There's a thing called the Human Race, which starts on the third of June. That is when the actual event is, but between now and then, we're going to be talking to different groups that are involved in the Human Race. It's actually put on by a Health Connective South Dakota. But I'm looking at my calendar here. Tomorrow we're going to be visiting with somebody from the Toy Lending Library, and I've got another interview schedule for next week with

a group from Collision, and there's several others. Now, if you happen to be part of that organization, one of those groups that are going to be there, if we don't already have an interview schedule. Reach out, let's get that schedule. I want to talk to everybody. But there's some really really cool organizations that are a part of that. And again, the event is June third. It sounds like a long ways away. That's less than a month away. It is officially one month from today, but it's

Hey, John, I am doing fantastic. You know, the weather is getting nicer, Spring feels like it's finally here. Yeah, we're officially halfway through spring. Mayday I just discovered was the halfway points. So Monday was the halfway point. We're halfway to

summer already. It seems like springs hardly started. I know, but it's it is getting nice out and this is a good time to spend time outside. But when you're outside you're enjoying the outdoors, there are some things that can kind of come up that maybe cause a little issues with health, aren't there. Yeah, So one thing I want to talk about, you know, as the weather is getting nice, or we're starting to think spring cleaning projects, get the outside all nice, gardening, all those things, so

people are going to start getting out more. And if we spend all this long winter inside, and we really haven't been doing a whole lot, you know, because the weather has been kind of crappy so far this spring, so I just haven't been as active. Yeah, take it easy, you know, all that hunting over and doing stuff, you're gonna go, oh my back, right. You know, we might be a little late with the gardening planting stuff, but you know it'll be fine. You'll get there.

Don't try to rush it and get all done in one weekend and you're hurting yourself the next couple of days. You know. The biggest thing is like it's still exercise, so make sure you're stretching, getting ready for that, drinking lots of water, you know, a good meal before and after, taking care of yourself so that way your garden doesn't end up becoming a chore. It can still be that hobby, the fun thing that you like

doing. And I suppose some people deal with allergies, which we've talked about a lot, but that's another thing that if you're outside a lot more, if that is something that you deal with, it that's going to be flaring up a little bit more as well. Yeah, I've been seeing a lot that in this wind lately has been really kicking up the dust. Oh yeah,

yeah, So make sure that you're taking precauptions. You know, allergies are going to cause a lot more inflammation in your body, so it's gonna be a lot easier to potentially hurt yourself, especially if you're overdoing it. That's why I say, really make sure you're taking the time to plan out what you're gonna do, taking breaks, drinking water, stretching, and if you do end up hurting yourself, make sure you're doing something about it.

Don't just wait. Yeah. So I've been seeing a lot of people in our office for a lot of flare ups, you know, twists turns that they were doing or they woke up you know, didn't realize what they did yesterday how it's feeling. So if you're one of those people that you know you were working hard over the weekend and you wake up Monday morning and you're

like, oh man, I'm really sore. I should do something. Don't wait till Friday, you know, start looking at earlier in the week or sooner rather than later, because the things you have going on now, you know, the underlying issues are still going to be there even if the pain slowly goes away because all it's gonna take is doing the exact same thing again

for it to come back. So, you know, seeing a chiropractor, we can help make sure we're getting to like the underlying cause why this stuff is happening, to help you have a better, happier spring and gardening season.

It makes a big difference as well. And now I can never remember, but I know you've got a way for us to remember when we're supposed to use ice and we're supposed to use heat, because that's something if somebody does kind of pull a muscle or hurt themselves when they're you know, raking their yard or getting things ready, how do they know which one to do if it's ice or if it's heat. If you're feeling like a key height Lena, that's going to feel more muscular, that's meal and more type muscles,

So using heat for that. If it's kind of sharp, stabby throbby kind of pain and more likely joint it's inflamed, using ice to help calm that down. Nice. Fund Page and Sunny ninety three point three. On this day, May third, nineteen twenty five, the cornerstone of first Lutheran Church was laid near the corner of Minnesota at Eleventh Street. Sioux Falls has had a large Lutheran community basically since the beginning. in the policy statement. The FOMC may back off from further interest rate hikes given the state of inflation and the risk to the banking sector, but it will not roll over and go to sleep. The Jolts Report shows the number of open job positions has fallen to

the lowest level in two years as employers cut back on expansion plans. This is the first real sign of economics slowing.
