It was fourteen hundred days ago that AW Dynamite came on the air for the very first time. Four years later, it was the two hundredth episode of Dynamite. You know, I could still remember live streaming the very first review. I wasn't even on video for that review. That's how far back that went. And it feels like just yesterday. But here we are, two
hundred episodes later on what was a very newsworthy day. It was really a newsworthy day overall in the wrestling world, but for AW it was very newsworthy as Tony Kahn was able to lock up four of the founding fathers of his promotion, four of the original talents that helped really make up the core the nucleus of AW from day one, Kenny Omega, the Young Bucks, and Hangman Adam Page. They're all staying right where they are. They're sticking around.
There will be no sweepstakes with WWE, there will be no wondering where the elite may or may not end up. And honestly, it was something that Tony Kahn had to do because the last thing he needed was to have that cloud hanging over his head for the rest of the year. And people wondering Kenny Omega might be going to WWE, or if the Young Bucks might go to WWE. This puts all the speculation to rest, and they were not the only ones that Tony Khan locked up to new long term contracts,
which we're gonna be talking about that here in a second. But it was also a day where we finally found out the first match for the All In Show at Wembley Stadium in London coming up on August twenty seventh, apparently the main event for All In. We now know that it will be mjf defending the AW World Heavyweight Championship. You will be doing so against his new best
friend and tag team partner Adam Cole. They also confirmed that All In will be airing on traditional pay per view, Bleacher Report, Fight TV internationally all the usual places that you can find AW pay per views, All In will be no different, so they are going with back to back pay per views
on back to back weekends. We kind of already knew that. I know, andrews Arian had reported that a few weeks ago, but this was the first time the company actually confirmed how people will be able to watch the show, which it's August so it's about time they let people know how they can watch the show. We had an old face showing up tonight on the show, somebody who was making his AW debut in the form of one Rob van
Dam. Fifty two year old Rob van Dam made his AW debut tonight and he walked out to his old anthem from ECW some Pantera on the way down to the ring. Tony Khann don't play around when it comes to these these songs, this music. He wants the true experience. But Tony Khann, he was a huge ECW fan back in the day. Tony Khn was not
gonna Rob van Dam walked to the ring with some generic knockoff. So URVD was on the show tonight, and URVD is going to be wrestling next week, so we'll talk about who he's going to be wrestling and why I am happy the match is happening next week and not at the end of the month. And for all the talk last week about the match between Britt Baker and tie A Valkyrie, which was not very good at all. A lot of talk about that match, a lot of talk about Britt Baker, a lot
of talk about the drama within the AW women's division. A lot of talk about the sign that the cameras focused in on at the end of their match last week that told Tony Khan to book the women's division better. There was a lot of chatter about the women's division from all corners. Everybody had an opinion last week about what is going on in AW with the women and what are the things that Tony Khan needs to address this week. The ladies got
the main events spot here on this two hundredth episode of A Bite. They were in the main event with Tony Storm defending her AW Women's World Championship against the former champion, Hikarushita. One time an AW women's champion, never got to perform in front of a live audience because she, like Drew McIntyre when he won the WWE title back in twenty twenty, did not have the chance to perform in front of actual live fans because of the pandemic. And now
tonight Kakarashida is champion once again. That shocked the hell out of me. I will tell you, coming into the show tonight, I was not expecting a title change in this match, but Hikarashida once again ali two time AW Women's World Champion, and that tells me I have a little sense of where they may be going here with her at Wembley Stadium. Shouldn't be too hard for you to figure it out either. So a lot was going on on
the show tonight. There were no matches I think that are going to stand out and be remembered months from now, nothing like Blood and Guts or the match we got from FTR Bullet Club Gold on Collision a few weeks ago. There were a couple of really good matches on the show, but it was just there was a lot going on. It was a very busy show, which is generally the case with Dynamite. That's one of the things I think that makes it different different from what we get with Collision, which is kind
of more laid back a little bit. Dynamite always has a lot of stuff going on. But I thought overall, it was a fun show and it was a good way to highlight I think some of the things that brought aw to the dance. You know, when we see the King go out there and Commander and they're jumping around and just doing these incredible athletic feats that I just I don't even understand how it's possible you get a mix of that with what we got with John Moxley and Penta and Trent who were just killing each
other in there. Anything goes match tonight it was. It was the John Moxley Special. You got thumb tacks, you got barbed wire, you got blood, although shockingly not from John Moxley. This is your AW Dynamite two hundred review for Wednesday, August second, two thousand and twenty three. I am the solom Monster. Thank you for tuning in for your Dynamite coverage here
on this channel tonight. Let's talk briefly here about the big news of the day with respect to AW before we get into the actual show here, because there was some big news that broke earlier today. Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated was given the scoop. All four members of the Elite have renewed their contracts that will keep them in AW for many years to come. That's Kenny Omega, Matt and Nick Jackson and Hangman Adam Page. They've each signed multi year
deals. In addition to their work on screen, Omega and the Bucks will remain executive vice president, so they will also maintain their EVP spots. This is from Tony Conny said, the Elite have been so important to the launch of AW, with the young Bucks going all in when I first approached them in twenty eighteen about my dream to create an international pro wrestling promotion. Shortly after that, their partners and closest friends, Kenny Omega and Hangman Adam Page
joined us to formally launch All Elite Wrestling. All four of them have been instrumental in aw's success from the very first episode of Dynamite in twenty nineteen up until the present day. Now, as we celebrate tonight's two hundredth episode, I am excited to share that all four will be staying in AW for years to come. Kenny Omega was also quoted in this Sports Illustrated article. Yes, Cody was not there, Well, why would Cody be mentioned? Cody
did not sign a contract. Boy, that would be quite the magic trick if Cody signed a contract here before his big SummerSlam match with brock Lesner, he went and signed a contract with AM But then now, of course, he was not name dropped as one of the founding fathers here in the announcement. Kenny Omega said, I was careful to weigh out all options and was open minded to all possibilities. I'm here to help whoever I can while I'm
around. Up to this point, I made the choice to sacrifice everything in the name of pro wrestling. I can't say that family or my kids influence the decision to stay. I'm not married and I have no kids. But what I can say is that I am incredibly proud of my match catalog and the wonderful people I've met and continue to me. Says Aw not only allows me to continue to do what I do at a high level, but also allows me the freedom to pursue other passions I have in life which have become
more important to me. And there were quotes here also from Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson and Hangman Page and I'll get more into the details of that on the Sunday show. The the general gist, if you look at the quotes and what each of them had to say, there is a common theme in what all the members of the Elite said here. It all seems to really revolve around schedule. This was a common theme in their quotes, especially the Bucks. They were very much kind of in tune with what they were looking
for from a schedule standpoint. They did not want to be away from their families very often. It's very important in them. Obviously the Bucks have many kids. Hangman also as a father, and they don't want to work that WWE road schedule because the WWE schedule is more grueling than the AW schedule. WWE has live events. Aw they started to do live events, but they
don't maintain a consistent live events schedule. So you have Dynamite, which is usually taped with Rampage the same now you have Dynamite, you have so far they've kept the two separate as far as you know. A lot of the people who appear on the shows, the Elite, for example, have yet to appear on an episode of Collision. They have pay per views a handful of times each year, so they're not running at the same pace the WWE is, and so that was very appealing to them for Tony kNN to come
to them. And I'm sure Tony Khn he broke open the piggy bang. I'm sure they're getting paid very well so to make great money and not have to work and be on the road as often as they would be in WWE and at their age seemed like a no brainer. Clearly that was the most important factor to them because it came up in a lot of what they said here. Would there have been WWE interest in them, of course, WWE
would have loved to have gotten their hands on Kenny Omega. They would have loved to have had the Young Bucks, they would have loved to have had Hangman Page. They would have taken all four of them if they became available, Omega being the biggest prize of them all. So there's not a dat in my mind the WWE for all to talk about a hiring freeze and they're not bringing people in right now. If Kenny Omega and or the Young Bucks
became available next week, WWE would have them on the phone. They would have them in the offices at Stanford within a week, and there would have been conversations and it's very possible that they would have ended up there. And it's too bad that we're never going to see Kenny Omega against Seth Robins. We're never going to see Kenny Omega in the ring with Roman Reigns or aj
Styles, not unless one of them comes to aw eventually. By the time this Now, they didn't say exactly how many years these new deals are. Four could be three years. I'm looking at the Moxley and the Jericho deals. Those were five year contracts, So I don't know what the exact number of years are here on their contracts. It could be five year deals. You know, these guys will be in their mid forties, mid to late forties by the time these contracts are over. It's not impossible to conceive that
they could eventually end up in WWE, but probably not. They seem to be aw lifers at this point. So it's a shame we're not going to get to see any of those matches. But look, it would have felt weird for them to all pick up and leave and go somewhere else, and it would have been devastating for Tony Kahn. And I know there are people that don't like the elite. You know, there are people that don't like the young Bucks, and they would like to see them disappear. They would
like to see the earth open up and swallow them whole. But they have been there since day one. They are part of the fabric of that company. They are part of the founding of that company. The word elite is in the name of the company. So for them all together, because Omega said previously, we're all going to make a decision together, It's not going to be one of them leaving in one of them staying. That would have been devastating for Tony Kahn. To lose all four of them at the same
time, devastating, more devastating. I mean, you think back to when WCW let Chris Benois de Malenko, Annie Guerrero and Perry Saturn go. This would have been bigger than that because at the time ben Wa, Guerrero, Saturn Malenko, they weren't top stars in WCW. They tried to make ben Wah top star. They put the world title on him to try to get him to stay, but they were not positioned at the top of the card
in WCW. This would have been something completely different. Tony Kahn could not afford for that to happen, if for no other reasons, just but the perception. What would it have looked like after already losing one EVP who headlined WrestleMania this year and probably will headline WrestleMania next year, to lose all four of these men, he couldn't allow that to happen. Tony Kahn had to keep the Elite. He did what he had to do. So now we
know that the Elite is staying put. Now I mentioned that there were other people who have signed new deals and not nearly as big of a story as the Elite, but the Dark Order. You'll be happy to know the Dark Order are also staying put in AW. They have signed three year extensions. So Evil Uno and Alex Reynolds and John Silver they're not going anywhere. They will also continue to work for AW. As I know, we have a lot of Dark Order fans here in the chat. So anyway, that's your
contract news. Now we can get to the show tonight. The show tonight opened with Chris Jericho and Cano Skate to Keshtez Tag team partners for the very first time, Don Callis was in their corner. They were taking on Sammy Gavara and Daniel Garcia. By the way, they brought back the old entrance tunnels for the two hundredth episode. I don't know if it's a permanent move back to the tunnels. I kind of hope not, but for one night
at least they had the tunnels back on either side of the entrance. Sammy Gavara was on the very first episode of Dynamite back in twenty nineteen, in the very first match on Dynamite against Cody Rhodes and so Here. On the two h dreth installment of Dynamite, he was in the opening match and he opened the match with Chris Jericho, Gavara and Jericho. They traded shops early. When Garcia tagged in, he was thrusting himself whatever that gyration is that
he does, he was thrusting himself at Jericho. He demanded that Takesha make the tag, so he did. Takeshia hit a leaping clothes line before mocking the Garcia dance and with Garcia down, Jericho tagged in. Don Callis tripped the leg and Garcia ran right into a big boot, with Jericho unaware of
the trip heading into the commercial break. After being isolated during the break, Garcia got the knees up on a lion salt, which allowed gavar to make the tag te Keshta and Jericho. They got tossed to the floor and Sammy hit back to back dives which led to a huge frog splashing side for two Takeshia hit Gavara with a blue thunderbomb, and after Sammy avoid did the walls of Tekeshta. That's what they said. He calls it the walls of Tekeshta.
He caught an incoming Jericho with a Spanish fly. Sammy got the tank to Garcia, who ran into a code breaker for two. So Tekeshta got sent outside by Sammy, who hit a shooting start of the floor and on his way down from the shooting star, it looked like his elbow popped to Keshta right in the mouth and he was holding his mouth afterwards. Hopefully he's hopefully he's all right, but you can hear it. You can hear the
pop. As he came down back inside. Garcia tried for the dragon Slayer that te Keshta tried to dive back into the ring to break it up.
Sammy grabbed him and pulled him back out to the floor. Then neither tekesh nor Sammy Gavara were the legal men in the match, right, so he pulls to Keshta back outside, and for whatever reason, this apparently was more important to Aubrey Edwards, who turned her attention to what was going on on the floor instead of paying attention to what was going on in the ring where
Daniel Garcia had the submission hole to play. Now why this was more important to Aubrey, I don't know lll aw referees, but she was paying attention to what was going on outside That gave Don Callis the opportunity to take Jericho's baseball bat and reached through the ropes and he smacked Daniel Garcia in the head with the ball bat and he knocked him cold. Jericho, he saw the whole thing go down, and so he was shocked by this. He looked
visibly displeased. He was staring at Callous on the outside, and even though he looked visibly unhappy, he decided to cover Daniel Garcia anyway, and he pinned him to win the match for his team. So the story is that Jericho, he didn't ask for Don Callis to get involved. Jericho didn't tell him to do that. Jericho didn't do it himself, but he took He took advantage of the assist anyway. He had to make a snap decision. He decided to make the cover and he won the match in the back.
Later on, Renee tried to catch up with Jericho, but before he could say anything, Matt Minard showed up and Minard got to Jericho first told him next week there would be a mandatory meeting of the members of the Jericho Appreciation Society and he expected Jericho to be there, so that could be where Jericho makes his ultimate decision. Here is he or is he not going to join the Don Callis family. I think they could probably drag it out for a
few more weeks. But the rumor going around. Talked about it on the SoundOff on Sunday. The rumor going around is that the match for Wembley Stadium, it's not going to be Kenny Omega one on one with will OSPREYO though will Osprey is going to be on the show. The rumor, the belief is that the match is going to be will Osprey against Chris Jericho, which is not the match that I wanted to see, but it sounds like it's
the match we're probably going to get. And if that's the case, that to me looks like Jerry Ko will have already made his decision by then and he'll be the baby face going into that match. We know this kind of a loose relationship where there was going into Forbidden Door between Don Callis and Will Osprey. So once Jericho decides against joining the Callous family, which I'm sure is going to be the outcome of all this, it could be that Callous
links back up with Osprey. He kind of sends him in there against Jericho, and that is kind of what leads to the match at all in. So we'll see if next week is the week that Jericho makes his decision. But again that does look unfortunately, it looks like it's going to be the match at all In. Again, it's not the match I was hoping that Osprey would be in. I was hoping they would do Omega Osprey three in Wembley in front of that big crowd eighty thousand plus. It could be a
political thing. It could very well be a case where New Japan wants that match on their turf. They want that match at the Tokyo Dome. It all started this year at the Tokyo Dome a Russell Kingdom when Omega won the US title. Right Part two was it Forbidden Door in Toronto, And maybe New Japan wants the third match, you know, they want the rubber match in January, and if that's the case, that's not Tony Kahn's decision. Tony conn I'm sure would love to have the match on his show, but
maybe the decision is out of his hands. To be honest with you, though, if we're not going to get Osprey and Omega at all, in I mean, there's plenty of other matches and potential opponents for Osprey that I would be interested in. Chief among them, I would love to see Pack in the ring with Osprey. I'd rather to see that match than Osprey against Jericho. But I will say this, Jericho cannot ask for a better opponent
if that is the match. He could not possibly ask for a better person to share the ring with and give him the best possible match than Will Osprey. So for Jericho, I can see why Jericho would want to work with him, and I look, I can see why Osprey might want to work with Jericho. Maybe maybe it's something that he has always wanted to do, Maybe he wants to cross it off his bucket list. I don't know, but there's a lot of other matches that I would have preferred over that one.
So it looks like that's the one we're gonna get that. Tony conn was backstage to talk about the big milestone that AW was about to hit at the end of the month at Wembley Stadium August twenty seven, and he threw it to a video retrospective showing various big moments from Dynamite over the past four years. This was basically just the highlights video showing various angles and matches on
the show. A lot of big moments, Shack being put through the table by Cody in the mixed tag match Stings debut, Brody Lees, Mister Brodie Lee's debut. They had highlights of the Brody Lee tribute show after he passed away, the tribute to Jay Briscoe after he passed away, so a lot of big moments. Said thought it was a cool video package. I thought we were getting some kind of an all In related announcement here, but that
came later in the show. So back out to the ring live Tony Shravanni isn't the ring to introduce the FTW champion Jack Perry for his big face to face with Jerry Lynn. He told Jerry Lynn to come on out and take his ass kicking like a man. Jerry came out he got an entrance, stayed on the stage at a microphone in his hand, said, first of all, Jungle, he called him jungle, the first time I've ever heard somebody call him jungle. So, first of all, Jungle, you don't
run the show around here. And as much as I would like to come down to the ring and make an example out of you, I won't because that would be child abuse, he said. With all the plates and screws in his neck, no doctor would clear him to get back in the ring. But it just so happened that he called an old friend. He called an old friend who used to wrestle in ECW and still happens to wrestle today.
And that old friend turned out to be that man right there one r VD Rob Van Damn making his AW debut, coming out walking to the ring to Pantera. Of course, that was his anthem in the original ECW. That was his song. In Tony kh he broke out the check book again. I'm sure, I'm sure it cost him some money. I'm sure it cost him some money to get the song. But Tony Kann has showed he doesn't care. Right, He got final countdown from Brian Danielson and forbidden Door.
It was just the one time. Actually, I think he said he had maybe two two uses of but Danielson, yeah, he broke his arm. So the last time we saw him was a forbidden door. So maybe the next time we see Danielson, maybe he'll be able to use it one more time. But obviously, you know seen Tony can do this before, whether it's Baltimore for Jungle Boy, whether it's you know, Jane Frange Cassidy or any number of people. He is willing to spend money within reason to
get the rights to actual songs, and I think that's very cool. And look, WWE can do the same thing if they wanted to. WWE is making more money now than they've ever made before. They just choose not to. But it's one of the things I like about AW because it does add
to the presentation. So you heard and they showed. The people in the crowd, Yeah, they were excited to see RFD, but I think they were equally excited if you're if you're an old ECW fan, and there's a lot of people who were much bigger ECW fans than I was back in the day. But you hear that music and you could just see you see the smiles on everybody's faces in the crowd. So he came out to his old music and got a big reaction, got into the ring. Jungle Boy,
he backed down. He left the ring. RVD and Jerry Lynne, they high fived each other. They were talking when Jack Perry made his way back into the ring with a chair. They had a tight camera shot so we couldn't see him coming until RVD turned around and Jungle Boy took a swing. RVD ducked it, tried for a Van daminator, but Perry ducked out of the ring, so the kick did not connect. And this is my favorite thing that Jack has done yet since he's turned heel. He ran into the
crowd, into the front row. He took a seat next to this woman and her daughter, this little girl, and he grabbed the girl, who I'm sure must have been related to somebody who was on the show. Grabs the girl and uses her as a human shield and then runs off into the crowd. I thought that was great. I thought that was funny. Now, later on in the back Renee interviewed r VD and r VD challenged Jack to a match on Dynamite next week. Where he teased he would win the
FTW Championship and then maybe he would retire it. He would retire the championship. Now Fightful broke the news earlier today about RVD. They made they made headlines with their story about RVD, you know, having discussions with AW and AW possibly bringing him in for a match. RVD is fifty two years old, and he looks good. He looks good for fifty two. But RVD is fifty two years old. He has not wrestled much this year. He said, two independent matches this year so far. Tony Kahn loves ZCW.
He's talked about growing up a big ECW fan, going to the ECW arena with his father. He already brought Saboo in earlier this year. He gave sab Boo a pay day. So I'm sure he's loving booking this. He's already got Jerry Lynn working there, Taz is on commentary. Now he gets to bring in RVD. We'll see. I don't know if there's any other Yeah, I'm trying to think if there's anyone else that would be considered a bigger ECW alumni who's still alive and active other than RVD. Tommy Dreamer doesn't
Tommy Dreamer doesn't count. Tommy Dreamer would not be a bigger person to bring in than RVD and Tommy Dreamer. I believe he might still be with Impact. I'm not sure Sabu. They already did that. As far as like a big name Sandman, I don't want to see that. And again, he wasn't bigger than RVD, So I don't know after RVD, where do you go from there? If you're gonna bring in old ECW faces, I'm
not sure who else they would bring in? Bully Ray, right, so we need we need Bully Ray, Bully Ray on dynamite you, oh, we don't need that. But anyway, so he brought in RVD, and I think it's I think it's it's fine what they're doing. It's far is doing it next week now. Having Jerry limbring out RVD actually makes a lot of sense given the history between them from ECW. But I was a little
worried that they were going to do this match at Wembley Stadium. So when RVD challenged him to a match on TV next week, I said, okay, I like that idea a lot more. RVD hasn't been around. RVD could very well be a little Hooked to bring in some new eyeballs to the show next week, right, and we'll see what kind of number you know, he does on the show if his segment you pops a bigger number than usual. But doing the match on television is fine. The match at Wembley
Stadium should not be an old ECW alumna. The match at Wembley Stadium should be Hooked. The feud is Jack Perry and Hook. This should be building to a rematch between Jack Perry and Hook on what is going to be the biggest AW show of all time. It should not be Jack Perry against Rob van Dam, fifty two year old part time Rob van Dam, or anybody else from ECW's past. The match should be Jack Perry and Hook. And these are your two young stars. These are the two people you're building that
should be the pay per view match. So them doing the RVD match next week paves the way for them to build to Jack Perry and Hook for the FTW title of Wembley Stadium. So this is the way to go. If they're going to bring these guys in, this is the way to go. And look RVD doesn't have to do much. You know, he can do his key spot. There'll be a lot of stalling, probably from Jungle Boy. He can hit some key spots. I don't know that RVD, at
fifty two years old, can pull off a van terminator. I don't know that I would try it if I were him, although he does a lot of stretching. Stretching is part of his routine, so he might be okay, But I don't know. I don't know if he can pull off a van terminator. I don't want to doubt him. I don't want to count him out, but I don't know if gonna get one next week. But yes, people were very happy to see RVD on the show. To me now after this, they followed this up with anything Goes. John Moxley,
Penta, l Zero m and Trent Baretta. Of course, last week we had the tag match. It was the Blackpool Combat Club, Luca Bro's best friends. So this week they just took one member from each and said do whatever you want, no holds barred, anything goes, and what we got was a wild, bloody violet match if you love blood and guts. A few weeks ago, this was right up your alley. If you did not like blood and guts, then this was not the match for you. He
got weapons, he got violence. Moxley made his entrance last. Before he even got in the ring, trend Boretta dove outside onto him. Referee rang the bell even though Moxley never did make it into the ring at that point, so they introduced a trash can. They introduced a barbed wire board. No bed of nails, but they got a barbed wire board. Moxley used the barbed wire on Baretta's forehead, so Trent was just bleeding almost immediately.
Trent dumped Moxley onto the barbed wire and board. After that, Alex Abrajantes was helping Penta outside the ring set two tables upside by side and they placed Trent on top of him. Trent recovered and he ended up going up and superplexing Moxley from the ring down to the floor through the two tables, and that took us into the picture and picture break. Coming out of the break, there was a table set up in the ring. There was another one
leaning up against the turn buckles in the corner. Tent to put Trent through the table in the ring with a destroyer from the ropes. Moxley then speared Penta through the other table. Moxley poured thumb tacks in the center of the ring and he removed Penta's shirt. He set up for a death rider pent to those stuffed it. Moxley blocked something by Penta and then hit a pile driver onto the tax, which only got a two counts. Ridiculous. Ridiculous.
One of the things I hate when they do matches like this. You can do a spot like that. How are you kicking out at two and you're pile driving someone on the fucking thumb tax and he kicks out at two? It has passed me by. It has passed me by. I have to say, you know, I said at the beginning of the stream that they had a good mix of stuff on the show, and they did.
They did have a good mix of stuff, But that doesn't necessarily mean that they should have come back with a match like this so soon after Blooding We just had Blooding Guns was it? Two weeks ago? And tonight again the barbed wire and the thumb tax and then this is you know, did we really need another match like this? Two weeks after Blooding Guns? Apparently we did. Moxley slammed Penta onto the tax and then hit a cutter on Trent
on the tax. Moxley put Penta down with a paradigm shift. Trent took out Moxley with a knee strike and then pin Penta to pick up what has to be the biggest win of his career, at least as far as singles matches go. I can't think of a bigger win for Trent Baretta. I started now, he took the losing fall, I believe when these three teams squared off, so this was sort of like Trent's revenge. After the match,
Moxley put Trent in a chokehold. Claudio and Wheeler you just started making their way down to the ring through the crowd, but they got cut off by Chuck Taylor and Orange Cassidy. They all brawled through the crowd down to ringside. Blackpool Combat Club got the better of Cassidy and Taylor and Trent dove out onto the BCC from the top rope. Chuck Taylor through a chair at Claudio and Orange Cassidy hit Moxley with the Orange Punch. When all of this
settled down, Chuck Taylor grabbed a microphone. He challenged the Blackpool com Back Club to face him, Orange Cassidy and Trend Baretta in the parking lot at Daily's place in Jacksonville on Rampage this Friday. Now, they're taping Rampage tonight, but they're in Florida, so they're gonna be taping this separately from because I thought maybe Rampage was airing live when I heard this, and I went
and I checked, and there is no live Rampage on Friday. So obviously, if if it's not already been taped, then either tomorrow or Friday, they'll be over at Daily's place and they'll tape it then and splice it into the show. The biggest surprise, honestly of this match is that Moxley was in a match with barbed wire and thumbtacks and didn't bleed. Trend Baretta bled Penta may have been bleeding, I don't know. The guy wears a mask. Moxley was in a match with barbed wire and did not bleed. I
did not see that coming. That's right up there with the women's title change is the two biggest surprises of tonight. Now, the last parking Loberal that we got or that I remember in AW. The last one that involved best friends was best Friends against Santana and Ortiz. That was three years ago, and that was tremendous. That was one of the best AW matches I think of the year. So I'm gonna have to check this one out. If it's anything like the last one, I think this one's gonna be a lot
of fun. The AW World Heavyweight Champion MJF Maxwell Jacob Friedman was out to the ring next by himself to address the AW audience He gets in the ring, and it's still it's weird. When he initially came out, he didn't get that big of a reaction. He didn't get as big of a reaction as you would as you would expect or that to him and Adam Cole got on Collision on Saturday. I still think these crowds, they don't know how to take to him because everybody has been so conditioned to think that he is
so full of shit. All you're doing is just waiting for the other shoe to drop here, and you're waiting for this facade, you know, this mask that he's wearing to fall, and we're going to see the real MJF. So I still think there are people who just don't know how to react to him, so they're being a little a little hesitant. But he got into the ring and he recalled that he had previously told us he has ADD. He has attention deficit disorder, which led to an add chant from the
crowd. MJF said that he wished his teachers felt that way. He wished his teachers back in school had felt the way that the fans feel about him having ADD. So he also talked about having rejection sensitive disorder. He said that he can't regulate rejection based emotions or behaviors. He said he's been bullied, abused, cheated, lied cheated on, lied to, battered, and
beaten up. He said he blacked out a lot of it, but he still remembers that day that a handful of kids through quarters at him as hard as they and called him jew boy while telling him to pick them up. And that's a story that he has told before, So I don't doubt that's something that actually happened to him, because he's used it now multiple times in different promos. He said it's easy to be booed, but he struggles to open up and be vulnerable. He said, the fans made it so that
he can. He said, they had sympathy for the devil. He said, he's still a scumbag, but now he's ready to be your scumbag. And the fans cheered and they started chanting, You're our scumbag, and he started smiling. All I could think of as I'm listening to him talk about this is WrestleMania seven, the end of the Randy Savage Ultimate Warrior Match. Ultimate Warrior wins and Sherry turns against the Macho King. At the end of the match, Elizabeth comes out of the crowd and throws Sherry out of the
rain. We get the big reunion with Macho and Elizabeth. Great moment, one of the best WrestleMania moments ever. And Elizabeth goes to hold the ropes open for Savage when they go to leave, and Savage says, no, no, no. He pulls her away and he holds the ropes open for her, and there's people in the crowd crying and everybody is cheering. And then on commentary, Bobby Heenan goes, he's turning into a big softie. That's what I thought. Here. I'm listening to this guy talk. I'm
like he's turning into a big softie. Those words kept reverberating through my head. I go, what's going on here with this guy? What is this a therapy session? He credits Adam Cole with being the one to teach him that living with hate in your heart is
no way to live. Credits him for showing him that even he deserves a friend, and at that point, he introduced Adam Cole as someone that he considers to be one of the best wrestlers and best human beings in the world. And he introduced him. Adam Cole came out no music, He just walked out there and got into the ring. He told m JF. He continues to impress him every single day. Cole said that he's one of the best wrestlers in the world at such a young age, and said that he's
also impressed by the man that MJF is becoming. They might have to throw him another bar mitzvah at this point to make him officially a man. Cole wanted MJF to know that you are not alone. He said that he was a jerk for years because he thought that's what he had to do to succeed, and it took him years to figure out what a man should be. Cole said, the people love MJF because they know that deep down in his heart and soul, there's a good person in there. He said that he
and the fans are incredibly proud of MJF. So MJF said, look, I enjoy listening to you perform verbal fallacio on me. But he reminded us
that look, I'm still a scumbag. And he remembers telling Adam Cole that he would give him a shot at the AW World Have Youweight Championship regardless of whether or not they won their tag team match against FTR, which they did not, although they didn't win because MJF is the one who got picked and MJF said, Adam, you don't deserve a match and Adam Cole was confused by this. He was taken aback by what he was saying, and MJF
said, no, you don't deserve just any match. And at that point he had somebody outside of the ring reach up and hand him a contract folder with a contract inside. He said, Cole deserves to face him in the main event of the biggest AW show of all time at Wembley Stadium at all in. MJF Adam Cole for the AW World Heavyweight Championship. He said, there's no one he would love to make history with more than Cole, and he told him signed the contract and Adam Cole took the contract signed it before
he even had a chance to read through it, which seems unwise. There were even some fans in the crowd chanting read it. He did not. He signed it. Cole told him JF that he loves him. MJF said he loves him back, and the two of them hugged backstage. They cut to backstage. Roderick Strong was watching this and he was beside himself, still in his neck brace. He was pitching a fit. He was throwing furniture around, smashing monitors on the ground. He couldn't believe what he was seeing.
He came off like a jilted lover. All of a sudden, Matt Taven and Mike Bennett show up. Taven said that Cole always forgets who his real friends are, and then they walked away and Roddy continued to see they were referring to their history and ring of Honor as members of the Kingdom. So for those who don't know, there is history between them, you know, with the well, let's just mention what x caliber said here. First, ex Caliber, this is where he told us that All In would be
airing on traditional pay per view Bleacher Report Fight TV internationally. I think he also mentioned cable and satellite provider, so it's airing as a pay per view, which again I think we already knew, but this was the confirmation. So it's it's certainly a lot to ask, I think of their fans to have two pay per views, probably fifty bucks each, back to back weekends. If I had a venturer guests, I would say that all In is going to do a lot better than All Out, But who knows. You
know, the aw audience is very loyal. They love their aid you, so they may be willing to plunk down however much money it is, you know, back to back weekends. It also depends on what the cards look like. We still only know one match for all In. You know, by the end of the show you could kind of see what some of the other matches would be against Jericho and Osprey probably will be one of them.
We only have one match officially announced. Now there's still three weeks or three and a half weeks left to go, but we know nothing about it all out other than the TNT title will be on the line. It's going to be Darby Allen against either Christian or Lucasaurus, whoever is defending the belt that hopefully Christian. So it'll ultimately come down also, I think to what the
cards look like. But all In, I think is going to be is going to be the one to watch because even if they don't have a lot announced, it's going to be one of those things where I think people are going to not want to be left out. Yeah, they're gonna build this up as a really special, once in a lifetime kind of event. This
this this is gonna be like their WrestleMania three. When WrestleMania three opened and you had that shot from the top of the stadium panning out into the Silver Dome and you saw all of these people sitting in there, you know, seventy eight thousand plus people sitting in there, and what an iconic shot that
was. And they had never had a show with that many people before in the history of that company, and they had run Shay Stadium in some big buildings before the stadium, what is the CNE Stadium in Toronto the year before that. Actually it was that show. They did sixty some on thousand people in Toronto for Hogan and Orndorf the year before. It was the success of that show that led to Vince McMahon booking the Silverdome for WrestleMania three. But
that was their their kind of Holy Grail moment. That's what this is going to be for aw they got to get that big pan shot of that crowded all of those people sitting in Wembley Stadium and you're gonna have eighty thousand plus and there's still time for them to get to maybe even eighty five. It can be a lot of people there. So but there's two key takeaways here. Two key takeaways from this segment. Number one, MJF reminded Adam Cole
and everybody else that he's a scumbag more than once. He made that very clear. I am still a scumbag, which I think is a very important point to remember. He also told us, besides telling us what he is, Adam Cole never bothered to read the contract and that is going to come back to bite him on the ass. I don't know what stipulation might be
in the contract. I don't know. I don't know. You can speculate on what MJF may have put in there, but whatever it is, I'm sure he puts something in there that is going to ultimately work against Adam Cole. Question is, again, how does Roderick Strong fit into all of this? They're showing him on Tell Vision. He's always you know, angry and pissed off. Adam Cole can't see through this guy. Clearly he's going to factor into this in some way. So what are they gonna do? Are
they gonna have Roddy cost Cole the title? That would seem like one of the more obvious outcomes here. MJF and Adam Cole, they don't turn on each other. It's actually Roderick Strong who ends up costing Adam Cole the championship. Do they have Cole and Roddy both? This whole thing has been a
ruse with Roddy acting all angry every week. Maybe they're together, maybe they're inco hoots because they both know that MJF where they think that MJF is full of shit, so they get to him before he can get to them. MJF comes out of this is the baby face, and Adam Cole comes out of this is the heel. That's another possibility where they fuck over MJF instead.
But what I love about this is he said at the beginning, I think there are people who just they see MJF out there acting like this and they're just they won't let their guard down because they don't trust this guy. They don't trust MJF. So every segment like this, you're kind of on guard and you're waiting. You're just waiting for someone to turn on someone,
for something to happen, and so far it has it. So it makes every segment that they're in in front of that live crowd must see because every week you're waiting, Okay, this is going to be the week, and then it doesn't happen, So I like that aspect of it. You know, as far as all Out is concerned, we hadn't Cmpunk make those comments on Collision. He's made more than one comment about MJF. It is still weird that MJF has not addressed the Mpunk, not even some kind of like
cryptic comment or anything like that. You had Cmpunk go out there on that show on Saturday and say I'm the real World Champion and pull out the aw World title belt, and he's mentioned Max by name, for MJF was in the same building as him on Saturday and never came out, never was not interviewed backstage, didn't tweet about it, didn't say a word about Punk.
That was weird enough. And I know they're not working together at this moment, but it's just weird just logically if you look at it, why would he not be addressing what cm Punk was on Collision saying when he called himself the real World Champions. So still no mention of Punk from MJF here on this show. But the idea that maybe they would do Champion against Champion in
Chicago at all Out is certainly a possibility. It's not something that I would do if if it were me, I would hold off on that as long as I can, because I still think that's the biggest match realistically. You know, if the Elite's not going to work with Punk, that's the biggest match you could do. I would hold off on that as long as I can. It would feel like a rush job to me. Everything right now is centered around MJF and Adam Cole, So what are you going to do.
You're actually going to do mj against cmpunk on a one week build. That would be ridiculous, So I hope that's not the plan. But they're going to be in Chicago, so there's a very good chance cmpunk is going to be in that main event it all out, But I just think it would be insane to give that match away instead of holding off and giving it
the proper build that it deserves. There were some people who I saw chatting a little earlier who were a little underwhelmed, a little underwhelmed about the main events of this big stadium show being MJF and Adam Cole. The reality is this, MJF and Adam Cole are the hottest thing in the company right now. Their segments are doing well. They're they're apparently they're selling tons of merch
and their new T shirts and everything. They're the hottest angle going right now in AW and it's an angle that is centered now around the AW World Championship. So it makes sense to headline in the show with your hottest act and your world championship. But I agree, it doesn't feel like the biggest possible
match that they could do. So it's a weird thing where this should be the match that makes the most sense for that spot, and it still doesn't feel like for a show this big, like the biggest possible match they could do that would be Kenny Omega against somebody that would be maybe cmpunk if they could, if they could swing cmpunk obviously against the Kenny Omega or cmpunk against MJA or cmpunk maybe against somebody else, that would feel bigger than this,
even even though this is the kind of the hot act right now. So I see what you're saying. I understand people who feel that way, And look, we only know one match. They may announce more matches, they may pull a WWE where we get a double Made event or a Triple Mad event. Maybe this isn't the actual match that closes the show. But as of this moment, this looks to be the main event of that show, but we still have three and a half weeks to find out what the rest
of the card is going to be. Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks speak at the Devil. They were up next against Jeff Jarrett, Jay Lethal and Satinham Sing, And let me just remind you guys again, we are looking for four hundred here for be the booker later. We're close, but we're not there yet three fifty. So hit that leg button if you have not already done so, and we'll see if we get to be the book up a little bit later on. So Jeff, Jarrett, Jay Lethal and Satenham
Sing. When Sing tagged in for the first time in this match, Matt Jackson was in the ring and he turned around and saw Satinham sing and looked like he should himself, and he turned around to his corner and they did the comedy spot where Omega and Nick Jackson they dropped off the apron. Nick joined Matt though in kicking Sing and then he ran through their double closed line attempt. He hit a giant running crossbody block because he is a giant.
Omega drilled Satin him with a v trigger knee and the young Bucks took out Jarrett and Lethal a ringside. Omega tried to get Satin him Sing up on his shoulder. This would have been quite the visual here if you could have pulled this off. He tried to get satinham Sing up on his shoulders for the one Winged Angel, but Sanjay Dutt ran in. He broke it up while Karen Jarrett distracted the referee. Omega then chase Sanjay out of the ring.
Lethal put Omega down with a lethal combination. Brandon Cutler climbed up onto the apron. He used the cold spray on Karen until Sanjay pulled him down. Here comes Matt and Jeff Hardy. Jeff Hardy has been dying to get back on Dynamite. He said he's been working very hard to try to get back on the show. He got back on the show for about five seconds tonight, and it ended with Jeff Hardy hitting a twist of fate to Sanjay Dutt on the floor. Jarrett brought a guitar to the ring. He swung
it at Omega, but he missed. Hangman Page showed up he hit a buckshot lariat to Jarrett Lethal, picked up the guitar, Omega blasted Lethal with a v trigger, picked him up on his shoulders, hit the one winged angel and got the pit. Oh, by the way, that I guess I should mention that since we were talking about all in, Jeff Jarrett has been doing media overseas in the UK and he was in a radio studio and apparently Grado was there. Now I'm not over in the UK, so all
you UK fans will have to clue me in here. Is Grados still a thing? I don't know. Is Grego is still a thing? I know Goodey though at one point was huge, But I haven't heard much about Grado recently, so is he still a thing or not? Apparently he is, and he was in studio and Jeff Jarrett I saw the footage. He took his guitar and he smashed it over Grado's head. So we might be getting
Jeff Jarrett against Grado at all it. And I wonder if we are, since Tony kh has not been shy about shelling out the big Bucks, if they would do Jeff Jarrett against Greato Wembley and have Greado come out to Madonna, have him come out to like a prayer, right, because that was his big thing. Right, he would make the entrance that was his song. I wonder, I wonder how much that would set Tony back? How
much you think that would cost them? Please know Greato. Oh, it looks like you're getting great up. People's heads are going to explode if we get Greato and Orange Cassidy on the same show. So after the match is over, Kenny Omega took the microphone and he said that Hanger Hangman had something on his mind. Why don't you tell the fans? And Hangman announced that the Elite, all four of them, had resigned with aw and people cheered.
He said they were happy to be there for Dynamite two hundred and he to the next two hundred and Omega said, whether it be Dynamite, Ring of Honor, Rampage or even Collision, fans would be seeing a lot more of them, and then he ended with his goodbye and good night send off. He had to throw the little Collision Tea's in there right with a little smirk, a little smirk on his face when he mentioned Collision. That's gonna get people talking. I don't think anything's changed, but my guess is there's
gonna be collisions that Cmpunk is gonna miss. In fact, there was a news report yesterday that he might possibly miss the post all out episode of Collision. I believe it's either the post or the one that comes before. I don't know. One of those weekends he might have an MMA commentary gig that
he has to fulfill. So that's just one example. I could see there being episodes where he misses, and then the Elite make appearances on that show not onlike when we had Punk on Dynamite not that long a go, and the Elite were mysteriously absent on that show and then it was reportable they were They were not supposed to be on that show yet bullshit. So I take
it to mean that's really all event. We might see the Elite on those episodes of Collision that Punk is not on, although a look of cooler heads prevail at some point. It would be nice if the children can play on the same in the same sandbox. I mean they're they're backstage together at the pay per views. They were backstage together a forbidden door and they didn't kill each other, So I'm sure they can coexist, but he knew what he was doing when he said that here, he knew he knew what he was
doing. So we had the Mogul Embassy was in the back and are Fox, who was the newest addition to the Mogil Embassy. He turned heel last week. Are Fox said that if Darby Allen and he were so close, why didn't Darby call him and try to get him into aw when Darby came to the company, which is a valid question. Why did Darby not call
him and why did Darby not talk to him for five years? Swerve Strickland told the cameras to cut to a little movie they made, and they cut to Swerve and r Fox and they hit a cameraman with them, and they showed up at the Buddy Wayne Academy or Nick Wayne, which is basically Nick Wayne's garage. Inside the garage is a wrestling ring. That's where he trained when he was a kid. Buddy Wayne, the late Buddy Wayne, his
father, would train people there. So they show up to this garage and they go in and Nick Wayne is in the ring with another wrestler and he sees this and he's what are you doing? Here and our Fox. He threw a skateboard at the other wrestler that was in the ring with him. Swerve and Fox. They roughed up Nick Wayne smashed a framed photo over his head, which busted him open, so he was bleeding all over the place. And the photo that he hit him with was a picture of Nick Wayne
when he was much younger, when he was a kid. I mean, he's still a kid, but in the photo he was a little kid, him and his father. And at one point Swerve took the photo and said, here, I'm gonna lay it down on the mat, right in the exact spot that you were sitting in the day that you got the call and found out that your father had passed away. So he put the picture down on the mat. But he forced Nick Wayne and bleeding all over himself, who went to go reach for his phone. And they were like, oh,
you're gonna reach it's gonna call Darby. So while the kid is bleeding, he says, punch your coded. You gotta unlock the phone. You gotta punch your code in, right. So they're holding I think it was Fox was holding Nick Wayne, and he's typing in his pass code for the phone, and then Swerve says, now called Darby. He pushes a button to call Darby Allen. So now Swerve is standing in the ring. He's
got the phone. Darby answers, thinking that it's Nick Wayne tells him that it's not Nick Wayne tells him to shut up and listen or something even worse is going to happen to him. And Swerve question why Darby didn't help aur Fox get a job with aw Swerves said that they are the ghosts of Darby's past and they are here to haunt him and this is just the beginning. And Fox through the skateboard through the garage window which shattered it. Nick Wayne
was literally laying in a pool of his own blood. This kid was bleeding all over the place. This was a wild, violent angle and this was great. I thought this was a great segment. This is exactly what we needed to see from Swerve to really give him that harder edge. You know, it was violent, he showed no remorse. He was just scary in this segment. You know, the way they beat this kid up and took
advantage of them. And again the end of the personal connection with Nick Wayne and Darby Allen's so this just adds a lot of you know, kind of oil here to this situe. Mixing oil and water. This really throws a lot of gas on the fire here between Darby and Swerve as far as their feud goes. But this was a pretty heavy angle. I thought this was very well done. So this was great. We had Aussie Open against Leo del Vikingo and Commander. They were a tag team. They were challenging for
the Ring of Honnor World Tag Team Championship. The action here was insane, which again with Vi Kingo and Commander, you knew it would be. Commander was isolated during a commercial break and the Kingo made a hot tag quickly though he got flattened by a double superkick in midair. Aussie Opened was sent to the floor and the Kingo and Commander. You can picture this now. You had Commander on the top rope on one side, you had Vi Kingo on
the top rope on the other side. They each do a ropewalk, they meet in the middle of the top rope, they grabbed hands and they hit a double moonsault onto both members of Assie Open on the floor, which was crazy to see. Then with Mark Davis down inside the ring, the Kingo and Commander they're both back up on the top rope and they hit double four fifty splashes at the exact same time. Kyle Fletcher, though, got into the ring to break it up. At the last second, Fletcher and Vikingo
they spilled outside. Commander tried his top rope walk shooting Star, but he missed as Davis and Fletcher connected with the Coriolis to retain the Ring of Honor tag team titles. So why did we get a Ring of Honor tag team title match here on this episode of Dynamite, I do not know. We don't see the Ring of Honor tag team titles defended on Dynamite very often. It was nice to see Aussie Open. Assie Open is great, the Kingo is great, so I can't complain about the action here. This was pretty
nutty, So it was a good win for Assie Open. Although you would think they would be a little more dominant here in this match, and they really weren't, which maybe was the most surprising part of the match to me. But again, you know, I guess they just wanted to feature the Ring of Honor talents here. Are we going to see Ausie opened more frequently on Dynamite. Probably not. Are they going to build something for them at Wembley Stadium at all In? They probably should. I expect to see Ring
of Honor talent on that show. Ring of Honor talent, probably some new japan talent, probably some local you know, maybe some UK talent that are based out in the UK. All In may end up being one of those shows like the original all Inn where they try to bring in people from different
promotions and really make it almost like a wrestling festival type of event. I can understand if Tony Khan wants to have a few special attractions on the show like that, but I also think he shouldn't be filling the show up with just that because you have a lot of talent on your roster, a lot of talent male and female, who were all going to want to be on the show, and not all of them can be on the show. But there are only so many spots to go around. I think you sprinkle in
a few special attractions with talent from different places. I think that's fine, but hopefully they don't go too overboard with it. We just had Forbidden Door, you know. I don't think this car needs to be filled with matches with people from other promotions. The Ring of Honor is their promotion, it's Tony's promotion. So having the Luca Bros. Having Aussie open on there, Yeah, that would make sense. Hopefully Samoa Joe will find his way onto
the show Athena. It would be nice to see Athena. But speaking of the women, we had the main event of Dynamite two hundred Tony Storm defending her AW Women's World Championship against the former champion, hit Karushida. The outcasts were outside, as they always are in Tony's matches. Storm got control, hit a running hip attack to send Sheeta out to the Florida get beaten up by Ruby Soho in Soria, which led into the final picture and picture break
of the night. Sheeta avoided the sweet Cheek music in the corner, hit a released German suplex and Inzaguri sends Storm to the corner. Sheetah hit multiple running knee strikes. She hit a missile drop kick for two. Sheeta wanted a superplex Soirea though took the referee while Ruby Soho tripped up Sheetah and Storm connected with a tornado DDT. Tony Storm connected with a violent, sweet cheek
music. I will always watch that with amazement. How she does not give her opponents whiplash or a broken neck because she comes in full force with that hip attack in the corner. This was no difference Sheeta. Those still had fight left dinner. Both ladies had a battle of chops and four arms until
Sheeta popped Storm with a pumping knee and falcon arrow for two. Soria then tossed a kendo stick into the ring and it was on the mat in between both women, right in front of the referee, by the way, right in front of Poulter, who did absolutely nothing because law referees. So Storm dared Sheeta to use the kendo stick because if she did, she would get disqualified and then she wouldn't win the championship. So instead Sheeta smacked Ruby on
the apron with the kendos stick. As the referee turned to take the kendo stick away, Tony Storm blinded Sheeta with the spray paint right in the eyes and then she hit the Storm zero went for the pin and Sheeta kicked out at two and a half, and it got a great reaction because everybody thought the match was over. I thought the match was over, but what a lame way that would have been to end the show. But she kicked out so many times before. We've seen her in the Outcast win matches that way,
so it was a great near fall. The people reacted big to it. Storm wanted another Storm zero, but Sheeta was able to backdrop out of it and get a high stack for a flash pin. Just like that, we have a brand new aw Women's World Champion, and they shot off confetti. She celebrated with the title in the middle of the ring. So for all the times that we have seen the Outcast interfere in each other's matches over and over and over, I mean to the point of it was nauseating how
many times we see this in their matches. And I get that they're heels, but it gets old there for a while. It finally blew up in their face. It finally blew up in their face, and it worked against them, and in the end it costs Tony Storm her championship, who was
not enough for her to pick up the win. I was not expecting a title change here when they announced during the show that this was going to be the main event, though I should have suspected that they might be ending the show with a title change, but coming into tonight, I was not expecting that, so that was a big surprise to me. Look, there wasn't much of a journey for Sheita to this point. There really wasn't. There
was not much of a story to get to this. She's been racking up wins for the past three weeks or so on Rampage, and most recently she beat Nyla Rose. I know she's beating Marina Safire, she beat somebody else. So she racked up a few wins on the I was going to call it the B Show. But what would you call rampage at this point?
I mean, if you have Dynamite and Collision and they're A and B depending on which one you think is A and which one you think is B, Yeah, I would call them both A. I would say they're both A and rampages the B Show. So she's been racking up wins on the B Show. But what was the last time we saw Sheeta on Dynamite right number? I can't. I can't remember, honestly, the last time she did anything meaningful on this show. And then boom, just like that, She's
on Dynamite, challenging for the Women's Championship. She's been absent from the main shows, you know, for so long, so there was really no build to this. They just kind of put the match out there cold. But sheeta winning. You know, obviously it was the happy, feel good moment at the end of the match. She wins the title. People in the building got to see a title change they probably were not expecting in the outcast, they got their come up, and for all the interference in everybody's matches,
they finally got what they deserved. So you know, it made for a happy moment to close out the show. But what I'm happy for as far as Sheda go, I'm happy for Sheetah because Sheda she never had the chance to wrestle in front of live crowds when she won the championship the first time, it was during the pandemic, and so you had no fans in the buildings. You had no fans at Daily's place. Maybe towards the end there they had people in the crowd, but it was it was the wrestlers.
They didn't have real fans in the crowd. And it's the same thing with Drew McIntyre Drew McIntire was the hottest he had ever been at the beginning of two and twenty. Remember when he dumped out brock Lesner at the Royal Rumble. What a what a huge reaction that got. He was going to roll into WrestleMania that year and win the WWE Championship and this was going to be his big crowning moment. And he won the belt in an empty warehouse in four minutes, and for the duration of his title run, he had
to perform in front of no fans. He had to perform in front of a bunch of screens, and they didn't even have screens until later that year, So he got to miss out on that whole experience of being able to win the title in front of a live crowd, big stadium, defend the championship in front of fans. That's what wrestling is. Wrestling is built off of reacting and feeding off of the live crowd, and he didn't have that opportunity. Neither did Sheidah. So now she's going to have the chance.
It might only be for a few weeks, but now she's going to have the chance to actually defend her championship in front of the live crowds, and the live crowd tonight was pretty responsive to her. You know, they like, they liked Sheida, They were happy for her when she won. But I don't know that she's gonna have that bell for very long now. There could be a rematch in store with Tony Storm. But you know, we're
heading into the UK, We're heading into Wembley Stadium. I'm looking ahead and I'm thinking the match we're going to get at Wembley is probably going to be Sheeta defending her title against Sirea, and I would not at all be surprised if Sirea walks out with the aw Women's World Championship. I think that may be what they're planning. And it sucks that Jamie Hayter is hurt because that
should be in her spot. The match should have been Tony Storm and Jamie Hayter, and I don't have any doubt in my mind that if Jamie Hayter was not hurt and she was cleared and ready to come back, this title change would not have happened tonight. The reason this title change happened is because Jamie Hayter is hurt, so they decided to go in a different direction.
But if she was ready to come back in time for that Wembley Stadium show, we would be getting Jamie Hayter winning the belt back from Tony Storm at the end of this month. And it sucks that she's not going to be able to be there, and it sucks that apparently she's going to be gone for the rest of the year. Although Tony Kahn was asked about that by
PW Insider earlier, he was he didn't give any specifics. He just said they're hoping to have her back, you know, soon, but the belief is that she may miss the rest of the year, so we're not going to see her for a while. But hey, one person's loss is another person's gain. That's the way the wrestling business works. You know, one person goes down, there's always going to be somebody else to step right into that spot, and Sheeta was the beneficiary of that. Their rampage on Friday
has Chuck Taylor and Trent Baretta against John Moxley and Claudio. It's gonna be a parking lot brawl at Daily's place. If they you know, if they really want to ratchet up the danger in this match, they should do it. In the nx TEA parking lot since they're all they're all together down there in Florida, so they wouldn't have to go very far right there in Winter Park, I think, why don't you do it in the nx TEA parking
lot. Anna Jay one on one with sky Blue, Swerve, Strickland and r Fox will be an action Keith Lee and the Hardy's take on Kip Sabie and the Butcher and the Blade. So that's Friday night, the Saturday Night
aw Collision head to head with Summer Slam. Good luck with that. Cmpunk is going to defend the Real World's Championship against Ricky Stark's special enforcer, Ricky the Dragon, Steamboat FTR defend their AW tag team titles against Big Bill and Brian Cage, and Chris stat Lander defends the TBS title against Mercedes Martinez. So not a bad card for Saturday for Collision. But I don't know how many people who are going to be watching that. I have no idea what
I'm Honestly, I have no idea what I'm watching it either. You know, Summer Slam is going to take up the rest of the night. And then I got a podcast to do the very next day, So most likely I'll be very quickly trying to cruise through Collision on Sunday morning, so I can at least know what is going on here, and I can comment on
the CM punk stuff if nothing else. But I would love to know if Tony Kahn went to Warner Brothers Discovery and requested to put Collision on earlier on Saturday, if he was rejected, or if he never bothered asking, it's a ballsy move. If he didn't bother asking, it's a ballsy move not to move the show up and do it from six to eight instead of eight to ten. But I'm sure they're going to take a hit. I said the other night. They're probably gonna set their DVR viewership record on Saturday.
They're probably gonna set all kinds of records for DVR on Saturday and Dynamite next week. So far, the only matchion outs is Jack Perry defending the FTW title against Rob van Dam, and that will be under FTW rules, that's right. The Diaz and Jake Paul fight is also on Saturday. I know that because Logan Paul wanted to go on first against Ricochet and and fly to is it Dallas? So believe Dallas is where the fight is taking place. His goal if he if his match goes on first, he said, his
goal is to go not even shower, He'll be in his gear. He'll go right from ford Field to I guess a private plane and try to get to Dallas and get there in time to walk to the ring with his brother. So that's right, there is there's a fight that night as well a lot of competition on Saturday. That's that's it could be a very busy night. Yes, FTW rules For those who don't know FTW rules meaning there are no rules, I believe those are the FTW. It's like the tribal what
are they calling it again, tribal combat? It's SummerSlam. What does tribal combat? Tribal combat means you could pretty much do whatever you want. That's what it means. The poll for tonight eighty one percent thumbs up for Dynamite, two hundred and nineteen percent thumbs down, So an excellent score for the two hundredth episode at solom Monster on Twitter, go ahead and vote, Hey who's that guy? Look who that guy is? Hey the Winston slip?
Thank you? For the super chat appreciating my friend. Who is that guy in the Bandanna look at all swollen? I know that guy. All right, let's see what you guys are talking about on super chats. We'll start with Tuxedo t Servo. It's Ricky Starks. You've got to be kidding me. Nigel Legit got me to laugh out loud at that on Collision Perfect over the top enthusiast, I said that was my review on Sunday, I said
that was a great moment. Yeah, Ricky comes out, no music or anything, and he says, I want a proper entrance, So forget that. You saw him and he goes to the back and then they play his music in Nigel on commentary is like, oh my god, it's Ricky Starks. I said, to see this guy, Day gets it. This guy knows how to play alone. Lady fire Panda, thank you for the twenty one dollars super chat. Very kind of you. He says, Yes, two hundred episodes of Dynamite is great and all, But I got one question.
Do you smell what the Rock is cooking? A fire Panda? Do you think the Rock might be its SummerSlam on Saturday? What do you guys think Timmy Twodoe, Swerve and r Fox were the best thing on the shop. That segment was a lot better than it had any right to be.
I thought that segment was awesome, and it's just wild to me. I can't not look at them and not think of Killshot and Dante Fox just I automatically my mind goes to Luca Underground when I see the two of them together the coug Are you seeing that somewhere or is that just your your guests, because they've been building up Moxley at orange Castle, so I'm not sure about
Moxley and Eddie Kingston at all in it, Grosso. I'm really surprised at Karasheedah won the women's title, but I'm not that happy because I know where they are going with it, and that is Soreyah beating Sheeta at all in for the big London, I think you and I are thinking along the same wavelength. That's that's that's my initial thought, mister notorious Chico says to me, Miro is okay, don't really see the big deal with him, But Keith Lee, you have a man who can talk. Russell has charisma and
doing nothing with him shaking my head, what are you talking about? He'll be on rampage. That not enough for you. Nick Rosso says, decent show. It was great to see RVD, great to see Mercedes. AJ just subscribe welcome. AJ says it was great to see RVD in hearing Walk. Brought me back to my childhood. Very surprised Moxiley did not bleed during his match. Must have forgotten his blade at home, his blade. Fucking barbed wire in the ring doesn't need a blade, barbed wire and thumb tax
just laying all over the ring. Big Armada nineteen eighty eight. Can anyone explain why AW was booking Roderick Strong to look like a jealous ex girlfriend. Now he looks like a default call. Remember what MJF said last week, you know, booking him like a jealous ex girlfriend. I'm starting to think it could very well be the fixes in. It's all part of a just to put on by him and Adam. They're gonna drop the hammer on MJF.
I mean that would that would be a unique twist to the story if it's all just him pretending to be upset, but he and Adam Kohle are in on it. Together, Naughty Delicious Chicken with flavor. Congratulations the two time women's champion Hi Karashida. In my opinion, AW made the right decision and I hope this would be a fresh start for the women. Oz and Gloria says three letters r VD dethronic, thank you for the five Thank god I have jail broken firestick and don't have to pay for a pay per view
with no matches announced. Well you got one match, as you can't say that anymore. You go one name Naughty Delicious is please see him Punk Recruit, Private Party and Santana and Ortiz on Collision, I beg you mentioned that Santana and Ortiz have been put back together on the AW roster page as a team, which was not the case. So maybe that's a good sign. Maybe we're going to get them back together as a team. Look, they're better together than they are apart as far as giving them the best chance I
think to succeed and do something meaningful on that roster. Tony Kan dropped the ball with them the first time. There's no doubt about that. They should have been AW Tag Team champions a long time ago. But I still think that they are better together than they are going to be split apart Ortiz. For example, what has Ortiz been doing or Teas has been doing nothing? The best thing for both of them would be to get them back together as
a team. Nick Grosso says, I'm just going to throw something out there. What if Adam Cole turns on MJF and starts a new group with the Kingdom and Roderick Strong joins as well. I don't have any interest in the Kingdom. That does nothing for me. Dylan Hensley, our head trainer at aapw's old school, so taught us the importance of psychology and moving forward, we'll learn when and why to do certain moves. I think your head trainer
has the right idea. Your head trainer sounds like a really smart guy, so listen to whatever he has to say. Now. I don't think Mark Quinn is back Boomerang. I don't think Mark Quinn is back yet. He's been gone for a long time now that I think about it. I did see him though, actually a few months ago. He popped back at one of the House of Glory shows. He was just there to hang out and
watch. I didn't really have a chance to talk to him, but if I see him again, I think I'm gonna try to get some answers. We find out what's going on with this guy Slim Yoshi Salomnster. I just finished watching Brian Zanes who is mister SummerSlam video and he had brock Lesner at number one, with Brett at two, Edge at number three. Okay, that's the first seen at number four, Randy Orton at number five. Who do you believe is mister Summer Slim. I think I've talked about this before.
I think I have Brett as by mister summers Slam. I mean Breton Brock. I think it's it's one of the other. You can't go wrong with either one of them, brock Lesner or Bret Hart. But you know Brett from the very first Summer Slam. But you know I look at him. The Brainbusters match in eighty nine was excellent. Two out of three falls
against Demolition in ninety was excellent. Ninety one against mister Perfect. Classic match ninety two of Wembley against Bulldog. Classic match ninety three against Doink was actually not a bad match. Ninety four cage match with Owen, I mean speaks for itself, speaks for itself, and even ninety seven against the Undertaker as a classic match as well with a pretty classic finish. Brock has had a
lot of great matches. In memorable match is this Summer Slender squash of John Cena, the match with the Undertaker, the Mattress, CM Punk, the Mattre Kurt Angle in two thousand and three, the Rock in two thousand and two. Trying to think in more recent years that four way with Roman and Stroman and Joe was that twenty seventeen? Was that last year last man standing
with You know what? Now that I think about it, maybe maybe I would put Brock of bread because he's had more matches than bread hats, so I might I might move Brock into the top spot. But to me one and two, whatever order you put them in, I think has got to be Brock and Bread. Retro Koh says, signing that all in contract will end up being the biggest mistake Adam Cole ever made. Never read the contract that he's going to regret trusting MJ. It could be right, It could
be right. Twenty seven to twenty seven In ring promos, Charisma, who is better Hardy or Punk? He didn't say which heart. I assume you mean Jeff, but you gotta specify. We got more than one Hardy. Jeff Hardy, Matt Hardy, Barry Hardy. He was a enhancement guy for many year as far as in ring promos, Charisma Punk b Money says, I just had two questions for you. What in the world are the Mets doing? And have you seen the Kevin Owens interview with Ariel Helwan? Is
that new the Kevin Owens interview? Because if so, I have not seen it. What the Mets are doing? I would love for somebody to tell me. I don't know. I haven't even been able to watch any of the games, aside from the ones that are on right their TV because my service stopped carrying SNY. They're having some sort of dispute, so I haven't seen very many games on television since July first. Frankly, I think they're doing me a favorite because I don't need to be watching. Zacharai is sitting
with the nineteen ninety nine. I'm happy for Sheeta, but not so much for Soreya challenging for the title at all, in because she barely wrestles. That means she's got no momentum. L Ol. I'm just really missing Jamie Hayter, so call me a hater. Sheita ought to retain the Winston slip current era. Who has your favorite wrestling attire? That's an interesting question. Favorite wrestling attire whatever FTR was wearing. A couple of weeks ago, they
were wearing the Heart Foundation gear. They had the Heart Foundation skulls on the back and everything. Can I can? I picked? I know it was like a one time thing. Am I allowed to pick that? Because I'd probably go with that. Zachariah says during Dark Side of the Ring last night, I made a new drinking game. Every time you hear Vince Brusso say, bro, they could drink or shot depending on what you are drinking. Well, if you play that game, I would recommend not drinking alcohol,
otherwise that is not going to be a very good night for you. Yeah. I'll have a lot to say about Dark Side of the Ring on Sunday, as you can imagine, I already said something about it on Twitter. Early. Libido bell is back. I got to talk to Lex Luger at the con. I asked how he got so swollen. He said, five days in the gym, and plenty of protein. Both laughed because quote protein. Yeah, there you go, protein and salads and just healthy eating.
There you go at a lot of real chicken. Probably a lot of vitamins too, right, Yeah, I'd like to get in my hands on those vitamins. U Lugar is the one who I heard one many years ago, had the trick where if he said before he would go after his matches, he would have Reese's Peanut butter Now, because there's something about the Reese's Peanut butter cup that would make vascularity come out on his arms, something with the veins, So he would actually eat one of those before he would go out,
and then he would just look like completely jacked. I don't know what it is that's in there, but apparently it's I don't know if it's the sugar, I don't know. I don't know what it is. Doctor Scorpio says she'd did not deserve the wind, she was not a good champion, and then she won't beat good Oh, she was not a good champion. Then she will not be a good champion. Now then he says congrats to her. At the end, she said, so doctor Scorpio is just a
troll. You're gonna piss off all the sheet of fans in the chat ozing Gloria is good to endorse watching AW pay per views at the movie theater if you can. It's only twenty to twenty five dollars plus, always meet fool folks and there's never any technical issues. Yeah, twenty to twenty five dollars, but then you gotta pay for food, right, so how much? How much is the food? One of the reasons I stopped going to the movie A near same here is with us in the chat. Good to see
it and Trill Mexican with the ten dollars super chat He's solo. I could be wrong, but I doubt it because I was there live. But the Karasheeda did defend the AW women's title of Double or Nothing twenty twenty one against DMD in front of a large crowd. That be that she is a two time shat. I don't remember when they started doing big crowds again. WWE did not start until July of twenty twenty one, so if AW beat them
to the punch, then it could very well be. But I didn't think they started up in front of live crowds again until a little bit, a little bit after that, but the majority of her run, though, was spent working in front of no people and the coup. Kneeds your take. Who will be the first Mexican born a W champion, Phoenix, Penta, Ruche Andrade, the Kingo or Bandeta. I have my money on El Toro Blanco. It's not gonna be Phoenix, not gonna be Penta, It's not
gonna be the Kingo, and I don't think it's gonna be Bandido. It's either gonna be Rouche or Androde, and honestly, I don't I don't know that it's going to be either of those guys. I don't know that it's going to be either one of them. But if I had, if I had to choose between who it would be, I'm with you. I think it would be Ruche. I think he has the best chance out of all of them, but I don't necessarily see any of them being aw world change
retro koage. If I recall, the Lugar Reeses Cup thing was his superstition slash myth. He did it for the blood Sugar boot or the Blood Sugar Boost, but I think that was disprove Maybe he just did it because they taste fucking good. That may have been it. Yaw, you work out like a beast. I'm sure having a couple of Reese's peanut butter cups is not going to wreck your diet. And Naughty Delicious Chicken with flavor, I
have a change of heart. Now for the g one climax, I'm predicting Ocata against David Finley in the finals Ocata three pizza as the g one climax with Well, there you have it. Gonna hold you to that. That's the official Naughty Delicious prediction. You can't change your prediction. Now. It's final answer. Everyone who wants to be a millionaire. You gotta lock it in. That's it. You've made your pick. I'm gonna hold you to
that, all right. So the goal tonight for be the Booker was four hundred, and we are we are actually getting pretty close to five hundred. So that is very cool. And so for this very special Dynamite two hundred edition, let us go ahead and be the booker. Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time to be the booker. It is time to be the book are very appropriate. We have the elite to ring in tonight's second newly signed Let's see all this talk about Rush. You know Rushe's in here.
Rush'snt be the booker. Maybe we'll land on El Toro Blanco tonight to find out kick things off with? Well, how about that? There he is? Everybody newly signed to a E W M R AW world champion himself could not have scripted that any better. Kenny Omega kicks us off and be the booker. Man, when you got it, you got it. If I did that fifteen times and I wanted to land an Omega, I wouldn't have landed it on Omega. There he is. It's hard to fail though it's
you picked Kenny Omega. You'd have to really land on somebody horrible. I think to get the buzzer, Kenny Omega against Kane, I'm gonna I'm gonna give it the bell. Not this version of Kane. This was the last version of Kane. It was not very good. But if we're talking Kenny Omega against like classic Cane, and I think that would have been a very good match. This version of Cane though not so much. But I'll give it the bell. Kenny Omega and Cane is how we start things off here
and be the booker. Give us like a new Japan Kenny against like two thousand and two Cane. I think that'd be a pretty badass match. Over on the ladys side, we begin with the banished, exiled Tessa Blanchard. What is she up to these days? I know she was supposed to be part of the whole Wow Women of Wrestling things. She fucked that up. It's surprised. I don't know what she's up to these days. But talk about a falling star. Talk about somebody who was on an upward trajectory in
the wrestling industry and then crashed and burned. Tessa blanchert one on one with Stacy Keibler. That's a big pile of nope. That actually sounds like a terrible match. Pick ourselves a tag team, pick a good one. Let's pick a good one. Well, Gerald Briscoe and the first Intercontinental Champion. It says so right there on his shirt, Rio de Janeiro, pat Patterson,
it is the Stooges. Everybody, it is the Stooges. Patterson and brisco against Yokozuna and Owen Hart. I think Owen would make that match a lot of fun. I'm giving that the Bell. I don't give a shit. I don't care. Owen and Yoko against Patterson and Briscoe would be entertaining as all ill. I'm giving that the Bell two out of three would be the Booker. And again again the women drag us down. I don't know what it is. I don't know what it is with the women's be the
booker. This is terrible. People are shocked. They are shocked that I gave that the Bell. You mean to tell me you wouldn't want to see Yoko's donna give pat Patterson a bond's eye dropped. You wouldn't want to see the shenanigans that would ensue with Owen Hart. No, I didn't say new Japan Cane, clean your ears. I said New Japan Kenny Omega against two thousand and two cane. There is no such thing as New Japan cane. Now that I think about it, I don't even know what that would look
like. What would New Japan can look like? I can't even fathom that, Doctor Scorpio. Congrats on that indie outlaw mud show, blood Loving Secondary Company reaching two hundred episodes the long way. That's what Triple h would say Treill Mexican says double or nothing. Twenty twenty one was the first time aw were at full capacity. I used to go to the Pandemic shows at Daily's place, and then they started traveling back on the road in July with a
show in Miami, So there you go. Del Fuego was there tonight. So glad I got to see some TNA wrestlers tonight that I haven't in ten years. And Naughty Delicious says Omega versus Kane. Jim Cornette, Kevin Patrick and Wade Barrett doing color commentary for the match. What a group that is? Kevin Patrick, Wade Barrett and Jim Cornette. Jim Cornett doing a Kenny
Omega match? That would be most interesting? Do you think he would be able to bite his tongue and contain his sheer hatred for the man to even pretend to put him over on commentary? Could Jim Cornett control his murderous rage if he was forced to be on commentary for a Kenny Omega match? A justin thank you, brother, thank you for hanging out with us tonight.
