So it was just very random in all of a sudden, And so I have listed a home very near an elementary school in Szoux Falls. Library is even closer and one of the new libraries. This is a four bedroom, two bath with a finished and heated triple stock garage with a polyurea floor, so if you're into garage's polyurea is a very
hard substance, very protective. This says a fifteen year transferable warranty. Nice. The home itself is a very pleasing home. Main bath is a big shower that you can step in. There is a privacy fence, backyard, raised garden beds, and vinyl plank flooring throughout the main level and just a very nice home. And it's been whelming well maintained. Pride of ownership is here. That's awesome. And what kind of a price range is it going to be? And do we know yet? Yes, this will be three
hundred and sixty thousand, will be available in a week. Very cool. So if somebody would like to maybe get a chance to see that right away, it's not even listed yet, Like I said, you just you just listed at the tail end last week or you just got the listing and it's in process now. Well, you know, now we're making it public, okay, so we kind of have to let all the sellers are in the process of just you know, downsizing them things that are in there, and then to do a thorough cleaning. about it a little bit. I was like, we should talk about that today because we've never done that before, and maybe we'll never do that again. After today. We'll see, Yeah, this goes well. You know, it's all fine. Once you make it public, you have to allow everybody, okay, So you know, it's it's just a little bit early for them as far as the cleaning process. And they are very nice people and they do like things neat and orderly. That's good. That's really good.

It's time now for this day in suit Falls history, brought to you by Thomas James and Bechtold Jewelry, the oldest jewelry store in South Dakota, using time tested techniques to restore and repair jewelry and using the latest technology to create custom pieces. Thomas James and Bechtold Jewelry, three twenty five South Phillips Avenue, Downtown Sous Falls. It was on this day, February fifth, nineteen oh eight. It marks the complete
nation of the first iteration of Washington High School in Sioux Falls. Students would begin classes in a new building nine days later on February fourteenth. Previously, a Sioux Falls High School made its home in the Central School Building, which is actually right next door to where Washington High School was built. Other students who would not fit in the school would learn in smaller schoolhouses, generally on
the outskirts of town. City leaders, seeing the need to encourage education all throughout the high school years, invested in a brand new building designed to serve five hundred students. Three hundred and twenty eight kiddos showed up on the fourteenth to break in the new building for learning. Within three short years, the new building was already busting at the seams as more and more children continued their
education into their late teen age years. It wouldn't be until nineteen twenty two before an addition was added on, this time to make space for over fifteen hundred students, but even that wasn't enough. A remodel of the original building in nineteen thirty two and another addition in nineteen thirty five, which required the old central building to finally be torn down, left Washington High School looking similar
to how it looked today. Washington High School would be the only high school in town until nineteen sixty five, when an enrollment of over thirty three hundred students forced administrators to develop a unique split schedule for classes as the building couldn't fit all of the students at the same time. On October nineteenth, nineteen sixty five, Lincoln High School was completed on the south end of town,
and about thirteen hundred students transitioned over to the new building. By the end of the spring semester nineteen ninety two, it was clear that the old Washington High School could no longer effectively serve as a school building. A new Washington High School was built just three point five miles east of the old building. The new building shared an almost identical floor plan with another brand new school,
Roosevelt High School, that had just been completed in nineteen ninety one. The old Washington High School building would sit mostly empty for about seven years, and then it was reimagined as the Washington Pavilion that we know today. It's become a cultural center for music, performance and discovery in the area. Now well over one hundred years old, the old Soldier still stands, carrying on the mission of supporting the Sioux Falls community, educating young minds, and bringing hope
