Last week was one of the worst episodes of AW Dynamite that I have seen in a very long time. A very boring show. Tonight not boring at all. Actually, we had a pretty noteworthy show with some great in ring action and nice combination, I thought. But that does not mean that there
were not some plot holes in tonight's edition of AAW Dynamite. For example, why we would have Switchblade Jay White ten days before he challenges MJF for the AW World Heavyweight Championship willingly putting his title shot on the line in the main event against Mark brisco simply by asking for it. Mark Briscoe said, look, I want to wrestle Jay White, and I want J White to put
his title shot on the line, and he did. That was very generous of him, was very generous of the Switchblade to put his title shot on the line just because he asked for it. Of course you won. I don't think anybody watching that made event tonight expect it otherwise. J White is still going to full gear to challenge for the AW World title, but it still doesn't make much sense. And then there was the Devil. Now we have seen the Devil making appearances on the show going back many many weeks their
brief he'll show up in the Devil mask and they'll cut away. But they're really dragging this out right. This is almost like they're who ran down Stone Cold storyline, And much like that storyline from nineteen ninety nine, I'm almost positive that Tony Kahan and aw does not exactly know who they want the Devil to be, or at least they're changing aspects of the story en route to
getting there. And I'll tell you why, because what we had at the end of the show tonight was MJF cutting a promo on Jay White after j White picked up his win, and they cut to the backstage area and in the back we see all of the Devil's henchmann dressed in all black. This is what we saw the very first time that the Devil made an appearance. He had his cronies and they were beating up Bullet Club Gold. That was
the first time we saw them. Right well, tonight they were attacking the Acclaimed and Billy Gunn in the back and they took poor Anthony Bowens and they threw him through a glass window. They threw him through a glass window. I wonder if it was real Glass, I think I just figured out who the devil is. I think I just figured out who the devil is. And you know AEW was going to be in Chicago on the eve of Thanksgiving. They're going to be in Chicago in two weeks time. What a place
it would be for Jack Perry to make his AAW return. So that's my guess as far as who the d is going to end up be. But we shall see if it is indeed Jack Perry. But I said, you know, plot holes. I was talking about plot holes and things that don't really make a lot of sense. After the attack, when we saw the acclaim laid out MJF, he ran to the back, right, Oh my god, I can't believe this is going on. And he ran to the
back to go help his friends out. An ex caliber on comment it was an ex Caliber or Tony Schiavanni might have been ex Caliber On commentary who made the comment that whoever helps MJF is in harm's way. And I thought to myself, that's that's weird because the first time we saw all the henchmen attack anybody behind the scenes, it was Jay White. They attack Switchblade. Switchblade is hardly a friend of mjf's, so it's almost as if that they are.
It's like the storyline is shape shifting as we go along here, which is why I say aspects of this story and who it is and who it may end up being, I think are evolving, because that line didn't really make a whole lot of sense considering the first person we saw these guys attack is mjf's arch rival, so that was very strange, and again that's what makes me think that this story maybe is not quite finished or has undergone some
changes as far as Tony Kahan wanted to be. But that is how the show went off the air tonight, and we also had MJF on the show defending the AW World Heavyweight Championship in the opener against Daniel Garcia. We had Samoa Joe defending his Ring of Honor television title against Keith Lee the Battle of the Bulls. This is the match I was looking forward to on the show
tonight. Not the best match on the show, those honors go to Swerve, Strickland and Penta, but I enjoyed seeing Samoa Joe go one on one with Keith Lee and after five hundred and seventy five days as the Ring of Honor World Television Champion. Samoa Joe is no longer of Honor World Television Champion. But that does not mean that Keith Lee is Keith Lee lost. Samoa Joe beat him, and then he promptly vacated the Ring of Honor television title, to which I say, and all UTNA fans out there are going to
appreciate this reference. Basically, Samoa Joe, he cashed in option ce. You know what option see is he gave up one title in pursuit of another. And I'll tell you what, There's gonna be a lot of divided opinion about this and how it makes the Ring of Honor television title. Look, I will tell you just from my perspective, I don't give a shit how it makes the Ring of Honor television title. Look. I loved it.
I thought it was a great move. Samoa Joe no longer has to be weighed down by the Ring of Honor wagon that has been hitched to him now for the better part of six hundred days. And I know this, Samoa Joe, He's a legend and Ring of Honor, he's in many ways he's been mister roh, and that's been great for Ring of Honor. You know what, five hundred and seventy five days is Ring of Honor Television champion is more than enough. And it's about damn time that we got Joe back proper
on AW television without having Ring of Honor attached to him. I am in favor of this move. You know who else I hope follows suit Athena let her give up her women's championship and make her way over to AW television as well. She should have been there a long time ago. She's basically in hiding right now, so I hope Athena follows suit. But I have no issue with Joe vacating the Ring of Honor television title in pursuit of MJF and
the AW World title, even though he probably won't win that title. But it's a move that I don't mind. And for the people who are against it because of how they now, it's fair to say that if you're a Ring of Honor fan, you may not like the way that they went about doing it. I will agree that if Joe is just going to come out and vacate the title, I'm not sure why he had to go through beating Keith Lee first and then doing what he did. He could have just come
out and cut a promo and vacated the title. But I'm not gonna sit here and argue against getting Samoa Joe against Keith Lee. We got a good match on the show tonight. I'm not going to complain about that. But Joe no longer having that title is a good thing. Maybe not for the title, but I don't care about the title. I care about what they do with Samoa Joe on AEW television. I watch AW television a hell of a lot more than I watched Ring of Bonners, So excuse me if I
don't give a shit what they do with the ROHTV title. I loved it. I thought that was the right move to make. And Mariah May from stardom. There were some rumblings about her several weeks ago, about what she was gonna do and if she was gonna sign possibly with AW. Well, it is official. Mariah May is all elite. She made her debut in a backstage segment tonight on Dynamite and they're actually doing it. Remember the idea
that I pitched. I pitched the idea of bringing her in as an understudy Tony Storms, and they are in fact doing a storyline where she is Tony Storm's biggest fan. Now, she didn't get to see her tonight. She was very upset about that, but they are clearly doing something with her and Tony Storm, and I could not be happier. I think that's that's gonna be a great role for her. And by the way, that is a quality pickup for the AW Women's division. I can only hope that Tony Kahan
makes good use of her. She doesn't end up relegated into the background like so many other people on this very bloated roster. Bloated because he clearly doesn't know what to do with half the people that he has under contract. But Mariama being an AAW is a big deal for that women's division. And again, I love what they did here. It was a backstage segment. It was not a lot of glitz and glamour and stuff like that. But you
got to understand something. There's a lot of people who don't know who Mariama is. You can say the name Mariah May, you can run a video package for her. That's fine. It could have gone that route if they wanted to. Wouldn't have made a lot of sense though, if they want to link her up immediately with Tony Storm. But a lot of people are
not going to know who mariam A is. Tony's Storm right now is one of the most popular acts in the entire company, so I failed to see how this is a negative by linking immediately linking her up with one of the most popular stars that Tony Khan has on his roster. I said she could be her understudy. So when Tony Storm can't wrestle or can't work, she broke a nail, She's tired, right, she has to go lay down, she's dehydrated. That's where Mariah May steps in for her genius. I
hope that's the direction they go in with it. So there was a lot to like about this episode of Dynamite. It wasn't perfect, but it was a big improvement over the show that we got last week. So let's dive into it. This is your aw Dynamite review. It is Wednesday, November eighth, two thy and twenty three. I am the Solemn Monster. By the way, the strike is over, John Cena and the Rock can go back to work now. The movie Studios and SAG after I have reached an
agreement said to be a three year deal. I guess it'll become official. I think as of twelve oh one am just a couple of hours here. But for those of you who are not aware, the strike is over. Hollywood is now going to go back to work, and that is unfortunate for WWE. They were hoping to get more John Cena on television. But I'm very happy about that. I'm sure a lot of people are very happy about that. So that's good news. Like and subscribe four hundred likes as the
goal for being the booker. Tonight, super chats are open. I thank you. I see them popping up on screen here right all up in my face, So thank you for that. And we'll be going through that a little bit later on. We got a cold open to the show tonight with Tony Shavani. He was in the back to introduce us to the eight EW World Champion MJF and he talked about being pinned by Jay White in that tag match last week, and he promised that that would never ever happen again.
So then he got a phone call and it was Adam Cole, and so he told them to put the clip up on the screen. Cole was up on the screen before he even finished his sentence, so, boy, they got him up on that screen awfully quick. So he was concerned. Adam Cole was very concerned about MJF going into full gear and he told him that, look, I think you ought to really take Samoa Joe up on his
offer to be your partner and be your friend and watch your back. And MJF refused and he said he didn't need him before he was promptly interrupted by Daniel Garcia, Matt Monard and Angelo Parker. Tonight it was MJF against Garcia for the championship. So this was a match made after Daniel Garcia issued the
challenge last week. And this is kind of like the markin Brisco thing I just talked about where he said, hey, you know Jay White, he wanted a match with Jay White, and you know the full gear title shot would be on the line. It's like why why? Right? So here you have Daniel Garcia that Daniel Garcia has been teaming up with Matt Minard and Angelo Parker for a while and he's been doing the dance, the stupid dance that he does on TV, so it's not like he hasn't been around.
But he issued the challenge to MJF last week to a match for the AW World Championship, which I'll talk more about that in a second. MJF told him, you know why I agreed to give you that shot, because it's talent over tenure, and you remind me a little bit of myself. He only wanted to know would we be getting Daniel Garcia, the pro wrestler or would we be getting Daniel Garcia the sports entertainer, and Garcia said that we
would be getting the pro wrestler and the three heels. They walked off Minard Parker Garcia. When Roderick Strong got wheeled in by Matt Tavin and Matt Bennett or Mike Bennett and Mike David however you want to say, the Kingdom, they wheeled him on in, Roddy was screaming for Adam. MJF made a quick exit. He was gone like the wind, and Roddy saw Adam Cole up on the screen. He told him the devil would walk away exactly the way that MJF just did. Did you see that? And with that Adam
Cole ended the call, Roddy got pissed. He looked into the camera to tell us it's time. It's time that he reminded the world just who the hell that he is. And so we had MJF defending the AW World Championship against Daniel Garcia. That was the opening match of the night. So, as I said, Garcia issued the challenge, MJF accepted. But think about this, Daniel Garcia got a win on Rampage over Trent Barrett. You would have to go back all the way to the month of May. Okay,
Daniel Garcia. Prior to the win, trend Peretta had not had a singles match on AW television since a loss in May to Roderick Straw. Since then, it's been a bunch of tag matches and trios matches, no singles matches prior to last Friday. You would have to go back six months and all of a sudden, this guy's on this show here tonight and he's challenging for the AW World Championship. I appreciate that we are getting to see MJF on television in the ring more often. We used to joke about the fact he
got the greatest contract in the World. We would never see MJF in the ring on television, right, He was like, what kind of contract does this guy have? So I like the fact that we get to see him more often, and I like the fact that we get to see the aw World title defended on TV from Tom to Tom. I think that's great. Right. We have the opposite of that on SmackDown right now with Roman Reigns.
I'm not saying that he should be defending his title every other week, but boy, it would be nice every now and then to have a bone thrown our way for spack Down, but we don't have that. So I like the fact that we have that here on this show, but I wish that we had some kind of mechanism to better decide who gets a title match
and who doesn't. I wish we had a situation here where Daniel Garcia could have gone in there and won some kind of a meaningful match to become number one contender, or I mean, Jay White technically is number one contender, but to win the right to challenge for this championship instead of just beating Trent Barretta, which I mean, okay, he beat Trentperetta, who gives a fuck, and then he cut that passionate promo. I saw the promo.
I went back and I watched the promo from Rampage. But again, it would be nice if we had more of a meaningful explanation for why somebody like Daniel Garcia deserves to be in the ring this close to full gear for the title, instead of him going out there and beating somebody and cutting a promo on a show that can't even get three hundred thousand viewers last week to ninety eight for Rampage, and here he is on Dynamite wrestling MJF for the world
title. That's all I'm saying. So Garcia out wrestled MJF early, and he nearly did his little dance. Matt Minard cut him off. He told him to focus and not to do it. MJF applauded him. He offered a handshake out of sportsmanship, and Garcia slapped his hand away and then teased doing the dance. MJF thund him right in the eye and from there, MJF went to work on Garcia's arm. Garcia mounted a comeback. It a released German sup plex, allowing him to do a one arm dance before planting
MJF with a brainbuster. Garcia got a series of near falls before a pile driver attempt that he couldn't hit because again he had the injured arm, so he was selling the arm, but he had a sayido suplex. Garcia charged into the corner. MJF escaped, hit a double stump to the elbow and an underhooked shoulder breaker amerlock cradle DDT got two. Garcia scrambled out of the
salt of the Earth and the heat seeker. MJF hit the corner superkick, missed a Panama sunrise, which led to Garcia chopping out the legs of the champion, and Garcia planted MJF with a one arm pile driver, got a close two count before sinking in the dragon tamer. MJF was able to counter out of it into the salt of the earth armbar. He wrenched back on it and Garcia tapped out, so MJF retained the aw world title, to the surprise of absolutely nobody. After the match, he offered his hand out
of respect, offered his hand to Daniel Garcia. Garcia was about to shake it, Minard and part why don't mean you know shake it, yeah, shake the hand. So Minard and Parker they stop him, They cut him off and stop him from doing so, and MJF asks Garcia, you're really gonna follow their lead. You're really gonna listen to these two guys, and there was a chant for Daniel Garcia. Garcia tried again to shake his hand, but he was stopped by Parker and Minard, and then all three of
them left the ring. So they went ten minutes in the opener. Here's a very good match for the time that it lasted. H And it looks like, here we are again, we're doing the Daniel Garcia will he or won't he? Sweepstakes? Here we went through this before. We've been burned before, right. I was invested in that storyline with him and Jericho, will he won't he? Is he the pro wrestler? Is he the sports entertainer? Is he gonna turn against Jericho and his group? And here we
are, we're doing the story again. Are we gonna get a resolution this time? Are we gonna get another swerve? Are they just gonna drop it? I don't know. I hope not. I hope whatever they're building to here we actually get a resolution this time? Instead of what they gave us last time. We had Sting in Darby Allen, a rare Sting match on television and one of the last ones. Sting in Darby Allen. They took on the Beverly Brothers. No, I'm sorry, it wasn't the Beverly It
looked just like the Beverly Brothers to me. You could have fooled me. They claimed it was this group called the Outrunners. I don't know. It looked like the Beverly Brothers to me. They called themselves Truth, Magnum and Turbo Floyd. This was Sting's first match. Ex Caliber shared this bit of information with us on the broadcast, courtesy of Jim Valley. He said that this was Sting's first match in Portland since nineteen eighty nine when he challenged Rick
Flair for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. And as you can see in this photo, as you could see in this picture, not a lot of people in the building. That not. I think they had about two thousand people in the venue. But even rowdy Roddy Piper showed up. Look at that right in the middle of the ring. Piper. Of course, I mean Portland used to be his old stomping ground. That's where he cut his teeth in the wrestling business. So he always had a connection to Portland where Roddy
Piper showed up. This was in January of eighty nine. He was back in WWE two months later, Remember he appeared to WrestleMania five. He did Piper's pit brother Love was on there. Morton Downey Junior, who used to host the popular talk show I think Jerry Springer. That was Morton Downey Junior back in the day. But there you go, a piece of history right there, Stinging Flair, Pyper Piper. When he came back in eighty nine, he was in better shape than he was the first time he was in
WWE from like eighty nine to ninety two. Actually, you know when he had that matter of brat at WrestleMania, he was in the best shape of his career. Anyway. Floyd and Magnum, they got the upper hand on Darby and we allowed chance from the crowd here of we want Sting. Floyd took too long to deliver a sup flax, and while Darby was still upside down, he reached out and he blind tags Sting into the match, and Sting saved him. Sting no soled a double back elbow. He just stood
there. Then he pounded his chest and the outrunners posed. They didn't realize that Sting was standing behind them. We got dueling Stinger and coffin splashes in the corners from Sting and Darby before Sting sank in the scorpion deathlock on Floyd for the submission. The fans wanted to see Sting, they got to see Sting. And now it is on to Collision, where Sting and Darby and
Adam Copeland are going to team up one time before full gear. They're gonna be taking on Lance Archer and the Righteous, which, if he didn't watch Collision, that is Jake the Snake Roberts new crew Lance Archer, who had a match with Darby Allen and lost. He lost to a man half his size who has a supposedly fractured shoulder, and still Lance Archer could not pick up the win, so he loses. And then Jake Roberts says, well, I have two other people that I want you to meet, and he
brings out Vincent and Dutch. So now Jake has his own little evil faction, which is all well and good it's not like they're doing anything else with him. But again, I said this on the podcast on Sunday, I don't know why if you were gonna do that, you would have Lance Archer lose to Darby Allen. I don't give a shit that Darby has a match on the pay per view and Archer doesn't. Doesn't matter. Guys in there, he's got a bum shoulder. The least you can do is put Lance
Archer over and then have Jake Roberts announce that he's expanding his family. So now they're gonna go in there their first match together as a team, and they're probably gonna fucking lose. Way to go well, at least I'm hoping for this though. This may be the first time we get a face off here between Staying and Jake Roberts since Halloween havoc in the coal Miners glove match. That could be something, right if we get a little face to face
between them. Tony Schavanni was backstage earlier today. Tony Shavanni probably called that match. He was probably ringside calling that match ninety two, right. Would he have been doing commentary on the pay per views back then? Probably so. Tony Chevanni was backstage earlier today in Black and White by the request of Tony Storm, with Tony and Hikarushita to talk about their upcoming Women's World title match and sign the contract for full Gear. Shei'dah wondered what happened to you?
What happened to Tony? And she says she's still upset about what happened. It all in and she vowed to become the first three time women's champion in aw history. Tony signed the contract, as did Sheitah, who said that what will happen is what will always happen, which is that she will beat Tony Storm at full gear. And Tony said, chin up, tits out and watch for the shoe, and then Sidah smacked the shoe out of her hand. We had swerve strict always watch for the tits. Oh I
not watched. I'm sorry. I watched her catchphrase. It's watch for the shoe. That's what I What did I say? Watch? What did I say, watch for the tits? Well you should do that too, watch But I see I like that better. I'm going to amend Tony Storm's catchphrase and co opt it for myself. That's my new catchphrase watch for the Tits, Swerve Strickland one on one with Penta l Zero Miato. Excl Are said that due to now this was great. Okay, so this is another one
of these lapses in logic and all I could do is just laugh. Excliber informs us that due to Swerve and Prints Nana breaking into Hangman Page's home is to think about this. They acknowledge that he broke and entered into this man's house where his family dwells, where his child was sleeping. Suppose it because
of this, Hangman Page is banned from ringside for this match. So I love that Seemingly Nana and Swerve faced absolutely no consequences for breaking into this man's home, but it's Hangman who is barred from ringside because of what he might do during this match. Make it make sense, Make it make sense. Penta started a chop exchange show a Swerve stomped on the hand to put a stop to that. Penta fought back with a backstabber that sent Swerve outside,
but as he went to go dive, Swerve cut him off. I think it was with a forearm. Penta, though, did finally hit a somersault dive that took us into a commercial break and coming out of commercial, Swerve countered. They made him Penta, and Penta countered out of the JML driver right, so a little tit for tat again tits out, so pent To hit multiple sling blades before hitting a fireman's carry jackhammer for two. Swerve was
sent crashing outside. Penta followed with a crazy springboard destroyer from the ring to the apron. I don't even know what I just saw. I just know it was wild. Penta then hit a top rope double stop and Strickland, though kicked out at two. So Penta tried for a float over in the corner. Right, So you throw somebody into the corner. They grabbed the top, they propel themselves into the air and normally they'll kind of go back
over their opponent. So he tries in the corner with a floatover, but Strickland he flips Penta's legs over onto the top turn buckle and so on his way down, Penta got folded up and he landed right on top of his head, and that looked brutal and not in a good way. So, with Pentan now hung up, Swerve hit a slingshot double stomp to the floor before missing a four to fifty splash. Back in the ring with Penta trapping and snapping the arm back made in Japan, connected for a super close near
fall. Strickland countered a fear factor attempt, this time into a power bomb position, and then he maneuvered Penta into position for a death valley driver. He dropped him for the DVD before getting paidback by snapping Penta's armback, and from there the Swerve stop connected off the top rope and Swerve Strickland picked up the win. After the match, Strickland was about to take off pent his
mask. He started untying it when Hangman appeared with a chair because now the match is over, right, he was barred from ringside for the match. Now he's here after the match, He's got a steel chair. He starts swinging wildly. Nana and Strickland bailed, only Nana got away. Hangman caught up to Swerve on the ramp. He blasted him in the back with a chair shot, and then he picked him up and he connected with a dead eye off the ramp, threw a table on the floor down below, and
Hangman kept screaming that Swerve was a dead man. He may be after that dead eye. So this was fucking great. This was an excellent match. This was the best match on the entire show. We got some innovative offense here. We know Pent is great, Swerve is fantastic, and the Swerve run continues. Big win over Hangman Page at Wressel Dream. He's been featured prominently on television every single week. He's had a couple of great television matches
since then, including the one here against Pent on this show. And he's got the rematch with Hangman coming up now in ten days of full gear, which my guess is he's probably going to lose. What I would like to see, though, is Tony Kahan have some balls when it comes to making this decision here and have Swerve go over Hangman for a second time. Let Hangman lose twice. Let's Swerve beat him twice, because Swerve is the one going into twenty twenty four who could be one of your top players in this
company. Now, it's not as if if he goes in there and loses the Hangman, that up, that's it. He's done for right. At worst, they're tied at one win apiece, and it would be an excuse to do a third match, which wouldn't be so bad. And don't forget we have Winter Is coming in December and then World's End on pay per view at the end of the month, so they could very well be setting up
for a rubber match between these two. But I think it would be fantastic if Swerve went in there and he beat him again and then he moved on to something else, because Swerve is shaping up to have a very big twenty twenty four and it's about damn time. He's one of those guys who's been hanging around for a while. You wouldn't get to see him very often. It's like they didn't either know what to do with him or just didn't know
what the best way was to feature him. But I'm happy that over the past few months he's finally found his groove and Tony Kahan has been consistent with him, and he is going to be one of the big players for them in twenty twenty four. As long as they play their cards right, so far, so good, we'll win at full gear though. That would be pretty big. That'd make a pretty big statement right there, that Wressell dream was not a fluke. Now I beat you twice. So Alex Marvez was
backstage with Bullet Club Gold and Jay White said he watched collision. He mocked MJF and he said MJF searches his own name online in hopes of appeasing all of his insecurities. White said that he will always be better than MJF. And he said he's truly elite, and we'll show that against Mark Briscoe later
tonight. We got a video package for next week's street fight with Kenny Omega, Chris Jericho, Code Amboushi, and Paul White taking on the don Kallis family, and we heard Don Kallis narrating and doing the talking here, and they spliced in throughout the video package. They went back and forth. They spliced in footage from the new Like a Dragon Guiden video game. I take it that is the new Yakuza game. They're calling it the Like a Dragon
Guiden street Fight next week. So this is this is basically tantam out to what WWE does when they have a Cinnamon Toast Crunch match. It's their sponsored match next week on the show. I would say that this Like a Dragon game though, is it's cooler than Cinnamon Toa's Crunch. But hopefully, like what they did with Cinnamon Toa's Crunch, they don't just have a demo of the game playing up on the videotron for the length of the match. So
Renee was backstage with the Golden Jets, Kenny Omega and Chris Jericho. And if you're like me, you're probably wondering Golden what? And I was educated by certain people earlier today, so thank you for that. I had to be educated that it is a play on the Winnipeg Jets. They have an ice hockey team called Winnipeg Jets, and of course Jericho and Omega they have ties to Winnipeg, right, They came up in Winnipeg, so hence the name. They said that next week is the Final Boss Battle. Once Jericho
started talking here, he was immediately cut off by the young Bucks. Thank you, hey, Jacob Donnelly, thank you for the twelve bucks. Brother, good to hear from you. Yes, this is the Sega sp sponsorship. We all know what happened the last time we had a sponsorship on this show with the Texas Chainsaw massacre. We all know what happened there. Let's hope we don't have a repeat of that next week. Sometimes these sponsorships don't
go the way that we hope. But Matt Jackson showed up with his brother Nick, and Matt made fun of their Golden Jets name and brought up another name, the Elite. Have you forgotten about the Elite? And Jericho said, if he recalls, it was all four of them who started aw because Matt Jackson said, you know, the Elite were the guys you started this whole thing, and Jericho said, actually, all four of us started this thing, and Matt said it was typical Jericho taking credit and cashing a big
check. Jericho reminded Matt who he's talking to and said that he still thinks Jericho at Omega could beat the Bucks. Matt and Nick then issue a challenge for Full Gear. I was wondering when we're gonna get around to this, because you've got a pay per view in California. You know the Bucks are going to have a big match on the show. We're ten days out, and there was no mention up until now of any kind of match for them. So they threw down the challenge, and Jericho said why why don't we
sweetened the pot a little bit? When we win that guaranteed tag team title match that you guys have been hanging on to for a while, you've been sitting on. That goes to us, it goes to Jericho and Omega. Matt said, well, when we win, the Golden Jets are no more and we get back to the elite, no more of this, and we get back to being a group again. So Kenny Omega, who's standing there the whole time and he looks completely depressed and uncomfortable by what's going on,
Kenny Omega speaks. He said, the Bucks, you guys are the greatest tag team of all time. You get no argument out of me. I don't want to fight you. You guys are the best as far as tag teams go. But if you're asking me if I think I can beat you, he said, We've been down that road before. I've already done it. He mentioned Heboushie and Hangman. He goes already done it before. And Omega took issue with the Bucks attitude and said, maybe they'll start acting like
real adults instead of a bunch of sissy, whiny, bitchy children. The young Bucks acting like children. I don't think that's the first time they've been accused of that, maybe the first time on television. So Omega said that he thought the Bucks needed to hear that from someone like him, and he said that he would see them in La he walked off. Jericho said he'll be glad to take the Bucks to the woodshed and beat their spoiled asses.
By the end of this, Omega looked a lot more comfortable than he did at the beginning of this segment as he was telling the Bucks off. This is a simple way of setting up a pretty big tag team match for full gear. Omega and Hangman against the young Bucks is still one of the best matches in the history of this company from Revolution in twenty twenty, so we know what Omega and the Bucks can do when they're on opposite side to the
ring together. This time it's Jericho instead of Hangman. Jericho does to move around like Hangman. Hangman's a young men compared to him. So I'm not gonna go out on a limon say that it's gonna be as good or better than the Revolution match. But given the four involved here, I think it's safe to say that We're gonna get an excellent match from these four full gear,
so I'm looking forward to that. We had Samoa Joe against Keith Lee for the Ring of Honor World Television Championship, another Ring of Honor title here defended on an aw program. Both men took turns colliding on shoulder tackles and Joe got an ipoke that led to his Lee came back. He flattened Joe. Joe came back and lit him up with punches, and then Keith Lee got a leap frog dropped down and a crossbody that sent Joe scrambling to the
floor, and that took us into the commercial break back. From the break, Lee unleashed corner strikes. Joe responded with a sitout knee breaker. Keith Lee tried fighting back, but a dragon screw floored him. Joe went for his usual combo of the man hot meant man hot and drop the Manhattan drop watch for the tits. He hit the Manhattan drop at a big boot, but Lee was ready for the sent on. Joe does that running sent on right, he says. As soon as Joe fell, Keith Lee grabbed him
and he picked him up, hit a released German souplex. Both men slugged it out before Lee planted Joe with a pop up power bomb for a close two count. Lee wanted the ground zero, but Joe got free. He locked in the Cookina clutch and Keith Lee passed out. We got a ref stoppage here, Samoa. Joe retains his Ring of Honor World Television title in a battle of the Big Man which I quite enjoyed, and I enjoyed what came after the match was over. Joe takes the microphone tells the crowd that
he is the greatest Ring of Honor Television champion of all time. He said he didn't come here to merely be the television champion. He said, hungry defines the greats, and he is officially hungry. And he then announced that he was vacating the Ring of Honor World Television Title. He placed the belt down on the mat. He said, the next gold on his shoulder will
be the AEW World Championship. Whether MJF likes it or not, It's like that little kid who told the British Bulldog back at Wembley in nineteen ninety two, the British Bulldog is going to beat at heart, whether he wants to or not. Samoa Joe shares a similar message here for MJF, so he went with option C. I mean, look, you could take the star out of TNA, but you can't take the TNA out of the Star. Joe spent enough years there that it's kind of ingrained in him, right,
It's in his blood. You can't take it out. Once it's in, you can't get it out. I love it. I love it, and as I said, now, we just need Athena to do the same thing with her women's title. I'm glad that we have Joe back on aw Television full time now hopefully and divorced from the Ring of Honor stuff. I'd rather see him on AWTV. But you know, again, him vacating the championship as opposed to losing it, it's not hard to see why Tony Kahan did
it the way that he did. You may not agree with it, but the logic behind it is Samoa Joe is being protected for whatever is about to happen with him and MJF. Right, and this was not the last time we saw Joe on this show. We'll get to that later. But if Joe is gonna be hanging around the world champion, if Joe is gonna be possibly teaming up and best friends with the world champion, if he's gonna be challenging for the aw world title. Tony Kahn does not want Samoa Joe to
go in there and get pinned. He doesn't want him to go in there and lose to Keith Lee or anybody else. I get it, I understand it. So the only thing I would have done differently is and again it would have deprived us of the match, although you could have still done the
match later on, it didn't have to be for a championship. I'm glad we got Joe and Keith Lee. But if he was just gonna come out and give the belt up anyway, I don't know why he had to go through the whole battle with Keith Lee first, only to then dump the belt on the mat. But again, him giving up the world title or the TV title has ever to do with protecting him for an eventual world title match
with MJM. And It's look, it's be like if Gunther came on television next week on Raw and said, you know what, there's no challengers left, right the Miz just won a four way match on Raw Monday Night. Who cares the mis he sucks. You know what, I've got bigger aspirations. I'm gonna go after the World Heavyweight Championship after five hundred plus days as the Intercontinental champion, and he laid that title on the mat. I would
have an issue with that. I would have an issue with that because there are still stories. There is a story in particular left to be told with somebody beating Gunther to win that intercontinental title. He has done a masterful job with what they have asked him to do. The booking of Gunther has been perfect for over a year now. They've really built something special with this guy,
and I would hate to see it end like that. That's a different situation, right, There are situations like that where I would not approve of them doing what they did here in this segment. But let's not pretend like we haven't seen this before. You know, Osca, once upon a time was undefeated. She was the NXT Women's champion. There was nobody in NXT who could beat Oscar. And then one day when it came time for her to be called up to the main roster, she stood in the Ring on
NXT television with William Regal, and she vacated the women's championship. It's not as if we haven't seen people holding the NXT titles before who were called up to the main roster and they still dropped their belts. But in Oscar's case, they didn't want to beat her, so she vacated the title. Did it do anything to diminish the NXT Women's Championship? I don't think so,
you know, certainly not in hindsight. But then you look at something like Steve Austin and what he did with the Intercontinental title back in the day, where he basically just dumped. He just gave it to the rock here. I don't want this anymore. I've got greater aspirations. So there are certain situations like that. If it's done a certain way, yes, it could diminish the title. In this case, I'm just being honest. I don't
care about the Ring of Honor television title. What I care about is the story that we are getting right now with MJF and Samoa Joe, and the fact that Joe wants to challenge for the top title in the company, so he should not be going in there and losing. So I'm not upset at the way Tony Kah decided to handle this because again, it's not as if we haven't seen this sort of thing before and in the end everything will be
just fine. Austin and Colton gunn against the Bollywood Boys. I was not expecting to see the Bollywood boys on the show tonight, but they got a big reaction from the crowd. We got a Bollywood We've got a Bollywood boys chant. They did these two dirty because this match was over in seconds. Austin and Colton hit the three ten to yuma after attacking them right at the bell, went right to their finish and they beat the Bollywood boys. They
did them dirty. You couldn't give them something, You couldn't give them a little bit. Come mind. So after the match, the Guns called MJF a liar who has been lying to fans for years, which is not something that a generational talent does. They ran down their resume and called themselves generational talents. Austin called MJF an embarrassment and said that in full gear, the
Ring of Honor tag team titles come to a real tag team. MJF was shown watching in the back and all of a sudden, right behind him. He didn't see him at first. Samoa Joe is standing there and Samoa Joe is smirking MJF season and he just walks off. This week's episode is sponsored by Express vp. Now, if you've never heard of data brokers, let
me school you. They're basically the middleman for collecting and selling all of those digital footprints that you leave behind, and they can piece together detailed profiles that include your browsing history, your online searches, and even your location data.
And then they turn around and they sell your profile off to a company that delivers you a targeted AD And that sounds all well and good until you learn that those same data brokers are also selling your information to the Department of Homeland Security and even the IRS. I pay enough to the tax man, I don't need him knocking on my door, So to mask my digital footprints, I protect myself with ExpressVPN. One of the easiest ways for brokers to tie
your data back to you is through your device's unique IP address. We all have one, at least one, depending on how many devices we have, and they reveal information about your location. So when you're connected to ExpressVPN, your IP address is hidden, which makes it much harder for prying eyes to be able to figure out who you are. ExpressVPN also encrypts one hundred percent of network traffic to keep your data safe from hackers on public Wi Fi.
That's why I use ExpressVPN on all my device's phone, computer, even my WiFi router. All I do is tap one button to turn it on and I'm protected. It's that easy. So make sure your online activity and data is protected with the best VPN money can buy. Monster. To learn more to the back we have John Moxley and Wheeler Yuda. Moxley said that he's been getting calls to let Orange Cassidy off the hook to give him a break, as Cassidy didn't know what he was doing when he won back the international title. Moxley questions the example, though that he would be setting for young you to hear if he doesn't beat the piss out of Orange Cassidy. Moxley then issued a challenge next week for himself and DA
in a tag match against Orange Cassidy and Hook. You'd have said that Hook messed with the wrong crew and said that he'll see Hook and CALLI. So I guess that's official now for full get You know, it's still hard for me to take him seriously in this group. You know, when Moxley speaks, when Claudio speaks, even Danielson, when he speaks and gets all fired up, that's the Blackpool Combat Club. Then he starts talking and it sounds like a kid, you know, it sounds like a kid and his parents.
And now the kid is able to you know, he's getting the kind of promo on the guy like, yeah, you know, that's what I think of when I hear Willer you to speak. Even after all this time, I still can't get over, Still can't get over. Daniel Garcia would have been the better fit, but they elected to go in a different direction.
So we got a Wardlow video package, and he said that his first three years in aaw were a living hell, as they spliced in footage of all the times at MJF tortured him and mocked him and made fun of him and made him do things he didn't want to do. He said it was because he had a foot on his neck. He said his potential was wasted. Yeah, tell me about it. Fuck, I mean, if find
me words Truer words have never been spoken on this show. He said his potential was wasted and he felt worthless, and it's all because of MJF. He said, MJF won't know when or where, but once he finds out, it will be too late. He said that the days of the devil ruling over aew are coming to an end. We shall see. You know, the way that he's been talking, it makes you think that when the day comes that MJF does lose the aw world title, it could be world's
end that Wardlow is going to factor into that in some way. Because he's talking about costing him everything. You won't see it coming. I'm gonna take it away from you. Like that's the kind of a verbiage we're hearing from him. So if it isn't him personally, which I don't think will be, he sure is making it sound like he will play a role in his eventual downfall. So he had Julia Hart against Red Velvet. This was Red Velvet's first match since February. Plot twist. It's Tony Kahan in the mask.
Well, he's got the build for it. We know it's not a very big person under the mask. Velvet fired off a series of arm drags and was working the arm of Julia's start things out here, but Julia rolled through. Both women did the splits, got a stalemate here, they did the splits. They were staring at each other. Julia escaped some corner punches. She pulled vel Its legs out from under her and she went crashing down.
That allowed Julia to control the match. During the commercial break, Velvet mounted a comeback with the leg lariat, the wheelbarrow bulldog, and she ran into a corner back elbow, but she flattened Julia. For the finish, Julia connected with a thrust kick. She went up top and she hit her moon salt for the wind. After the match was over, we got some confusion. I'm confused. So Julia locks on her heartless submission hold even though the match is over, and here comes sky Blue. Sky Blue feels to
me like she's going through her teenage angst face. Well, the makeup on her face. She comes out, she's got an attitude, and you don't know, you don't know what's going on with this girl. So here comes sky Blue. We got a face off in the ring with sky Blue and Julia Hart and they're staring at each other. Nothing is happening. And they're staring at each other and nothing is happening. So now here comes Chris Statlander, the TVs champion, and Willow Nightingale. Willow goes over to help Red
Velvet, so she helps Velvet to the back. Statlander is in the ring. She kind of is now in between the two women, and Julia Hart just ends up walking away. So this was very confusing. And I know that this story has been playing out now across all the shows for several weeks. I'm no more clear on what's going on here. Is sky Blue supposed to be a heel? Is she's supposed to be a babyface because they did a segment on TV where they wanted you to think that she was about to
turn, but then she didn't. But now she's back to doing this and I don't know, I don't know, and honestly, I'm finding it hard to give a shit. I just wish that they would have something better for Chris Statlander to do. Unfortunately they don't. RJ City was backstage and he said that we may have heard rumblings, and the rumblings are true, and he was honored to introduce us to AAW's newest acquisition, Mariah May. Those who don't know, Mariah May has spent a few years in stardom, and
I've only seen a few of her matches. I'm not totally familiar with her entire body of work. I mean, obviously she's you know, she's a beautiful woman and she could talk, but she's also pretty damn good in the
ring too. So this is a big pickup for the women's division. But Mariah May walks in and she says that she's so excited to be in AW and RJ asks her what her plans are and her goals, and Mariah says that she's a big fan of RJ's work with Tony Storm, all those segments that he did with her and the Silent Films and all that, and she said that Tony is the reason why she is a AW And she was like, she was fangirling right, she was marking out for Tony Storm, and
RJ lets her know that Tony just left, but next week he'll introduce the two of them, and she got so excited she planted a kiss on his cheek. What a lucky guy he is, and she was ecstatic that she would get to meet Tony Storm next week. Couldn't they have made a bigger deal out of her introduction? Yes, but I love what it looks like
they are about to do with the two of them. That's why I pitched the idea when I first heard this Mariah May stuff, and I went and I looked up more of her work, and I said, you know, she would be a great pickup for them. And I love the idea of her being brought in as the understudy of Tony Storm. I mean, you might look at it almost like an attrition mickey kind of way. Maybe that's what it ends up being. Maybe she ends up being kind of more and
more of a talker than anything else. But I love the idea of her being the understudy because Tony's going around thinking that she's this big movie star, and so if she follows her around like a little lap dog, Tony could put her to work right when she can't she can't perform, who steps in for her, Mariah May. It's a great way to introduce her because Tony Storm is one of the more popular acts in the entire company right now. I would much rather they do what they did here and link her up with
Tony Storm than just introduce her cold. You know, they could give her a video package and maybe you can get some footage from stardom and she can come to television and she could have a big match and she looks great, and then what happens. She ends up for the next six weeks wrestling on rampage. Maybe she'll get a match on Collision here and there, and she gets kind of lost in the background. I don't want to see that.
I'd rather see her linked up with someone like Tony. That way, she's guaranteed to have a presence on television and I think, frankly, it would be are you entertaining? So this was only the first segment, but I like where this is head and again it's a big acquisition for that women's division picking her up. But very excited to see where they go with this timeless Tony Storm and Mariah May. She needs her own nickname, something with an
m timeless Tony and what something Mariah gotta come up with something. Switchblades J White against Mark Briscoe is our main event on this show. Good to see Mark back from his knee injury that took him out back in July. He had surgery and he recently came back. This was four Switchblades title shot at MJF at full gear, which again was incredibly dumb why he would even agree
to this in the first place, but he did. We had a fast start by Mark Jay White got forced outside to go regroup with his Bullet Club buddies. White tried working ahead block Briscoe easily escaped, fired off some chops. He sent j White outside again and this time Briscoe hit a diving elbow off the eighth excuse me off the apron juice. Robinson took the referee and Colton Gun tried to trip up Jay or Mark Briscoe rather allowed J White to
connect on a DDT. Briscoe fought off a super PLEXI scored on a middle rope drop kick, and Briscoe counter to Uranagi into a Fisherman's buster for a close near fall. J White raked the eyes hit a dragon screw to go after the previously injured knee, and Briscoe, though wasn't down for very long. He had a rolling death valley Driver. He went up. He hit froggy Bow for a two count. Brisco went for the j Driller, but White spun out into a Uranagi and both men were down and we had Juice
Robinson outside the ring. He was screaming for a Kiwi Crusher. White obliged. J White wanted a Blade Runner, but brisco spun out, hit an exploder and a big lariat. White back dropped out of a Jay Driller and connected on a sleeper supplex, followed by a brainbuster, and Mark chopped his way out of blade Runner, could not dodge another sleeper suplex, straight jacket, brain buster, and then finally the Blade Runner put him away. No
doubt about the outcome. Good match, good match, a fine main event, but again no doubt about how this one was going to end up going. Now, after the match, mjf's music hits and Bullet Club Gold, they look up to the ramp. Of course, when that happens, you know that the guy is coming from behind. Everybody can figure it out except for the heels. So MJF comes from behind, and he's got the dynamite diamond ring on his finger, and he ko's the guns and he Ko's juice,
and now it's just him and j White in the ring. He bailed quickly. MJF took the mic. He said, playtime is almost over with Jay White dressing up as a top guy. He said, he'll go down as the greatest aw World champion of all time, and Jay White is going to have to kill him to beat him for the first time in his life. MJF is fighting for everyone that has been on this journey with him since day won. He says he isn't just a scumbag, He's the fans scumbag.
The only question is will j White be the first man to pull the trigger at full gear? Then the lights went out. Tony Kahan didn't pay his electric bill again. Lights come back on and we see the acclaimed in Daddy Ass. They are having their asses handed to them by a bunch of men dressed in all black. The Black Ninjas. They're back. The Ninjas were back, and they were physically bigger. Did you notice they were physically
bigger than they were the last time we saw them? So either they've been eating their wheaties, they've got a needle stuck in their ass, or it's a bunch of different people altogether. Take your pick. So they grabbed Anthony Bowens and they launched him through a plate glass window. And so now Billy Gun is down, Max Castor is down, Anthony Bowens is down. They cut to a shot of the Devil, who was not there with them.
The Devil was elsewhere, and it was just a very quick shot of him in the mask looking at the screen, and they cut back to the ring. MJF. He can't believe what he just saw, so he sprints back to the locker room area and he finds all of his new friends. They're all laid out. He's beside himself. He doesn't know what to do. Samoa Joe shows up. He seems pretty happy, and Samoa Joe walks up.
He said, it looks like the champ is running out of friends, and he laughs and he walks away, and that is how they went off the air. I mentioned at the beginning the comment that I think it was ex Caliber who made the comment about whoever helps MJF is in harm's way, which completely flies in the face of the first time we saw these guys beating
somebody up. They were beating up j White. So again it makes it sound like they have been trying to figure out what this story is or who they want the devil to be. I didn't actually expect that they had kind of finalized who it was that they wanted it to be on day one, and it's like, WWE and the whole storyline about who ran down Stone Call. Now they had a year to figure that one out. They knew they had time to figure it out, and they went with probably the worst possible
choice. They were trying to get a new star over it didn't work. But here that differs from what we saw at the beginning of this story. So now it looks like they want the story to be that whoever they attack is a friend of MJF. So Samoa Joe ends up teaming with them. If he relents and Joe becomes his friend, he becomes his partner. It puts Joe in harm's way if he Joe is the next one to get laid out, right, If that's the story, anybody who gets close to him
gets laid out. I was still leaning in the direction of Roderick Strong this entire time. I thought from day one, if I had to take a pick, who do I think it was? No, I didn't think it was Adam Cole, And no, I don't think it's Cmpunk. My pick would have been Roddy. But after the glass spot, and given the small frame of the person who is in the devil mask and the fact that we have not seen him come back yet to television, I'm sure he's no longer
suspended. I'm thinking the Devil may end up being Jack Perry. Now, who the other guys are? I have no idea who the other guys are, frankly is completely irrelevant. It could just be a bunch of random people that you know, he recruited to be his hitman. You know, it could be anybody. I don't think that's really so important. But as far as the Devil, if it's not Roddy, now leaning in the direction of
JA. But what's great about a story like this is you get people thinking and talking and speculating, and you know, if they really continue to build it up right, they could sell a lot of pay per views potentially when it comes to World's End. If they saved the reveal for world's end. Maybe maybe we find out then who the devil is. Maybe the devil cost him the championship. So it's good to have a story like that because you
have episode of television here. You want that one story hook to keep people guessing and to keep people tuning in. I don't know if this story alone is necessarily helping to keep people tuned in just based on the numbers. It certainly hasn't driven the numbers of the show up. But it's a smart story for them to go with. So we'll see what happens with the devil stuff. But on the whole again, a much better episode, much more digestible, much more interesting. To me. Last week I just thought was a
fucking bore, which is unusual for Dynamite. Know, it's weird. I made a comment the other day, and I have people saying, you know, one bad episode, you make it sound like they all haven't been bad, right, People thinking that every episode of Dynamite it sucked. Now, every episode of Dynamite does not suck. Not Everything on the show makes fucking sense, and I call that shit out when it happens. I'm not a fan of everything they do, but by and large, Dynamite is a good
show. Sometimes it's great, other times it's not. Last week was a miss. Tonight was more of a return to four. Much better show than last week. Now. Rampage coming up on Friday has FTR taking on el e Ho, Del Vikingo and Commander. Collision on Saturday has rush Andraalistico taking on the Workhorsemen. Sting Darby and Adam Copeland take on Lance Archer, Vincent and Dutch. When did Collision turn into Rampage? I mean, my god,
my god, unbelievable. Dynamite Next week has Omega Jericho Ibushi is back and Paul White is getting into the ring and I hope he knows what he's doing after what we saw of him last week. They're gonna be taken on the don Kallis family in a street fight, and we have John Moxley and Wheeler Youda stepping into the ring against Orange, Cassidy and Hook. That's your
lineup for next week. Dynamite Tonight on Twitter sixty six percent thumbs up, thirty three almost thirty four percent thumbs down, with seven hundred and fifty votes in counting in so far, so get those votes in at Sola Monster, What did you think that's I'll tell you what. That's not a great score, but it is a much better score than the one that Dadamite got last
week. Dynamite was sub fifty percent last week, so I would say sixty six percent is an improvement over what we saw last week Wednesday, real glass call crime me a river. That's right, Although that was not real glass tonight. But as soon as I saw the glass, I said, hmm, I wonder, I wonder. All right, let's take a look at your super chats here. I'm sure you guys have some thoughts about all this. Let's start with Roca Will broke a Will, what what are you gonna
do? Hey, bred we have to interrupt. We have a big announcement. We have a major announcement here. Bred Hart, who has been a channel member for twenty months. That's why he's got the red skull. He has a huge announcement. He has renewed his membership to the chat. I would say that's a big announcement right there. Let's give the man a hand. I can get behind that announce I like that. I Hey Brett Hart,
thanks, that's right, Rocca Will greeting solo the Goat. Do you think Tessa Blanchard is on a mission to be a topic on a future Dark Side of the Ring episode now that she has burnt bridges with Triple A and her ex Daga. Well, you know, Conan is a little gossip dis guy. Don't ever tell secrets to Conan if you have something that you want to tell him in Competence Films, because invariably it will end up spilling out on his podcast. I mean, it's great if you're a fan of that
kind of stuff or you're a content creator, it's great content. But he's a little gossip this guy. Yeah, he talked about Tessa supposedly cheating on Daga and that's why they got a divorce. And he doesn't want to bring her back to Triple or bring her into Triple A because he wouldn't want to do that to Daga. I would make him feel weird. I think Tessa just started with CMLL, so she would not be going to Triple A anyway. Yeah. I think Tessa, unfortunately for her, she burned a lot
of bridges a very long time ago. Well, you talk about wasted potential, wasted potentially, you think of someone like velveteen dream and you think of someone like Tessa Bland. You can get a dark side for each one of them. Crypto in poker. If SmackDown leaves Friday night, can you see Collision moving to Friday? Well, I mean Rampage is on Friday, So then what do you do with ramping It wouldn't make much sense to move Collision to Friday and Rampage to Saturday. I mean, I guess they could.
Then you would have a live show on Friday and the tape show on Saturday. But again, you'd have to do something with Rampage. Hopefully not a three hour block either, but I could see it potentially, but you just would have to flip flop the two shows. See, I don't think that's what TVs or t I guess it's on TNT. I don't think that's what TNT wanted though. TNT wanted two hours of live wrestling on Saturday nights, So would they want to flip the show to Fridays? That's the question.
I don't know. Ace of Mastda Kazuma Kiu is all elite, that's right? Yeah, who's a that's right? Peter Mason with a twenty dollars super chat must say this was awesome. Great to see my first aw show live. Awesome show. My question who do you think attacked the acclaim? Also awesome work. Has always been a fan since twenty twelve, Peter. I'm happy that you enjoyed the show because Peter was in the building live and we just talked about the devil. So hopefully that answers your question about who I
think the devil might be. Dick the Cox Johnson Bowen's was thrown through real glass. By the way, real glass prime me a river. I'm still thinking Roca will roscoed pe Coltree with the nine fifty five. A little excited. We've got tickets to wwe Perth. We will be wearing our solemn Monster shirts. That's what I like to hear. That's what I like to hear. Finally, a good reason to break them, says thanks mate for the fantastic content. As always, you are very welcome and I look forward to
seeing you rock in those Solemn Monster shirts. Although I don't know where are you going to be sitting? Am I gonna see you on camera? You're gonna be up in the in the cheap seats. Are any seats cheap these days at WWE events, I see some of these ticket prices and it makes me want to puke. I don't even know are there are there actual affordable tickets anymore to these shows? Even aw in a lot of shows seemed to price people out. Tyler. People are saying Punk is the devil? Lol?
Imagine. Oh, people were saying Punk is the devil before he left data. Why should they say any differently now? Oh, you mean the devil? You mean the devil in the mask? Oh? Jsh five bucks. It is unlikely that it happens at full gear. So do you put the TVs title on Julia a World's End or hold off until Revolution? I don't know that I put the title on Julie at all, but if you're going to do it, I think World's End would be a good place for
it. Paul Carpenter, it's sugar Glass crime your ri. That's right there, you go, Sid Fishy. Can you see Cody winning at WrestleMania of forty in a dusty finish? I see Triple H restarting the match and stealing the thunder by being the savior of the story. I don't know, no, and I think that would be a terrible Landea. I would not do that. Keep it simple. There's an expression, keep it simple stupid.
I subscribe to that theory. You've built this up for so long, You're gonna have so much interference from the bloodline, and there's gonna be plenty of other stuff going on without having to do a Dusty. I would not do that. Peter Mason with the twenty bucks, I gotta say now, seeing AW and WWE both in Portland, I enjoyed AW Live way more, crowd was amazing at the Manda Center Solemn Monster. Which event did you enjoy seeing Live more AW or WWE? As always, you are number one, Peter.
I appreciate that I have been to way more WWE shows than I have AW, but I have been to both. I was at the first Double or Nothing in Las Vegas. I was right there in the third row. That was the Cody and Dustin match and the John Boxley debut. At the end he came through the crowd. It was amazing. It was one of the best live experiences that I've ever had, that first Double or Nothing. But I've been to a lot of great WWE shows. Look, I was
lucky. I got to go to a lot of those old Raws War shows at the height of the Monday Night War, when Austin was rocking and rolling. We're talking ninety eight ninety nine. Can't beat that. I mean, it's hard to top those shows, right, So I got to go to those. I got to go to eight WrestleMania's Royal Rumbles always a fun one to go to. I'm sure this one will be no different in January. I mean, I don't really want to choose because I've had fun in both.
And I've also been to a lot of crappy WWE shows that were kind of fucking boring. Cuts both ways, but I've had fun at both. You can't really choose one over the other. Uh, mister Notorious Chico. This is why I wanted the Elite to go to wweight. Now, now are we doing Kenny in some tag team variation against the Bucks? Again? Shaking my head? Where are the AEW tag teams? I think WWE's tag team division is in a position now where I think you could argue they've surpassed
the AW division. You could certainly make the argument Triple H is taking great pains to really load up that tag team division seems like Tony Khan is going in the other direction. Got a lot of great teams. I mean, the Bucks are there, You've got FTR and then you've got let's see who else you got the Guns. You've got Ricky Starks and Big Bill, which you know they're temporary Team Hena and Ray Phoenix. They're not really teaming up as much. But I mean, I guess you could count the Lutra Bros.
If you want. So. There's a lot of quality teams that are still in the company, but I don't know, doesn't feel like it used to. You know, Derek Jones MJF and Garcia should have just been an eliminator match. Would not have changed anything. Probably would have made more sense at being a champion than it being a championship match. Yeah, I'll guarantee you it didn't make a look of difference in the ratings. They were looking for a ratings bump by putting a title match on there. I don't think
this made a lick of difference. Having Dangle Garcia challenge for the aw World title isn't gonna matter. Give me backshot salomonster Mark Henry's three six Mafia theme is the best wrestling theme of all time. How shocked were you when he beat Orton for the title and his run overall? I was pretty I was
pretty shocked and I was shocked and how clean it was too? Or I mean, Orton really did the honors for him, not only in that match at the September pay per view, which I guess what would that have been maybe clash clash of champions maybe, but then in the hell in a celle match as well, Orton lost I think two or three matches to Mark At. I was happy for him too. The Hall of Pain run was the best run of his career, and unfortunately, like every other run that he
had, it was derailed by injury. It just the wear and tear, the age, the injury, it just it just caught up with him. What that Hall of Pain run was top notch, easily the best run of his career, and I'm glad he got to be a world champion. He
could say that he was a world heavyweight champion. Jacob Donnelly with the twelve dollars random question, what were your thoughts on the shan o'haered Devil's advocate gimmick was reward those old vignettes and realized there was a lot of potential there there was, and I think that's kind of how I would remember it is wasted potential. They could have done a lot more with it than they did. I thought it was interesting, but again he didn't really do anything. It
was just a bunch of vignettes. So I can't really sit here and tell you, oh, it is such a great gimmick, like he never had the chance to really flesh it out. There was definite potential to it, and it just sort of fell to the wayside. Jazz jack Rabbit wanted to see Swerve at Hog, but all the front rows are sold. Woe is me? Not expecting their hack bum commissioner to help? Oh see, you are my only hope. Well, you keep talking like that, the commissioner
is not going to let you in the front door. Yeah, front row is gone. I actually have that check to see where a second and third row are. We have, however, added stage seeding. We had stage seating at our show back in August for the first time, and a by popular demand, stage seating is back. Trying to get as many people in as we can for the next Hog show on December first, we got swerve coming into wrestle Speedball, Mike Bailey, don't be a fun show, Christopher
Smith. Adam Cole has a deeper history with Roddy and Tavin than he does with MJF, and Cole has teased turning on MJF. Also, Bucks should be healed. I agree, I agree, ABK with the four hundred eleven dollars super check. Fuck Yeah, ABK, you're the man. Just imagine the devil mask wrestler is CM Punk, and Punk says to MJF. The greatest thing the Devil ever did was make you people believe he did news the usual suspects a great movie. Well, I'll tell you, Daddy Ugarte,
we've had vlad Vladimir has been to House of Glory before. He was at our Terminal five show last August Blad. Blad is always invited to our show. Anytime Blad wants to take in a House of Glory show, we would love to have. But ABK, I'm gonna I'm gonna say that if you are expecting Hunk to be the devil, you are likely to be very disciplined. But it would certainly get people talking, not necessarily in the best way, but It would certainly get people talking. Thank you, brother for the
huge support. Much appreciated Sonic you what are your thoughts on Nirvana? I like Nirvana. I was a fan of their music. I don't know what else to say. Fortunately they didn't go longer than they did for obvious reasons. We have got Arabian Night two thousand. What if Devil Mask group are Coal, O'Reilly and fish, I don't see it. I mean, they would have to be pulling the wool over everyone's eyes on this Adam Cole stuff. It would be quite the swerve if they pulled that off. I just
I don't think so. Rumpel Maine another day, another Tyler water challenge request. You can keep requesting at all you want. The answer is no, brother, The answer is no because nobody wants to see that. I don't care how hard you try. I finally watched the video to see what it was. It ain't happening, Warhawk Rambo with the five bucks. What's more boring watching Roman wrestle or sitting on a hold on the phone. His booking
is so repetitive. Wwe needs to move the hell of ro Bet. I would be very disappointed if the devil is Jack Bear he is a waste of talent and Tony Wow Wow, and Tony Kahan should focus on actual talent like Ricky Starks and Powerhousehoks. Well, damn, that's pretty much straight to the point right there. From Roo Beart and Omen. We are at three seventy on the like, So I don't know, it looks like no be the
booker. Tonight's try again on Friday. Marcus Robinson Johnson going to my first New Japan show this Friday, and I'm very excited to see Mayu Ewatani, Shingo Takagi and Zach Saber Junior live. Well that sounds like a good time. Enjoy Marcus. Report back and let me know how the show was. Wapatapa ae w the cholo. I don't want to go though, Abusika stuck your luck or go straight for the cash? Thank you, Abusika. Paul Carpenter, I was at that twenty eleven Night of Champions Mark Henry beat Rko
Buffalo, So it was Night of Champions and Chris AXC. What do you see from the SmackDown side at Survivors Series? So can we please get aj back? The A show feels a bit lost without Roman on regularly. What are your thoughts. I wouldn't be surprised if we had aj Styles back on the show this Friday. I think we get him back on TV this week.
And what they should do since apparently the Bloodline is not going to be involved in wargames, they should do Roman and AJT Survivor series with aj wanting revenge for what the Bloodline did to him and putting him out of action. But if Roman is not working Survivor series, then that makes it kind of different. But as far as SmackDown goes, I said, you know, we're gonna get raw wargames and the SmackDown women are gonna get the other wargames.
They're gonna get the women's war games now and we'll end up with damage Control. Kyrie will probably be in there with them. On the other side, we'll have Charlotte, maybe Shatzi Bianca. Oscar Falls will be interesting. There's been talking about Oscar linking up with EO and Kyrie Juice Georgio with Before ninety nine, the backstage footage was very reminiscent of Summer slam O two. The backstage footage of what specifically which backstage footage. You're referring to, uh
wapatapa. Why does Seamus's racist rant never get condemned? No idea what you're talking about? We have got love, Lie says. I saw someone say that wwe will have Roman beat Bruno by using his defenses as the new Undertaker streak. You see this happening. I hope it will. No, I don't know who. I don't know who said that, But you're listening to the wrong people. I don't know who this someone is. You should not be listening to whoever that someone is. That does not happen, albe,
That's exactly what's gonna happen. If they do. Roman and Aj' don't expect an outcome any different than every other Roman Reigns match. With the interference and the bullshit. That doesn't mean that he still should not be defending that title against AJ at Survivor Series. That should be the match. They could always do it at the Royal Rumble, but he should be on that Survivor Series. Ship Jazz says, If mean Gene is number one, who is number
two? Is it Mooney? Is it Renee? So you're talking specifically backstage interviewers, then does that I mean Meme Gene would occasionally do commentary as well, and even ringing out. I mean he did it all. He did ring announcing, he did commentary, he did interviewing backstage. Meme Gene is absolutely number one. I don't know that I have a solid number two. It's kind of like Meme Gene and then there's everybody else. You know,
Renee is very good at her job. Think about Renee though, especially lately in AW I don't know, there's just she's not allowed. I shouldn't say not aloud. It feels like we're not getting to see her personality as much shining through the way it did in WWE. Now it's just like they go back to her in the back and it's like I'm here with my guests and it's just there's nothing, you know. And I'm not saying that it should always be about her. Her job is, you know, the focus should
be on the talent. I get that. I don't think we're really getting Renee, you know, her personality shining through in these segments the way that we used to do. But Renee is is very good. She's very good at what she does. I don't really have a number two behind Meme Gene. For me, it's Gene, and then there's everybody else who's kind of fighting for number two. I enjoyed Sean Mooney. I enjoyed Todd pettent Gil. I thought Pet and Gil did a very good job. Some people were
annoyed by him, but I like Todd. I like those Slammy intros he did in ninety six and ninety seven. Slammy Song Renee is very good. And yeah, beyond that, I don't really know. Sonny says, I have a pretty solid number two. Well, then you shouldn't be sitting here. You should go take care of that. It's not good to hold it in the Juliet says sag After and studios have a deal strike over, which is I mentioned that right at the beginning of the stream. So I beat
you at the punch, But that is very good news. Indeed, the strike is over, I guess as of right now it is officially midnight on the dot, so I believe, as of this very moment, the strike is over. And Juice Georgio Hunter coming out to check on HBK, MJF parallels I see, and then ultimately it was revealed that it was Triple h who was behind the attack of Shaun Wycke. Yeah, there are some parallels
there, there are, but it would be quite the stretch. I mean, whenever we have seen the Devil just physically, it's pretty obvious it's not MJF. If they slot him in there and it was him all along, I think that would be very lame. That would be very lame. Hofman Entertainment. It's November ninth, happy twenty sixth anniversary too. They fooked him, they foked Brett. Oh, it's the screw Job anniversary. We haven't
heard about that enough. Thank you very much, Oofman. I appreciate and we got one more coming in here from Arabian Night popping up here any moment. Arabian Night says, did you hear reports today about La Knight's attitude? I did not. I will look into that, but I did not hear anything negative about La Night today. So until I see it from a reliable source, I would not put much stock into it, but I will look into it and talk about it on Sunday if there's anything to it. But
no, I have not heard anything about La Night's attitude. Nick Grosso, thank you for that. Four ninety nine, Nick just dropped, did you hear about this beef with Flair and Hayman? Supposedly Flair got upset about Okay, yes I did, so let me let me uh if you didn't hear about this, I mean, it's just so ridiculous. So Rick Flair is very upset with Paul Hayman. Why is Rick Flair upset with Paul Hayman.
He is upset with Paul Hayman because of the comment that Hayman made. And this was like months ago when he was on First Take with stephen A. Smith and I think Steven A mentioned Bobby Heenan, you know, being number one or you're better than Bobby. I forgot exactly what he said. You mentioned Bobby, and Hayman made the comment about, oh, he's dead,
who cares about him? Right? I talked about it at the time, and it was just it was perfect because absolutely something I'm sure Bobby Heenan would have loved and would have done himself, Okay, And it was obviously tongue in cheek. Paul Hayman has nothing but total reverence for Bobby Heenan. He's talked about Bobby before. He considers Bobby to be the best manager of all
time. I don't know how it came up in this interview that Flair did, if he brought it up or if he was asked about it, but he talked about it as if you know, I don't like that, that's offensive and both. Yeah, all of a sudden, he's all super sensitive now, is Rick Flair? Right? He got up on the Kill Tony podcast. I'm not gonna sit here and tolerate saying negative things about people like he hasn't said negative things about every fucking person under the sun. So that's
what bothered. He's got heat with Hayman because he thinks Hayman disrespected Bobby Heenan as if that's the last person that Paul Hayman would disrespect. I guess you might say that Rick Flair is a mark. Rick Flair is a Mark Hey. Shockmaster is now banned from Collision Love Li said some Rando on X,
but wwe always has me about the La Night stuff. You don't, don't that's your first mistake believing Rando's on X. Shock Master with the seven Bucks, I pop in on a Friday for the SmackDown post show, but I will be going to see aw with my buddy from high school on Friday, so I will probably be very drunk by then. Well that's a good excuse. Yeah, Rampage is live on Friday, a rare live episode of Rampage, So they may go from two hundred and ninety eight thousand that they did
last week. Maybe they'll have four hundred this week. Maybe probably not though, right and Nick Grosso, Oh, I already got to nick. Mark Flair says slap. Yeah, mister Dynamite, I said, see, I'm punk is still banning people from Collision. It was a provision in his contract that he is still allowed to ban people from the show even though he technically does not work for the company anymore. So you gotta be careful, all
right. Well, it looked like we were going to fall short, but the likes have hit four oh four, and so therefore you guys have pulled it out of your rear. Ends here at the last minute. The buzzer beater, unlike the Knicks in pretty much every single game. So let's be the booker, ladies and gentlemen, it is now time to be the booker. It is time to be the booker. You guys wanted it, ask
and you shall receive. It's how things work around here. I always give the people what they want, unless it's the Hilow Water Challenge and you're on your own. Be the booker begins, Oh my god, The Tribal chief says, pick a damn stipulation. Oh my god, Roman Reigns has spoken. Would you look at that? The Tribal chief says, we have to pick a stipulation. Well, there it is. We'll pick the step and then we'll make the match. That's how it works. What stipulation will we
land on? Though? That is the question. It will be a TLC match. All right, here we go. Let's see what this is gonna be. This next match is going to be a tables, ladders and shares match, as per the Tribal Chief, and it will be Chad Gable. There, Hea is your future Intercontinental champion. You never know what you're gonna get here and be the booker. A tech nationian just gifted a membership to Sonnyman. Welcome, Welcome, thank you TECHNATIONI Chad Gable in a TLC match
against Menoru Suzuki. Oh tell me you don't want to see that match? Tell me you would not want to see that fucking match. You're a liar if you say no, I don't care. I'd pay to see that match. Chad Gable and Minora Suzuki tables, ladders and shares. Oh my, oh my, there's one I bet you weren't expecting. All right, over to the ladies. You know, I should probably add Should I add Mariah May? What do you think? Should we add Mariah May to the list?
Going forward? We begin with Alisha Fox. Well, all right, let's see Alicia Fox go'na be taking on Oh boy, I'm not even gonna say it. I'm not even going to say it. Alicia Fox against Tessa Blanche. Tessa, don't say it. Don't say it, Tessa, don't do it. Whatever you do, don't do it. Let's move on here where she gets us in trouble. All right, that was a close one. Never know what's gonna come out of her mouth? All right, tag team be the booker. We have the Kings of the Black Throne, Malachod
Black and Brody King. That's a great team. Who will they be matched up with? Kings of the Black Throne against men on a mill? Come on, after I just put those two overs a great team. You give us Mow and Mabel. You give us Mow and Mabel. There's no saving that, no saving that. I'm sorry, man. We got the first one. At least we have our TLC match. Everything else, though, is a complete failed one for three. Oh boy, well what look? You know? It would be the booker that happens sometimes, you know,
Hey, jazz Jack Rabbit. I was at Survivor Series ninety seven with my brother. He was a Brett Hart fan and I HBK. It was his birthday and it was the most confusing ending to a pay per view ever. Happy birthday to my brother. Well, you happen to be in attendance for one of the most famous, well probably the most infamous wrestling match of all time. You were a part of history that night, so you should be grateful that you were at that show. I hope you still have your ticket
stuff. You know, back then they had actual ticket stubs. Now you just scan things with your fucking phone where you print out the confirmation from the ticketmaster website. It's on a piece of paper. See I'm old school. I like the actual physical ticket stubs. I still have all my ticket stuff for every wrestling event. I've ever attended, every WWE show, every WrestleMania,
the aw shows, all the Ring of Honor shows. Remember those of you who used to go to the Ring of Honor shows in Manhattan at the Manhattan Center. It would be different color each time. It could be red, yellow, green. I have all of them. I have the ticket stubs from some of the earliest WWF house shows that I went to in the early nineties. It's history. Juice Georgio Solo. Have you checked out six feet Under with I have not? I have not, Jano Compo. Happy
twenty ninth birthday to my brother. All right, good times Friday night. Friday Night, we have SmackDown. It is the first SmackDown coming out of Crown Jewels. So we will find out what the Survivor series Wargames landscape looks like from the SmackDown side. But again, my guess is the SmackDown ladies are going to get the other Wargames match. So we'll find out and I'll be here to go over the whole thing with you guys. That'll be on
Friday night. That's the next time I am live, and of course on Sunday for episode eight thirty four, I've done so many of these fucking things. I don't even know what number I'm up to. I think it's episode eight thirty four, eight hundred and thirty four that's coming up on Sunday, and again, I would be very surprised if we do not see the return of AJ Styles on Friday. You heard it here first. Until then, be well, stay safe. Thank you guys for all the love and all
the support tonight. It means a lot. I'd very much appreciate it. Watch for the tits
