this. So the air show, there's some stuff Thursday, but for the most part it is it's like the Discovery Day, so it's different than the air show. But the air show itself is Saturday and

On this day, July twenty sixth, nineteen twenty six, two women are caught bootlegging in one of the largest busts made in Sioux Falls during Prohibition. The bus took place in the home of miss Iva Skorgans eleven o five North Dakota Avenue, just a few blocks east of
Minnesota and Russell. Missus Skorgans and a young lady who was renting a room by the name of Aza Wilson, had distilled over fourteen gallons of moonshine. Police also seized two barrels of mash, several pounds of sugar, and various supplies from the complete homemade still in the residence. I had an opportunity to fly on a piece of history. Over seventy five years ago, June sixth, nineteen forty four, an airplane that's been titled That's All Brother led the main airborne invasion of Normandy. And this plane is absolutely amazing. It's in Sioux
Falls right now. And this airplane also had a chance to fly over the skies of Normandy for the seventy fifth anniversary of D Day. Now it was almost lost forever. And this is one of the most historic airplanes you'll find in the sky. And I'm gonna let you listen to what we learned right before we had a chance to board the plane yesterday. They have a more historical airplane, or as historical as Danny Oligate is a Memphis Bell and another
aircraft, but they're all in museums. This airplane is a flying historical asset in this country. This aircraft was the lead aircraft on a Normandy invasion on D Day on June six, nineteen forty four. She led eight hundred and twenty one of the C forty seven and the King Calvin Paratrooper and nomly friends in two waves. Was last for years after it was served plus in nineteen forty six, when you know, somewhere on twelve fourteen owners ended up at
Oshkosh, Wisconsin and Libonia. Two historians and the Alabama and National Guide. We're doing research on their former commander, General Donaldson, who in World War Two was a lieutenant colonel. He flew the lead airplane on d Day, lead any through that airplane. So then they started the search for the airplane that took him, you know, through all those owners and ended up in Oshkosh, Wisconsin in a place called Basil Turbo conversions. Long story short.
The Commember of Air Force got onet of it, was told about it. So we've got to save this airplane, and they set about to raise the dollars necessary to restore this aircraft back to its original configuration. When you go and get in and you'll know, yeah, you're in an aircraft that was built for one purpose, and that was a dog paratroopers and just fade no more time effort. After it led the Nomine invasion, it took pot in
operations for a room, which was the invasion in southern France. Then it took pot and Market Garden, which was Montgomery's, of which two five of you ever seen that movie, and it took pot and Operation Impulse, which was the relief of Bastone during the Battle of the Bulge, and then Operation in Bossy, which was the largest air drop ever across the Rhine into Germany proper. That's not counting the number of meta back and resupply missions and other
missions that it might have flown yet. To have her here today, if you think about it, is really really a significant feat, right, absolutely amazing. And then we had the opportunity to climb on board a piece of history and go for a little in the sky yesterday. It was amazing. It was very warm inside that airplane because it was so warm outside.
