Welcome to another SobieCast for Comicnoobs! In this SobieCast, Sobie and Drew give everybody a preview for Suicide Squad (3:15) which is out in theaters tomorrow. Just an FYI this was recorded on 07/30 before the critic embargo was lifted. Sobie and Drew talk about their excitement for the cast and seeing what they can all do. They discuss the absolutely great marketing campaign for the film and dive into some of the controversies from behind the scenes. They also talk about how they aren’t sure how Jared Leto’s Joker will look in the film and how will the film use the character. Along with curiosities over Leto’s Joker, they also discuss Ben Affleck’s Batman and wonder how he will fit into the film. Sobie and Drew also take a suggestion from Dirty Stu and breakdown the career of Will Smith (18:15). They talk about his early start in music to his first ‘big’ gig in “The Fresh Prince.” They also go into full detail over his filmography and speculate why he made certain career moves. They also talk about what films are next for Smith and what films they would like to see him in. They also discuss underrated and overrated Will Smith performances.
