Development Matters- Why does global mental health deserve more attention?

A quarter of the world’s population will be affected by a mental disorder at some point in their lives (WHO), and in low and middle income countries up to 85% of people with severe mental disorders receive no treatment. This episode discusses global mental health with Dr Daniela Fuhr (Assistant Professor in in Mental Health Systems at the Centre for Global Mental Health at LSHTM) and Dr Erminia Colucci (Senior Lecturer at Middlesex University Department of Psychology).
