Dynamite was in Calgary tonight for the finals of the Owenhart Foundation Tournament, the men's final and the women's final, and they actually closed the show with the women's final. That I was scratching my head because it seemed like the women's final was more predictable than the men's in terms of who was going to go
over. Why wouldn't she close with the bigger of the two matches, But it became pretty clear at the end of the night why they did what they did, and they closed with one of the greatest closing angles that they've ever done here in the history of Dynamite, which shocked the hell out of me. That part of it I did not see coming, even though we really
should have seen it coming. But we had Mariah May and Willow Nightingale in the finals of this tournament having a very good match, with Maria May going over. Mariah May punches her ticket to Wembley Stadium to compete for the aw Women's World title currently held by timeless Tony Storm, and nobody was happier than Tony Storm to see Mariah May win this match. All was we oh,
they were hugging all smiles, skipping up to the stage. There's the Owen Cup, there's the Owen title, and then Mariah May lowers the boom on Tony's Storm and puts a savage beat down on this woman, the likes of which I don't think we have ever seen with the ladies on Dynamite before. We've had some brutal matches, you know, Britt Baker and thunder Rosa, we've seen stuff like that before, but in terms of an angle like what we got here at the end of this show, you would be hard pressed
to find one like the one that we got here. Mariah May looked like an absolute raving psycho when this show was over. This was not the Mariah May who's usually very timid sometimes when she's with Tony Storm, where she's old, bubbly and smiley, dancing like she was with Mina. This was a completely different side of Mariah May that we have not seen so far in her run here in this company, and it's all been building to this moment. It was the all about Eve's story. It was all about Eve from the
very beginning when she first came in. So it caught me off guard because I wasn't expecting it. I mean a lot of people were probably expecting, if anything, Tony Storm to be the one turning on Mariah May, who's now coming for her title, right, She's got to protect her championship. You won the owen, that means you get a shot at my title. But my title is the most important thing to me. I don't think anybody would have been surprised to see that. But when she beat this woman up,
and not only did she beat her up, she bloodied her. Tony Storm had blood pouring down her face. Mariah May took a high heeled shoe and was jamming it into this woman's skull. And I like the added touch of the white By the way, the white shoe got to get some of
that red on that shoe. It was a tremendous closing angle that puts a lot of heat now on that match heading into all in, so we got that bloody visual to close out the show they actually opened in terms of the matches they opened and close the show with blood, and I kind of hope, or not hope, but I kind of wish that they hadn't done that, and they would have saved the blood just for the main event closing segment.
It would have been even more impactful if we didn't have Brian Danielson earlier in the show with the same Crimson mask that Tony Storm was wearing, and they would have just saved it for the end of the show. But that's a minor critique because not only do we have a very good main event and an outstanding closing angle, but we had a pay per view caliber final on
the men's side between Brian Danielson and Hangman Adam Page. This one could have gone either way, and I was pulling for the hangman who just came back a few weeks ago. He's been booked like a killer ever since he came back to the company. I wanted to see Swerve Strickland against Hangman Page at all in Wembley's Stadium one on one. We are not getting Swerve Strickland against Hangman Page because Brian Danielson pulls it out in the Owen. He is going
to Wembley. He is going to attempt to win the aw World Championship, which he has never held before. He has never been a world champion in this company. I think he's been a champion at all in this company, but he's never been a world champion in this company. That is the story they are going to tell as he is in the middle of his final full time year as a pro wrestler. Can he do it? Can he win the title? Hey Sting went out as a champion a revolution, There is
no telling. You know what, Tony Kahan has an infinite amount of respect for Brian Dangleson. I think he's going to want to send him off in the best possible way, even though that's not his last match. But boy, that's a big stage for him. And he missed the show last year
and here this year he finds himself in the main event. But they went and they announced that next week on Dynamite, they're going to not only have a match, they are going to open the show next week with a huge match that a lot of people, myself included, were expecting to happen in London and it still might, but we're getting it next week between MJF and
Will Ospring on the two hundred and fiftieth episode of Dynamite. They're going to open the show with that match next week, and I'll talk about how we got there and where I think this may be headed. We had the champions Swerve Strickland on this show back this week, first time since Forbidden Door. He was off the show last week. Came out tonight and he's got a
lot of irons in the fire. Does Swerve Strickland because he is going to lead Team AW into Battle in the Blood and Guts match, which I've been talking about. That would have made no sense for him not to be in that match, so he made it official tonight. He is going to be leading Team AW into Battle. We also know that he is going to be defending the AW World title in the main event at Wembley Stadium against Brian Danielson.
Right that became official tonight as well. He's gonna be wrestling Kazuchka Okada on Dynamite next week on the two hundred and fiftieth episode that came out of nowhere, spit the challenge out and boom, we get Champion against champion, non title, but we're getting the Champion against Champion first time ever match next week on the show. And of course, even though he didn't win the oen, Hangman still looms large. In fact, we're gonna get Swerve and
Hangman in the ring. It's just not gonna be a Wembley, but we are going to get them in the ring, so that also looms Lars so Swerve Strickland, the AW world champion, has a lot going on, and that's a good thing because you want your champion to be involved as much as possible, and he certainly set that up on the show tonight. So we've got two pay per view caliber matches already set for the show next Wednesday.
That show is loaded, and that's not even the full lineup. Plus we have the fallout from the show closing angle tonight, that first Mariah May promo, which we may get next week lest they do it on Collision. That's going to be something to see as well. So a strong episode of Dynamite tonight, and it is building towards an even stronger show next Wednesday. And
in two weeks we have Blood and Guts. So Tony Kahan going no pun intended, going all in on Dynamite these next couple of weeks, trying to get people to tune in as many people as possible as he builds to his biggest show of the year. This is your AAW Dynamite review. It is Wednesday, July tenth, twenty and twenty four. I am the Solemn Monster. Thank you guys so much for hanging out with me here on a Wednesday
night. I appreciate it. The AAW International Champion will Ospray was out to the ring to open the show to respond to mjf's promo, his very good promo from Collision on Saturday, which a lot of people may have missed because it ran head to head with Money in the Bank, But basically the gist of it was he put the blame on the fans for why he did what he did to Daniel Garcia pointed out that he opened himself up to the fans. He was vulnerable, he let us in in ways that he had never
done before in his life, and he befriended Adam Cole. He went against everything he believed in, and what ended up happening is his supposed best friends stabbed him in the back. The fans turned their backs on him as well when Samoa Joe stole his title, and then he tuned into Dynamite the very
next week and they were all chanting, thank you Joe. So that was sort of the core of his promo, and so now he's going to turn it back around on all these fans and he's going to destroy everything that they hold dear to their heart because he thinks what they like in pro wrestling sucks and it has ruined this company and he is going to take the company back from them. Enter Will Ospray, who took a seat on the top turn buckle, said that he was appalled by what happened at the end of Dynamite
last week. That was when speaking of savage beatdowns, he laid a savage beat down on Daniel Garcia and left him bloody as well. So that's actually back to back weeks with two big turns and a bloody beatdown to close the show. He also gave him a tombstone off the middle rope. So he talked about how appalled he was by what happened, but he wasn't surprised. Said he's heard rumors about MJF that he's one of the most insecure men in
pro wrestling, and he showed it. Said the moment Daniel Garcia starts creeping up on Mjf's popularity, I'm sorry I had a stifle of laugh when I heard that. I know that's the idea that he's going for here, but was Daniel Garcia's popularity really creeping up on MJF. Maybe I need to get my hearings, but suspend your disbelieve here and just follow a loup. As soon as his popularity starts creeping up on MJFS, he does whatever he has
to do to stop it. Says Garcia is still home right now with no feeling in his arms and no idea when he's going to come back or if he'll even be able to come back, And MJF wants to blame the people for him opening up and being vulnerable towards them and talking about his add he said, well, I have ADHD and it doesn't give me an excuse to act like a prick to other people. He said there were a few reasons
that he thinks MJF doesn't like him. He said that the bidding war of twenty twenty four didn't really go mjf's way because Tony Kahan would rather spend money on guys that can help elevate AW and now bury it. MJF also called him a talentless hack. He said he's got more talent in his left nut that MJF has in his entire body. Why's it always got to be the left nut. And anytime you hear that expression, usually it's the left nut right. What about the right nut? I don't know, he said.
The main reason that MJF doesn't like him is that he reminds people what the identity of AW is meant to be. He represents the foundation of this place. MJF came back after his injury with a tattoo on his calf with AW, bet on yourself. But if he was really honest about it, it would say aew all about myself. And he called him a selfish little prick.
He said. The whole act is that MJF is a scumbag and the fans would cheer for him and say that he's our scumbag, you know, and he understands that and he welcomes it because that's the best version of MJF, he says. And it's been the same shit for the last five years, but it's the best version of MJF. He said, Allow me to show you that the level of the devil is ground floor and he's on the
top floor skyscraper BRV. And this time he's not in England grieving after his grandmother passed away, he's here in Calgary and he's after a fight, so if he's back there, he told MJF to get his ass out here so that they can handle this. So they played mjf's music and they did this on Collision as well, where MJF teased that Will Osprey was in the building and he challenged him to come out for a fight. They played his music and there was no will Osprey because Will Osprey was not there. So now
he's doing the same thing here with MJF. There's no MJF. Suddenly he appears on the big screen. He's sipping a glass of red wine. He said he's beaten every one of the fans' favorites who they thought were top guys. Why would he be any different. Will's a flavor of the month, He's a flavor of the millennia. Osprey's like their little dancing toy monkey. Fans are gonna get tired of it and they'll discard him like everybody else.
But MJF is irreplacement. They're gonna move on and call the next flippy guy the best in the world. He's a generational talent, and if he gets in the ring with MJF, he will be exposed. Osprey wants MJF tonight. No, say, he doesn't wrestle for fun, he wrestles for a purpose. He wrestles for the betterment of aw And he says next week he's got a proposition MJF against will Ospray for the International Championship. That way, for the first time in his career, he won't be wrestling for stars.
He'll be punching him in the face until he starts seeing them. Osprey said that he would see MJF next week, and he called him a little bitch because that's what everybody does. Now, you're stealing Ocottas. Shick Ocottas should be the only person calling people a bitch on this show. That's kind of
his whole act. So wow, they are going to MJF against will Ospray one on one for the very first time a month before Wembley Stadium in Little Rock in front of last time I checked eighteen hundred people, and they are giving that match away next week on what is the two hundred and fiftieth episode of Dynamite. Now, I can remember when MJF had that first match with Cmpunk that was not on pay per view, they did that match on Dynamite that was in Chicago, that was in front of CM Punk's hometown fans.
That made sense. Wasn't expecting them to give this away in Little Rock on TV next week, But here we are now. There was talk of them wanting to book a big match for the two hundred and fiftieth episode. I don't think it's gonna be a bait and switch. I know some people you know might think, well, you know, they're not gonna they're not gonna do the match, or it's gonna be an angle, or there's not going to be a finish. No, I think they are doing the match.
I don't think it's a bait and switch, and AW generally doesn't do that. So if they've announced this match, and not only have they announced the match, but they've announced the fact that they're going to open the show with it next week, so the first thing you see when you tune into that show is going to be MJF against will Ospray, then we are getting the
match next week. It's not an angle. It's not a bait and switch that gives them two straight weeks of big matches, because we're gonna get that next week, and then in two weeks is Blood and Guts on the twenty fourth with Team aw against Team Alead. So the question now is what are they gonna do here? Because they're gonna do the match and we're gonna get a finish. Doesn't mean nobody is gonna get involved or not get involved in
the finish, but they're gonna do a finish. Do they put the international title on MJF and then run this back for a second time at Wembley Stadium.
When they announced Swerve and Osprey for Forbidden Door, I thought, well, that's one of two and they'll run it back at Wembley in the main event and then they can give Osprey a win there if they want to, And they didn't do that, and it came out later on that Osprey was really the one who pushed for the match to happen at all at Forbidden Door because people were talking about, well, you know, Swerve's time is limited,
he's on borrowed time. Will's obviously going to beat him at Wembley, and Will had a sense, I guess that this is not the match that they're doing at Wembley. So to cut all that off, let's do the match of Forbidden Door. He'll beat me. He's the champion. There's no shame in losing to the champion. It will end this narrative that Swerve is basically a dead man walking until he meets Will Ospin. So they did the match once, we're not going to get that again, at least not for
a while. This could very well be it. This could be the one and only, for now MJF Well Osprey match, So maybe they're not going to run it back. Maybe this right here is it. Based on what we saw later in the show with Pack. I don't think you can ignore the possibility that we don't get a Daniel Garcia appearance next week to get in in. This cost MJF the chance to win the international title. And maybe they really are going with the idea of doing MJF one on one with Daniel
Garcia at Wembley Stadium. Will Osprey goes off to defend the international title against Pack and those are the two matches that we get at Wembley Stadium. I think the chances of that happening just went up exponentially based on what happened on the show here tonight. And I'm not even saying that any of those would be bad matches. It just feels to me like MJF would have been and should have been, and maybe still will be in a higher profile, bigger
match on that card. You know, coming out of the main event last year he defended the title against Adam Cole, seemingly they were building to something. Osprey of course, is going to be the returning hero, you know, when he walks into that stadium, and so that's going to be one of the top two biggest matches on the entire show, whatever he does.
If they don't do it, I would be surprised. But maybe they want to get Daniel Garcia over and this is their way of doing it, and they really are going to forge ahead with him at Wembley, thinking that this could be the make or break moment for him. Ospray and Pack. I mean, if they want to do Ospray and Pack, I don't think anybody is going to complain about seeing Ospray and Pack. But that would definitely not be the match I was expecting for that show. So that was a surprise
to open the show with. But we're getting a big match out of it next week. Speaking of big matches, that led into what came up next, which was Jeff Jarrett out on stage. He was standing right beside the Owen Cup and the owen Hart Championship Belt. He was the special enforcer for the finals of the owen Hart Tournament. Brian Danielson one on one with Hangman Adam Page. Nigel McGinnis was on commentary here instead of Task. Taz was not on the show tonight. It was explained that Taz was in Calgary.
He came to the building. Chris Jericho pulled some strings with the EVPs and he got them to turn Taz away from the building. How that must suck, right, Taz flies all the way to Canada and then can't even get into the building. So we didn't have Taz. We had Nigel McGuinness here. And the fact that we had Nigel McGinnis here for Brian Danielson match,
I'm thinking, okay, all right, this is a sign. This is a good sign for those of you like myself who have been hoping for almost a year now that we would get Nigel and Brian at Wembley, which I think we would have gotten last year but Brian got hurt. We're gonna get it this year. And there's gonna maybe they'll shoot the angle here for it even even after the match, right, it's gotta be a reason why Nigel is on commentary here there was no angle. Now we had Nigel healing on
him the entire time, crying Brian. I mean, he was going off on him the entire time. He's been going off on him for months, some months and months. I thought there was a payoff at the end of all this, but evidently not. Did not take long before Danielson was bleeding heavily coming out of the first commercial break. He was also clutching his neck.
That's been a story this entire time here in this tournament that passed head and neck issues, and every bump he takes he's grabbing the neck or he's you know, he's flopping around like a fish, and he's trying to sell it and everything. So that that's been a story throughout this entire thing. Danielson at one point hit a springboard somersault dive from the ring to the floor, which ex Caliber said is something he had not seen Danielson do in at
least ten years. Hangman came back with a pile driver on the floor. Here comes Doc Samson checking on Danielson. Jeff Jarrett comes over. He's checking on Brian as well. Hangman comes over. Jarrett tries to keep him away and Hangman pie faces him. Jarrett didn't take the bait. Hangman goes back to the ring. Now the doctor was trying to talk Brian out of getting back in the ring. Referee Paul Turners in the ring. He's laying down the count. Brian is saying no, no, no, and he stumbles
back into the ring just before the count of ten. Hangman was all over him as soon as he got back into the ring. So as the blood is pouring down this man's face, Page starts ripping the kinesio tape bit by bit, piece by piece off of Danielson's neck. He looked for a discus lariat. Brian ducked it, hit the ropes and connected with the Bussaiku knee. He could not capitalize on it. Both men were down. He went for another knee. Hangman, though, moved out of the way and he
wiped out. Paul Turner got taken out with the flying knee, so he's out of the picture. Now, down goes the referee. Hangman turns Brian inside out with a lariat, and then he takes his belt off and he starts whipping him with it like a dog. Then he wrapped the belt around his neck and he started choking him with it. When Jeff Jarrett Forcer climbs into the ring and he's getting up in Hangman's face, Hangman's getting up in his face and Hangman shoves him down to the mat and he tells him you
ain't shit. So Jarrett gets back to his feet. He pulls off his shirt to reveal a referee shirt underneath, so now he's going to be the referee for this match. Brian rolls up Hangman with a schoolboy only gets two. Brian got the labell locke applied, Hangman reversed into a dead eye. Jarrett dropped down to count. Brian kicked out. So now Hangman goes to the apron and he sets up for a buckshot lariat and he nails it right to the back of the neck. He goes out. He tries for another
one, Brian avoids it, tried for a pin. Hangman kicked out, transitioned into a cross face, and just when it looked like Danielson was out cold, he was fading it looked like he was out. Jarrett grabbed the arm, he lifted it up and Brian held the arm up. He still had life to him, so he ends up rolling Hangman up for the flash pin and he gets the three count and he punches his ticket to Wembley Stadium. He is going to the main event to challenge for the aw World Title.
After the match was over, Jarrett he's arguing with Hangman. Hangman's storms to the back. Jarrett goes back to the stage and Martha hart Owens widow is there and he takes her by the arm and he's got the championship belt over his shoulder and Jarrett walks her down to the which was a nice moment. He walks Martha down to the ring. Martha in the ring presents the Owen Cup and Championship belt to Danielson and Danielson shakes her hand and you know,
she goes in for a hug. He's got blood pouring down his face. She doesn't seem to care, which I thought was cool. So Martha said it's her great pleasure to award the cup and the title to Danielson and says that they will see him at Wembley stadium for his a world title shot, and Nigel on commentary said, that's not my champion. Nobody was more unhappy about this outcome than Nigel McGinnis. But this was another fantastic match in
a series of matches that these two men have had. They came into tonight all knotted up one one and one, so this was the fourth and deciding match here between these two and again an excellent match. I was disappointed though that Hangman did not go over. He has been a killer since his return. I would not have beaten him this soon. It's not gonna kill him, but I wouldn't have beaten him this suon. You want to beat him, beat him at Wembley, but I would have had him win this tournament.
I think it should have been Hangman one on one with Swerve at Wembley. It's the stronger of the two matches in terms of the story between them, the heat between them, the personal issue between them. I know we've seen it before. Hey, look we've seen Danielson and Swerve before, just once, but it's not like it's never been done before. But that match between Hangman and Swerve is the deeper personal issue of the two and I think
it would have been an appropriate main event for that Wembley show. But I'm not gonna hate on them telling the story of Brian trying to win his one and only world title in this company before he wraps up his full time run. That's the story that they have chosen to tell here. Brian Danielson is beloved, Brian Danielson is going to go in there and have the crowd behind him. They're gonna want to see him win that championship. You know,
WWE's probably gonna tell a similar story next year with John Cena. They should write the title Chase number seventeen. It's a good story to tell. It does not mean that in the end though, he has to actually go in there and win the championship. I think there's a very good chance that's exactly what's gonna happen, and Brian Danielson is gonna leave Wembley Stadium the aw world champion, because why go through this entire tournament and tell this story with Danielson
in the neck and can his body hold up? Can he do it? Can he survive? And he goes all the way to the end and he wins the tournament, and then goes to Wembley and loses. It just feels to me like it would be kind of a waste from their perspective. It would be kind of a waste for him to go in there and not win
the title and finish the story that they appear to be telling here. So it's early yet, not gonna give a final predictions or anything like that, but if I were a betting man, I would think that Danielson's got to be the favorite going into this match, and if that's the story they want to tell, then the way you tell that story is by having Brian Danielson stand tall as the aw World champion at the end of that show. What it should be is swear of Strickland winning and then two weeks later it all
out in Chicago defending that title against Hangman Adam Page. Whether he wins a match to earn the shot or whether he is is paid a favor by the EVPs. You do Danielson and Swerve at all in, you do Swerve and Hangman at all out, And that's what I would do in Chicago one on one. It's what I said on Twitter last week. This could be their way of having their cake and eating it too, or they get to do both matches, but I think it's going to be very tempting, maybe a
little too tempting for them not to put that title on Brian Danielson. What I'm most disappointed in though even more than you know, Hangman not getting the win here. What I'm most disappointed and is the fact that we are not going to get Nigel McGinnis and Brian Danielson. Because if it's not happening at Wembley Stadium this year, then it's not happening like this was it. This was the final chance if this was ever actually going to happen, to do
the match, and so it's not happening. And I'm sad that we're not going to get that match because they teased it. They teased it for so long they made you think that at some point we might have a good shot at getting this match, right, all these insults they have to be paying off somewhere and they happen to have this big show in London at Wembley.
Nigel's keeping himself in good shape, right, So I'm disappointed that we're not going to get that match because I think it would have been even though Nigel is not wrestled in years and years. I think that would have been a hell of a match. Today's episode is sponsored by Betterhelp. Do you ever find yourself comparing your life to someone else's on social media? H e LP dot com slash Solid Monster, Swerve, Strickland and Prince Nana speaking of the Champion, they were out to the ring next. Even before the segment was over. They were already on their way down
to the ring. They went to commercial. When they came back, they were already in the ring for a promo, and Swerve recalled Will Austin. See now people are saying, maybe it all out I don't want it all out. If you're gonna do Nigel back in the ring, it's gotta be Wembley. How are you gonna have a show in London and then bring back Nigel McGinnis two weeks later in Chicago. Come on, now, Wembley was the place to do it. Time and place sometimes is so important. That's
where I wanted that match. So Swerve remembered will Osprey looking him in the eye and telling him that the best in the world was the person who holds the championship. Swerve said, he's the best in the world now that he's
beaten will Ospray and he's still the AW world champion. So Swerve congratulated Brian Danielson for winning the owen Hart Cup and said that it would be an honor to face him in the main event at all in Swarve said that it still haunts him, it still bothers him that Danielson holds a pinfall win over him. Swerve said they are two different points at two different points in their careers.
Swarve said Danielson is on the downslide, whereas he is the most dangerous man in AW and then he recalled how the EVPs had tried to recruit him to be the fifth man on their team for Blooding Guts. Of course he said no. He said that he will be in Blooding Guts, but he will be the leader of Team AW against the Elite. In Blooding Guts. He said he would do two things that Brian Danielson failed to do this year.
Number one, beat will Ospray, which he could not do with Dynasty, and number two, he would lead Team AW to victory over the Elite, which Danielson failed to do in the Anarchy in the Arena match. Then, out of nowhere, in the middle of this promo, he issues a challenge to the Continental champion, Kazuchka Okada to a match. I mean again, this is just like, Okay, we're gonna go. We're gonna we weave ourselves over here in this lane. We were in the middle lane,
now we're in the right lane. We're gonna go over here, and we're gonna go in a totally different direction. And he issues a challenge to Okada and said the world champion would show him how to make it rain, and Swerve said that he would see Danielson it all in. He promised Danielson that it would truly be his final countdown. Uh, this was fine, I mean not the strongest swerve promo, and the crowd unfortunately was too quiet, a little too quiet for this. I am glad though, that he pledged
to lead Team aw and blooding Guts. He can't do a match like this when you already left him out of anarchy in the arena, and you have this group of guys, the EVPs, who think they could throw their weight around, right, they're trying to run the show. This guy's the champion, right, he's the face of the company. So how do you not have him leading the charge in a match like this? It only makes sense
for him to be in there now. Later in the show, Hangman went to the Elites office and he told the Bucks, I'll do it, and then he walked away. Now that's in reference to being the fifth man in Blood and Guts, which he turned them down a couple weeks ago. He said no, Now he's had a change of heart, and they made it official later they outright said yes, he is the fifth man. He will
be on Team Elite in the Blood and Guts match. And so it's you know exactly what I told you guys last week that the moment that Hangman finds out that Swerve is leading Team AW, he is going to change his mind and have a change of heart and he's going to go to the bucks and put me in. And that's exactly what we have because this man will do
anything to get his hands on Swerve Strickland. And if he's not going to go to the main event at Wembley Stadium, then he'll get him in two weeks of blooding Guts any way that he can get his hands on this man. That's how obsessed he is still with Swerve Strickland. So that played out pretty much the way I figured that it would. The challenge to Okata came out of nowhere. It has been made official. It is going to take
place on the two hundred and fiftieth episode next week of Dynamite. But again, as I said at the beginning of the review, I like how Swerve has all of these different irons in the fire. He's got all of these different opponents, all of these different challenges coming up. He's gonna lead Team AW and blooding Guts, He's got the issue with Hangman still hanging over his
head. He's got the main event at all in which is going to be, I mean, the biggest stage he's ever had in his career wrestling Brian Danielson challenging him or defending the aw title against him and Okata next week for the first time on Dynamites. So good good Swerve should be involved in all of these things. And then in the middle of all of this, he's got to come to House of Glori in a few weeks and he's got to wrestle Amazing Red. So that's five, that's five things he's got to deal
with. He may not make it to the main event at Wembley Stadium. We'll find out July twenty sixth, and I'll be there to call it. I can't wait. Samoa Joe against the Learning Tree Al Chris Jericho. Hey yeah, m Mills, thank you, thank you for the well timed Learning Tree. This was a Stampede street fight. They were in Calgary. They were at the Calgary Stampede. They were dressed for a street fight. Joe
was in street clothes of course. He and Shibata and Hook. They took a hell of a beating from the Learning Tree crew on the show last week, but ex Caliber said doctors cannot divult Hook's condition following last week's fireball attack by Jericho. So Hook was not there, and we were told that Shebato was not there as well. Joe was all by himself. Jericho wore a cowboy hat down to the ring. Joe took the hat off, held it
by Jericho's face, and then punched it. Joe ducked a clothes line and then he sailed, threw the ropes, hit Brian Keith with a flying forearm, and then he threw Keith over the barricade. Jericho pulled out a black bag and poured horseshoes all over the ring. Jericho tried and failed to suplex Joe, who ended up slamming Jericho onto the horseshoes. Jericho put Joe in the walls of Jericho, though, heading into the picture and picture break,
Joe hit Jericho with a horseshoe. That's a real thing that happened. Jericho avoided a muscle buster and hit a dropkick before waving to the crowd. Hi Guy. Jericho dove off the apron. Joe, though, did his signature walk off, and Jericho smacked the steps instead. So they fought to the backstage area. Jericho threw hot coffee in Joe's face, and unlike Cain, this time he meant to do it. He tried for the Judas effect. Joe avoided it. He got the cocina Klatch replied until Big Bill snuck up
from behind it hit Joe in the back with a chair. Brian Keith showed up. He joined in the beatdown. They held him for Jericho, who wrapped a belt leather belt around his fist, hit Joe in the head with it. Bill then choke slamb Joe sort of onto a wooden pallet that was on a forkliff. You know, it reminded me of when the Undertaker attempted to choke slamb Hulk Hogan back in two thousand and two. Hulk Cogan did not want to go up for that chokeslamb, and then when he finally did,
it looked like shit, the worst chokes lamb I've ever seen. That's what this reminded me of. Jericho climbed into the driver's seat and he drove the forklift through a makeshift wall. Officials immediately hit the scene to check on Joe, who was shown he was not on the palette anymore. He was sitting on the ground unconscious, up against another wall cult Cabana, who they identified as one of the producers he hit the scene. He was asking Jericho
what the hell's wrong with you? In the arena, we could hear Justin Roberts announced that the doctor has stopped the match and the winner is Chris Jericho. Jericho had a sinister smile on his face as he walked away, and after a commercial break, they showed the paramedics loading Joe into an ambulance on the outside, while Jericho, Bill and Keith they stood by and Jericho rather did a slow wave and said bye bye to Joe. As Jericho segments go,
I've seen worse. I've seen worse. He came across as psychotic here, he came across in a way that was not nearly as ridiculous and over the top as he has been lately. And that's the best thing I can say about this. I don't know if this is going to be any sort of permanent character change for him, you know, if he's going to show up next week all happy again, you know, hi guys and parting random bits of wisdom on us. But at least for one night. At least
it wasn't more of the same. So, like I said, that's the best thing I could say about it. We'll see when Hook comes back from his Memphis style fireball to the face. We had a Global Glory four way match for a shot at the International Championship with Claudio Castig, Nolie, Kyle Fletcher Tumbo here from New Japan Pro Wrestling. Because the forbidden door you see never closes. Forbidden door is always open. Anybody can walk through that door
at any moment. See, this is the forbidden door is very much the polar opposite of how it is here in New York. Now, I don't know how it is where you live. I've heard that in parts of Canada. You know, people don't worry about this kind of stuff. They leave their doors unlocked. Well, you don't do that in New York unless you want to get a visitor. You don't do that in New York. Not just anybody can walk through the door. In fact, I have bars on
my front door. You have the outer door and you have the inner door, and I feel very safe. But the forbidden door you see is always open. Oh long, you never know when somebody like this might walk through. That's what baseball bats are for. I went downstairs and I saw the learning tree walk into my house. There would be no more learning tree, the forbidden revolving door. That's right, daddy, Uguarde, you nailed it. This was fun though, plenty of action. We got a forearm battle
from everybody. Hi just no sold them all, started to lighten them up with head butts. Kyle Fletcher ate a poison rana from Pack, who ran into a pop up upper cut from Claudio, who then ran into a head butt from h Fletcher hit a spinning tombstone on h for a close two. Claudio did the giant swing on Fletcher into the sharpshooter. Pack flew in with a top rope elbow and applied the brutalizer at the same time as Chi came
in and broke up or broke things off with Claudio. Hi's brainbuster got blocked. Claudio hit a neutralizer on Kyle Fletcher scrambled for some pin attempts with Pack. They were arguing with each other. Pack went up and hit a black arrow before locking the brutalizer on Fletcher for the submission. Claudio tried to get back in, but couldn't make it into and Pack. Pack wins the four way solemn Monster in the hood. Why because I've got I've got a steel
door. Hey, you got a lot of crazies out there. You can never be too short. So after the match, Pack took the microphone and said it's safe to say that things have not been going well for him lately. Since returning. He's made bold promises but suffered many humiliating failures. He said, it's all in season, and the bastard will not be denied his Wembley moment. Let this victory, excuse me, Let this victory be a
line in the sand. The bastard will be back now. They did not make it entirely clear that Pack is going to be getting his international title shot, which we were told Pack is going to now receive by way of winning this match. They did not make it clear on commentary, nor did Pack in his promo that that is going to happen at Wembley, only that in his promo he talked about how he's going to have his Wembley moment. He
didn't say I'm going to win the title at Wembley. They left it very vague and I'm wondering why that was and thinking it may have had to do with the match next week with MJF and will Ospray, and they want to wait to see how things play out in that match before they make it official that Pack is going to actually be getting a title shot on that show. So I think this is really predicated on whatever they have planned for that match next week, and then they'll make it clear as far as when he is
going to be getting that match. If he is going to be getting the shot at Wembley, I think will Ospray against Pack is a very real possibility. We could be seeing Danny Garcia cost MJF next week. They're going to have a match which I would still be blown away. If that's the match for MJF at Wembley, I would be very surprised, But it looks like it might happen, and then Osprey could defend his title against Pack on that
show, which of course would be an incredible match. If not, though, if that is not the direction here, Tony, come on, Pack, Ricochet, Wembley Stadium, make it happen one or the other. It's either Pack and Osprey or Pack and Ricochet. All three of them in the ring together, I think would be pure insanity, but we don't need to get that just yet. One or the other. I'd be fine with either
one. We had the CEO Mercedes Monet out to the ring to celebrate her double championship victory at Forbidden Door. Stephanie Vacker should be sending her a bottle of champagne for the part that she played and helping her get that contract with WWE. They were very impressed by the match that she had with Mercedes if Forbidden Door, and that probably had more to do than anything else with her getting a deal right now, because Stephanie is on her way. It was
confirmed by Sean Michael. She's on her way to NXT. She could be there as soon as this week. She should send a thank you note to the CEO. She called herself now, she said in Calgary, she said this, Mercedes called herself the best there was, the best there is and the best that there ever will be instant heat anybody but Brett saying that in Canada instant heat. She had instant heat with me for saying it wrong, but I'll let it slide. She was about to lead the crowd in a
toast with a shot of something. I didn't write down what it was. It looked like piss, but I'm sure it wasn't. But she was about to lead the crowd with a toast of some kind of shot when Britt Baker's music interrupted. Mercedes then ordered her security around ringside to go cut her off in the aisleway, and Britt knocked one of the geeks down with a forearm, knocked another geek down with a thrust kick, made her way down to
the ring. Mercedes, though, exited through the crowd, so she did not get her hands on her Not much of a follow up to a last week's segment. But they've got a lot of time yet before all in. You know, they have to be careful that they don't peek too early with this. There's only so much that they can do if they're not going to put them in the ring, which they shouldn't not in a match. There's
only so much you can do right before it gets old. But this was really not much of a segment, by the way, Speaking of Britt Baker, I'm waiting with anticipation because tomorrow Sean Ross saff has teased that unfightful, he's going to have an update on Jamie Hayter. We have not had any update on Jamie Hayter in over a year, so I'm hoping it's a good update. We should know tomorrow a little bit more about when she may be coming back to aw It'd be great if they got her back in time for
her to be on that Wembley show. I'm sure it just ripped her guts up inside not to be on the show last year, and to miss it two years in a row would be pretty shitty. So I hope that she can find a role on that show, whether she's in a match or just making an appearance. Maybe she could be in BRIT's corner, whatever it is, I would love to see her make an appearance at Wembley for all. In Brandon Cutler was lying on the ground in the back. This was a
random segment inserted into the show. We had come back from a commercial break and Brandon Cutler with that stupid face mask, and it took me a second to realize who it was because it's not like he's on the show every week.
So he's laying on the ground and he's begging for mercy from someone, and the camera pans over and it's Darby Allen, and Darby Allen said that Jack Perry always says that they all need to make sacrifices, and so he issued a challenge to Jack Perry for next week on the two hundred and fiftieth episode of Dynamite. This was very quick again, it was in and out. It was a very weird way to bring back Darby Allen. I don't
know why they would have done it this way. Brandon Cutler, who's never on the show and nobody gives a shit about, is on the ground begging for his life from Darby Allen, who cares. Why is he even on the show? So that was a strange way to go about doing this. By the way I saw the match, I went back and I watched the match between Jack Perry and Marco Stunt, who made a one night return to
aw One Collision as the surprise opponent for Jack Perry. There was a spot in that match where Perry picked him up and he long darted this little fucker into the middle turn buckle so hard. I don't know how he he didn't cave his face it. I was like, oh, you know what, though, it's good, It's good to see some of that fire from Jack Perry, some of that viciousness. Yo, Marco Stunt. I mean that's an easy one, right. You take Marco Stunt, you can throw him
around, you can do anything you want with him. But man, he launched him. Go go go find it. He launched him into that turnbuckle. How he didn't break his nose, I'll never know. But then we had the finals of the Women's Owen Hart Foundation Tournament for the right to go on to Wembley Stadium and challenge for Tony Storm's women's world title. Willow Nightingale, who won last year, z Owen Willow Nightingale one on one with the
always lovely Mariah and may he always lovely Willow Nightingale too. I love both these women. I think they're both great, and I thought they had a very good match here. Willow, by the way, was right now. Mariah had pink on. Pink She was wearing pink. I didn't say pink eye, she had pink on. Don't get that confused. Willow was actually wearing she was rocking the black and yellow caution tape gear in tribute to Owen Hart from during his Nation days, which I thought was really cool. Mariah
mounted a comeback after a break with her top rope dropkick. She hit some sweet cheek music. Tony Storm was outside with Luther and Tony's cheering on. Mariah Nightingale went for the sharpshooter, but Mariah fought out planted her with a German souplex. Willow hit a fisherman's bomb for a close near fall and then went for the pounce, but as she came in, Mariah caught her with a head butt instead and both women collapsed to the mat. Tony took the
referee. So while the referee is being held, someone in a sting hoodie has run down to the ring and Willow has this purse like in the rope. She's got a hold of this person. We can't see who it is. Their faces obscure. They got the hood over their head. But then Chris Statlander appears on the apron and she hits a running boot to Willow Nightingale, and we then see that the man in the sting hoodie was Stokely Hathaway and then so Stokely and Statlander they make a run for a bee line to
the back. They look like they just robbed the bank, or someone told them that there was a learning tree segment coming up a boy. They bolted out of there as fast as their feet could carry them. Mariah, meanwhile, and Tony Storm they didn't realize what had happened. Mariah hit her charging knee strike, Willow kicked out. So Tony Storm told Mariah go for Storm zero, which is what she did, but she ate a lariat by Willow
instead. Nightingale lowered the straps, hit the corner cannon ball, and she went for the death valley driver, But Mariah spun out into a victory role and she got the pin to win the Owen Hart Tournament. She won with the victory role. I love it. I love that nod to the way that Owen beat Brett at WrestleMania ten. Also by the way the way the Brett beat Bambam in the finals of the King of the Ring in ninety three. It is a heart specialty when it comes right down to it, and
all else fails bust out the victory role. So I love that little nod to Owen the biggest win of his career. He won with a victory role. So Tony was so happy for Mariah they're celebrating in the ring, and Mariah is all emotional and they hugged and they skip up to the stage. There's the podium, the Owen Trophy is there, and the Owen Heart Championship belt is there. Mariah May grabs the belt and she blasts Tony Storm right in the head with the Owen Heart belt. The crowd gasped. I was
shocked. They were shocked. The announcers were shocked. She unloaded on Luther as well. She didn't just beat up Tony, she unloaded on Luther. She kicked Tony hard in the ribs. Tony came up bleeding from the forehead badly, blood pouring down her face. Mariah took the white high heeled shoe, I think one of Tony's shoes, all white, and started jamming it over and over and over again into her fore I thought she was jamming it
into her eyeball. She was jamming it into the forehead. Now she's bleeding even more. You see the blood smeared all over the shoe. Gotta go with the white shoe. I love it whenever they do an angle like this and they wear like a white shirt or a white suit, right that's why you get that great visual of the stained blood all over it. But she was really hitting her hard in the head, or you know, with that shoe shoves down Aubrey Edwards when she comes over to try to stop her.
I mean, this is an absolutely vicious attack. She knocked down Luther and then knocked him off the stage and he took a bump down through a table down below. Then she goes over and she kisses Tony's Storm on the head and she rubs her face all over Tony's bloody forehead. And the parting shot of the show, the camera zoomed in. Tony's Storm is on her knees being held by Mariah May, and her face is covered in blood. She looks like she was in a car accident. And that was the parting shot
that we got as the show went off the air. Mariah May looked like an absolute fucking psycho here. And I loved every minute of this. This was a hot angle. This was a shocking angle. Even if somebody said I saw it coming, even if you did, most people watching this were probably shocked and did not see this coming. And if anything, they may have expected that Tony Storm would be the one to turn on Mariah May because
she felt threatened that Mariah was coming for her title. That it was all building to this moment, when in fact, question now is was this whole thing in act? The answer is yes, yes, it was. From day one, This entire thing was in act. That was the whole point of the story, and it was all leading to this moment. She wants to be the champion. Tony Storm has the title, and we've had moments
where she's looked at the title. I've been talking about that lately with Randy Orton and the way he's been eyeballing the WWE title whenever Cody's around with it. We've had some moments like that with Mariah. But no, I mean, this entire thing was designed to get to this moment where Mariah May would show you in the end. It was never about being Tony Storm's friend. Oh I love you, Oh I tried to emulate you. Yes, she wants to be like her because she wants to be the champion. She wants
to be one, number one, the dominant female in this division. That's all this was ever about. And now that she has her shot and she's guaranteed a championship, match in her hometown. She's going to be in London now she can show her true colors. I thought this was fantastic, one of the best endings to a Dynamite in the history of the show. This was excellent and this is why they ended the show with the women's match and at the Brian Danglson match. My question is, are the fans in London
going to cheer for Mariah over Tony or Tony over Mariah. I don't I mean, I don't think it's much of a question. Really. I think it's gonna be Mariah, even though she's the heel in all of this because she's betrayed Tony Storm. Tony Storm never really did anything to betray her. Right, she's the heel going into this match, But I don't think they're gonna be booing her in London. And I think we finally get a new women's world champion as we should. Mariah May is going to be a fine
choice to win that title at Wembley. So this was a hot way to go off the air. This crowd. Again, the crowd was up and down throughout the entire show, but they reacted with shock and awe to that closing angle. So you had two excellent ornament matches, a great closing angle, we had a fun four way match, and those really were the key parts of the show. Swerve again, he's got his hands and a lot of different things going on. They're loading the show up. Next week.
We've got two big matches, Okata and Swerve, MJF and will Osprey easily could be a Wembley match. We're getting it next week. Two weeks from now, we have Blood and Guts. Hangman now joins the Elite. All we know about Team AW is that we have Swerve and we have Mark Briscoe. They might be joined by the Acclaimed. I would think they would be, and then that leaves one spot open, so we'll have to see. We'll find out next week who the other members of Team AW are going to
be. But he's trying to load these next few shows up, and he's gotta get people all hyped up for Wembley. I think they have forty five ish, maybe forty five thousand tickets sold for that show. I don't know what the setting it up for. They're not setting it up for eighty like last year. But you know, if they get fifty thousand people in that building. That's fifty thousand people in that stadium easily gonna be their second biggest
crowd. No, no matter what they do that night, I guess my question is are they going to be able to keep doing Wembley every year or is that number just going to continue to dwindle down. I think his goal is to run Wembley every year on that weekend. It's like a bank holiday over in the UK. He wants that to be their annual thing. I don't know, we'll see, We'll see how the show does this year, but they should be able to get at least fifty thousand people in the building
for that show. I'm looking forward to that. In the chat, we have a poll going. There's no Twitter poll, but in the chat with about seven hundred almost seven hundred votes in seventy five percent thumbs up score for tonight show, eighteen percent thumbs in the middle, eight percent thumbs down. If you are currently in the live chat, go ahead and vote. Let
me know what you thought of this dynamite show. Let's give a shout out here to Brian Anthony Rivers this WWE signing up va Kerr for Vacker Stephanie Vacker change how other promotions utilize their top talent when it comes to joint shows.
No, I don't think it changes anything. WWE is always going to keep an eye out for these things and scout through these other shows, and if somebody has a great performance and looks really good, they're gonna say, how come we don't have that person, And they're gonna make overtures to them, and they're gonna make an offer, and sometimes they'll get them and sometimes they won't. But I don't think it's going to change how these joint shows are
done. Chris Manson says Love is Dead kind of felt that way, didn't it. At the end of the show, I tweeted, I said, how could something so beautiful be so vicious? I didn't know she had that mead streaking. Know what is Mina going to think? Maybe they can get Mina to come back on TV and she could do the same thing to Mina, put even more heat on her because everybody loves Mina OZ glorious. Holy shit that ruled after the Backer Clown show today. This was an epic palate
cleanser of a show top to bottom. Even the learning tree and word to bliss Van who was right, Alexa is better than Backer. So apparently once you signed with WWE, you are dead. To Oz Glorious, you no longer exist. To Juliet with the twelve dollars learning tree. What were you and JD saying about Stephanie being contracted to CMLL for a while last night? What I said was she was under a long term deal with CMLL, and if you remember what I said, CMLL has let people out of their contracts
before when they get a big offer. Like I specifically told you that it was never going to be an issue. If WWE wanted her, then they were going to get her. If AW wanted her, then they were going to get her. CMLO was not going to stand in that way. So what I said stance Oz and Glorious. Now that Mariah May is running solo, I think it's definitely time to shoot your shot. My dude. Pray for Mina's safety if she makes an appearance. Yeah, that's like what I
just said. Put even more heat on her. Have Mina come in and try to talk some sentenceto her. What are you doing? And then Mariah May can break a bottle of champagne over her head and bloody her up instant heat. Also really glad that Tony Kahan didn't do will Osprey against Swerve, But Wembley was getting annoying how telegraphed it was becoming, for example, Cody at Mania for two years. It doesn't bother me. Telegraph does not mean bad. That would have been a big match. I would have had no
issue with that. People make more of an issue out of that than they should. Jerome Eugenio does pro wrestling employ the worst security guards in the world. Yes they do, Yes they do. I would never hire a pro wrestling security guard to guard me, to guard my life, not unless I had a death wish. Alex with the twenty two dollars brother solo. Can you see a scenario where Ricky Starks makes his NXT debut within the next six to nine months, leading to a feud with Trick Williams and becoming the face
of NXT for a while, leading Trick to join the main roster. That's a lot of maybes in that super chat. I have no idea how much time he has left on his AW deal. He could have a year left, he could have a year and a half left. He could have six months left. I have no idea when he's going to be there, but I do expect that he will be there, and I do think that he will go to NXT that I don't think that Trick Williams is getting called up
at least until next year's draft. Antonio Taylor, that ending came straight out of left field. I thought there was going to be a slow build till all out, but this is better, brother. It's been a slow build for almost a year. He just didn't see it. They've been telling this story from day one, all about Eve Rodham is Prime. Two beatdowns in two weeks and another great episode of Dynamite. Gotta love it. Mariah May
turning on Tony had to happen eventually, Project Libertad. Let's say Sina joins AEW tomorrow and his final match will be against Tanahashi at next year's Forbidden Door. How would you make Sena's roadmap to that match? And who would you have him feud with until that? That's I mean, I'm not gonna answer that you wanted to book out an entire year of John Cena in AW I have no idea. I just booked out John Cena's year I'll tell you what.
I'm gonna book out his year on the podcast this weekend in WWA. I talked about it last night with with JD. Tune into the sound off on Sunday. I'm going to book out his next year in WWE, and I'll tell you who I want him in the ring, with what story and stories I would tell with him. Sena and Tanahashi. We don't need to see that. Sena in Tanahashi ten years ago would have been great. Sena
and Tanahashi now would just be sad. I would have no interest in seeing that, but I would want him in the ring with all the key players there. I'd love to see Sena and MJF, especially on the microphone. I would love to see that on the mic would be even better than what they do in the ring. So you gotta do that, Sina and Kenny Omega, Sena and Okada, I'd rather see that than Sena in Tanahashi retro. Koh I disagree. I think the fact we don't usually get bs finishes
or bait and switches in ab you will make next week more impactful. With Heel, MJF and Illuming Garcia, I can't fathom that this is a straight match. I don't think you're understanding what I'm saying here. There are people who think there will not be a match. There are people thinking it will be an angle. There are people thinking that it's going to be two minutes and that MJF is going to hit him in the head with a fucking chair. What I'm telling you is they are going to have a match. I
didn't say it's going to be a clean finish. I said there was going to be a match. They are not going to advertise this match for next week and open the show with it and not give you an actual, let's say, ten minute or twelve minute or fifteen minute, full blown match that may have Daniel Garcia make it appearance in the end, or may have MJF cheat to win, but it will be a match. That is the point that I was trying to convey m Mills with a double hit twelve dollars super
chat and then a twenty five dollars super chat. That's thirty seven dollars from m Mills. Thank you very much. I appreciate you. Oz glorious attention, Tony Khan. Nobody cared or will care about Disco Garcia coming back with Red Sox doing the same boring moves and unintelligible promos. Send him back to n XTA. Well, you're gonna get Daniel Garcia and you're gonna like it because he's coming back. Whether you like it or not, Walter Pelasios,
I feel that it will end being a triple threat. Hangman does blood and guts in exchange, he gets added to the main event. I guess because I don't know what else you do with him on day There's no I mean, his whole sole purpose in coming back was to get revenge on Swerve. There's no other match that even makes sense for him at Wembley, so maybe it's a triple threat. I guess I still want it one on one though.
Tuxedo t Servo recovering from getting hit by a car. Holy shit, I thought you had a fucking cold or something sore, but using the time to watch Solemn Monster content. Thanks guy. Well, I hope you're mostly okay. You seem to be okay. I don't know what the circumstances were around that, but that sucks. So heal up soon, my friend. I'm very sorry to hear that. Uh s ru. You should replace the learning tree with Booker t. Yeah, we're not gonna do that, but
es Ruth, thank you. Esrew's been on a lot of the streams recently. I appreciate it. Go Astros. What if Nigel costs Danielson at all it? No, No, they needed to have the match at all it Now it's like, what's not saying he can't do it? But if he's reading in the main event at Wembley Stadium, that's how you're going to end your main event at Wembley Stadium. By having somebody interfere like that would be fucking lame. So no, no, I don't want to see it.
Retro says Forbidden Door in twenty twenty four means about as little as Raw versus spack down at Survivor Series a few years ago. Barry MK just saw what Mariah did to Tony. How did they go from a comedy team lesbian teasing to that? I don't know, but you flip that switch and just like that we got a serious angle here. I'm glad they did. Derek J speaks What if MJF and Osprey goes to a draw Ospray versus Packed next week?
After that, MJF interferes, Pack wins the title, MJF Osprey at all In and Pack faces Rikochet. So Rickochet just comes in and gets a shot at the international title. Just like that. We have guys who have to wrestle in Global Glory four Ways and gauntlet matches to get a shot at the international title. Ricochet just shows up and boom, just like that. I don't see it going down that way. Let's they announced that the MJF Osbury match has a thirty minute time limit. I could see it going to
maybe a thirty minute time limit like Omega and Danielson did. Maybe, but I have a feeling Garcia is gonna get involved. James with the fifteen dollars. This is the one that I read before where he gives a shout out to the women's division. Absolutely, Hey James, thank you both men entertainment. No, Martha hert at the end of the women's match should have been a red flag or an angle alert. That's a tough day. I hope it gets better for you. Thank you for the four ninety nine. Hey
Solomonster. After the show, I saw some people say that they're tired of the Tony Storm gimmick. What are your thoughts? But Tony Storm gimmick has a shelf life. I am not one of those people who's tired of it yet. I think she's so good at it that it hasn't worn thin on me yet. If she's still doing it in six months, I might have a different feeling about it. But no, I'm not one of those people who feels that I'm sick and tired of it yet. I can understand people
feeling that way though Both men Entertainment. Isn't the Wembley All in set up low because of allegedly the Taylor Swift concerts that same week? Yeah, well, they can come up with whatever excuse they want to. If they felt they could fit sixty five thousand people in that building, they would have sixty five thousand people in that building. I don't buy it. The learning sicko doctor Bropio. Can't wait for the twenty match seven hour all in pay per
view, can't wait for the marathon? Huh, Sean Dee, come on TNA security. Stop Karen Engle Once Gold Matthew money in the bank with Ziggler with Ziggly mustache was electric? Could it be the most memorable money in the bank show. Ever, take Theory's run with the briefcase was better than Priests. I mean, there's so much wrong with that super chat. But no, Theory's run with the briefcase was not better than Damian Priests. That guy Yeager. That was a vicious beating by Mariah, Yes it was. She
looked like a psycho. No cap the devil angle was pointles. Unfortunately. I don't like that a big story like that was scrapped. It sucks. Cole is injured, but aw had to find a way. There's nothing they could do. I mean, we don't know how long he's gonna be out for. He could be back in two months, he could be back in seven months. What are they supposed to do? I mean, they could always revisit it. No one is saying they can't go back to it.
But as far as I'm concerned, it's dead. It's done, it's finish, that's it. What are you gonna do? You're gonna keep MJF as a baby face for the sole purpose of waiting for Adam Cole to come back when you have nothing else for him to do. You want to turn him heel, But well, we can't because we have this undisputed kingdom story that fell apart six months ago that we have to just you know, for the sake of justifying what we did, we have to keep it going. No,
you move on, it didn't work. Jeremy Rose MJF deserves better at Wembley than Garcia. Looks like they feel differently. I agree though, Bender mc simpson. Hangman's character growth since the beginning of AW has been fun to watch and another great match with Danielson. They work very well together. They have not had a bad match Bony for as long as he's been doing it.
Why don't other wrestlers take Joe's nope spot? It seems so obvious, but no one does it because it's his, because they don't want to piss off Samoa Joe. That's the simple answer why. Alex says, besides Jamie Hayter, what would Kenny Omega and Sammy Gavara be doing it all in? If they were not injured, Kenny Omega would be wrestling Kazuska Okada for the Continental title. Sammy Gavara who cares? I mean, what would he be doing? I don't care. Chris Mike Sell just wanted to show some love.
Hope all is well. Thank you Chris much love. MH is back. Say my name solo, I just did MH. There you go. Thank you for the super chat and we are all caught up. Now we got Jeremy Rose coming in. Jeremy Rose with a five is coming in. Do I think Danielson is the right guy to end Swerve's reign? No? I don't. But they may be telling a different story where it's not about Swerve. It's about giving Brian a big moment before he calls it quits.
And I understand it. But is he the right person to beat Swerve? No? I don't think he is. I would not be doing that. Thank you for the superchats. And we were also at four hundred and nineteen likes, one shy of four to twenty. Let's be the booker, ladies and gentlemen, it is now time to be the booker. Let's be the booker. Here we go, there's Jeremy's super chat. A Rojo beart Man. He's been a Channel member for thirty three months. One of our gold
skulls. I love all my red skulls, my gold skulls and my green skulls, and I think there may be a blue one in there as well. You two can have a skull become a Channel member. All Right, we begin Tag Team beat the Booker with crime Time never won titles in WWE, I don't believe, right, I don't think they ever had a run. It's Tag Team Champions. But JTG and Shad gas Bard, the late
Shad gas Bard, May he rest in peace. That man died a hero, and crime Time is going to be stepping into the ring with the Dudley Boys, Bubba, Ray and Devon. You know, I don't think they have enough titles here in this picture. I don't think they have nearly as many belts as they need. It's all right, Brooklyn, Brooklyn. Where's Bubba from? Is Bubba from Brooklyn? Is he from Queens? He's from the city too. They could have a New York City street fight. That
would be the stipulation. Okay, women's be the Booker. It's gonna be hard for me to top the women's card that Tony kan is putting together for Wembley, but I'm gonna try, and this is a hell of a start. The TNA Knockouts Champion Jordan Grace. Think about this. WWE is bringing in Stephanie Vacker. We know Julia is coming in in the next couple of months, and let's be hon it, Jordan Grace is going to w w E the moment. Her TNA contract is up at the beginning of next year,
if not sooner. So that's gonna be three huge additions to the women's division, whether it's NXT, whether it's the main roster. So you take Stephanie, you take Julia, you take Jordan Grace, and you add that to the likes of Rhea Ripley and Bianca bel Air and Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynchall come back eventually. I mean, they've they've got a hell of a
women's division there, all lined up. They're stacked with talent. I didn't even mention Tiffany Stratton and Bailey. You got other women waiting in the wings down there, Lola Ice and sol Ruka and Roxane Perez twenty twenty five. It's gonna be big for that women's division. Oh, don't forget about Alexa. I'm sorry, Ry Bliss, fen I committed the cardinal sin. I forgot about Alexa Bliss. That's right, I'm sorry, ten lashes for me,
ten lash legends for me? All right, Jordan Grace one on one with Kyrie, saye, here you go there you Oh my god, I forgot Yo Sky? How can I forget Yo Sky too? That's right? EO and Osca and Kyrie and Julia and Jordan, Stephanie, Rhea and Bianca and Jade and hey, all right, men's be the booker. They're booking Swerve and Brian Danielson. Can we top that? Can we beat that? Let's find out? Well we begin with Hollywood Rock. Well, you see, I told Solomons the it would be great if you pick me and be
the booker, and the rest is history. So thank you, Rock. It was all your idea, the Rock taking his rightful place in the main event. Be the booker against Bruno Sam Martino. Wow, talk about a clash of generations, the Rock and Bruno Sam Martino. That is a clean sweep in. Be the booker, the Rock cutting promos on Bruno. I don't think Bruno would be able to hold a candle to the Rock. I mean he would be smoked. But how's that for a battle a clash of
generations? There? Man, oh man, that is a clean sweep. Indeed, Thomas with the two bucks. I'm pissed I missed the Tony Storms segment. You should be well. Good news for you. They probably already have it up on their YouTube channel so you can go back and watch it. Gold Matthew with the five Agree or disagree on what I would rate these matches. This past Raw main event four stars MJF against Cole all in five stars might just be me, but it gave Brett versus Owen vibes. No,
I mean, I wouldn't give five stars to MJF and Cole. It was an excellent match. I'd probably go four and a half. Maybe the Raw main event on Monday. The Raw main event for the Raw main event was a tag team match, right that was? It was Dominic and Live against Ray and Zeleine at four stars. You're you're very generous, but no, and maya justice for mch You go start a hashtag power spying games. We had the main event a few months in be the booker before we didn't
have that main event though, I don't remember Rock and Bruno. I don't remember that. Uh, the Learning Sicko Doctor Bropio. I heard Jay White got hurt at the Collision taping. Oh no, is that true? Let me see here. I hope not. Not before Wembley, I hope not. Let me check. Let me check and see. Let me see what the update is here. Oh man, I mean, injuries are never a good thing anyway. But well, I mean I'm seeing a lot of messages
about j White being injured, but no one. I'm not seeing anything about what actually happened. So well, if that is it's true, that sucks. But I hope it's not true. Hopefully it's just a scare and nothing more. Let me see there's any news. Might be too early for that, but let's see. Yeah, I'm not seeing anything on that. I do see a note though, just FYI, I do see a note here that apparently the segment tonight with Samoa Joe was their way of writing him off
the show. Apparently he's going to be filming season two of Twisted Metal, so that was their way of writing him off. So we may not be seeing Joe for a while, so that's why they did the injury angle with him. But not seeing anything on j White. I know Rijo got injured. She was wrestling Lady Frost on Collision. I believe it was, and Rejo did. I think it was either a springboard or just a dive off the top rope onto Lady Frost on the outside. And just the way she
landed, you know, Lady Frost didn't really catch her very well. The actual fall didn't look like anything out of the ordinary. But I guess the way she landed on her left hand she was favoring her wrist for the rest of the match. Turns out she broke her wrist, so Rejo can't catch it. Well, I guess she did catch a break. But this woman just has had a string of bad luck and she just can't be consistent.
On television, there's always something that happens. It's it's too bad. So yeah, no, no ReHO for a while, No Riho, No Samoa Joe, and it sounds like no j White Power Spying Games says the Rock took Steve Blackman's spot in that be the booker. I see, okay, I don't remember that. I'm no memory of that, so so apparently the Fox stole his spot. What else is new? Hey? Zombifide guitarist is celebrating thirty one months of Channel membership, says Alexa back in the Wyatt faction.
Buy or sell. I'm gonna say no, I'm gonna sell. I think she needs to leave that behind and go back to being normal Alexa and work with some of the newer faces on the roster as herself, and at least for a while, drop all the voodoo spooky stuff that guy at Yagers is. Don't forget about Naya Jack's your favorite? Oh of course, how could I forget? Yeah, I mean she's been fine during this run.
Yeah, I mean, let Alexa do her own thing. It's been years, literally literally years since she's actually been able to go out there and just be herself. So if and when she comes back, it would be kind of refreshing to have her out there as a normal, regular human being. Who is the sixth member then, If not Bliss, the sixth member is Bray White. Six member is not another person. It is the spirit of Bray. Why he will forever be a part of the wy At six.
He is the sixth man. Mister Dynamite says, I know Bliss Fan will be disappointed. Blist Fan's head is about to explode, says Hoffman. Sorry to break it to you, but that's what that's what I feel. I feel like that's what's gonna end up happening when she eventually comes back. Bliss Fan's gonna be awfully upset when Alexa comes back and she gets wiped out by Jade Cargill, when Jade gets her up for the Jaded and then drops her and pins her, and bliss Fan is going to be furious. Thank you,
guys for all of the support. Bass Beers says, what is your favorite WWE logo? It is the original block letter logo, which you can see behind my head. I have a light up sign with it. I mean that tells you right there, right, I have a light up acrylic sign of the WWF block letter logo that I grew up on. That is still my favorite logo. Thank you for joining me, guys. I'm not feeling great, but we got through it, and thank you for keeping me
company tonight. I'm going to be back with you possibly on Friday. Let's play it by ear and see what happens. Hopefully back for SmackDown, but I will keep you guys posted on that on Twitter. Be well. Stay safe. Wow right, koh Men just gifted five channel memberships. It's very kind of you. Mister Dynamite was gifted a membership. KG Black twenty four
gifted a membership. Welcome to all of our new channel members. We had like a channel member like challenge the other night where people were gifting and then more people were gifting. I'd love to see it. Em and m with the two bucks. Best women's segment in aew since DMD Bloodshed. They got that iconic image in aw of Britt Baker with the bloody face right from the match with thunder Rosa, and that was back in the early days of Dynamite.
Yeah. I mean that was the best women's segment that I have seen on their show on Dynamite specifically in years. Love that finish, West Coast j James, thank you very much. Thank you James. All Right, I'll see you guys soon. Check out all the other content on the channel. Check out TNT. Last night on JD's channel with he and I, we had a great discussion. I think that was our longest show yet.
They seem to be getting longer somehow, well over three hours. Plenty of content there and plenty of content here on this channel as well, including my WrestleMania forty Behind the Curtain documentary review, and then episode eight seventy of The sound Off is coming up on Sunday. Take care, guys,
