It looks like you have all your fingers and toes, so the fourth of July must have been good for you. Yeah, it was great. I mean shooting me off, but where we were camping, people were shooting them up, so we didn't have to like go spend the money on it. So yeah, now, fortunately I have all my fingers into that's that's very good.
Well, we're exciting to have you back and we're going to talk about essential oils today. And I'm a little bit familiar, but not super familiar, So tell me a little bit about this. Yeah, so essential oils have really been a growing field that you know, a lot of the oils are from natural not some. They all are from like natural sources. So you know in the Native Americans or people in the ancient times, you know they were using these flowers and herbs and plants for various things. Well,
now we have that in an oil. It's all like that same thing, but it's condensed down into an oil. Nice. So it's kind of a it's not necessarily newer, but it's definitely become more and more popular, especially people looking for more natural, clean ways of doing some of the same things or the same meds that they're already taking. And the thing is, see a lot of the time that happens, everything that is old is new again. So this is something that our grandparents they just knew this, and be
great grandparents just knew this. Now all of a sudden we're like, oh, you know, if you do this, this is good for that and they're like, yeah, we knew that when we were alive, right, So we're actually going to be hosting a class here at our office on Wednesday, So tonight the twelfth, at six thirty, Clean Living is going to be presenting on how to use essential oils in your home for like making your own like laundry soap or air freshener or hand soap like that kind of stuf.
So making your own cleaning supplies out of essential oils. So nice. If this is something you know, somebody's listening, they're interesting, like I would love to learn more about essential oils. We're going to be doing one class a month on some of the basics for beginners for essential oils. And there's not a ton of room in your office, so if somebody wants to come, do they need to register in advance or they just knno squish in

Stephanie Herseth Sandlin burst onto the national political scene. As South Dakota is only member of the House of Representatives, she would also hold the distinction of being the first woman elected to represent South Dakota in the House of Representatives, an
extreme oddity in South Dakota history. Herseth Sandlin filled out a South Dakota Congressional party made up entirely of Democrats for the first time since nineteen thirty seven, joining Senators Tom Dashell and Tim Johnson in Washington, d c. We know her now as the president of Augustana University, but in two thousand and four
she was a growing force in South Dakota politics. She almost toppled popular four term Governor Bill Janklo in a race for South Dakota's seat in the House of Representatives, surprising many with her tenacity and how relatable she was to the broad spectrum of South Dakota voters. She would win that same seat June first in a special election after Janklo resigned his position, and she was sworn in on
June twelfth, two thousand and four. Her Seth Sandler would have to win the seat again just five months later in the regularly scheduled election in November. She would go on to win that election, as well as elections in two thousand and six and two thousand and eight, before being defeated in a close election in twenty ten to Christy Omark, current governor. Eventually, life would lead her back to South Dakota when she moved to Sioux Falls to take a
job as illegal counsel for Raven Industries. Her dedication to education and the betterment of South Dakota and Sue Falls led to her appointment as the president of Augustana University.
