1 - The Mothman of Point Pleasant

On December 15,1967 at approximately 5 p.m., the U.S. Highway 35 bridge connecting Point Pleasant, West Virginia and Kanauga, Ohio suddenly collapsed into the Ohio River. Thirty-one vehicles fell with it, killing 46 people and seriously injuring nine more. Before the collapse, there were many sightings of a large winged humanoid with glowing red eyes in Point Pleasant, West Virginia; leading many to believe that the two incidents might be related. Sightings of this creature, dubbed the “Moth-Man” ceased after the bridge collapsed. So what is the connection between the Mothman and the Silver Bridge?
