Episode description

Dunn Street founder Stephen Donnelly is joined by Associate Professor in Communications and Media at La Trobe University - Dr Andrea Carson to reflect on the recent federal election campaign.

Andrea brings her excellent insights on the federal campaign from an academic perspective. She compares the two party's campaign narratives, the winners and losers in the digital campaign wars, and the role of journalists covering modern election campaigns. She also touches on the recent AFP raids on the ABC and a News journalist and the implications it has on the free press.
