EP 57: I Think Knot by Sinclair Kelly

review trashy romance novels we're two licensed therapists and we used to bother our co-workers because we just sit on work links and talk about these books all and then one of them was like that girl just took four dicks this is what you guys are talking about on the worklink and I was like oh God yeah who maybe we should find another Outlet that's a little bit better and we did and alas here we are we did yes so today we are reviewing I think not not is k n o t by Sinclair Kelly this is the

first book that we are reviewing that is like an Omega verse B and I have some omega verse questions cuz I'm not really I don't know a lot about the Omega verse I have some Anatomy questions we're going to get to at some point I've read some omega verse like I've read a few yeah but I still don't know that I have the answers but we'll explore together I'm just going to tell you now I don't think you have the answers and that's not anything about you as a person I think I just realized

my questions are are very specific um but you do have answers to a lot of other questions I do yeah I have a lot of useless stuff up here that makes me fun at parties and good at trivia and that's about it yeah I think um my co-workers have started to realize I the only trivia that I know far too much of is just like movies pop like actors I am unfortunately that person that you'll like I was watching a movie with my husband that came on I was like oh that dude

played a rapist on season 3 of Veronica Mars I do the same thing and Vance was like and I'm sure that's what he loves to be known for he hasn't grown at all in his career he's in a new movie no he's still forever going to be that guy this show that dropped 20 years ago oh my God has it really been 20 years close too wasn't it like oh oh four yeah probably probably okay but Veronica Mars is not in the Omega verse I do have a lot of strong opinions about Veronica Mars as well I know you do

yeah not in a bad way but I know you do it's true yeah listen I'm just a fan of the franchise which I appreciate yeah yeah we all need people to back us and rep us so this is a Veronica Mars piece of trivia that is useless and I doubt anyone would ever ask because I don't remember which season it was I don't remember at all but I do remember that on one season of America's Next Top Model they had of the prize Naima thank you yes I knew it was Naima but I didn't

know which season where the prize was to be a receptionist and have one line on there were two that one wasn't Naima that one was a front desk girl Naima played the school teacher in the bus crap so who was the it doesn't matter it I don't remember her name I do there were two prizes that's right there were two there were two prizes back in the Heyday of America's Next Top Model okay true story this was back um like I was in Middle School High School Wednesday night youth

group sort of energy and this was also back before on demand TV you had to DVR something if you were not going to be there to watch it and DVR was still probably fairly new and everybody had it EXA yeah so my sister and I start passing notes to each other during the lesson at youth grouping like did you set the DVR for America's Next Stop model she's like no did you set it and I was like I don't know if I did and we like both look at each other and without we just like went

one two three like showed our fingers got up ran out of the youth group and drove home to make sure it was set to record and I would like to formally apologize to Dave who was speaking that night cuz it had nothing to do with you bless Dave but honestly I respect that energy so much America TCH stop model really felt that important like did it did yeah which is also wild to look back at the things that they would do to alter their appearances oh I know I saw a tweet the

other day that said um if you were a pre-teen teen watching America's Next Top Model you may be entitled to Financial compens ation didn't they put a gap in a girl's teeth once they might have I know there was one that had a gap that they refused to fix like she asked them to and they said no um maybe that's what I'm thinking there were a few girls that like they shaved their heads and they didn't want that and stuff like that it's icky and there was like no consent it

was literally it was like if you do not agree to this you clearly don't want to be a model you can't be in the industry if you don't let us shave your head and bleach it and then after once they would they' be like do you see how much more Fierce you look and I'm like I don't Fierce is not the word I would use but it's just me no and my sister who's a hair stylist tried to convince me to like go pixie for a very very long time and then I realized I think the problem

is I don't wear a lot of makeup I don't wear a lot of jewelry I don't do a lot of things to like J yeah t and I was like I I really don't think this is going to land how you think it's going to land because I'm the one who's going to have to like suddenly start wearing a full face of makeup every day and I don't want you to shave my head or give me a like that tight of a pixie enough that I'm willing to start wearing more makeup every day unless you're also going to teach me how to wear more

makeup because I'm not I know not skilled enough I know what what I know I understand my own scope and with that the Omega verse is is a VIN diagram I would say of scope like there's a little bit in there there's a little bit overlap between my knowledge and the Omega verse but it is not a circle not a [Music] circle sorry I'm just saying yeah I okay okay we can get yourself together Chelsea you're good so prologue we're starting two years ago we meet Bexley she is

the Vexy Bexley beex b e x l e y I don't know if that's better or worse carry on Bexley I feel like it's better Vexy Vexy or Bexley beex is a better nickname than Vex I think so well I'm not going to get stuck on it no vex feels like you're getting a far more Sinister character yes that's true Beckle feels like you're getting like a little more innocence with it yeah like fun quirky just and I really like Bexley okay um there are like some moments that like she annoys me as happen in most

books but like thoroughly I enjoyed her but we start two years ago and um Bexley is sitting with her best friend ardan ardan um was mated had a pack um with three alphas and had a son they had taken their son to the movies to have to give her a little mommy day and died in a car accident oh no yes and Bexley watching ardan go through the pain of losing her mates of losing her like just really reinforced like she's like I don't care that I'm an Omega MH I don't

want to be claimed this ain't it's not really worth the pain that I'm seeing can happen with with it um and so that's where 2 years ago we start so as this book starts um we have Bexley and ardan obviously and they have really taken the the pain and Trauma that ardan was going through and we're trying to give her an outlet so they started what it it's it's on pack chat which is essentially Tik Tok or Instagram they're posting reals they're po like is what they're doing um

and so she is an Omega influencer now and her Channel's called like the omega's guide and so it's very uh Forward Thinking in the Omega community and is very like you don't have to give into your designation like you can you can live whatever life you want and just kind of giving people that freedom and they have become very very popular they have like 20 million viewers wow subscribers however people who follow them um but whenever Bexley is posting a video and posting new

content within 30 minutes it's getting dueted by this pack uh and their name is Ryden Alpha and they're these guys and she's like they're just these like [ __ ] like country good old boys that are just like trolling all of her content but their whole thing is they're like we want to Omega like what's so great about like being inde like look at all you could have if you decide to like give into your Des is kind of their like energy yeah yeah um and so that pack as

you've probably guessed is where we're we're going to be ending up and so in the videos um you have crew axon Axton is actually a beta okay but he's mated to Shaw who's an alpha okay okay so the I'm I'm sorry the alphas crew Shaw Hawk okay and then axon is the beta who is with sha got it okay yes um and they've all like been together for years and years and years so they've been searching for their Omega that's going to like complete their pack for a long time yes they very much want that that

missing piece um there is we'll we'll meet a character in a little bit that was a female that had previously been engaging with their pack and all that good stuff so we're g to switch to axton's perspective we're gon to switch perspectives a lot throughout sometimes it matters sometimes it really [ __ ] doesn't if I'm being honest I like it when it switches a lot though because I feel like it keeps it fresh like I just finished a book where it was just her point of view it was um signs of

cupidity oh yeah oh yeah um and I really enjoyed the story but it was all her point of view and it got stale towards the end well and so I didn't go right into the next one I'm sure I'll pick the series back up but it's funny that you say that cuz I was just reading a Megan Quinn book and got super annoyed because like the first chapter it starts it has the female leads name every chapter is the main character there is one chapter no that is the other love interest I was

like why are you putting her name at the start of like we get it it it's m like I understand like you made me think it was not going to be this and so I keep like and I know that there are some books where you might have several chapters before you switch points of view right so I think that's what I was anticipating and I'm like well I'm [ __ ] 30 chapters deep and we're still on home girl why did we even bother putting her name at the start of each chapter that would irritate me a lot

yeah just to have the one chapter for the other for the dude I'll even like skip ahead sometime so I can see like when the next perspective change comes and I well I really appreciate when I'm on my Kindle and they have it linked to chapter so be like chapter chapter one Bexley chapter 2 axon I'm like yes thank you this helps we are the same I was about to say yep yep probably the fact that we are born a day apart a day apart and in very close geographical proximity as

well it's so [ __ ] wild when I think I'm like what are the chances we've L very parallel lives for only like meeting when we were like 30 yeah we have yeah so wild okay so we're switching to Axton um he is just incessantly watching bexley's videos and they're all like checking just like oh like did she respond but like also like they're they're very intubating her even if she is their enemy right if you will for them it's like a fun flirty thing yeah like they're getting off on it a

little bit I think a little bit like I think like they are frustrated with her at this point and it like has built and grown but I also think they're all into her and they did start their channel to try and find an Omega and try and be like look at all we have to offer um then maybe don't call your channel ride an alpha why why wouldn't you change they they're making their needs known well I'm saying as discussed with our conversation before we started recording with couple to thruple there's a

difference between a casual people who are looking for an actual person to join them versus looking for a good time right and Ry in Alpha to me says good time Bros not like yeah I'll say every single username that they mention in this entire book everyone is witty everyone has like a I'm like kudos to Sinclair Kelly for really having that wit but I'm like let's be real most of the time it's like Chelsea fight 70 3 is the username like they're not all that great they're not

but to their credit they have also built a huge following and a huge audience and this is kind of their livelihood as well and I don't think they have quite as many followers but they're like close behind Bexley in that regard um but also whenever they kind of like post these taunting and baiting responses she has a very large fan base who would like they get some backlash for it right so they're like okay well like maybe like we should like start adjusting and shifting so there is

um a convention coming up it's like pack chat it's like an influencer convention and so oh there's a other person not formally pack axon has a twin brother Camden Camden his designation is not clear it has never fully presented so he's just kind of been living in this like unknown space and so like he's never really joined the pack yeah but like he and Hawk have always like had a flirty thing yeah like everyone can tell that like there's something between them but they've never pursued it or or

anything like that he just kind of lives like on the fringes of the pack but it's still close with him because his twin brother is in there right got it so Camden comes in and he's like hey guys I have an idea since we're doing the keynote at this like influencer convention situation why don't we invite Bexley to to join us and like sign of Goodwill it's also great for Num like lots of positives right like let's see if she she takes the bait and takes the invitation do you have any questions

thus far I feel like I'm just doing all setup so there's like no real questions I'm tracking all the way that's great because sometimes I'm like am I communicating as clearly as I think and right now I did feel like I was communicating clearly you were doing a great job and still are thank you for checking in okay I felt the therapist voice in the other day I was talking to somebody and I heard it and I was like oh I don't like it wait what somebody was I was very

irritated with someone and I slipped into therapist voice because I was trying to be professional and not like take out my earrings about it and I heard it and I was like GH but that was my only like defense against just like full so one of my favorite things about Hannah is when she gets pissed off and just like start sounding off about it and I also want to note when we worked together we worked for a nationwide company like there are like locations in 40 plus States and we would

be assisting people who lived in all of these these states and all of these employees and I just remember being on links with Hannah and she's like Chelsea you want to get in the car and go to Colorado they're going to catch these hands I'm like okay slow your roll we'll probably calm down before we make it to up on the way like we both live in Georgia we got this we're going to Colorado the number of times that Hannah was like they're going to catch these hands I was like okay sit

down as you sit in North Georgia in your husband's boxers in an oversized t-shirt you're like we're really going to we're really intimidating I get spicy sometimes yeah I I got spicy on Thursday at work and I like FaceTime my husband and I was like can I send this email and it's so interesting because my husband goes respectfully Chelsea your email's not that spicy you only think it's spicy because you're a woman if a man in the corporate world were to send that email they would not think twice

about it like you are being direct you are setting a like boundary in clear communication and then I talked to two of my female co-workers and they're like ooh the spice's hat today and I'm like oh is it my bad I get it I literally typed an email that I was like per the CEO's email below because somebody asked a very stupid question and then I like deleted it yes thank you so much for checking it's on the same chain just scroll down but you know what I'm going to call

that growth thank you I've been trying yeah you weren't like I'm going to take my earrings out over this [ __ ] you're just like oh great clarifying question yes that is what we're doing which is even better because my ears aren't even pierced but I say that [ __ ] all the time I never even realized that oh my God you've been saying that for years and you don't have pierced Years anyway okay so we're going to be in this book yeah Forever at the convention we're not quite at the

convention yet but to but to get us to the convention we switch back to Bexley like and ardan's like Do It Go like yeah let's see they're going to bring their two friends who are betas um as backup Jackson and lock um and while Beckley ardan Jackson and lock are not pack they kind of operate as such they are best friends and they don't really have anyone else they are each other's family and Community but they they're like okay well like you could go but like should you like try using a scent

blocker or something and like bexley's like remember the last time I tried to use a scent blocker and I had an allergic reaction like no let's not risk it CU it would look worse if she pulled out because she was sick and then they were like oh she's sick right yeah like just all of those sorts of thoughts and so now but now we're going to switch to uh the username hash one number one Bexley fan is yes so that is the uh point of view we get that's not pack or Bexley it is

her stalker I was going to say sounds like a stalker we love a good stalker book we love a stalker Trope we do we we do when JS Scott does I was about to say if they are the dearest stalker perhaps that's the reason just because we we love JS Scott even while we hate to read it [ __ ] Jan Jan we miss you we love you I'll find one to review of you soon it's been a moment to say yeah we may have to revisit Jan yes um so we switch to the stalker who's like he sees that they've

they've posted a video inviting her to join them and so he's just like refreshing her page every like 2 minutes being like is she is she going is like what's what's the plan is she going to accept their invite um and as soon as he sees that she accepts their request he's like oh okay I'm going to like buy a ticket to go to the convention and uh to save her from them oh yeah sure she needs saving obviously you get it yeah she's really struggling so now we are at the

convention and we're at the Green Green Room her friends are telling her to stay put there like there are so many scents it is very like lots of alphas just like super overwhelming yes um and we also kind of learned like while Bexley is a very successful Channel she stays pretty isolated um and like she even talks to ardan about like her former Heats how like she's just kind of denied them um which isn't great biologically for that doesn't sound healthy and safe yes um

and so I think that's also why they wanted her to stay the room they're like you've denied your last several Heats which like isn't really healthy the smells are going to be even more potent and overwhelming for you and so just stay back here and even like it's either Jackson or lock I don't remember which one but one of them's like oh yeah like one of them like put you might put you into an early heat and she's like shut the [ __ ] up like this is ridiculous right so

there's a knock on the door um and when I opened she's like axen and he's like I'm Camden and she's like oh didn't know that there was a twin here so Camden was is coming with the mic to clip her and get her all set up and as soon as she walks in he's like she's like he smells incredible he has like this like Alpha scent wafting off of him and they just like it's just them in the room at this point and they just like start making out very intense make out session nice

but like Camden's into it but is also like what is happening I've never had a designation before right and it's just a a little confused within that so either one of bexley's friends returns doesn't really matter who let's be honest right right and Cameron's like okay I don't I'm I'm gonna leave now anyway you're miked up congratulations bye just just put it on your shirt here's the Mike you can do this right um and then one of them also comes in with a giant bouquet of pink roses

which are bexley's favorite with a note that says I'm here for you love your number one Bexley fan yikes yeah not ideal we are now going to switch back to Camden Camden walks into the dude's green room and all the guys are like where have you been for a minute but then all of them suddenly smell her apparently she smells like sugar cookies all veryy into the cookie smell at one point they're like smells like [ __ ] snicker doodles like yeah she has a strong sugar cookie odor about her that

is her sent as an Omega okay in one of the motorcycle romances I read recently there was a strip club called cookies and one of the girls just continuously referred to her lady bits as cookie and so now it tracks I mean it's very I thought of that yeah the entire time that they were like her sugar cookie I'm like oh heo not her scent yeah I felt the same H strip clubs I just love the names of random ones it's always fascinating in the same book there was another strip

club called The Glass Slipper that was oh less classy apparently there's no telling the glass slipper was less classy than cookie than cookie yeah if I'm remembering right probably both still classier than the one we've talked about by my parents house before called the fuzzy hole heyo shout out I would probably rather go to a place called The Glass Slipper than the fuzzy hole if I'm going on name alone right so all of the dudes like get a whiff of Camden and are like oh my God

like this this is a great smell that is on you and then he Al he's also like yeah I kissed her and they're like wait like what the [ __ ] and then like crew is like why did you kiss our number one enemy and Camden just like growls at him and all of them are like this isn't the normal you this is what is this like Alpha so she like woke up his designation basically yes but then Camden internally is like my designation feels fluid like like he can like step into that but is not

necessarily full Alpha interesting okay um because you can also see like Hawk's a little disappointed when he like finds out that like he's like oh well he's an alpha and I'm an alpha so that like that'll never work yeah um what else happens there oh crew just is trying to be like okay everyone don't forget she is off limits like we're here we're like this is a business Arrangement we're trying to make this happen pants on yeah and he's like get everyone's [ __ ] together she is off

limits and the enemy so is he like the deao leader yeah a little bit um but Camden's like they are all idiots they all just like were obsessed with her scent on me he's like I'm pursuing this regardless like let those schols do what they want I'm not in their pack I'm pursuing Bexley so switching to Cruz perspective now they get on stage and he's like still in his head like yeah like this is for business and like got to hold these boundaries and like blah blah blah blah

blah and then as they're walking on on stage Bexley like trips and falls into his arms and it's like instant connection and I think that's the best and worst part about the few Omega verse books I've read is they're just like and I smelled their scent and we've been together ever since it's like immediate install lust everywhere yes yeah like there there's no conversations there's no like getting to know each other they're just they I mean I guess essentially it's like your Bas nature

called to my B nature right right but who you are as a person take it or leave it like right yeah yeah well and so that is something that like as crew is kind of having this monologue um he is thinking back on an ex named Katarina that there had been like a really bad breakup with and like he hasn't really considered potentially bringing anyone in um to their pack since everything kind of went sideways with Katarina right yeah yeah so there's that bexley's now on the stage and the way

it's set up they have like two guys on one side of her two guys on the other she's kind of in the middle and but they did put um axon as the beta next to her to be like cool he will be able yes he's safer he's level like if something goes ay he will be able to make sure she is okay through all of this um but as they are all getting on stage and kind of meeting they are all very much like feeling that Bas nature base Instinct connection you will feeling all that attraction

yes and so we actually switched to Shaw's perspective and um just as she's answering interview questions he's like yeah like maybe she's not really who we thought she was and there's like more to her than we realized and she's like beautiful and funny and engaging and like strong and passionate and just very into everything that they are seeing of her plus her sugar cookie scent doesn't hurt so like before they thought she was like a like an airheaded like I think a little more like

materialistic full of herself yeah um a little more vain um because while she doesn't go into detail she like does kind of give a little bit of like explanation of like watch like some friends go through some incredibly hard things and like this channel gave us a chance to laugh again and like just kind of those sorts of answers um but Shaw can also tell like she she got when she got asked those questions and his immediate like instinct is like go and soothe her and calm her and he's like

she's not my Omega like she does not belong to me I might be like super into her but okay I'm just going to like keep sitting here while we keep this interview going so switched to bexley's perspective as she's sitting there she's realizing their scents are not just overwhelming they did indeed trigger a heat and so she's sitting on Stage B my heat is starting oh my God oh my God oh my God like what the [ __ ] like I'm [ __ ] [ __ ] [ __ ] [ __ ] [ __ ] [ __ ] I'm sitting on

a stage in front of hundreds of people next to these many of whom are likely Alphas this is not like surrounded by yeah like all of this is a bad situation and axon like oh she's like I'm perfuming everywhere she's like these dudes must be overwhelmed she's like the fact that all of these dudes are sitting on the stage and calmly answering these questions when I know I am like flooding this St fre soaking in it yes and she's like I'm so I'm I don't know what to do like my bad but Axton

sees like the stress and pressure and he's like we're going to we're going to get you off this stage yeah bless it and so she he takes her right off and then her friends are like okay we're going to take you to the bathroom so you can like have a little breather Camden tries to come check on her and like they're like you have Alpha fairmon coming off of you you cannot get next to her man this whole book is so old factory like yeah just scent I've read Omega verse ones where they had like a

scent catalog where the Omega would go and sniff like pieces of fabric or something this is how you you'll you'll know like the your pack which and but I think that's one of those things that like I mean kind of like wolf shifters right like each author their paranormal shifter universe is a little different than someone else cuz I feel like there are some omegaverse books where they're like oh this is your like forever partner then they have other omegaverse books where

they're like you just are into the smell yeah like you like their smile they liked yours there's no like this is your person and you only get one for the rest of your life right yeah and this book to me at least fell more in the second camp in territory versus like the go through this book and you'll find the smell that lets you know this person true match yes mhm is your soulmate and you're like oh that is a lot of pressure on my nose I will say I think I've told you

this before when I had covid the first time and I lost my sense of smell for a while for like a couple of months um at one point I was giving my husband a hug and I like burst into tears and he was like baby what is wrong and I was like I can't smell you a he was like okay well maybe just go to sleep maybe we're just going to lay down just go to sleep we're just going to lay down it's going to be fine and I was like okay well I've told you the story before of like I I had a cold but like

didn't have PG and like still went to work and Vance made the super spicy soup and I couldn't I couldn't taste it yeah and he like made me the soup and I just have tears streaming down my face I was like there's no taste just fire it was the weirdest sensation like that had never I also remember one time my sister crying when she had been sick because she was like what would make me feel better a root beer float and then she couldn't taste the root be oh you don't really realize how

important smell is until you don't have it yeah you really don't but also at the same time it is weird to like read a book that's just so it's all smell focused yeah on smell and everyone is like has two things right it's like one's like oh he's he smells like beach sand and leather Pine it's always like leather is always Sandalwood cigar yeah yeah sweet tobacco I'm like okay yes and they're like this one is these two I'm like I cannot be expected to remember six

dudes scent makeups no I'm not [ __ ] them like this is too much well I've even sometimes been like I don't even know what that smell is there was one book that had like Juniper it was all about she smelled like Juniper she smelled like Juniper and I was like isn't that Jin and then I was at the store and I saw this like body wash that had Juniper in it and I smelled it and I was like that is the most medicinal smell on the planet and that book is no longer intriguing to me killed it she smells

like a hospital she smells like gin and disinfectant what the [ __ ] I remember a friend one time I was hanging out with her and her husband and she's like oh my God guys I saw the cutest little gin making kit at TJ Maxx and or like some place like that and but I kind of paused and I was like gin making I'm like so is it just vodka and Juniper like is that yeah cuz you don't need to buy a special kit to make your make your own also you could just buy Jin just buy Jin how bad do you want it

I'm also not a gin person I like Jin yeah I feel like it's a polarizing alcohol it very much is cuz it's got that like florally thing underneath it that some people are into and some people just aren't I think there are certain floral notes that I'm like super into and then there are others that I'm like this is like the shitty of like a cleaner mixed with a perfume yeah well I feel that way about lavender flavored things oh it tastes like so okay wait what did you think of that lavender

lemonade tea oh that was good though because I think it was the lemon it was the lemon I think it was the lemon no actually I do agree cuz I like lavender things but every now and then you get a lavender thing that you're like this isn't the right lavender right yeah this is a little more or like rose sometimes way too much for me yeah I think Rose is one of those that like you don't need a lot to go a very long way yes okay uh Bexley is in the bathroom because she's

realizing her heat is starting and she's trying to get a breather um as she is in the bathroom she looks up in the mirror there is a hooded figure behind her there was an entrance on the other side of the bathroom that her friends did not know was there um it is number one Bexley fan sure sure hooded and being like you're going to go with me e the easy way hard way but I'm like here to save you kind of energy and like pulls out a needle and like starts trying to grab her and

take her out the other entrance and she starts fighting back um the stalker is not much bigger than her okay um and she like rears back and like cracks her head against their nose and is able to like get away but as soon as she like runs out the exit uh like all of the guys the interview has ended they are all offstage so she like crashes into Hawk's arms and just like has a full breakdown yeah yes she just went into heat on stage in front of a bunch of people and

then was nearly kidnapped yeah was like almost abducted yeah it's not a good day no not at all and they're like seeing the bruises start to like form like the dude had like already backhanded her like just one of one of those so we now switch to Hawk's point of view and he's feeling all kinds of protective rightly so the guys all run into the bathroom to check he he's run out the other exit Ard feels horrible she's like I wouldn't have told you to go into the bathroom

like I didn't know that there was another entrance and beex is like no one is blaming you um but they are all now trying to figure out what to do because Bexley is in heat and this conference was like out in like Arizona or like somewhere more out west and she lives in Chicago with her friends the guys happen to live like an hour and a half away from where the convention is happening and they were like okay like well can we take her back to your hotel and they're

like no we checked out this morning because today is actually bexley's birthday and we were going to go to Vegas tonight so like we don't have a room and everything is booked and there's no like heat suits available and so it gets to the point where the guys are like you can come back like we we'll keep you safe you can come to our place it's no problem at all and beex is like are you sure there's also like they talk about having to like register with the I don't know like Omega Institute or

whatever whatever they called in that one but yeah like the the parameters of needing to like make it more official in Camp's like I'll register it's no problem like please come back and so beex is like yep I'm this feels like the most obvious logical solution and they end up taking her back to their place well not yet because she has to like talk to the police and such um as they all go to get in the cars ardan and Jackson and lock all are in their car and beex ends up with with all of these

guys because their sense they are keeping her like I don't think cam will let her off his lap at this point like growling whenever she tries to leave their eyesight sort of energy and so she's like curled up in Camden's lap and finally heading out there but she's also so [ __ ] horny in the seat that she can't see straight and so Camden's like okay like sit on my lap like we'll like register and do everything we need with the Omega convention whatever it is um and she like starts straddling him

and like nuzzling her face against his and like trying to make out with him and he's like I'm really trying to fill out this application I'm really trying to do this form yeah but like to the point that Shaw's like oh also Camden has never been with anyone his designation has never become evident Camden is a virgin oh yes oh so like just wanted that on radar as well because he is stepping into new roles and he's like I went from kind of being like the nerdy behind the scenes guy to like now like

being an alpha and like challenging people to like defend Bexley and just feeling that difference right how did I get here yes and so like he's like two hours ago I walked into hand this girl a mic and here we are and now she is grinding on me yes and so she's like I need need a release like I need something and Camden's sitting there as she stradling and he's like I'm I've never and Shaw's like hey turn her around we we'll make sure we we take the edge off right so she

Beckley and they're all in like a I don't know how many passenger van but they're in like a passenger van what kind of vehicle is this yeah yeah not like a like they say it's like a multi-person passenger van with multiple rows of seats but even at that like I've written in a lot of those you can't I mean I guess in a in like the newer sprinters maybe you can stand but like for the most part there's still not a lot of room yeah clearance are like room for movement and so they're like

okay turn Bexley around put her on her on your lap and spread her so like Shaw goes down on her and he's like Camden play with her boobs and Kim's like okay very into her could do that yeah he's like I understand the assignment so Shaw ends up getting on his knees and he's like but I did appreciate that even within her heat he did get consent oh that is nice right and he's like I want to make sure like you want this and at this point she's like [ __ ] a just take the edge off already man like

I am dying yes she's damn near Delirious at this point and she ends up like falling asleep on cam after she comes and is like very com Ed and very aroused by all of their smells and she like kisses Cam and she's like it's a down payment for later okay she is in her heat Hannah we don't need to be judgmental she's trying her best well that's just a weird thing to say but okay that's fine it didn't feel as weird reading it as how I you just like out on me I'm not going to

Sinclair you don't need to take the heat for that one I apologize Chelsea says I'll own that it was my delivery I'm not doing a great job of retelling no you are it's just that line was like H like it felt sweeter in the moment I got you yeah okay for the record that that's on me um we switched to acent he was enjoying the kiss is what I wrote I don't actually know what that means who is he kissing was he kissing someone was it watching the kiss who can say there's so many bodies to

remember um mhm they realize that they are like they've now arrived at the ranch and Cam's like okay I'm going to go make her a snack so that she has some food and axon can like tell she's overwhelmed um and is like starting to like give her a tour and they're like hey Camden why don't you stay the night with her like just kind of helping give some steps I think also because so like out of it and like cam in like came in with the snack and he's like hey do you want

to eat the snack here in this room that we set up for you or do you want to eat it in the living room and she's like I don't I don't this is too overwhelming yeah and so like asked him be like hey why don't you eat the snack here and then like just kind of trying to help with like those things um but also this whole Drive the whole day Axton and Shaw are now like super reved yeah and so they end up going at it but I also appreciated there was like super sweet

communication where they were talking about like bringing Bexley into their relationship into the pack and like being like hey like you know she's not a replacement for you right like and just like kind of those sweet yeah moments and like conversations which I appreciated mhm which cuz I mean I don't know how much people feel like that insecurity but I think just like having a sharance in weird moments is always nice yeah well I think anytime there's poly situation there has to be that kind

of communication yes like checking in with each other and not making assumptions and all of that so it's nice when a book does that cuz it often does consistently throughout this book which I really appreciate um like really taking into account everyone's individual experiences and where they're at in the moment and just like kind of acknowledging that before they move forward instead of just I mean obviously they jump in there's a lot of [ __ ] right sure sure but at the same time I

think that acknowledgement is really important and there's a lot of books that just kind of like they're like you smell great your ours for life and it's a seamless transition right I'm like did you ask if she wanted it when she wasn't so out of her mind and her heat that she was here for this um so that was my thought at least mhm so switching back to Bexley she's now about to shower and like asks cam to join her um he asked like do you care that I'm a virgin and she's like

really no I don't not at all this is only a barrier for one of us my dude um but also he has a pierced dick because he had read and been doing research on what would be most pleasurable for like an Omega or like a a partner in the future should he ever have that chance so he got his dick pierced that's a bold move I don't know if I know any virgins that have genital piercings no and if you are one listening to this that is not a judgment I just I don't I think people I know are people that are

who have gender piercings are people that you would kind of you'd be like yeah that fits yeah yeah yeah yeah like they feel sexually confident in a way that like they did not mind this sweet nerdy virgin is not the Pierce Dick Energy yeah yes yeah the energies don't match that was my mhm my only that's that's my my biggest issue with his Pier dick is that the energy doesn't matter because when I think Pierce dick I think like a dude covered in tattoos and like badass energy you know yes like

was like what did I I was like what what did I you're like chopping wood I was like yeah he was outside like oh crew's chopping wood cuz when you said crew is outside I was like oh he's like outside the door listening or like he's like no he's outside choing would because he's avoiding the house because of the sounds and the smells and also because he's like she is Delirious in a heat and while yeah I I am super into her I don't want to like just take everything now and like get get caught

up in the Heat of the Moment like he was very much like I want to wait until she is of sound mind and so like I don't think she'll stay like what do we really have to offer and just kind of like right she's super successful in her own right yes she doesn't need us 1,000% like that is where his head is at so as he's out there chopping wood and he's like been doing it for hours I love that you still have the smirk on your face Hawk ends up coming out um and like they're they end up kind of talking

about like wondering if like cam will join the pack now that Bexley is there and kind of like seeing the inevitable writing on the wall um but also Hawk pulls out a letter because number one Bexley fan dropped a letter off at their property uhoh yeah um and I forget what it said but something some vague threat probably yeah but I think less vague threat and more like vague I guess kind of threat but in like the stalkers BR like promise of like don't worry devotion yeah don't

worry I'm watching you like I've got to protect you kind of energy so crew's brother Cohen is a detective and so he's like I'm going to bring Cohen in he's like clearly Bexley needs to stay with us we can like bring some extra people on so all of these dudes they live on this like 5,000 acre ranch that has been passed down from generation to from generation to generation in Cruz family okay um and there are lots of different things set up so like Cruz family has houses on

other parts of the property but there's also like a whole like agriculture theme part like AG retainment theme part kind of thing so I animals whatever they are making their land work for them they have a ranch whatever um and so he's like oh I'll bring in some extra employees that are actually just like plain clothes security and things of that capacity and then also as hawkk and crew are having this convers conversation Jackson and ardan are walking by because they

were going to go to the house to check on Bexley and then ardan ends up like giving them even more contact context past what her own personal trauma was got it so um she ends up telling them that bexley's parents were um a mated Alpha and Omega who were registered as a pack but never grew their pack so it was a twers attack and they had Bexley um her dad passed like died in a tragic accident sort of energy and her mom uh automatically like was unable to care for herself just like the loss of

connection to her Alpha destroyed her and a month later she passed away because she like had not been caring for herself and Bexley ended up in the hospital because Mom like wasn't caring for her kid either so like like Bexley was like malnourished and dehydrated and through went just kind of dou down and solidified that like this is whyley has chosen the life that she's chosen not because like she doesn't think alphas and Omega should mate but just like because of her experiences being like is

it really is it that worth it yeah like lots of trauma in there yeah it's it's kind of more her experience but then ardan's also like telling the guy she's like I wouldn't tell you this if I didn't think that like you were worth hearing that and knowing that um and like is like Bexley is very much worth it and so like whatever your thoughts have been of her like know that she is like legit yeah ardan great wingwoman energy I actually just downloaded I never read it so I read this book a

couple years ago um and then ended up rereading it because I wanted to outline it for the show but I'd never read the second book in the series I think there are three but the second book is about ardan and I think Cohen the detective the detective brother of yeah and then I think one of the betas I'm curious I have no idea haven't read it but there is another one in the series okay yeah and I did enjoy this one enough that I'm like yeah I'll definitely like read more I I think at

the time I was like I don't know enough about the Omega verse I'm going to go to something I'm more comfortable with yeah I do know a little bit better um so we now switched to Hawk who's just like chilling in the house and walks out of the room that they'd like set up for Bexley and it's like is this a [ __ ] initiation and they're like what what do you mean like what's wrong and he's like you left me the Virgin alone with the Omega and heat for 24 hours I'm only one man I'm [ __ ]

dehydrated I do not have enough fluids for this it's kind of like he's like is this an initi why would you guys leave me the Virgin along with her you didn't even bring me any water or a Power Aid or some [ __ ] peanuts come on guys that's hilarious and Hawk's like oh maybe we like misread this situation so Hawk and Shaw go into to check on her and they realized that like they're definitely been a miscommunication they had been wanting to respect her so been like

waiting for her to initiate or ask them to like join and and help take care of her um but then them not ever showing up or checking on her at any point she just like assumed they didn't want to they yeah that they weren't interested and she was like oh like I didn't like want to pressure anyone or like make them feel bad or like that this was like required or anything and yeah like Hawk's like oh we [ __ ] up very badly he's like no no no we really want to be here we are very glad to be

here um and but C is also like thankful for the break at this point uh what happens next Hawkin Shaw Eiffel Tower her yeah and what have you seen the Tik Tok series of the girls who do back and forth um that one person that takes ice breakers too far and they say just the most outlandish [ __ ] to each other the next time it pops up on my for you I'm going to send it to you but there's one where the girl is like so you have to do an Eiffel Tower with Lucifer and the pope who's in the

middle and so that's what I just thought of when you said that who is in the middle Icebreaker should I ask that for next week's work like my like my team meeting every Thursday at work should I ask that my boss would love it who's also probably listening to this episode hey Caitlyn hey Kaitlyn can I ask this as our ice breaker just let me know girl I think my sister actually sent me a couple if I can find them I'll send them to you cuz they're very funny I love a good quirky Icebreaker

just want to read our spreadsheet and move on we just want to get through this [ __ ] and get off this link yes y okay so the Eiffel Tower her she's once again very happy to be nodded at this point she's like given into the Heat and is like you know not denying my heat is really dope for a lot of reasons right switching back to the number one Beckle fan he is nearby as we have obviously already deduced from the fact that he dropped off a [ __ ] letter MH um and

he is very angry to find out that she is now [ __ ] them and he's like what the hell like she is supposed to be with me we are supposed to be together forever is is kind of this energy and I'm very upset we also find out cuz he starts playing them back to check on them I'm not fully sure how but he's managed to get like audio recording of some of the dude's conversations H um because it seems like the stalker is not a strong presence in a room like kind of can like ah yes he's

a blend like he Blends 1,000% yes not like an not like Aon hot alpha stalker yeah um like some of the books that we've read yeah yeah um no very much like the blender who can just like oh like casually do this in the background and no one really noticed is more of it um and so he we know that he has all of these recordings or at least a couple recordings at this point Bexley we now cut back to her she's now SED enough to be sane like yeah like the heat is like to Break

um but it's also funny so she's in the room in the makeshift Nest that they made her they like she's not in the nest that they built for their place right because that would be maybe a step too far yes like they are not mated it is not hers but they like did set up a very lovely room actually I think like crew called his sister who lived on ground who like when they were driving like set it all up very beautifully for her that's very thoughtful but but bexley's

hanging out in the room and it's like Cam and Hawk and Axton and sha crw is the only one who's like not there and so Aon is like oh like I want to I want to try something and then looks at Cam and is like so are you like solely a breast guy because Axton is trying to be the best wingman ever and it's also like Hawk and cam have been in together into each other forever like okay let's try and make this happen but it's like very obvious about it and not not subtle at

all and we love that but like then they all kind of like start like sharing like small secrets and like the confession comes out that like I think a not aent I think Camden is like do you remember when like this happened like when we were like this old and hk's like yeah and ax like I really like thought you were going to kiss me after and he's like wait what I wanted to kiss you after and so like it's funny because they're definitely trying to manipulate the situation to get these results but

it worked in a very endearing way very wholesome like yeah yes um and something about being clumsy makes it more wholesome I agree because there's no finesse it's just a yes well and then there is a group sex scene uh Shaw ends up nodding her this time okay Shaw knots her while axon is in her ass okay and they're like oh Axton is a beta so he doesn't have a not to worry about when it comes to anal right so this is the this is the question I had Hannah MH what does this

mean for cam with his fluid status cuz he's knotted her right so I'm like wait but betas don't have knots so I don't know see and I knew you wouldn't yeah and that's why I was like there's no pressure but it was a legitimate question honestly if other people are more familiar with the Omega verse and can legitimately clarify this for me I was wondering so I was like okay so like how does that work because for as silly as this might sound like I didn't imagine that like your

knot was like the size of your balls but like right it's a substantial size yeah because it's like the whole thing is like the knot ends up inside it expands it locks you like my understanding is that the not inflates so it's like not so betas would like potentially still have knots but it's the but it doesn't inflate so you have to be okay do you see what I'm saying so like it like I I don't think there's always a not just there and you have to deal with it I see

yeah they had on a porn star and they make dirty jokes a lot but it's not like it's just a comedy type podcast where they just laugh together you know well they had on this porn star and the porn star described her one of her signature moves which is the stack which is what you just described without the feet without the feet without the feet it's the stack and I was like that's like her favorite one and I was like fting listening to this on a Thursday morning while I was doing my performance

Improvement spreadsheet so I was like oh my God I know what that's called it's a stack nailed it it's a stack nailed it so proud of myself yeah well cuz here's what I realized if you're on all fours takes the feet out of it but also makes it harder to use your hands exactly cuz I was like you can use your feet but you have to have your hands for support you cannot have a hand on each dick yeah yeah you have to have at least one hand for support if you're going to

standoffish and she's like oh okay well like if this is the situation they are pack I'm not in this like right Pat comes before that I clearly will not be invited to stay long term and is like getting pretty bummed about it and like starts asking she's like why did you let me come here at all like right if you didn't want me here yes yeah yeah and he's like because my my pack is happy and she was like it doesn't matter that your pack is happy because I'm never going to ask them to

choose like you you are their pack so this was super shitty and it was the first like it clicks for crew that he's like oh she actually wouldn't ask me to choose and we we find that that was the ongoing issue with Katarina was that Karina it kind of started as like yeah here for the pack but really just was there for crew only wanted crew and then tried to like gave crew an ultimatum and was like it's me or your pack and crew is like okay so I'm choosing my pack

right um and so him actually hearing her say like oh I wouldn't ask you to choose right I would leave if you didn't want me to be here like I wouldn't ask the rest of your pack to mhm choose either yeah 1,000% also I feel like my mic is dropping does seem that way but it's very secure so I've live okay hopefully I realized I was like starting to slink on the couch trying to fit and I was like I could just raise the mic you could and you did sucessfully this is what freedom feels like look at us

go um but then crew realizing through her saying like it doesn't matter that your pack is happy I would never ask you to choose um realizes that she's legit and then and he's like listen I'm very into you and it's like his starts thawing and he's like the only reason that I was keeping a distance is because I was afraid that like you were going to come out of this heat and be like okay I'm ready to bounce and like you didn't actually want any of us long term and

he's like someone needed to stay sane while you were in your heat and she's like oh okay we've we've cleared the air here they seal it with a kiss they kind of move forward we switched to Camden there's a sweet convo with Hawk where they're like hot he's kind of explaining he's like hey well I'm an alpha with uh Bexley I'm a beta with you a he's a switch yes he's a switch we love that for you um which is apparently not common in this Omega verse I've never heard of

it that I've read but I'm like oh so he's like a verse or a switch that's okay yeah I get it um and so so the hawk like he and Hawk are like very excited to kind of have cleared that and clarified that between them um but then they're also like where's Bexley and like she went downstairs and they're like wasn't wasn't crew downstairs sh yeah they're like oh [ __ ] we got to like go make sure she's fine and when they go downstairs they find like Bexley and crew doing the dishes together just like

laughing hip to hip like washing and drying and just this like kind domestic scene yes this like very sweet moment uh and so they end up deciding they're like all right let's give Bexley like a a full tour of the property because she came in and we essentially gave her a tour of this mattress filled room right that she's live been in for 4 days while we've [ __ ] her non-stop so yeah now she can see the rest of the property now that that's done right so they they give her to her but when they

come back there's a gift box outside uhoh yep address to Bexley and when they open it there's a dead dove in the Box this is important cuz I didn't mention it earlier Dove is the nickname that Camden has chosen for Bexley that he calls her yes so it's a little more pointed so she starts sobbing and is like I need to leave like you guys aren't safe as long as I'm here and the guys are like no you need to stay we'll protect you um crew's brother Cohen shows up and um is talking to all of

them and giving them updates and he mentions like yeah the first note is at the lab and bex's like the what first note uhoh because she she was in here she was in heat and they were just kind of like handling it so as soon as she realizes that though she's like oh you have no real info you have no nothing to go off of I clearly have a stalker people are not safe I need to go back to Chicago and the guys are like absolutely not he is your stalker we are are safe mhm you are not safe do not go

back to Chicago where we cannot protect you right um and she's like you know touche yeah so like she's planning on staying and as crew is walking his brother out um his brother is kind of like have you guys thought about bonding at all because that like not trying to like pressure you or put any like forward momentum on that he's like but like bonding does help because then you can feel them through the link if something did happen or like like from a safety perspective and less

of like you met yesterday you already yeah um and then crw kind of like do you think Katarina could be involved at all because she was always kind of a a shadier person than we realized and so yeah just a lot going on in that regard switch back to Bexley she can't sleep so she leaves the room and it's just like pondering a lot head has a lot going on yeah and uh go to stare out the window and just Ponder her life you know sure but she thinking Deep Thoughts yes all the all of the

deep introspective thoughts middle of the night thoughts and she rested her head against the glass window and I'm like does anyone do that in real life if you do please let me know yeah I'm like I don't want to clean the window literally I don't won't even do it in the car on Long rides because I'm like it's going to be smudgy not with a pillow unless unless there's a pillow I have a hoodie yep yeah no I don't like the face oil on the random things I feel the same way and that really stood out

to me was she's like resting her head on the window she's having this like dramatic thinking her thoughts moment um but she sees a light flicker outside then hears the door and she's like oh my God oh my God it's the stalker it was just crew who couldn't sleep and was smoking a cigar um but when he comes in he's like Bexley are you okay and she's like fully freaking out and she's like I saw someone was outside I heard that I didn't know and he's like oh my God like

my just me yeah my bad um but then he's like all right let's like take care of you and then he's also like we haven't properly corded you and done all of the things the way we should have done them and he ends up drawing her a bath which is very kind they they have what I would call their solidifying [ __ ] in the bath mhm and he asks her to stay and she asked them to be her pack like they have not formally made it but like okay he was kind of the last hurdle before those

things can start happen they're declaring intentions yes um they as a like as a whole pack and Bexley they all kind of like start working on shooting some content together to kind of start Shifting The Narrative of their accounts and like all that kind of stuff and they decide to go into town to get some ice cream and just guessing that's a bad choice why do you think it's a bad bad choice anah seems like there's a stalker nearby well do you think it's because

they're going to run into Katarina who happens to live in town oh oh yeah which and like Bexley comes out with like all of this confidence cuz like Katarina like looks at her and is like oh so like I see you're the Omega they've been shacking up with or like says something like this and Bexley like comes out the G and is like really cuz like I haven't heard one thing about you and like comes out with like all of this bravado but then the first time like like Kine is

like listen I was around for like 10 years and like they'll take what they want and not mate you and like like and then bexley's kind of like wait what like all of her bravado disappears and she's like wait what oh maybe there's like something some some Credence not Credence that's not the word I'm looking for like validity valid yeah I don't know what word I was looking for it was closer to to Credence credibility maybe yeah I think I just combined and but it was still closer Credence I

don't know I don't know why cred I was like what's the yeah not the word I was looking for but still great synonyms that did work for whatever word I can't identif we found it we I mean I know what you mean I didn't no I mean I know it I we found the the message right we found found the message if not the word so now bexley's like very in her head but like everyone else is kind of like starting to like defend her and like lay into Karina a little bit and Bexley realizes like her ice cream is

just like melting everywhere so she goes to like throw it away and this older man is like hey like are you okay like here's a here's a handkerchief and gives it to her and just this like kindly older man and he's like my name's Emory and she's like okay like thanks so much and like then all of the guys are kind of like who's this random old man and he's like she just seemed upset like and just kind of moves on yep your face is is the right face yeah but they also

text Cam and give him an update before they get back to the house that like kind of a heads up hey we ran into Katarina in town oops Yeah not ideal and they're all very nervous that like Bexley is withdrawing Bexley is also like well I I want them to be my pack at this point I want them to make me and claim me and they haven't so like is is there something I'm missing that they are like they're saying that like they don't want to rush it but is there something actually underlying that like

is going to prohibit them from doing this in the future um and so as Camden is like talking with all of the guys before Bexley gets there they're like they're all kind of having that conversation and K's like I want to claim her and crew is like okay so what does that mean for you joining our pack because like that it's all going to kind of have to come into the fold together so Camden ends up joining their pack and he's like I don't even know how to do that and crew's like okay like try and

least threatening this is she was always she always felt safest with you from the beginning 1,000% all of those thoughts and he ends up cuddling her and giving her the wine and like tells her like I I want to claim you I like they they end up have like they end up having their solidifying [ __ ] where he does officially mate her and claim her and uh he puts his claiming mark on her boob because that's his favorite part on her body but I I do find that like I find

that so interesting in like different like paranormal books like how some people like yeah I love that my claiming Mark is on my collar bone for everyone to see and I just find it very interesting where like different authors choose to like do different things yeah well I've read some where like the claiming Mark was like right over the nipple but it was like a reverse herum and so it was like the guy who was maybe a little bit more subtle in the world but was more maybe a little more

aggressive sexually like that's where he put it but then the guy who was like more aggressive out in the world put it like right on her neck you know yes yeah yeah I just always find it very interesting so I'm like huh of do we have options outside of shoulders and boobs right well I read one where it was on her ass and she was really mad about it it was a Rebecca's anetti I think yeah no I know exactly what but but that one was also not like a bite that was

like his hand like a like stamp came out of yeah a brand that came out of his hand like glancing her with fire on yes and she like she they [ __ ] and then she's like I have a burn mark on my ass where you just branded me and yes I remember I was like I'm annoyed for you girl yeah like I'd be pretty pissed too that he didn't tell you and just did that no no not cool um they yeah so they may he claims her by biting her Boop um we switched to bexley's perspective she wakes up as

happy as can be and then here's her phone going off and so she goes to check it and sees that number one Bexley fan has uploaded several videos um some are like very very shoddy quality and some are just audio but it's all of them are clearly the guys oh um secretly recording yes with like various sound bites of like talking like back at the convention about like this is just for business like we don't like I like I don't care about her this is just for numbers like all of those sort of random

like outof context sound bites right without dates I'm imagining as well um well there was one dated ironically that you say that where there was a video of crew and Katarina kissing that was a like timestamped three days um however in the future Cruis like that video was 4 years ago that video was not 3 days ago yes um but like things like Yeah from the convention but also audio from since they've been at the ranch so it's not all outdated where you can make

oh this was like before we'd spent time together but like things about like when crew was saying that he wasn't sure he could commit at the ranch but like what he was really talking about was more of like the she's Delirious in a heat like we're not going to commit if like that's the situation right we're not going to take advantage of somebody who can't fully consent 1,000% and so beex Ley though like see like listens to all of these videos sees all of the posts is like this has all been a lie

and uh tries like goes to take off and then cam tries to follow her and is like talk to me like let me explain and she's like there's nothing to explain and she just straight up leaves and she's like I guess I'll just have to live with without you through our bond she's like I know we like bonded last night that very unfortunate timing like bonded and immediately is like oh [ __ ] immediate regret yes yeah um so a we switched to Axton axon um was with the guys and they were in

town for work and then saw the videos happening and like rushed home um and when they get back to the house they just find like cam has like a bag of ice to his head and is like lock knocked me out when I like tried to like go and like talk to her and like get her to stay and they're gone and she's like throwing up walls and blocking our bond and there's like nothing I can do and like cam is just like destroyed yeah a poor baby oh yeah well so now switched to Hawk it's been two weeks

later cam is like damn near despondent in bed it's just like cannot eat cannot like it's just unable to function um and just like the pain of being separated from his bonded Omega um but then Hawk is like hey guys I called in a huge ass favor with Cohen and got her a dress in Chicago um we need to go get her yes let's all go get our girl so we cut to Bexley who's also miserable and she's been crying and and sleeping nonstop and just really struggling and has now started puking as

well and is like man I like I just like can't get my body regulated after all of this and then ardan is like you're pregnant here's a pregnancy test for you to take um and ardan also kind of like gently points out and that like in that conversation cuz she she backs her girl right she's like I'm here for you here's a pregnancy test whatever you need I'm here for also lovingly kindly maybe you didn't really talk to the guys you're hear them out maybe there's some context

we were missing and we jumped to some conclusions I love you take the pregnancy test like which I just like yeah appreciate it as like wingwoman energy as being someone who's not just blindly backing their bestie but also like like I'm going to back you but also have you considered I'm still here though mhm you don't have to consider I'm just saying yes exactly so um ardan and Jackson and lock all go out to like a few errands and bey's like okay like it's been a while

like ardan's kind of been like managing the channel I've clearly been incapacitated so she hops on to do a live and as she's doing the live the door the lock on her door gets picked and [ __ ] stalker number one Bexley fan Emory the old man who gave her the handkerchief sure sure sure like she turns around and is like Emory what are you doing in my apartment and it's like this whole like he and like kidnaps her she fights all of it is on live so everyone sees this

go down and sees her gets subjected like injects her she passes out and he just takes her and leaves so all of the guys have now made it to Chicago CU they were coming for her but they were like hey once again Camden you're her bonded Alpha you should be the one to go greet her so po Camden poor cam well cuz he goes up the elevator and knocks on the door and when he knocks on the door it creaks open right as we think and then as's kind of sitting there like what the [ __ ] is

happening uh Jackson and lock and ardan are all getting back and so they come up the other elevator and they're like what are you doing here and he's like um I came to get Bexley back and I just knocked on the door and I opened and like what is happening and they go in and like see the lamp knocked over like see the aftermath of it um and cam starts like absolutely like losing it like it was on live the breast the pack was watching from where they were so they called 911 so like right after all

of them get in and see the aftermath the police show up as well and um Shaw also like recognized them he was like he gave her a handkerchief and like remembered him and everything and like cam starts losing it especially because they're bonded and it like and she'd had this barrier up between them be and so the barrier dropped and he just is like overwhelmed by like her pain and fear and all of that was the pregnancy test positive did we ever know oh I thought it was obvious yes sorry I mean I

assumed yes but like we never said it I just I you're right sorry the pregnancy test was positive um and so cam feels like all of this and then the wall goes immediately back up and he just like becomes inconsolable and all of them are just like trying to take care him and he is absolutely struggling to the point that they were like maybe he needs to be taken back to Arizona where like he is more familiar with like the pack sense and like maybe that would kind of help

stabilize I like it's that bad so switch to Bexley um it's now been a while like it's been she's like I don't know how long I've been here but after like a couple days I realized no one was coming to get me um is is kind of the energy and like she can't keep any food down and he has her handcuffed to the bed and the few times Emory has like unhand cuffed her she's accidentally pissed them off and it hasn't gone well and she's just like riddled in bruises and and not thriving yeah yeah um and he

comes in to check on her and he's like that like like I I guess he's technically has an alpha designation but kind of that beta energy stalker of he's like I wanted to like give you time to adjust and realize you're in love with me instead of like the stalkers that are just like obviously you're in love love with me yes yeah who wouldn't be yeah so he's like brought things to like lift her spirits but now like her scent is becoming more prominent that it's changing because of the pregnancy right

and so he realizes that she's pregnant with their baby and he's like don't worry I had a situation but I can take care of this for you and she's like no no so she completely like switches and his her story and she's like well no like he's going to need a strong Alpha father and like we could raise this baby together and like you are the person for me and like I guess Emory had always really identified with beckley's Channel because she talked about not letting your designation Define you and

because he's never been the strongest of the alphas and those things like he really identified with her uh Independence Independence yes that's a great word for it and just like the the freedom and not let societal Norms tell you what you need to be so like I kind of I mean he's a stalker and obviously not cool but like I kind of felt bad for him a little bit in that way if I'm being honest you can be honest this is a safe space it is but it feels weird to be

like I'm sympathizing with the stalker a little bit not not with the stocking no I get what you're saying though you can empathize with the pain that he feels but that doesn't mean that we empathize with behavior that doesn't change the behaviors or what we did that is absolutely Fair um and so within that conversation though it's also kind of coming out that like the videos he posted he's like well I wanted to show you like what could happen so like I'm glad you realized that and she's like

what could happen not what did happen and like he like owns he's like yeah like I mean I cut like I cut some of the videos and maybe they weren't fully in context but like I wanted to make sure you understood like they were no good for you and what could happen so like she's realizing that maybe she jumped to some some conclusions and never really talked to people about it well In fairness to her she had some hormone situation going on and was not with it you're giving a lot of credit to her

pregnancy in that situation or were was it the heat that you were giving credit to I mean kind of both like the first time she ever gives into her heat that's fair and then she gets pregnant right after and doesn't really realize like I could see how it would be difficult to be making any kind of decision anyway or think rationally you know yeah that's I am giving a lot of credit but but it is no I mean that's valid but cuz I guess in my head I'm like you thinking of when I was very first

pregnant I'm like when I took the test my hormones had not shifted enough yet like feel like the irrational emotions of pregnancy um but that is very valid as well I will give her that credit but yeah so she like tells him that she like wants to raise the baby together and he's like he like tries to kiss her and is like starting to like feel her up and she's like oh I'm so dirty like I like want to like be bathed and clean for the first time and he's like I'll draw you a

bath like let's go shower and she's like okay so he goes to draw her the bath she she had one handcuff on her wrist one was on the bed he unhooked her from the bed so she wrapped the handcuffs around his neck and chokes him until she kills him good for her yeah so she kills Emory and escapes and has no idea where she is but is just like running Barefoot in the woods until she finds a dirt road and then a car happens to be driving past and like the driver like obviously sees

her and stop and it's like oh [ __ ] like you're that social media star who's all over the news that like everyone knows we've been looking for you yes you've been missing for like 2 weeks is like kind of like what it came down down to um at the hospital well I guess after the hospital he had never really touched her cuz he was kind of trying to like build their emotional connection right and so for the most part like she has some new bruises but is safe and okay

all things considered like didn't have to stay at the hospital the baby's okay um and then as she is about to leave the police station they are like her friends try and like guide her through the back and they're like oh cuz all of the news outlets are out front and so bex's like I'm going to make a grand gesture to my guys and like go give a press I'm going to send this message through the media you get it yeah which okay sure give a press conference right now yeah I'm not

a social media star I would maybe send a message a different way and that's just me yes so switch to Shaw's perspective the guys have actually are now back in Arizona because cam got that bad that they were like we cannot stay like it has been two weeks we he needs to be stabilized so they've been back for two days and they are surviving as is probably the the kindest way we can say it um and then here on the news that there's breaking news are watching this whole like

heartfelt interview where she's like saying like I like didn't give them time and credit or and all of that kind of stuff as they're watching it there's a knock on the door is it Bexley [Laughter] duh obviously I'm also thinking like if I was one of the reporters I'd be like [ __ ] I really do not care I'm interested in the old man you just killed I I don't care about your weird pack Dynamic I actually thought that when I was like reading the speech I was like are these news people like what the

[ __ ] we we thought we were about to hear about your abduction we want to hear about the weird handcuff moment like I don't care about I don't care I don't care about the ride and Alpha Channel yeah so like Bexley shows up there's all of the Declarations of love she tells them she's pregnant with their child all of they like everyone who has not claimed her officially gets to claim her they're alog together and then in the epilog they have a baby girl and also in the

epilog you like it sets it up for ardin and Cohen and whoever ends up in that book as well okay yeah that was a very fun story I really enjoyed it yeah yeah like I think there were a couple moments where just like the insecurity or like the being in your head and just like I think when you're reading that many characters being in their head you're like oh my god get it together but for the most part really enjoy it mhm yeah mhm what's our ratings go oh I don't know

handcuffs nests live streams I I don't know how many Tik Tock apps how many Tik Tok video how many reals no um we could go handcuffs it's two handcuffs she was also wearing leather pants at one point so first I was like we could do leather pants but then I realized at no point did I mention she was wearing pants nor were they really relevant we could do um um pieces of wood I don't know for the chopping I don't know why I did that hand motion I'm so so sorry wood yeah great hand

motion thank you I am known for my hand motions all right out of how many handcuffs how many handcuffs um so 10 pairs would be 20 cuffs right 20 cuffs yeah 20 cuffs um I would rate it like 15 out of 20 cuffs like I honestly think it's a very fun read M like as I said I got annoyed at a few moments and I do have some anatomical biological questions for the Omega verse but like didn't impede my enjoyment of the story so yeah I'm going to go 15 out of 20 I think I'm going to

add this one to my list it does sound like a fun one yeah I I would encourage people to if it's not on your list once again I think not by S Clair Kelly not KN n o t like the not that ends up inside of you when you're an Omega and having sex well done just in case there was any confusion about what not we were referring to so my dad has always wanted to have a band called and you're not which is a kind of not a n d u e from the time I was very small he would tell anybody that would listen

that their first album would be we are and you're not and he always just thought that it was just amazing that's such an endearing dad story it is isn't it bless it bless it well I don't know if your dad would be into the knots that we're referring to in this book I don't think so if he is I don't want to know that that's information I could do without about Dave to be honest for the record not the same Dave that I ran out of the talk for the DVR could have been we
