Aw open strong tonight and they ended strong and what was in the middle of the show was pretty damned strong too. This was a wild episode of Dynamite. A lot going on. By the way, Ross is with us tonight
at three thirty in the morning. I don't know where you are, but wherever you may be, Ross, thank you for joining us, and thank you for joining us tonight here as well, live on YouTube to talk about a very eventful episode of Dynamite, highlighted by the return of Kenny Omega at the very end of the show, coming out after the main event to provide the assist to his fellow Elite members and Hangman Page after their win over the
Blackpool Combat Club. But then Kenny Omega got a rude awakening. He was met by Will Osprey, who made a surprise appearance tonight on Dynamite. Of course, Omega will be defending the IWGP US title against Osprey at Forbidden Door, which is coming up in a couple of weeks, and that was the arting shot that we got at the end of the show tonight. It was
Kenny Omega down and Will Osprey standing over his body. But in the opening match of the show, we had MJF, the AW World Heavyweight Champion, one on one with Adam Cole. How often do we get to see MJF wrestling on Dynamite? Not very often. It does not happen very often. Although now we can say that we actually have champions and Seth Rollins and MJF
who wrestle on TV more than Roman Reigns. But tonight it was a world title eliminator match where Adam Cole would have to beat MJF if you wanted a shot at the AW World Championship. What these two men went out there and did tonight. They went out there and they had what I would best describe as a classic old style Adam Cole NXT Black and Gold takeover main event level
match. There's a mouthful for you. So that was an incredible opening match with a very clever ending, and I know it's going to be a very polarizing ending. I know there's going to be some people who really hated it. I thought it was brilliant and I'll talk about why. We also had tonight the first ever confrontation and this is not something I was expecting on this show tonight, but we got the first ever confrontation that may possibly be leading
to something between Chris Jericho and Sting. In all the years that they have either spent time in the same company or have cross pads work for different companies, you know they're obviously. Sting has had a very long career. Jericho's career has been almost as long. And they've never worked together before. They've never been part of a tag team match together, They've never faced off each
other against each other. They've never had a pay per view program together, and tonight we got the first face off between these two, and we had more forbidden door announcements. As the pay per view is getting ever closer, we now know what the IWGP World Champion Sonata will be doing a forbidden door. Not only do we know what he'll be doing, we know who he will be facing, and Hiroshi Tatahashi throughout a challenge to somebody tonight. Who
that person is, well, we'll talk about that. We'll talk about that and everything else. Because this is your aw Dynamite review for Wednesday, June fourteenth. It is Flag Day here in the US. Two twenty three. I am the Solemn Monster. It was a crazy episode tonight. There was a lot of different things going on, probably too many things going on.
It was hard to keep up with what was going on. It was one of those manic episodes of Dynamite where they're just moving five million miles a minute and you just gotta pay attention to you just gotta keep track of what's going on. It is interesting to me, and I wanted to mention this off the bat actually broke the news on Monday, because the news broke Monday evening on the Raw Review. I mentioned this, but in the same week that
AW fired Bj Whitmer. For those who don't know, Bj Whitmer, former Ring of Honor tag team shann He's a mainstay for many years in Ring of Honor, but he's been working behind the scenes for AW as a producer and a coach since day one, really, I think since the beginning in twenty nineteen. And he was fired this week after AW investigated a situation that he got himself into where he got arrested on charges and allegations of domestic violence and
burglaries and pretty serious stuff. So they fired him this weekend, in the
same week that they fired Bj Whitmer. We come to find out earlier this evening that apparently and nothing official I think has been mentioned, but apparently it looks like they may have hired Jimmy Jacobs, former also a Ring of Honors star who worked in a backstage capacity a creative role for a number of years in WWE, and you know, ironically enough, ended up losing his job over taking a photo with the members of the Elite outside of a Monday night
raw taping. That was the end of his run in WWE. Evidently he was backstage at the show tonight in DC and he may have signed on with AW to take part on their creative team. Now, of course we have Collision coming up. Things are expanding, Tony Conne is going to need more help, and so Jimmy Jacobs it looks like he's joined the team. But
it's wild to me. And the reason I mentioned this here is because when I think of b J Whitmer, and frankly when I think of Jimmy Jacobs, but more so when I think of b J Whitmer, the first thing I think of is the match that he had with Jimmy Jacobs where he powerbum Jimmy Jacobs off the top rope into the crowd. I was in attendance at
that show. That was my first ever Ring of Honor show, and that's always the spot that I think of when I hear bj Whitmer's name, and so it's just weird to me that in the same week he was fired from this company, the same company appears to have hired Jimmy Jacobs. It's just weird how those things happen sometimes. Let's talk about this Dynamite show here.
Dynamite opened in a big way. It opened with the aw World Championship eliminator match between MJF and Adam Cole. And Adam Cole wins this match, he earns himself a championship match a future championship match with MJF. This was only mjf's third match on Dynamite all year, and his second eliminator match. The first one came at the beginning of the year against Knoskate Takeshta, and then after that he had a tag team match on television in the build up to
Double or Nothing. So we don't get to see MJF in the ring very often on TV. Title or not, it feels like a special occasion when he actually steps into the ring. MJF had Vince was right printed on at least one. I don't know if it was both, but at least one of his elbow pads had the words Vince was right printed on it, which of course is a playoff of last week's promo when he was talking about Adam Cole and Vince was right and you're not, you know, main event world
champion Caliber. So MJF. Early in this match, he teased leaving through the crowd, and he did, in fact, to get into the crowd. He grabbed the bag of popcorn out of somebody's hand. He was spraying popcorn over everybody in the crowd, and then he walked up to one fan and got up in his face, and the fan, of course, was yelling back at him, and MJF was arguing with the fan. He knocked his hat off, but he did more than just knock his hat off.
He knocked his glasses off. It looked like he smacked his kid in the face. And I'm telling you, one of these days is going to end very badly for aw legally, but smacked him in the face, came back over the barricade, cooled off a little bit. MJF targeted Cole's left arm ex Caliber was assuming that he was doing that to soften him up. Of course he's got the salt of the Earth armbars his finished, so MJF got a pump handled cradle slam for a two count. So then he started mocking
Adam Cole. Midway through the match, he was mocking him doing the Shawn Michaels, you know, with the Shawn Michael's double bicep pose that HBK used to do. He went to the corner, he started tuning up the band and when MJF went to deliver the super kick, Adam Cole caught him with a super kick. First, MJF came up bloody from the mouth. Cole went to the ropes. He went for a Panama sunrise. MJF caught him and placed him on the apron, wrenched his arm across the top rope.
A few moments later, MJF got Cole in a tombstone pile driver position on the apron and he delivered a leaping tombstone on the ring aprons, who Adam Cole heading into the commercial break. After a break, Cole caught MJF and a cross face. MJF rolled him into a pin for a two count. Then applied the salt of the earth. Cole rolled out of the hole. He applied an ankle lock. MJF reached for the ropes. Cole, though, pulled him back to the center of the ring. MJF rolled out of
it. He applied a cross face of his zone and an armbar until Adam Cole was able to get to the bottom rope with his foot. Now this point in the match is where things began to heat up. MJF hit the heat seeker. See what I did there? Matches heating up the heat seat and whatever. So he hit the heat seeker. He tried for the pin. Cole kicked out a lot of punishment to the head for a man who with a history of concussions. I guess that was the story they were going
for here. I don't know if the announcers articulated that or not, but so that was part of the story here, targeting the head of Adam Cole. MJF takes coal outside of the lays him across the timekeeper's table. He gets back in the rain. He climbs up to the top rope and MJF just had this crazy look in his eye. His eyes are bugging out of his skull and he's standing on the top rope and he comes flying off with
a diving elbow drop. Now it's not as graceful as Sean Michael's, but it was very shot of Michael's. Ask huge flying elbow drop from MJF puts coal through the table and his elbow came down. The point of his elbow came down across the left arm of Adam Cole that MJF had been working over. So Cole is he's Both men are laid out on the ground for a while. MJF finally gets to his feet and he rolls back into the ring.
Adam Cole is still down on the mat. He's still down on the mat, oh, not on the mat, on the ground rather, and doctor Samson is there and he's checking on him to make sure, you know, is he okay? Does he have a broken arm? What's going on here with Adam Cole? JF tells the referee to begin counting, and Bryce Ramsburg begins to count. So Ramsburg is all the way up to nine and Adam Cole is barely stirring. Now at this point, usually somebody will just
quickly dive into the ring when the referee counts nine. Bryce Ramsburg counts to nine, and he held that nine count for a ten, and an eleven and a twelve. This was the longest nine count that I have ever said. I could have gone and made a sandwich and grabbed a drink and came back to my seat and he still would not have counted ten. So he gave Adam Cole plenty of time to jump back into the ring and kill the count. Cole and MJF. They ended up back out on the apron.
Cole got mjf's arms trapped and he followed through with a straight jacket German supplex that folded up MJF. MJF went out after Cole on the apron after he recovered from that, but he got planted, well, he got planted after that. But in the ring Cole wanted a Panama sunrise. MJF suckered him though to the other side of the ring, hit a double stomp to the injured arm. MJF was barking at the referees, complaining about how slow he counts, and Cole rolled up MJF, who knocked Cole into the referee,
so he got a ref bump. So here comes some fuckery here in this match. MJF sees the referee is down. He immediately bails out to the floor and he goes over to collect his aw World title belt. He brings the belt back inside and he tried the Eddie Guerrero spot, so he throws the title to Adam Cole, who catches it. He drops to the mat, smacks the mat on the way down. Adam Cole is standing there with the championship in his hand. Adam Cole, it's not a dumb person.
And how many times have we seen people try the Eddie Guerrero spot before? Right in a W and WWE it's become a common spot. Adam Cole is standing there, the referee is starting to get up, he's starting to recover, and he's standing there with a championship in his hand instead of throwing it away, So he looks like an absolute moron. It's just totally playing into
exactly what MJF is looking for. Fortunately for Adam Cole, Bryce Remsberg is still a little woozy and as he's about to get to his feet, he ends up back down on the mat. He basically face plants back on the mat and never saw Adam Cole standing there with the big Burberry belt in his hand. Now, look, it was a clever spot, right. MJF looks over, he shocked, he realizes his plan is backfired. It got
a nice reaction. It was a clever spot. But just again, if you just look at it for what it is, and this goes for any baby face in the situation, but especially here where there's so much on the line for him. Right, this is an important match for Adam Cole. He has to win this match if he wants to get a shot at the championship. And he clearly sees what MJF is trying to do. He clearly sees the referee is about to come back to his senses. Why would he
stand there and hold the title. It's one of those little things that just annoyed me. But fortunately for him, like I said, the referee falls back down, so his plan backfired. The fans chanted you fucked up at MJF. Cole then cracks him right in the face with the title and this I liked. This, I actually liked. So finally we have a baby face who does the smart thing and try instead of trying to pretend that he's morally superior referee is down right, this is your opportunity. You're playing ball
with a guy who doesn't play fair. Crack him in the face with the belt. That's what Adam Cole did. Cole then pulled down the kneepad. He lowered the boom, big knee strike right to the back of the head. He covers MJF. Remsburg begins to stir and he starts to count very slowly. This is like an old earl. Hebner count right. He counts one, he counts two. MJF kicks out Cole camp believe so Cole again sets in MJF up for the boom. He's gonna try forward a second time.
As Cole hits the ropes, though, MJF on his knees just falls forward like he's dead to the world, just falls forward and collapse his face down on the map. Cole picks MJF up. He was setting up for something. I don't know if he was going to go for a German soup plex. He basically had like a waist lock on him. And whatever Adam Cole was going to try for. MJF reaches he reaches in front of him. He grabs the referee right so now the referee he takes him him.
He's all distracted and MJF lifts his leg. He delivers a mule kick to Adam Cole right right in the balls. Referee didn't see it. MJF then pulls out the dynamite diamond ring, places the ring on his finger. He was about to drill Cole with it, but the referee caught him. He grabbed MJF by the arm to stop him from hitting Adam Cole. He physically removed the ring from mjf's finger. Right as Adam Cole connected with the super kick hit a Panama Sunrise. MJF basically backflipped out of it. He sold
this. This was like Rock selling the Stunner territory, the way that MJF sold this Panama Sunrise. Cole then lowered the boom again to the back of the head, and it seemed like this was gonna be it. MJF was going to take a loss here on television. He had him dead to rights. He slowly rolls MJF over. He slowly covers him and before the free could count three, they ring the bell. Now, when I first heard the bell ringing. I'm thinking, okay, then there's there's some highed goon,
some stooge that MJF has hired that they're going to reveal. Went over and rang the bell for a distraction. There is no goon, there is no hired gun. Time expired. The time limit expired. Adam Cole sitting there, he has this incredulous look on his face. He can't believe it. But the timekeeper rang the bell because the time expired. There was a thirty minute time limit for this match when Adam Cole made his entrance at the beginning of the show. The show open with Cole making his entrance first.
Justin Roberts made the match announcement and he said that this match had a thirty minute time limit. And I had totally forgotten about it. And you know, again, the people were chanting for Adam Cole. It was very loud in the building. They're playing his music. It was hard to hear Justin Roberts, but he did mention that. And I had completely forgotten about the fact that they had a thirty minute time limb because they never really focused on
it. That was really the only time that it was mentioned. But they did mention, but the people saying, oh, I didn't hear any mention of a time limit, because that's what I thought at first. I went back. They did. They did mention the time limit at the beginning. I just wasn't paying attention when Cole came out, so Cole couldn't believe it. He rolled out to the floor, he grabbed the microphone. He rolled back inside and he kneels down and he is staring at MJF and all he
says to him, he demands five more minutes. Five more minutes is what he wants, and MJF is staring back at him. You knew exactly what he was going to do. Of course. He rolls out of the ring and he heads to the back. As I said at the beginning, this reminded me of one of those old NXT takeover esque main events that we used to get with Adam Cole, only not nearly as many near falls and kicking out a big moved. We had a lot of that in this match.
We had. We had some of that, at least not as much as we saw in some of those takeover matches, but in a good way. It reminded me of some of those classic matches that he had with people like Johnny Gargano and others. This was an excellent match, and I thought the finish was brilliant. I thought that finish was very clever. Here's what it does. Does two things. It protects MJF from taking a loss on television that he should not be taken. MJF is the aw World heavyweight champion.
He should not be losing on television to anybody. Or if he is, then he should be dropping the championship if he gets pinned by somebody on TV. They do these eliminator matches, but I'm not a fan when they do it in situations like this with the world champion. So it spares MJF from having to take a loss, but it also spares Adam Cole from having to
take a loss and thus being eliminated from t contention. Now you have this controversial finish where neither man can claim victory and neither man can claim defeat. Right, we're in the same boat we were in when the match started. But what Adam Cole now can say is I hung with the champion for thirty
minutes. I didn't beat you, but you didn't beat me, So I want a rematch, whether it's another eliminator or it's you know, a championship match, but it protects both men and it gives Adam Cole a reason now to ask for a rematch. So that's why you last week when the match was announced, them thinking of it in terms of all right, who should go over in this match, not even thinking of the fact that maybe they'll do a time limit draw. The thought never even crossed my mind. So
I think it worked perfectly here in this situation. Cole showed that he can go with MJF toe to toe. Really shouldn't need an eliminator now. It should just come down to I'd prove to you that I deserve a shot at the championship, and JF can say no, fuck off, and they can take their time with this now and they can drag it out. Now we
know that MJF is not wrestling Adam Cole at Forbidden Door. We're gonna talk about batting a little bit, So they're not doing a rematch between them at Forbidden Door, and I'm glad they shouldn't be doing a rematch or Forbidden Door. This is a match they can take their time and drag out for a
couple more months. They do this at all in, they do this at all out either of those shows that can be the main event for the AW World title MJF against Adam Cole, either at Wembley or you save it for presumably Chicago in September at all Out, and you could do the rematch there. But I thought what they did here was perfect, and I thought the match was excellent. This was a hot way to open this show. We got our first Cmpunk video since the announcement of his return to AW. He
was walking the streets of what I assume was Chicago. He was under a train, he was I don't know. He was walking in different places. He walked into a gym that had a ring and he was training. Punk said, the only thing certain about him now is that nothing is for certain. How very Roddy Piper esque of him. He said, he's coming back
to AW for the same reasons he came in the first place. He has scores to settle and there are things that are left to do, he said, I won't know what I'm going to do or say until I have that microphone in my hand. I have a lot of things to get off my chest. That's really all this needed to be. This was exactly what this
needed to be. It's the hook that you would hope entices people to tune into that first episode of Collision, which by the way, is coming up on Saturday, or only a few days away from the return of cmpunk. Saturday night, eight pm on TNT, two hours live from the United Center in Chicago. It is the debut of aw Collision, and I will be live on YouTube after Collision is over to review the show, to review the return of cmpunk. So yes, I will be reviewing Collision at least for
this week. I will be reviewing Collision. But again, people, more so, I think even than just seeing cmpunk wrestle in a six man tag or whatever trio's match, people are going to want to hear from Punk. The punk fans are gonna want a live microphone in his hand. They're gonna want Tony Conn to send him out there, let him loose, and let him talk about whatever it is that he wants to get off his chest. That's the hook for this first episode of Collision on Saturday, and that's what
they communicated here in this segment. Now, most people are gonna want to hear him talk about brawl out, and he's not going to do that. Now, maybe he'll tap dance around it, he'll kind of tease it,
but he's not going to talk about brawl out. There's a reason why he is on the Saturday show and the Elite are on the Wednesday show, and there's not going to be any co mingling between them, And unless they're working a program together or they're building to something with them at Wembley, then there's no reason for him to go out there and cut a promo on the Bucks, or cut a promo on Omega, or really refer back to any of
that bullshit that happened behind the scenes. Might he refer to stuff that happened it all out when he won the championship and he got hurt and the media scrum. As far as how he acted, I don't know. Maybe,
but supposedly NDA's were signed non disparaged clauses. Anybody expecting that he's going to go out there and shoot on the Elite, you were setting yourself up for disappointment and there are going to be a lot of very disappointed fans because you had Punk in this segment here in this video talking about there are scores to be settled. I'm coming back to AW because there are scores to be settled.
So naturally you're going to have people, maybe even the people who aren't online all the time, like you and me, who might be thinking, oh, he's going to talk about what happened. I think that's gonna probably leave a lot of people very dissatisfied on Saturday night. But it is the smart thing to do if they want to maximize their audience for that first show. So I thought that was exactly what it needed to be. Keep it vague, but let people know this guy at eight o'clock on Saturday, he's
gonna have a live mic in his hand. We don't know what he's gonna say. Rene Piquette was in the ring to introduce Sammy Gavar, the new baby faced Sammy Gavar who's having a baby girl. He and Time Mellow were having their first child, and he talked about experiencing the highest of highs and the lowest of lows. He and his wife are having a baby girl. That's the high, he said. The low is coming so close at double or nothing to winning the AW World Championship and falling just a little bit short.
He said, next time, he would have his wife by his side, his baby in one arm, and he would have the AW World Championship on the other. And that got what I would describe as a luke warm reaction, because it's either because people just don't buy him as being an AW World Champion, or they just don't buy the fact that he actually is going to win the AW World Championship anytime soon, which I think is a fair thing to assume. But first he said, he has some changes to make,
and I'm glad they addressed this. This was the elephant in the room. It's been six weeks or whatever, it's been of no reference to him in the Jericho Appreciation Society, even though Sammy has always threw all of this through all the build up to Double or Nothing and everything. He never left, He was never kicked out, but it was just sort of dropped and there was no mention of whether or not he was still part of the JAS.
It was almost like it was forgotten about. Even coming out of Double or Nothing, There's been no mention of it, so it had to be addressed at some point. They addressed it here before he could say what those changes were. That he was referring to Darby. Allen interrupted and Darby made his way down to the ring. He congratulated Sammy on the new baby and it sounded like, he said, it sounded like people are starting to love
him, and he got some cheers for that. When Darby said that, he asked Sammy if he would stand on his own or if he would continue to live in the shadows of the Jericho Appreciation Society. Right on QE, we heard Judas and Chris Jericho walked to the ring with his baseball bat. Jericho barked at Darby a little bit. Then he took issue with Sammy not calling him once. He said, in the entire month leading up to double or nothing in your Big four Pillars match, not one time did you come
to me for advice. Not one time did you call me? He goes, had you done so? You very well? Maybe standing here right now is the aw World Heavyweight Champion. So Sammy said that he wondered why Jericho didn't call him, and maybe had he done so, he wouldn't have lost Adam Cole twice. Jericho didn't like that, said that he would give Sammy a chance to apologize to him. And Sammy said, I'm not apologizing for
shit. Jericho said Gavara needs to remember who his boss really is, and Darby stepped in and told Jericho, you call yourself a wizard right, said no, when you step into the ring though, the magic is gone. Jericho said that maybe he and Sammy should reunite La Secott What is it la Sex Gods? Is that what they call themselves? Or l L Sex what do they call themselves? Whatever they call themselves, Maybe he and Sammy should
get together two on one and beat the crap out of Darby. But then Darby said, well, I'm not really alone, and then we heard Sting's theme music. Tony Schavanni was losing his mind on commentary. By the way, the only thing we know right now so far about the aw Collision announced team is that Tony Shavanni is going to be part of that team. He may mentioned that the other day. I don't remember where it was, but he mentioned something about how excited he was to be a part of the Collision
team. So unless he's a backstage correspondent or something, it sounds like Tony will be on the ANOPP. My guess is it's going to be the same fucking people. They're gonna have ex caliber, probably as the lead play by play guys, if he's not already all over all these shows. So we don't know for sure, but we know that Tony will be part of the team. But here comes Sting to the ring, and Sting has a baseball bat of his own, and he climbs into the ring and we got the
first time ever confrontation. It's hard to believe as long as these two have been doing this for and they were in the same company at the same time back in WCW. But you know, they never worked together because Sting was here and Jericho was down here. Even Goldberg didn't want to work with Jericho. And then in WWE, I guess which it was Jericho there in twenty fifteen or was that during one of his breaks. I don't remember, but
it's like two ships passing in the night. These two have never work together. So for the first time we got face to face in the middle of the rings Sting and Chris Jericho, each of them with a baseball bat in their hand. Maybe they can play for the Mets. We can use all the help we can get. Right now, Jericho stuck his bat in Sting's face, and Sting did the same to Jericho. They smacked each other's bats
just to show that these were real bats. They made the loud clinking noise when they struck each other's bats, and Jericho left the ring at that point. So this was a tease. I'm sure this was not just a fun little thing to do. This was a tease for something. The question is what and when are we going to get a one on one match between Sting and Chris Jericho. My guess is no. Sting has been pretty adamant about not doing singles matches, and for the most part, I'm trying to remember
the last time that he even had a singles match, right. For the most part, when we see Sting, it's either in a tag team match with Darby or like we had tonight, it says trio's match. It's an eight man tag and it's smart because Sting is sixty four years old at the end of the days. As good as Sting looks for a professional wrestler in his mid sixties, there are people in their fifties who can barely move, and the face paint helps. It helps hide the age a little bit.
The hair doesn't, but the face paint does. I could totally understand why Sting would feel that way. Sting is months away if he stays true to his word that this is his final year, because it's his last year on his AW contract. We are in the final months of Sting's career. He is in the twilight of his career. And if he feels like he doesn't want to embarrass himself or he may not have the stamina to do a full singles match and it's better to hide his weaknesses in a tag team match,
I agree. If Sting is going to wrestle tag matches of the way to go. So then are we looking at Sting and Darby Allen against Christian Jericho and a partner? Are we looking at Stinging Darby against Jericho and Sammy Gavarre? Is that the match? And if so, when do they do that? We don't know wen Sting is actually going to have that final match.
We don't know if it's going to be Wembley Stadium, which would seem like a pretty damn good place for it to be in front of a big crowd like that, right, seventy thousand people for Sting to go out there and have his final match. So we don't know, but if I had to venture a guess, I would say I would say Sting and Darby against Jericho and Sammy would be a pretty good guess. And Sammy is apparently on his
way out. It would seem of the Jericho appreciation society, so they may be going back to babyface Sammy. They're going to use this announcement of him having a kid to babyface him. And look the crowd tonight. They didn't shoot all over him, Like I said, they were luke warm when he teased the idea of winning the aw World title, but it's not like they were hating on the guy. So maybe maybe this time round it'll work.
I guess we'll find out, but it would look it was cool to see Sting and Jericho in the ring together, just doing the little face to face that they did, just because it's something we've never seen before. I don't need to see an extended program between them. But if they wanted to do a tag team match, I'm cool with that. I'm all right with that as a one time attraction. I think that's fine. I'll be honest with you. I'm shocked at after all the four years it's taken this long to
get Jericho in the ring with Sting. That Jericho did a lobby for the sooner, I would imagine he wants he would love to work with Sting. You know, he's kind of k faved in interviews or on Twitter when he's been asked he says like, no, I don't want to work with Sting. I don't want to work with the old guys. But I'm sure he wants to work with I'm sure Jericho has pitched the idea of working with Sting
at least once before Sting calls it wits. So after a break, we had a video featuring the IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Snata, who I have to say. You know Snata now that he has shaved that rats nest off of his face. I don't know what he was thinking with that look, but he shaved that rats nest off his face. He comes out there in the suits and everything, he looks like it. He looks like a world champion.
I'm glad to see that Senata finally made it. Now the question is how long does he hold the title for and do they trust him to be the champion going into the main event of the Tokyo Dome next year. I'm not convinced of that. I don't know he's going into Wrestle Kingdom with that title, but he certainly looks the part. So we come to Sonata and he threw out an open challenge to any member of the AW roster for a title match at Forbidden Door, and all I could do is sit here.
It's like it's like parody at this point. I was just sitting here on Monday night talking about the open challenge that seth Rawlins has now issued for his World Heavyweight Championship on raw. Why do we need an open challenge for a world championship? We have enough open challenges for all these other titles. We've had US title open challenges, We've had TNT title open challenges, We've had AW TBS Championship open challenges every week in both companies, so many open challenges
that can't even keep tracked. Do we really need to be doing this with a World heavyweight Championship? Right? I was just talking about this on Monday. In the same week, forty eight hours later, we have the IWGP Heavyweight Championship being put on the line in an open challenge. I don't know. I don't know, but you know what, at least this is a one time thing. With Rollins, it sounds like this is going to be a regular, reoccurring gimmick, the open challenge. Though with Sonata it's the
Forbidden Doors show. It's a one time special thing. I'll give him a pass. I just couldn't believe that within a forty eight hour period we have two different open challenges for the world Championship. Anyway, later in the show we got our answer, we don't have to wait until Forbidden Door. I thought maybe they were gonna wait until Forbidden Door and somebody was going to come
out as a surprise. We didn't have to wait very long to find out who accepted the open challenge because we went to the back and Renee was with Jungle Boy and Hook, and Jungle Boy officially accepted Sonata's open challenge. So it will be Jungle Boy challenging Sonata for the IWGP World Haveayweight Championship in Toronto
at Forbidden Door. Jungle Boy called Hook his best friend and he asked Hook if he would be in his corner that night at Forbidden Door to watch his back and Hook stared at him and he gave him a fist bump in agreement. So the heel turn is coming. Oh yes, And Jungle Boy he was laying it on a little thick here when he was talking about Hook and being his friend and everything. He was laying it on a little thick So the heel turn is coming. The only question left is how does it go
down? How does it go down? Does Jungle Boy lose and then just snap, does Jungle Boy asked Hook for help during the match and it backfires or Hook says no and Jungle Boy loses, and then of course that's the impetus for him to turn on his best friend. I don't know, but it's coming, and honestly, it's something that's needed. Jungle Boy needs to try something different. I don't know how good of a heel he's going to be. I don't know if he has it in him to come out there
on television and cut that really good heel promo. But the only way to find out is to do it. Because he's been doing the baby faced Jungle Boy Tarzan shit now for four years and he just allen for the World Championship in Las Vegas. He did not win. Where does he go from here? If not a heel turn, where does he go from here? I mean, I guess supposed he could always challenge for something like the TNT title, not while Wardlow is the champion, though he'll turn is coming. I
mentioned Sting. Sting was out here next with Darby Allen, Orange Cassidy and Keith Lee to take on Swerve Strickland, Brian Cage and the Gates of Agony eighth Man tag team match. Yeah, Nick, Hey, Hollywood Jack Perry have talked about this, Hollywood Jack Perry with Anna j It's like it's like Heel Montez Ford with Bianca Belair. At some point it has to happen, and when it happens, it's money. Now. I have no doubt that Montez and Bianca could pull it off. Jungle Boy, the jury is out
whether or not he can make that work. But Hollywood Jack Perry, I think, is what we're gonna end up getting. By the way, if you're filtering on in, feel free to go ahead and hit that leg button and perhaps we will do some be the booker a little bit later on here in the stream just cracked the three hundred like mark. So I appreciate that hit that thumbs up. Dustin Rhodes came out with Keith Lee. He was not part of this match, but he's buddies with Keith Lee now, so
he was in his corner. Brian Cage was out here wearing the old surfer sting gear. You had the surfer stink tights. He had the surface stink colored face paint on. We briefly early in this match, we briefly saw the word no. I don't know how many of you noticed this. It was very quick, but the word no in black lettering was just right there on the middle of the screen and then it disappeared. So my guess is it was some sort of production snaffoo. Is my guest as to what that
was. But again it disappeared. It was never mentioned. I don't know that it's a bray Wyatt type teas for some new wrestler coming in called no. But it was just one of those weird things that I noticed. So we got about thirty seconds of action before they cut to the picture. In picture, Keith Lee made the hot tag, he ran wild. He finally was able to get his hands on Swerve Strickland. How long have these two
been feuding for with that an actual match, My god. He finally got his hands on Swerve until Brian Cage cut off Lee in the corner the Gates of Agony and Brian Cage got Keith Lee up at a power bomb position, which is no small feet. Swerve headed to the top rope. He flipped off Keith Lee and then he came off the top with a Swerve stomp to Lee. They had Lee beat until Cassidy came over and broke up the cover Orange. Cassidy hit a DDT on Swerve. Cage, though answered with an
F five. Everybody took turns hitting big moves. Sting came in and there was one awkward spot where Sting he was in there with one of the Gates of Agony and he had Irish whipped into the corner by one of them, and he never hit the corner. He stumbled. It looked like they weren't on the same page as far as the spot goes, and so he went to go Irish whip Sting and Sting said, okay, well, I guess I'm already in midmotion. I'll go anyway. But he never hit the corner.
He kind of hit the ropes and he got splashed in the rope, so this was a little a little wonky here. Sting, though he did recover in time for the finish. As Brian Cage tried at F five on Sting, Orange Cassidy caught Cage with an orange punch. Sting fell backwards onto his feet. He had Brian Cage in position for a scorpion death drop, he dropped him, he pinned him, and Sting wins the match for his team. There's so much going on here. I mean, this was all
action, but what we got here was fun. Again. I still can't believe we have not gotten the singles match between Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland. I don't know if we're ever going to get it, frankly, but we got a little bit of interaction with them here in this match. As far as Sting, I always say it, we don't get to see him very often on TV prior to this. I don't remember when the last match was that he had on Dynamite. It's been a while and we know that his
time in the ring is coming up soon. So every time we get to see Sting in a match like this, it could be his last. So I just enjoy for what it is because I know we don't have too many of these left. And even though he was a little wonky on that one spot, everything else he did look fine. And I always enjoy seeing Sting out there doing his thing. Renee was backstage with the Guns Austin and Colton, and she wanted to know about their relationship with Bullet Club Gold the way
that the show ended last week. Are they or are they not members of Bullet Club Gold? They played Coy. We still have no idea if they're actually part of that crew, but they said that they are the best brother tag team in aw and they challenged the Hardy Boys to a match. Next week, we had Wardlow against Jake Hagar. This was for the TNT Championship. I feel like these two have been engaged in a feud off and on for like three years now. Hopefully this was the blowoff to their little feud.
Hagar ran out. He attacked Wardlow from behind during his entrance and he was in control for all of thirty seconds before Wardlow started dishing out some clotheslines. Later in the match, Wardlow missed a corner charge and Hagar slapped the ankle lock on him. Wardlow rolled through. He connected with a spinebuster as he went for a power bomb, though Angelo Parker and Matt Manard came to ringside. Hagar then shot block Wardlow in the aisle. Arn Anderson was about
to pull out the finger guns. He was about to go all armed andre in on Parker and Menard until his son, brock Brock Anderson came up from behind them and attacked, and so Brock and Arn fought them to the back, so they went off in the ring Wardlow. The straps came down and Wardlow hit the power bomb symphony to retain the TNT title. Now, it would not be another week of aw Dynavite without having some sort of audio issues. So at this point we look up at the big screen. Wardlow looks
up at the big screen and he sees Christian Cage and Lucasaurs. The only problem is we can't hear a fucking thing that they're saying, and neither can anybody in the arena, and Wardlow can't hear them. So Wardlow kind of laughs, he doesn't know what to do, and he's kind of going like, yeah, I can't hear him. So finally they got the audio. I just don't understand it. I just don't know what it is. I don't know what it is. Look, WWE will occasionally have technically she too.
I mean, nobody is immune to technical issues. I'm not immune to technical issues. And I gotta be careful here because usually when I start talking about aw's audio issues, my microphone goes out. Something weird will happen here, so something will break, So I have to be careful here. But what is it about this company? I don't understand. I don't get They
have some very talented people working on their production team. They even brought in a former vice president from WWE, Mike man Surrey, to come work on their production team. He has not done anything to fix these audio issues. Why are there always audio issues on this show? I just don't I will never understand it. They finally got the audio working though about halfway through whatever
it was that Christian was saying. He said that on Saturday on Collision, Wardlow will challenge Lucasaurus and he will put his TNT championship on the line, and Christian Cage asked what will happen when wardlow new Daddy won't be there to save him? And at that point, we got a shot in the back of Lucasaurus holding a bloody arn Anderson. He was bleeding from the head, sitting on the steps. It looked like it looked like the steps from when
you come to the backstage area you come down. He was sitting on the steps. Arne was all bloody. Boy. They must have caught Arned literally as he was coming down the steps. He was out there, he went to the back, and then not two minutes later, he's already a bloody mess in the back. So that was awfully quick and wardlow. As soon as he saw Arnold bloody, he sprinted to the back. So we're gonna
get a t NT championship match on TNT. It's actually quite appropriate. They're gonna get a TNT title match on the actual network coming up on Saturday. As far as the match itself, I mean to look at a Jake Hager match. I don't really care. I don't care. This was a warm up win for the match with Lucasaurus on Saturday. That's all this was. Today's episode is sponsored by Better Help. One thing many of us can relate to is that feeling of always being too busy and there never being enough hours
in the day. You know, I find myself focused on my work more than myself a lot of the time. Maybe this is why Tony Kahn hasn't reached out to start him until now. That's better Help Help dot Com slash Salom Monster. So then we had another Forbidden Door update. We cut to a video of Hiroshi Tanahashi, the ace of New Japan Pro Wrestling, who said, as long as MJF is the AW World Champion, that title will not shine the way that it should. He said that he came so close to beating John Moxley at Forbidden Door last year to become the AW World Champion, and he issued a challenge to MJF. Tanahashi is the one that I was saying for weeks would make the most
sense. If MJF was going to work this show, what New Japan talent would he wrestle? Okada is accounted for Ospreys a heel, but he's already accounted for, So you have Nighto, you have Shingo, you have Toriano Mudura. Suzukia is not officially a New Japan Star, but you could always do Murder Grandpa against MJF. You know, there's other people, but like who would really make sense? Tanahashi would make sense. MJF is always putting
down New Japan. He put him down again here on this show. Tanahashi, he may be older, he may not be the top star there anymore, but he's kind of the heart and soul of that company and if somebody is trashing New Japan, and it would make sense that he would be the one to kind of plant their flag in the ground and represent the company. So makes total sense that he would issue a challenge. MJF. Renee approached
MJF after this video air. MJF was in the trainer's room being tended to by a doctor holding his neck, and she informed him that it is is official for Forbidden Door. It will be MJF against Hiroshi Tanahashi. And this was news to MJF. This is the first he was hearing about this, and he declined. He said, yeah, I don't think so he declined the challenge. He called Tanahashi a rando from a Rinky Dink indie fed in Japan. He said that it won't be the first time. He's no show
to match that. Tony Khan booked him for and then he shoot her away, so it is not official. He has said no to the match, but we're gonna get the match. So we are going to get MJF agains Hiroshi Tanahashi, whether Tony Khan just you know, gives him an ultimatum, or if Tanahashi says something that pisses off MJF and he has a change of heart, however they want to approach it. They wouldn't tease the match unless they were going to do it. So that'll be the match of Forbidden Door.
And again it puts off the Adam Cole stuff for later in the summer. There's no reason to rush into it, right, you do it on the very next pay per view or the pay per view that's apparently happening a week later that we know nothing about because Tony Conte still hasn't said a word about about All Out. The only thing we know about all Out is Mega
I think Mega Perek. They're a chief legal counsel there. She did a podcast interview many weeks ago, and it was in that interview that she kind of let it slip that they were going to be coming back to the United States from the UK, and they had another pay per view. Nothing officially has been said about all Out, but it sure sounds like Labor Day weekend they'll be doing all Out. So after a break we had Renee again.
She was very busy on this show. Renee was in the back with the International Champion Orange Cassidy, and she asked Orange Cassidy what the future holds? Cassidy say, well, it's probably gonna work the way that it always works. Somebody walks in and challenges me. Sure enough? Who walks in? Zach Saber Junior, the reigning new Japan television champion. What is up with that belt? What is of it? It's just it's a it's a weird shape, you know, It's just like a square and it's all stiff.
Is that really the best we can do? It's the weird belt? I don't know. We We've had some weird fucking belts that have been the debuting of late I don't know. But anyway, he walks up and he said the idea of being a double champion sounds just marvelous to him. Daniel Garcia walked in. He asked Orange Cassidy where Shabada was. Shabada is the reigning ring of honor Pure Champion. Cassidy said Shabada wasn't here tonight, but he
will be here next week, and he threw out the challenge. The next week it'll be Orange Cassidy and katsi Ori Shambada against Daniel Garcia and Zach Saber Junior. So that match has been made official for Dynamite next Wednesday. Tony Storm one on one with sky Blue for the AW Women's World Championship. Sky Blue one a four way match on Rampage last week to earn the shot here tonight. Sirea apparently refused to show up here in Washington, d C.
They were in DC. This was the birthplace of Dynamite back in October of twenty nineteen, that very first night when they did one point four million viewers. They never did that again. But she didn't want to show up in DC. So in her absence, Ruby Soho came out with Tony Storm and she was holding up a picture of Sirea on a stick. So we had
Sirea on a stick. Psycho when JBL said, that's not staying, that's a picture of stick, Well, it was literally a picture of Sireya that she came out with here sky Blue was super over in DC, and I didn't maybe I missed something they mentioned on commentary. I thought sky Blue was from Chicago. So unless she currently lives in DC, or I was misinformed and she was born there, I don't know. She was super over here in Washington, DC. She even had her mother, Mama Blue was in
the front row when she came out. She went over to her mom and she gave her a big old hug. And as soon as I saw her mom was shown on television, I said angle alert. Didn't take very long to prove me right. Only a couple of minutes here into this match, Ruby and Tony went over to sky blues mom and they spray painted her right in the face. She didn't seem very happy about it. I'm sure she
knew it was coming, but she didn't seem very thrilled about it. So they spray painted this woman right in the face, and sky Blue saw this and she did a dive out to the floor, taking out both women. Later on, Tony used a handful of tights the pull sky Blue to the floor and Ruby passed Tony. The spray paint can very covertly, so Ruby takes the referee right, So now the referee is distracted. But Skyblue had a spray paint can of her own and that the referee didn't see. She's
sprayed Tony in the face. It's got a huge pot. I think there were people in the crowd who, at least for a moment, actually bought into the idea that she might win the championship. Yeah, so she sprayed Tony in the face and then hit the Code Blue. Huge reaction. She's got Tony Storm pin. She's got the visual pin on the aw Women's World champion. But there's no referee. A long pin doesn't mean anything though, because the referee isn't there to count. So Ruby is distracting the referee.
Skyblue gets up, she hits her with a thrust kick right to the face. She charges it Tony Storm though. Tony, though, hangs her up over the top rope and then Storm hits the Storm zero and sky Blue kicks out. But then Tony gets a Texas clover leaf locked on and she's forced to tap out and the match was over. Ruby and Tony they attack sky Blue some more until Willow Nightingale hit the ring to run off the outcasts.
Not once did I actually believe or expect that sky Blue is going to win the championship here in this match, with or without Mama Blue or Mama Green. Now, I guess you would have to call her. So I was pleasantly surprised to see how much the fans were into this match, more way more so than your typical women's match here on Dynamite because they don't give the women's matches as much time, They don't give them as much attention most of
the time. The majority of these matches are shown during the fucking picture and picture break. And sky Blue. You know she's popular, but I mean, I mean, come on, She's not like a top name in the company or anything like that. So it surprised me to hear her get that kind of reaction that she did. And again, maybe there's some sort of hometown thing going on here that I'm not aware of. But it was fun, you know, I thought the match was fun for what it was.
It was fun to see her get that reaction. I thought Skyblue looked goody sky Blue from what I remember her first making an appearance on television, it was like, why do they have this woman on television? She is not ready, She's nowhere near ready to be on TV yet, but she's really improved. She's she's definitely made improvements from the sky Blue that I remember even a year ago, so that's a positive. The one thing I really didn't like was, you know, kicking out of the Storm zero, not using
the Storm zero as a finish. You know that you're going to hit that move. That move should be used as a finish if she's in there with somebody like Jamie Hayter and you want Jamie Hayter to kick out a big pay per view match. Okay, I get that sky Blue should not be kicking out of the Storm zero, but you know that's wrestling these days, right, That's It's just an epidemic in wrestling. It's not just limited to this company. Everybody kicking out of every but he's finished. We closed with the
Blackpool Combat Club. It was John Moxley, Claudio Castignoli, and Wheeler Uta taking on the Young Bucks and Hangman Adam Page. When they opened with MJF and Cole at the beginning of the show instead of saving it for the main event, I figured that meant this was the night that Kenny Omega was coming
back, and that's exactly what happened here. I knew there had to be some kind of a big angle save for the end of the show, because otherwise it really didn't make sense to not save that match for the end. But it became pretty clear at the end why they did it the way that they did. Brian Danielson joined on commentary. Young Bucks came out during their entrance. They were dressed like cowboys, so we had three cowboys here on the baby face side. All six men started brawling early. The Elite hit
triple superkicks that sent the BCC outside. Matt Jackson laid out Uta with a power bomb on the edge of the april. Nick Jackson and Hangman Page each took out Moxley and Claudio with dives. A little bit later on, Matt did his locomotion Northern lightsup plexes on Utah. Moxley and Claudio connected with the doomsday device on Matt Jackson. After that, Moxley sank in a rear naked
choke, but Nick hit a swanton bomb to break it up. Claudio no sold the Superkicky flattened Matt, leading to a rocket launcher attempt by Utah, but Matt got the knees up. Superkick party commenced. Hangman Page makes the tag. He lays out Uta with a pop up power bomb. The bucks hit the BTE trigger and Hangman finishes off Utah with a Buckshot lariat for the wind. But this was not over Claudio Moxley they attack. After the match
is over. Moxley launches Nick Jackson over the barricade. All of a sudden, Eddie Kingston's music. Kids. We have not seen Eddie in a few months. He had hernia surgery and he's been banished to Detention otherwise known as Ring of Honor. So this is his first time. I'm dynamite in a very long time. Down comes Eddie Kingston. He runs to the ring. Well I'm being generous when I say run, but he ran to the ring. He double legged Claudia. Of course, He and Claudio no love lost
there. Judah was dispatched as well until John Moxley and Eddie Kingston came face to face. Now we know the history between these two men. They used to be best friends. They used to be tag team partners. Moxley would not strike him and Kingston would not strike Moxley. They did not hit each other the Bucks attacked Moxley and Kenoskate. Takeshta at that point hit the ring. He attacked Eddie Kingston. This led to the return of Kenny Omega.
With two minutes left in the show or thereabouts, Omega hit the ring. He brawled with Takeshta, who got planted with a snap dragon. The Bucks and Page took out the Blackpool Combat Club with triple dives right as Omega was hitting a v trigger to cash it in the ropes. Who should show up behind Kenny Omega out from the crowd in his street clothes, Will Osprey, the man who will challenge him for the IWGP United States Championship. At forbidden
Door, Osprey wipes out Omega gets holy shit chance from the crowd. Osprey clabbers Omega with a hidden blade, stands tall over his body. Brian Danielson on commentary, They flash back to him and he had this great smirk on his face. He even stood up from the announced desk and walked onto the stage to a plug this man. He gave him a little one man standing ovation. I was half expecting Ocatta's music to hit he would come out.
I don't know that they're going to do anything with Brian Danielson before Forbidden Door. I don't think they want him getting physical at all before this pay per view because they don't want to take any chances. And you know what, I don't want them to take any chances. I don't want anything to happen that might jeopardize that match with Danielson and Okada. Nothing. He shouldn't do anything. He should do commentary. That's about all he should be doing.
So he looked very happy, looked very pleased with this turn of events. Here Osprey connected with the storm Breaker. He did hit one final hidden blade to the back of Omega's head and left him laying as the show came to a close. Now, will Osprey is going to be wrestling on Rampage this Friday night. They did not say against who. They just said that he
will be wrestling on Rampage. And I know this because ex Caliber was rushing through the announcements at the end of the show, and at different points in the show they had ex Caliber doing just his speed reading through everything. He was stumbling over his words. He fucked up at one point they put the wrong graphic on the screw, which is not his fault, but they put the wrong graphic on the screen. He was reading a different match, and then he had a stop and say, oh, like this poor fucking guy,
Like, I don't I don't understand it. I just don't understand why they insist on having him do that. So some of the announcements they made it was I had to go back and rewind and rewatch it again. But he did stick that in there at the very end he goes out. Was just informed by Tony Kahn. I'm hearing in my ear that Tony Kahn said that will Osprey is gonna be wrestling on Rampage on Friday. So a wild finish, a wild finish to a wild show. They started hot with Cole
and MJF and an excellent match. They ended hot, you know, fun main event. I didn't enjoy it as much as I did the opener, But there's a lot going on. It was really all about the post match and the Big Kenny Omega returned, the will Osprey surprise appearance, Eddie Kingston was thrown in there again. There was just so much going on, like they need to just slow it down sometimes, Like, okay, I was expecting Omega and Osprey attacking him. Makes sense because it builds to their match.
But you know, Eddie Kingston's out there, Why is he out there? What's his involvement going to be in all this? You know? Might they do something with him and Moxley at Forbidden Door. Maybe there'll be a match between them. Who knows what. We'll have to wait and see. But there was a lot going on on the show tonight. The key things obviously were what happened to the opener and now we wait to see what that
means for the future with MJF and Adam Cole. But Forbidden Doors coming up, and now we know that we're getting an IWGP Championship match with Jungle Boy in Sonata. We know also that Tanahashi, even though MJF said no, they'll be wrestling MJF on that show. So you look at the card. You have those two matches plus the two that we're already announced, and just you know, those four matches alone, the card is filling out nicely.
You know, we still have two weeks left to make announcements about where everybody else is going to fit into things. Stinging Jericho, that's going to be something to keep an eye on as far as what match is going to be, probably a tag match, maybe at Forbidden Door. So it was a fun show tonight, very eventful episode of Dynamite. But now All Roads leads to Saturday Night because Saturday Night is the first episode of aw Collision. It
is on TNT eight o'clock Eastern time. Cmpunk is back. You'll be tagging with FTR to take on Samoa, Joe Jay White and Juice Robinson. We know Wardlow will be defending the TNT Championship against Lucasaurus. We will also have the return of Miro. We don't know exactly what he'll be doing or who he will be wrestling, but Miro will be on the show, Andrade l Dlo is back. He's going one on one with Buddy Matthews of the House of Black. And it will be Tony Storm and Ruby Soho taking on Willow
Nightingale and sky Blue. So again, there's no hard brand split here for Collision. Tony Khan has said there's no hard brand split. They will use people on both shows as they see fit, but it's pretty clear people like Punk and probably some others like Miro and maybe Andrada will pretty much be exclusive
to the Saturday show. It's been said that when Punk is needed on Dynamite on weeks maybe where the Elite is not there, we still might see Punk pop up on the Wednesday show every now and then, but pretty much the Saturday show is going to be the cmpunk show. That will be his playground,
that's where he will have creative control. Him and a Steel are going to be working together, even though A Steel will not physically be there with him every week, and he'll have a chance to work with the people he wants to work with. He'll have a chance to work with Samoa Joe, He'll have a chance to work with Jay White and Bullet Club Gold, and we'll see who else they decide to put him in the rain with. We'll see if he has a matchup Forbidden Door. Yeah, there's been a lot
of talk about doing Punk and Kenta right. Kent at one point was lobbying for it on social media. I don't know that cmpunk will even have a
matchup Forbidden Door. It would be weird for him not to, given that he's back and you want to load up that show, But I'm not even convinced that he will end up having a match on that Forbidden Door show, Kenta would seem to be the likely opponent though if he did, But Saturday feels to me it is in some ways it's the return to the old era, but it's it feels like the start of a new era, and it's an error that frankly, we don't know where things are going to go.
This has been building for many, many months, and the fact that we still have no resolution between the parties that were involved in the brawl out stuff makes this a very combustible situation for Tony Khan. It's as if he has to, you know, tap dance through the land mine, so to speak,
because he is effectively dividing his rosters. He's keeping Punk separate from the elite, and that might work for a while, but at some point, you know, they're going to share a locker room, maybe early as Forbidden Door, they're gonna share a locker room for the pay per views, right, they'll all be at Wembley Stadium. I'm sure it all in, They'll all be it all out. They're gonna be around each other at some point. And I just think that I know why he's doing it. He needs
this show to be a success. He feels he needs cmpunk to help sell tickets. Punk has helped move tickets for the Chicago show this weekend. Punk has not made any difference so far, seemingly as far as the Canadian shows. You can't put that all on him, but she would hope that announcing him for those shows would help spike things a little bit, and it has it. We'll see if that changes when they could come back to the US. They have that show in Newark later in July, after the Canadian tour
is done. Tony con made a calculation that I need cm punk because we need this Saturday show to be a success. This Saturday show was something that was asked for by David Zat. He is the head of Warner Brothers Discovery. This is not some lower level person who said that, oh, you know what, we want more wrestling on our networks. This isn't the head of the network all the networks, I want two hours of aw on Saturday nights. Tony kNN said sure, he wants this show to be a success.
Cmpunk is still a name. Cmpunk can still be a draw. He can still be a needle mover for the company. Is he going to be as much of one as he was a year ago. I don't know. The bloom maybe off that rose. You know, they have eight thousand people so far for the United Center on Saturday. They had fifteen thousand for Punk's return two years ago. Times have changed. People got a taste of cmpunk.
Some people want him back, a lot of people don't. But starting Saturday, he's back, for better or worse, and we're going to see how Tony Con navigates this. Now, you can keep the party separate, and he can keep the peace. And I see him punk and behave himself. And even if he gets pissed off at something or pissed off at someone, if it leads to some other blow up down the line, it's certainly possible. That's the risk that Tony Con runs. So we'll find out.
But I will be live after that first episode on Saturday night, right back here on YouTube. In fact, that's the next time that I will be lied with you. There will be no SmackDown stream because I will not be here on Friday. We have the House of Glory Show, a pretty big show coming up on Friday night. But let's take a look at the Twitter poll here an overwhelmingly positive score. Look at this. Holy shit, this
is the best Dynamite score in months. Eighty nine percent thumbs up, only eleven percent thumbs down, with about eleven hundred votes in so far, already in less than two hours at solomn Monster, what did you think of AW DOWNA How would you grade aw Dynamite for tonight? I want to hear from you guys here too, in the chat, in the super chats. Let me know, let me know what you thought of the show. I thought. I thought overall it was an excellent show tonight. A little too manic,
but that sort of is the story of Dynamite on most weeks. Honestly, That's how I felt about watching that nx T show on Tuesday. They had way too much shit going on. That show on Tuesday was, maybe in the worst way, a little similar to some of these AW shows in terms of the sheer amount of shit that they've tried to fit in on that show. I always say less is more, less is more. Let's see brother Fluff Salisbury drop it a ten dollars super chat. Hey, Fluff,
I hope you're feeling awfully fluffy tonight. I don't know. I don't know. That's the first thing that came to mind. I hope that Fluff is feeling fluffy. Just want to shout out Fluff Junior for making the Dean's List for the third time, and my girl for getting me aw tickets for Dynamite on August second in Tampa. That is a winner, right, better hold on to her. And congratulations the Fluff Junior for making the Dean's List.
It's very cool. Brian Anthony rivers at the show. So here's five dollars all right, there you go. See, instead of buying a pretzel or a coach, he decided to contribute to the SoundOff fun. I like the Lady Fire Panda with the twenty one dollars super chat. I think the recent dark Side of the Ring videos have proven that Solo Monster is a professional Sonny hater. You don't even treat punk this bad leaves Sonny alone. It's not like she killed anyone eats. Yeah, yeah, it's not like she ever
heard anybody. Hey yah, Chi Ruth, thank you man, thank you for the kind words. Old dirty sausage, holy smokes all time episode of Dynamite. Imagine if we get Collision and Dynamites like this every week. I feel bad for the people picking sides Link lex seven past couple of months got me wondering, was Anna Jay actually better off in the Dark Order than she was following Timellow into the JAS. Yes. I don't know how anybody could
say otherwise. What has she done in the Jericho Appreciations? What exactly has Anna Ja done that you would consider to be better than what she was doing when she was in the Dark One. I mean she I almost forget half the time that she's even part of the faction. That's why I say, when Jungle Boy goes heal, and we know they're an item in real life, when Jungle Boy goes heal, link the two of them up. Get her out of that group. She serves no purpose in the Jericho Appreciation Society.
Get her out and link her up on camera with Jungle Boy. Let him go out there, Hollywood. Jack Perry, he's got the hair, he's got the girl right, he'll piss everybody off. Josh Carlos ninety eight. You see the look Brian gave to ospring Man that potential match. Hopefully it happens down the line, that would be a hell of a match. Jared Collision is two hours. They have two hours on Wednesdays. Now they
have two hours on set and sunned. I've got a lot of things to get off my chests and see him punk foreshadowing a pectorial tear as his death as his next injury. Well played. Well, let's see. It's been a broken foot, it's been a torn triceps. You may be right, you may be right. Either a peck, It could be a p tear, it could be a collarbone injury that I'm wishing that upon anybody but m Son. Thank you. Drew Johnson with a fifty dollars goonthar superchat, says
I'm back to Baybay. Thank you for everything that you do. Thank you. Drew. Wouldn't be the same without you. Brother. We got Drew Johnson here, we got Drew Russell in the chat he Drew, how came and Drew Russell? How come I don't see a badge next to your name? How come everybody all these other green names and Drew Drew's all gray? What's that about? Paul Carpenter with the five dollars super chat that mjf elbow dropped through the table should have went to Adam Cole Agree or disagree something?
Baby Faces should have done. Yeah, I mean it's a baby face move. Although Logan Paul does the same thing in WWE. Logan Paul is not exactly a baby face, and he's usually doing those diving elbows off the top rope, but it is it is typically a baby face. It should be reserved for baby faces. I agree. Ross Lawman been gifted a membership thanks to Bobby's World All pressure on Solom Monster now a fan of time limits now
after hating there for so long, being raised on WWA. Yeah, you know, in WWA, unless it was like an iron Man match or something, you just they didn't do the time limit raw stuff. And again, I feel like that was a Southern wrestling back. Maybe I just I grew up in the wrong part of the country because I like a lot of the old school Southern wrastling type stuff. We were just talking about this when I was reviewing the magnet Ta episode of Dark Side of the Ring and talking about
the years that fans would throw trash in the ring in WCW. But you know, like in the NWA, it was it was something that you heard about more often, and Vince just he wasn't a fan of time I'm limits they would announce the time limit at the beginning of a match, but you know, it was rarely anything that was really focused on. Hey, Kevin Jordan just upgraded to a sound of legend tier membership. Kevin Jordan, thank you very much. Roscoe Pete Coltrey with a two dollars super chat, Thank
you, Roscoe. Drew Johnson with another fifty bomb. HBK is the goat that mjf elbow drop was fire. I knew you'd like that. Daniel Cabeza outside of Macho Man, Randy Savage. What are the best feuds from Jake the Snake Roberts that made you a fan of him? The feud with ravishing Rick Rude was a favorite of mine, especially when they got Jake's wife involved. What a great story that is. By the way, Jake was married to Cheryl, they got divorced. It's not hard to understand why, given
the ship that Jake was doing back then. And so all these years go by and Jake actually he cleans himself up the DDP yoga stuff. He's like a new man, and he reunites with Cheryl and they're back together and they might be getting married. I know he's trying to convey. He said he's trying to convince her to get remarried. But it's a it's a cool story, you know. But Jake and Rick rude, Jake and DBAs you know,
they had their magic WrestleMania six. I know not everybody is a fan of this, but I enjoy the blindfold match with Jake and Rick Martell of WrestleMania seven. If you're gonna do a blindfold gimmick, like, that's the way to do. I really like them. So I was a fan of all that stuff, but nothing, nothing more so than the feud, however, brief between him and Randy Savage AJ with the four ninety nine. So Kenta is going to screw over CMFTR Saturday night to set up for Bidden Door
match with punk Am I right, could be? Couldn't be. I'm sure Tony Kan is looking to load that show up as much as possible. A Kenta appearance could be one way to do that. I think we'll certainly be getting more new Japan crossover appearances between now and Forbidden Door. We got unregistered Hypercam. If AW has time limit draws, they wish they would announce every five minutes passed in all matches, similar to New Japan, easy to lose
track of time passed in AW, they didn't. They did have time ques. They're in the match, so you may not have heard it. I heard at least one it was. There was at least one that I heard from Justin Roberts. So they did do time calls, and generally AW does do time calls in their longer matches when they go beyond a certain point, so I know they did at least one during the match tonight. Bobby's World to Ross Lawman, You're very welcome. Yeah, Bobby is one of the
good ones Man, Bobby, Silver Tower, Griega. I know Griega gifted one earlier. You got a lot of very giving people here on these streams. Chris AXC may not be for a while, but who do you think ultimately beats MJF for the championship? Also, which match closes Forbidden Door, Brian Okada or Omega and Ospring. You know, it's it's tough because with Omega and Osprey, you know what you're gonna get and there's a championship on the line. But if it's me, you go with Brian and Oconna.
I know there's no titles on the line, but Brian and Okada is what I would close the show. How are you going? I mean Omega and Osprey at Russell Kingdom was fantastic and I have no doubt they're going to have another fantastic match this month as well. But would you want to go on after Brian Danielson and kazoochko Oconna? I know I wouldn't. First time ever match, that's your main event. Right As far as who beats MJF for the title, it is too early. They could always come back around to
MJF and Ricky Starks. I mean, Ricky is really cooled off recently. I still say Darby. Darby's gonna be at or near the top of that list. It's just a matter of when does he actually drop the belt. The Darby thing with the whole Mount Everest thing is what I think kind of throws the monkey wrenchings and things, because if he's really serious about doing that mountain climb next year, he's gonna be gone for a while. He could
be gone forever depending on how that climb goes. So I would say Darby, but now I'm not so sure, But I think Darby and Ricky Starks have to be at the top of that list. Eric Court says, a nice wrestling talk bro, Thank you, Eric. What we knew here to talk wrestling every week? Turtlehead says Brian and Ocada to jerk the curtain. Can't do that. You can't do that. You're gonna open the show with Ocada and Brian Bobby's World with a fifteen dollars super Chat. Bobby, thank
you. My girlfriend than I have been looking over the budget. It cuts some costs, so I canceled a bunch of stuff so I can get more memberships to the chat. Am I doing it right? You are doing it absolutely the right way. But I like the way Bobby thinks. Bobby, I like the way that you think. They had me going there for a second said where is this going? Where is this super chat going? It went exactly where I was hoping it would. Know. That's the way you
do it. Ross Lawman Sting's final match should be Winter is Coming against MJF and leads to Darby in twenty twenty four going for the title. Not sure Darby wins as it might be too soup Jay Ray with the ten dollars super chats. You guys wanted stories. Tony Kahn is giving you stories you wanted. A banger dynamite with importance in progression, Tony Khan delivered tonight aw will
rule the summer. So let things low and play out. There you go, let it play out, says Jay Ray Nick Grosso with the nineteen ninety nine very good show. The only thing I didn't like was the Tony Storm Sky Blue match. I'm over this outcast crap and it's not doing Tony any good. Way too much cheating, and Jamie Hayter cannot come back fast enough Wembley, Wembley. She's gonna win the championship back at Wembley. It will mean more than her just defending it. Patience, young grasshopper. Jamie will
be getting her belt back. Paul Carpenter, I can see jungle Hook, he said, jungle Book. That's hilarious. That is hilarious. I could see jungle Book doing some type of raven like gimmick. What about me, spoiled rich kid gimmick. The pretended life is all bad, Nick Grosso. I like the idea of a Jericho gavarrefeud. I just hope they don't do a troll job like they did with Daniel Garcia. Also, what are your
thoughts on the rumored Heel turns for Bianca and the street problems. Just a rumor right now, but I've been calling for that for a while, so if they do it, I think it's awesome. I think Heel Bianca and Heel Montese board are a money combo, and I have no doubt that Montes can pull it off. Come it out heal promos and Bianca too. I think they're both going to knock it out of the park, So I hope it happens. Arabian McKnight, Arabian Nights, Arabian Nights. Where the hell
did that come from? Who will be? Oh? I don't think there's a person in the world who exists. I don't think that Arabian and Make Anything don't go together. How did I How did I put those two together? Who will be the one to beat MJF in the fall? I don't see Darby after being pinned a double or nothing. They need to build someone sooner than later. What about Ricky Starks? As I just said, If not Darby, I think Ricky Starks is at the top of that list.
I just gotta heat him back up again. It wouldn't take much. I mean, the people still love him, like, yeah, he's been phased down recently, so you just gotta eat him back up the way things were left with him and MJF the first time again and it was it was unresolved. So you have to come back to MJF and starts at someone. But who's to say in six months that somebody else doesn't get hot? And it
would make more sense for it to be somebody else. You know, It's sad because I would have said that Wardlow would have made the most sense down the road. But Wardlow just is not nearly as over as he was over a year ago. I mean, it's night ay. I don't even think Wardlow's in that conversation. And Wardlow destroyed MJF at double or nothing last year. If anybody can lay claim to wanting a match with MJF, it should be Wardlow. He fucking obliterated him. He did MJF last year what brock
Lesner did to John CeNAT Summer Slim back in twenty fourteen. But I don't see it. Trill Mexican three oh five? Why is Solom monster? Picking on sky Blue and not giving her a chance to win the women's championship. Lol, just joking. Hope you're having a wonderful night here is m Bugs. Thank you, Trill, Trill Mexican. I said, I'm very I'm impressed by sky Blue as far as the improvement that she is shown, she's she's own as a performer. I just don't fully understand why she was as
over tonight. I'm sure there's a reason for it. I just don't know why she was as over as she was. But it made the match a lot more fun because there have been women's matches on the show that Brad couldn't possibly care any less, but they had them. They had them into a big time tonight. Dylan Hensley with a five dollars super chech. Just had my first practice match. I went five minutes with one of the graduates from AAPW. I did well, but I still cannot take a clothes line well.
With practice makes perfect, you'll be taking clothes lines soon enough. You'll probably be taking clothes lines off somebody's shoulders soon enough. Slow and steady, slow and steady. First you had your first match. Soon you'll be having matches multiple times a week. You'll be having tag team matches and then you'll be having mountain dew pitch black matches before you know it, with glow sticks. Zacharia Sitchen, nineteen ninety nine, super Chat, Thank you, Zachariah.
Zachariah says, does this feud finally make Sammy a true baby face? Or no? And funny how back in these days or back in the days, everybody had signs with obscene writing, and it's been replaced with their phones cell phone technology, I guess yeah, And I really hate that. I miss the flashbones that used to go off when people would actually bring their cameras.
We don't get that anymore. Everyone's just holding up their phones. I missed the flash bowes, especially during those big matches like a Wrestlemanian stuff. I just remember I was in Miami. Well, Miami was the first WrestleMania I ever actually went to. That was the first Rock and Sena match, and I just remember the Rock came out and he stood up on the turnbuckle and he did his pose and they cut to ah. I think it was the JIB camera it was. It was coming around, but they showed the
crowd and all you saw in the crowd. Everybody was like this. Everybody everybody had their phones up like this. Like the whole fucking section, the whole crowd had their phones up like this, and they were looking through the phones. They weren't even looking at what was actually in front of them in the ring. They're just they're looking through their phones. It's too bad, man, It's a real shame. Arabian almost almost did it again, Arabian
night. Keith Lee looks like he aged ten years. Yeah, man, Keith Lee, I don't know, it's amazing, just like he just let it go gray and yeah, he looks he looks like twenty years older. He looks like a just he looks like a professor an hour or something. I don't know. Snore Hawks sixty four. You tried the mustard derritos yet No? My gag reflects is kicking and just saying that out loud. Mustard derritos. Why does such a thing exist? There's Orange Cassidy. Look at
this imposter Naughty Delicious chicken with flavor. It's great to see New Japan's showing up tonight on Dynamite. Also, I'm looking forward to watching Collision on Saturday. Well, you better be here with us after ten o'clock on Saturday night. We're gonna be right back here. We will get to talk about that first episode. Turtlehead says, Jake against Ricky Steamboat equals Jake's best view god with the famous DDT on the concrete floor when he almost the killed steamboat.
That was on a Saturday night's main event. We have got oz and glorious. My friends got me a skype call with Sonny as a birthday gag gift years ago. She was my teenage crush. She showed up to the call hammered and topless. I kid you not, that sounds like a typical night for Sonny. Hammered and topless. But how was the rest of the call. He didn't tell me how they how the call went. He says Tony Khan, if you're watching, I will gladly pay a fifty dollars monthly subscription
to not see Daniel garcia A Kaaaw's Disco Inferno on my screen. Now, why would you do? Dangled Garcila all the things to say to somebody that's that's about as low as it goes. He also says twenty four months about twenty four months as a channel member. Right acknowledge my gold logo. Thanks for the two free audible books with the URL redacted code Audible trial dot com slash solom Monzer. That's only, by the way, if you're an Amazon
Prime member. Otherwise you get one free book. But if you sign up with a Trial and you're a Prime member and use my link, you get two free books. A lot of good wrestling books on there too. I'm just saying, you want to get a free book. Ross Lam and Samoa Joe as world champion even short term would be fired, so I'm just happy
we're getting Samoa Joe back on television. Samoa Joe, like Eddie Kinkston, has been banished to Ring of Honor in recent months, banished to the land of the unknown, so it'll be nice to have him back on actual television this week. Trill Mexican with a ten dollars super chat. I was hoping you would have read my sky Blue super Chat in your winny voice then whiney voice since it was a parody of cmpunk. Thanks for reading my chat nonetheless,
and here's another ten bucks. Good nights in solo. Thank you, Trill Mexican. Some might say that this is my whiney voice. The ones who hate me would say that this is my whiney voice. Aaron echoes in the chat, thank you very much, send to you nothing, beloved man. I'm sorry to hear that, but you know the streams are always here for your entertainment, you know that. So happy to have Ed. Swaggle says, ketchup doritos are worse than the mustard one. Why do these things
exist? Ketchup doritos mustard doritos. Soon you're gonna tell me there's a mayonnaise dorito where people put mayo on their doritos. Do you have any members here who have Channel memberships and you have mayo on your doritos. I'm revoking your membership. I don't want you. Juan Ocampo, you'd be I'm gonna get to you in a second, Juan Ocampo, how about Kenny Olivier against Will Ostrich to start the show? I could see that. I could see them
wanting to open with a big match in opening with that. If Brian and o'cado or headlining what they say, it's all about how you start and how you finish, it would be a hell of a way to open and a hell of a way to close. QB. I hope that we get Osprey and Brian against o'cata and Kenny next week on Dynamites. No, No, not gonna happen. Not gonna happen. Brian should not wrestle between now and Forbidden Door. And I'm not sure. Well, I guess o'coda probably is
flying in, but probably flying it at that point. We might get Ocada on TV next week. I just think you're tempting fate if you do that. I don't doubt that it would be a great match. But two things, two things. I don't think that Brian and Ocada should share the ring together until Forbidden Door. Forbidden Doors should be their first time locking up or even just sharing the ring together in a match. But I'm serious, I
don't want anything happening to this guy. Brian's had health issues before last year. It was concussions. It took them out of the show. Take no chance, Naughty, Delicious, Chicken with labor, with Dynamite and collision. All I need from AW is common sense, keep the talent hot, stay disciplined with the booking decisions. OZ and Glorious with a five dollars super chat. They were nice. This was around her Hall of fame, talking about
Sonny. They were nice, This was around her Hall of fame. Slim down, but she was obnoxious as fuck and talked NonStop for twenty minutes about her rich boyfriend taking her on trips. That sounds fucking horrendous. Twenty minutes on Skype listening to Sonny Bitch. It's sad. You know when she was in the Hall of Fame. When they put her in the Hall of Fame, I think it was the same year Seawn Michaelsbo was at twenty eleven. It was either two thousand and nine that she went in or she went into
the same class with Sean in twenty eleven, I'm pretty sure. And they had her on raw it was like raw old school around that time or something. And she looked like the sunny of old She looked like she didn't look like a train wreck. She looked like she had turned back the hands of time and she had gotten her life in order and gotten her act together. And after that it was I mean, you talk about fucking train wreck.
I mean it's like the train went off the tracks, off the side of the mountain and then crashed into the mountain, exploded, and then continued to fall into the ocean. It's an absolute walking disaster. She did go in in twenty eleven. That's what I thought, What are you gonna do? It's sad, but I don't feel sorry for her in the least. She did it to herself. She fucked over so many other people. She killed somebody. Fucker. Fucker. So thank you guys for the super chats.
I hope I answered all your questions to your satisfaction. I appreciate the support. We are now at four twenty. How about that four twenty In terms of the likes, where's our boy? I smoke a lot of weed? I haven't seen him in a while. Where's he at? Oz and glorious with another five dollars super chat though coming in if Jericho is Aw's Hogan, which makes Garcia Aw's disco. He even has the godawful dance. I can't be the only one thinking this. He does do the godawful dance, Ross
says HBK inducted with Sunny Days is jokes. Yeah, they did go in together, didn't they. He's probably too busy smoking a lot of weed. You're probably You're probably right. He might be in a weed coma? Is that a thing? If you have too much of that? Are you get in a weed coma? We haven't seen him in the chat for a while, so I was just wondering where he is. Maybe he's lost and he has no idea where he is. Ross Lawman says HBK, inducted with why
am I repeating the same super chet, I'm losing my mind. You know what I have, Sonny on the mind? Fuck her? All right, let's talk about it. Be the booker, ladies and gentlemen. It is now time to be the booker. Let's be the booker. Let's book ourselves and wrestling matches. You know aw has the forbidden door, so let's swing open the sound off forbidden door. How about that. Let's see where we
end up with our own forbidden door. How about that idea, We're gonna kick things off with William Regal, Mister Regal, it's the first time that we've picked him here and be the booker. I think it might be William Regal one on one. Oh my god, I know that guy. What a match. That's like the mother of all man. You want the greatest match of all time. There it is the Solom Monster making his be the Booker debut. Look how happy he is, the Solom Monster. That's right.
I believe this is the first time that we've landed on the real man's men, and and William Regal as well. Here and be the booker. This is I mean, if this isn't a forbidden doormatch, I don't know what is. I don't know what he's thinks he's gonna stretch me. Fuck that he ain't stretching nobody. I got something for him. I'm the commissioner, don't you forget. I'll turn it into a handicap match. I'll do it. I'll do whatever needs to be Bury him softly, Slom Monster,
I'll bury him softly. There you go. That was a fun night man. That was New Orleans in twenty fourteen. I still have some of that confetti. I saved some of that purple and gold confetti. Anyway. I don't know that there's gonna be any topping this, but I guess we have to book a women's match now. So here we get who said that forbidden
backdoor? The fuck is wrong with you? All right? Here we go on the women's side, we begin with Bianca Belair, former Raw Women's Champion, former SmackDown Women's Champion, Bianca Belair, who in a very short period of time, honestly has put together quite a main roster resume. She's had WrestleMania matches with Sasha Banks, with Becky Lynch, with Osca, and if I were a betan man, I would say that she'll probably end up in
the ring with Charlotte Flair WrestleMania next year. Man be the booker's hot tonight, man be Anca is going to go one on one with China. Bianca Bellair and China, and that would be a battle of power because obviously China was a powerhouse and most of the women that she ended up in the ring with were smaller and weaker than her, so she would, you know, press them overhead and she would kind of have their way, have her way with them. Bianca is also pretty strong. Bianca is deceptively strong. I
think Bianca and China actually would be a pretty good match. See, That's that's why we do be the bookers for matches like that. Not as good as me and Regal, but I still think that'd be pretty good. Now, It all comes down to this, Can we get a clean sweep? Can we go three for three? We went three for three? I think last week it was maybe it was the other night we begin there he is, there's Jim Cornett, and there's Bobby Eaton, Big Show, shaking his
head like he doesn't approve of this match. Here Dennis Condrey and Bobby Eaten with Jim Cornett. Was gonna say James E but that was a w WE thing. Dennis Condrey and Bobby Eaton talk about classic old school tag team wrestling. Here you go the Mullet bros. Yeah, all about the mullets with the Midnight Express. All right, here we go. We gotta get a drumroll, please, Midnight Express, the original Midnight Express. Get it's been taken on Demolition. Yes, oh my god, what a fucking card.
We just booked Demolition and the Midnights China and Bianca bell Air and solom Monster beating the living shit out of William Regal. It doesn't get any better than that. We've peaked. We've peaked. I don't know that we could ever do better than that. And you know that every single one of you in this chat right now, you would buy tickets to that show. It would be a sold out standing room only crowd. Holy shit, the Midnights and
demolition. Wow. Wow. Booker of the Year. Yeah, hey, Meltzer, give me your booker or these somebody gonna put that meme, that image together. Put my face on their Booker of the Year, Solemn Monster. I just won. Fuck you, Tony Khan. I'm getting the award this year. There you go, that'd be the booker could rival Forbidden Door? I think so? I think so. Ross Lawman says that regal against
Adam Soloberg ten out of ten EJ Slamp with the four ninety nine. I'll be there on Saturday, and it's so cool seeing CM punkin Juice Robinson both from will County, Illinois, where I am from Maine, eventing in Chicago. Are they from the same county? I did not know that. Well, look good. Check in with updates if you can, or pop into the live chat maybe when the show is over. Let me know how the show was live in the building, what the reaction to Punk was live in
the building. Steve, all I do is give you ideas. The ideas pop up on my head. I let you know when you work your magic. That's why we would make such a great team. Would I use the bra brass knuckles? But I use the brass knuckles on sir Willis. I just I thought that said bra for some reason. The Brass Knight, I don't need brass knuckles. I don't need brass knuckles. He might need them on me, but I don't need braas knuckles on him. Arabian Night a
e w WWE War Games? Who wins Omega Brian Punk MJF. Moxley against Rains, Lesner, Rollins, Cody and AJ Styles. Lesner, Rains, Rollins, Cody and AJ Styles in a War Games match, you put brock Lesner in War Games. I'm picking whatever team brock Lesner is on. Naughty Delicious Chicken with Flavor. William Regal against Solomon's Triple H as the guest referee for the match. That's not fair. That's not fair at all. He and I mean Regal is like his Pat Patterson. Now you can't do that.
They've been friends since like the mid nineties. Gotta have an impartial referee. Impartial, Get Brian Zane in there, He'll be the referee. Juan O Compo can't wait for Cornett to review solo against Regal. I hope he goes easy on me. At least I won't put my hands in my pockets. He doesn't have to worry about that. But I hope he goes easy on me. You know what, I probably would get screwed over like I do in the two K twenty three games. Something something would happen. I
would get fucked I would get fucked over in some way. It's inevitable, it always happens. I'm not blind to the reality that that's probably what would end up happening. So again, there will be no stream on Friday. I will not be here, but twenty four hours later I will be and we'll hang out live on Saturday night. It is the return of cmpunk for the first time in probably what nine months, Right, you got hurt in September, So yeah, it's been about it's been a while. It's been
a while. It's got the shaved head. Now is it a new and improved CM punk. I don't know. We'll have to wait and see, but he'll be see. I'm punking FTR against Samoa, Joe Juice Robinson and Switchblade Jay White, and we'll see if there's any other Forbidden Door developments on that show. Somebody pitched the idea of Kenta getting involved in that main event, and perhaps that leads to Kenta and Cmpunk at Forbidden Door. I think that's a pretty pretty good guess. But we'll see if Punk even has a
match on the Forbidden Door show Arabian Night. What is Brock's best match in WWE? Is it Punk at SummerSlam? The SummerSlam matches is one of his best bows back in twenty thirteen. That was a hell of a double main event that night. Yeah, Brock and Punk, Yeah, John Cena and Daniel Bryant for the first time. So that's that's up there. I don't know that it's his, No, I mean, Brock BROCKX had a lot of great matches. You know, he's part of that triple Thread at Royal
Rumble in twenty fifteen. Uh, you know the match that God you know, the Iron Man match with Kurt Angele on SmackDown. If you want to go back to his first run, the No Way Out match with Eddie Guerrero in two thousand and four, the Stretcher match at Judgment Day with the Big Show. That's not his best. But that's that's on my list the favorite matches of Brocks that he had. Brock's first match back against John Cena had
Extreme Rules in twenty twelve. You know, it was it was unlike any other main event I had ever seen before on a WWEE pay per view. Brock in aj Styles its Survivor series, Brock and Daniel Bryant its Survivor series that was back to back years, Rock and Samoa Joe. You know, it didn't go very long. I think it was like a five or six minute match, but you know, great balls of Fire should have put the belt on Joe that night, but that's another story. So Brock Brock has
had a lot of really uh great matches. To narrow it down to what his single best match would be, you know what, it might be the Punk match. It might be if not, it's not too far off. That was an excellent match. But you know, he's also been part of some really good multiman matches as well. Rock against Ramis Stereo on SmackDown in two thousand and three. I don't remember that match, but their matched Survivor
series in twenty nineteen was pretty good too. It wasn't as good as the matches he had with with Styles and Brian, but the twenty nineteen which was also fun him and Roman in the Last Man Standing match, the last match that they had last year, it's Summer Slam. Honestly, the best matches that Brock and Roman ever had were the first one and the last one WrestleMania thirty one Summer Slam two thousand and twenty two, assuming that is the last
one I set to own to you. It's about how you start and how you finish. It's not so much about everything that falls in the middle. I mean. But as far as the biggest match that Brock ever had, it would be WrestleMania thirty And it's a shame that Undertaker got can cuss and they had such a such a shit match for such an important match in history. The match itself has no replay value to me whatsoever. I have no interest in going back and rewatching that match. I tried to once. It's
just it's just fucking boring. But just for the Finnish alone, that is the most memorable and significant I would say match of of Brock's career. It was WrestleMania thirty Brock and Kofe yeah, Brock and Kofe. If you if you coughed, if you looked away to cough or sneeze and then look back at the TV screen, the match was over. It was already done. Brock wrestle Kofe uh in Japan, didn't he Wasn't that the match on the
Beast in the East show back in twenty fifteen. I thought it was Brock against Kofy on that show that didn't go very much longer than the match on SmackDown Dude. Yeah, Brock Brocken Undertaker, Helena Sell and No Mercy the second match I would say with Brock and Goldberg WrestleMania thirty three, that was much better than their first match. Yeah, that pretty much covers I think most of it. So good shitt so again, Rabian night, thank you
for the question and the two bucks. I appreciate it. So I'm going to get out of here. Thank you for the love. Don't forget to hit the lif button if you have not already done so on your way out. Leave a comment under the video as well. When we're done here, get some discussion going in the comments section. What did you think of the Dynamite show tonight? What do you think might happen on Collision coming up this Saturday. I am going to oh one thing I forgot to mention because there
might be some people who don't know. Yesterday I was live on YouTube. We actually went about ninety minutes for a special thirtieth anniversary King of the Ring nineties three watch alone. We did the three bred Heart matches in the King of the Ring tournament against Razor Ramone, Mister Perfect, and band Band Bigelow. Sadly, all three of those men are gone and Brett is the only
one. Brett's the only one left from those three matches. Even referee Joey Morella is no longer with us, nor are Macho Man or Bobby Heenan, who were on commentary that night. But this is my favorite of all the King of the Rings. It was the thirtieth anniversary yesterday of that show. So that is now archived on the channel for everybody. If you missed it, if you want to watch along, you can do. So. We had fun on that stream, so go and check that out. That is
in the archives. A rare Tuesday live stream that was yesterday. Though all hail King Brett, says Joey Perez, two time King of the Ring, the only two time King of the Ring winner in history. Be well, stay safe, enjoy all the other content on the channel. That's right, Juliet says. This is why you keep your note of vacations on. This is why you gotta check and make sure you're subscribed to number one and number two. Flip that bell on. I had a couple of people say I
didn't even know you were alive because your notifications were off. If they weren't, then YouTube fucked up. But your notifications may have been off, So make sure you hit that bell just like I hit the bell and be the booker three times tonight I hit the bell. Best be the booker ever.
