Welcome to Season 4! Gratitude is often thought of an ‘OG happiness tool’ by therapists, researchers, coaches and mentors, and pretty much anyone else who wants to help you with feeling better about life. Why? Because practicing gratitude works at improving our well being.
Despite all the research and books written about the power of gratitude, there’s a lived experience about practicing gratitude that I often don’t see talked about. The truth is that for many people (including myself), practicing gratitude hasn’t always brought on a happier feeling about life. We might go through the steps of gratitude, but not really get there in feeling. If this is your experience, then I know you’ll love this episode.
