Welcome to sdh's coverage of everything going on in MLS Next Pro. It is a very busy time for everything in MLS next Pro. We'll get you through the last seven days to get you ready for the next seven days in MLS Next Pro. So before we get to the action this week, we'll get to the action from last week. So start you off with what happened in
the midweek. On Wednesday, the twenty eighth, NYCFC two five two winners over OCB Carolina core A ten man Atlanta United four to one at Truest Point, Austin FC two one winners over the Loons Loons two. Then Friday, LAFC two beat Tacoma Defiance or lost a Tacoma Defiance at Titan Stadium at cal State Fullerton two to one, so
Tacoma the two to one winner there. Saturday three matches Loons two round Monarchs tied it to Loons won it in PK's four to three New England one to one winners over Chicago or one to one winners over Chicago by beating them in PK's four two at Jilllette And then Sporting Kansas City two beat white Caps to four nil that's one guard. That's a big loss for white Caps. We'll get into the standings in just a bit. Sunday, September first, Crown Legacy shuts out Messy and Friends two
four nil. Big win for Crown Legacy over Inner Miami two Portland Timbers in the Town. The Town wins at two to one. Columbus beats ny CFC two in penalties four to two after tying it too crazy match, which gets us to our first highlights of the week and at the activity in the un US in the MLS.
Next Pro at Landy United two Chattanooga FC. Trust me, there's a lot of highlights and it's worth it here from our activity in the SDH network, flag goes up as Chattanooga won the ball back and played it long. Rami was unable to get back on side in time. Ten goals this season for Medio Rami here he got some experience playing in Croatia originally from France. Okello big switch for Atlanta picks out eight in Tortois on the run.

Across to Carlton, go go goo Allan Carlton for Atlanta United two and Atlanta on the Road takes the one nill lead. After the Chattanoogats turnover, CFC trying to play out of the back, Javier Armas stayed focus stepped into the passing lane won it back for Atlanta, and he
didn't go for the shot inside the eighteen. He squared it across to the left and Alan Carlton with the inside of his right foot found the back of the net and Atlanta United too on the road in the thirteenth minute leads one nill, so Robby Armis off the interception finds Alan Carlton off to his left. Alan Carlton puts it in the back of the net. His started the season and that made it one nill for Atlanta
United two. Another turnover in the fourteenth minute almost created another opportunity for Atlanta United too, involving Rodrigo Ner who was inside the eighteen, But the defense was there for Chattanooga FC to squash that particular attempt to try and make it too nil. Then it would be a couple of yellow cards in the twenty third and twenty fourth minute. It would be the start of a lot of yellow
cards on the night, no real surprise. It would end up with a quack with a yellow on Alan Carlton, who was who drew the yellow card from quaking the twenty third. Then Caden Moore draws a yellow card in the twenty fourth and that would be one yellow card apiece, evening things up. In the twenty seventh, Chattanooga FC would do so off of deflection. All three goals in the match for Chattanooga FC, by the way, coming off of deflections. At some point in the process off of a deflection.
It would be Garvagnan his third of the season, making it one to one. In the twenty seventh. Noble Acello would end up with a yellow card with a challenge on Alex McGrath in the thirtieth. Then Felipe Sarsar would get a yellow in the thirty third to once again even things up. Callum Watson would end up with one in the fortieth minute as Wamri would go down in
the eighteen no call. Then you'd have a bit of a coming together with it Lanty Unity two players and Chattanooga FC players, and it would end up with three yellows in the first forty five minutes for Chattanooga FC and two for Atlanta United two. At forty five twenty, it would be CFC getting the lead off of a deflection from Alan Carlton great to Wamriy his eleventh of the season, and that would get us to halftime at two to one for Chattanooga FC. Then let's get to
the second half. Highlights a couple of goals on the board for Atlanty United two and it would start early on in the second half with a moment inside the eighteen, Atlanta trailing two one. Gayshardo heads it into the middle. Okello knocks it down for Armis. Armis driving forward, Armis riding off in arm tackle from McGrath out wide to the right to Fermino. Nick Fermino's cross deflected by McGrath out for a penalty.

It comes off the arm of penalty Atlanta United too. Straight away in the second half, McGrath blocked the cross from Fermino. It looked like the arm was extended. We're a little screened from how far the arm was out. Chattanooga players running over to yell at the ar A referee William Hale is trying to get everyone to walk away. McGrath continued the yelling, still yelling now the goalkeepers, Antoine also yelling at the ar. Players still yelling at the ar.
Cards are gonna have to get shown here in a second, but it's gonna be a penalty for Atlanta United too.

Penalty Atlanta yellow card shown now, and I think it was Urrami who got it. Yes, penalty, and Javier Armis will step up to take it. Prepoalito was given the yellow card, not Urami, So it's Prepollita who goes into the book. Two of Chattanooga's three center backs on yellows, Atlanta substituted one on a yellow, Caden Moore. So Javier Armis will step up to the spot. It's been walking around in a circle with the ball in his hands,
managing the icing attempt here from Chattanooga. Sean Antoine going back and forth across on the goal line, slapping the crossbar. Armis about five steps behind the ball, Hobby a couple steps to the left. Arm Us goal goal, goal, Atlanta United two level again, two to two in the forty eighth minute. Then Hobby Armis from twenty three, trying to give it Landy United to the lead. Jean Antoine would
get to save there. Then Gajarda would hit the crossbar back to back corners and it would end up being a Gajardo kind of having it dribble across the crossbar from the far side to the neer. Then a save on Ronald Hernandez. Wamri would get a goal on the board in the sixty third off of a deflection. Wamre, Watson, Wamri and Gray would combine, initially Gray with the deflection, Wamri with the goal to make it three to two, his twelfth of the season, and that would be where
we are after sixty three minutes. Wamriy would end up getting a yellow cart a minute later. Then it would be chances for at Landy Unity two. Nick Fermena would go wide to the far post with twenty three minutes to go. Tamimi for a Neary would be a substitution in the sixty eighth minute, keeping an eye on that
one that would come up big later. Alan Carlton would be fouled with twenty to go, no second yellow for Sarsar there, Hobby Armis would send the free kick, though over the bar, would end up with an attendance of thirty five to fifty four. At Landy Unity two would have two corners back to back. Nobel Akello would have a header over the bar as at Land United two would try and chase after an equalizer. Ronald Hernandez with a cross would another corner for a Landy United two.
But then in the eighty seventh Ashton Gordon and Allen Carlton come up big Atlanta setting up shop. Here can they make something of it? Carlton slips a pass through to Gordon Gordon with the left foot.

Then it would be once again Ashton Gordon having the ball all over the crossbar, then Ronald Hernandez would end up the third shot in that sequence, going high north of ninety minutes. Nick Fermino once again would go and create a save opportunity for Jean and Twine. Gray would get a yellow
card in the ninety third. Then you'd have the coming together that created all kinds of chaos that would eventually work things out to eleven B nine for Atlanta Unity two and wasting no time off of eleven b nine. Here's how the match ended. With the scoreboard told you there'd be fireworks. We've got that. Now we're into the ninety ninth minute, and I don't know how long we're playing. It's three three, not ready to go just yet, making sure that everything is squared away.
Now we are ready to roll, maybe two minutes. I don't know. Armis is gonna carry it forward. Chattanooga holding on for dear life. With nine.

at thirty three points in twenty four matches. Atlanta United two goes to NYCFC two twenty nine points twenty three matches. If they close the door on this match that they have in hand with five matches to go, they would be four points out of a playoff spot. Toronto FC two at twenty eight points twenty two matches played, they have some work to do. Huntsville City Football Club twenty
three points twenty three matches. New England eliminated with nineteen points, twenty three matches played a record of four fifteen four and three. Western Conference North Texas is in at forty eight points. Saint Louis City SC two has forty six, Ventura County has forty to come a defiance at thirty nine, has one more win than LAFC two. Twelfth is Reil Monarch's twenty three matches played five to go, they've got twenty six points, and Rapids two are at twenty three points twenty three matches Loons to twenty one points twenty three matches. So that's where we are as everyone is chasing the playoffs in MLS next pro getting
ready for all the other news of the week. Once again, you have playoff clinching scenarios that we have to look at. Here for the Eastern Conference FC Cincinnati two if they win and Chattanooga FC fewer points Orlando City B there's math. Basically Cincinnati wins, they get a little bit of help they should be in. Hunt City is eliminated if Huntsville City only has fewer points or a shootout win in the combination of activity with Chattanooga FC and Chicago Fire two.
Western Conference Minnesota United FC two eliminated with a loss, and then if it's not a straight up loss, then you've got math involved. In another couple of scenarios there, Rapids two eliminated. Basically if they lose and a couple of other things happen, then the Rapids would be eliminated from postseason play as well. So everybody keeping an eye
on all of those. The monthly awards for August involving Pro Team of the Month Carolina Corps for catching Fire understandably so next Pro Player of the Month for Kundo Cannete, part of Carolina Corp's rush up the standings in the Eastern Conference. Also on the board the next Pro Coach of the Month, Roy Lassiter, Carolina Corps. No real surprise considering what's been going on and the Pro Goalkeeper of
the Month. It's a tie Stops from Crew two and Alex Sutton from Corps, so it's shared with those two with their activity up the Eastern Conference, trying to solidify places and climb into the climb into the standing. So that's the monthly awards for August. Match week twenty five honors for MLS Next Pro it is a Pro Team
of the Week Carolina Corps. No real surprise. Once again with everything that they've accomplished recently, they should be Facundo Cannete Pro Player Match of the Week for match week twenty five. Once again with everything that they've had to go through. Pro Rising Star of Match Week twenty five William McKay Rail Monarchs. The eighteen year old keeper had one of the top performances eleven saves in the win
against Loon's two. So Rising Star of the Match week William McKay from Rail Monarchs and that lined you up with everything out of match week twenty five. MLS Next Pro Goal of Match Week twenty five goes to Diego Ebarka from Los ver Dos and the power rankings for match week twenty five we'll get into that.
