Dr. Lydia McGrew received her PhD in English from Vanderbilt University. She has published extensively in analytic philosophy, specializing in probability theory and epistemology. She also focuses on the application of formal epistemology to topics in the philosophy of religion. With Timothy McGrew, she co-wrote the article on the resurrection of Jesus for the Blackwell Companion to Natural Theology, and she wrote the article on historical inquiry for the Routledge Companion to Theism.  

In this interview Lydia shares research from her newest book, The Mirror or the Mask: Liberating the Gospels from Literary Devices. Lydia makes the case for New Testament accuracy and reliability. She also addresses several of the alleged contradictions within the Gospel accounts.
