We are back for season 2 of Snappin er Around, this time with a new voice as Travis Sweiger joins the pod full time as our third co-host. To kick things off we talk about the RFA's still unsigned and how younger players are demanding more on their second contracts. The draft is over and we break down some of our likes and confusion in terms of selections, before giving our view on the Avs 2023 draft. A quick look at free agency and the trades that have happened around the league so far.
First thank you to everyone for the 500 downloads! We start off with a recap of the Stanley Cup Finals and congratulate the Vegas Golden Knights, and ask what's next for the Florida Panthers. We discuss all the trades and trade rumours that have gone on throughout the league, before giving our Top 5 Mock Draft for the upcoming draft on June 28.

Then move into our Pacific Division preview and how we think the division will play out. The off-season has come to a crawl and news has been scarce, but we still found a way to cover an entire episode. We discuss the World Junior Gold Medal game before talking about the few signings that have happened over the last week and a bit. We finish off with discussion on the news of a World Cup of Hockey in 2024 and what we expect from it.
It's been a "FLAMING" off-season, as Calgary continues their retool with the signing of Nazim Kadri. To make room on the cap, Sean Monahan is dealt to Montreal, and is Lou and the Islanders playing the big picture? We then , discuss the trickle down effect of the Kadri signing and how the Avalanche may plan to fill the hole left at 2C. We finish with some World Junior talk, and give our predictions for who will meet in the Gold Medal game.
Back for episode 5, and we open with a little person life talk before moving into the U18's gold medal win and talking about the WJC team Canada's first pair of games. We talk the Jonathan Huberdeau extension and revisit the trade wth Florida to see if that changes perspective at all. We touch on the Islander rumours before moving on to Vegas and their recent bad news. The episode finished on a somber note as we send our thoughts to Ben Stelter's family and friends.
