Yeah, no, I'm really excited to come back. I did the test a little two years ago and I'm
really pumped to do it again. And for people who maybe have not had a chance to go the Snowjam Comedy Festival, how would you describe this festival to them? So it's people from all over the country, just coming in and bringing humor to a cold, snowy place when it really needs it in this time of year. I love it. That's what it should say right there on the website. You did a great job and it is so much fun. A lot of people from this community get out to support this,

So I grew up in Central Pennsylvania, but I've spent my adult life in Pittsburgh and I've been doing comedy for about about thirteen years. And I remember while
you were in Sioux Falls last time. You're a very very funny young man. And the thing that's fun is every comic that's on this program the Snowjam Comedy Festival all very funny because you submit videos and you compete and there's hundreds of people and it gets down to like thirty. So just to make that cut more than once. Congrats on that. I think that's really cool. Yeah, I was. I was so excited when I got when I got
asked to be in again. I had a lightful time last time. And it's always fun when you get a chance to travel to do comedy because you know, any anytime, it's a chance to be in front of a different crowd, different audience and see like, Okay, I know how these things work here in Pittsburgh, but how do they work other places? Is it as universal as I want it to be? Yeah, Well, we're excited
to have you back. And are there some like new fun things that we're going to be seeing you do or is similar to what you did before? What all has changed for you in the last couple of years? Yeah? Yeah, So last couple of years, I've written a lot of new material, I've worked I'm going to be doing. I don't think I'm to do anything last from last time what I had without two years ago, I had just started a new job, and I like to talk about stuff I'd do
in my daily life. So I have a lot of good stories about my job at a ball at I'm bar Inslane them all, which is just a very surreal place to work, I'll bet and yeah no, I'm really excited to be out and I made some great friends last time, both you know, super ball comics and people that are in from out of town as well. I'm excited to meet more folks again and meet people laugh. Well, we are excited to see you here in sou Falls again. It's this week

We've got Snowjamcomedy Festival this week, and we've got a bunch of people coming to town from like warm places. They think we're insane. Lucky them. They're like, why in the world would you guys live here. I'm like, well, we don't have this weather all the time, and when we do, we just stay inside. But people can't always stay inside. If they have to be outside, they should take precautions, right, Yeah, and especially with how much snow we got dumped on you because we decided
to have winter all in one week. Yeah, we had like no winter in November, no winter December, and then it was hey, let's just have winter all at once. So there are people that are moving snow and that can be kind of a challenge on your body, can it? Definitely? At least this stuff was pretty light, powdery, so it moves pretty quickly. There's just a lot lot of it, So one make sure that you're taking the time to do it properly. Don't try to rush through it,
because that's where you're going to get hurt. Especially when it's this cold too, it's good to make sure that you're warming up, you know, stretching because you're about to go do some exercise. Whether you feel like it's that it is or not, it's still a lot of work and the last thing you want to do is unfortunately, end up hurting yourself moving all this snow and that not everyone is lucky to have a snowblower or have neighbors that
are going to help them out. So I couldn't get my snowblower to start. Then I remember I have a skid loader parked in my yard, right, I'm using that. There you go, not work nice and maybe clean up nice and easy. I gotta get me one of those. I don't know if anyone everyone can have those. But you know, even with snowblowers too, you're still kind of bending over and having to move that snow. I have some patients that are well over six foot and you're talking with them
like, yeah, I'm having like bend over a lot. So we're seeing a lot more upper back kind of mid back from those guys, just because you know they're having to be bend over so much, versus when you're shoveling, it's kind of a whole body or kind of more lower body focused. You know should be because you're bending with your knees hopefully not just with your back. That's how you'll hurt your back. And there are people who go out and shovel the snow and they don't maybe prepare for it, and then
they can over exert themselves and get hurt pretty bad, can't they? Oh definitely, I mean they've this fortunately wasn't the snow. It's like the widow Maker kind of snow. That's the heavy stuff. But even this stuff is more like you know, sprain strains, throwing your back out, that kind of stuff. So if you're someone listening that you weren't prepared for all of this snow and trying to get it done quickly and you may have hurt yourself,

It was on this date January seventeenth, eighteen eighty five, a new reverend at the local Congregational Church arrived in town by the name of Reverend Pehlp and he had in possession upon his arrival a brand new Bible. New Bibles were not all that uncommon in
Sioux Falls. It was, indeed, at the time and still remains to be a very spiritual or religious community. However, Reverend Hulp claimed that his Bible was the very first copy of the Revised New Testament ever sold in America. If his claim is true, then Sioux Falls held the distinction for just over four years from eighteen eighty five till eighteen eighty nine of being the home
of such an important piece of history. The Revised Bible, or the Revised Standard Bible, is the only official recognized version of the King James Version recognized by the Church of England. It was a work begun in eighteen seventy nine to modernize the language and to improve the translation from Greek or Hebrew, where years and growing global knowledge of mankind had allowed for more precise interpretation. The New Testament was finished first in eighteen eighty one, with the Old Testament and
Apocrypha books being completed in the years to follow. The timeline certainly makes sense for a copy of that first publication to have found its way across the Atlantic into the hands of a young clergyman and eventually suffer with that man on his
mission west to our budding little town of Sioux Falls. True or not, I'm content with the knowledge that even from the very early years of Sioux Falls, our town was a place that even reports of one being in possession of a good, perhaps unique, copy of the Bible was considered noteworthy news.
