Foreign. My name is sky, and I appreciate you spending some study time with me. I'm here to help you make money in online poker by teaching you key strategies and getting you to take action. You know, I was watching a personal finances video on YouTube yesterday, and at the very beginning of the video, the guy said, if you are not saving money properly, it's not your fault. You just don't have the right tools available to you.
And then he went on to discuss a few different things about how he could help you save more money. Right. Or invest properly. And I've seen tons of fitness videos in the past that tell you, hey, if you can't lose weight, if you're not building muscle, it's not your fault. Here's why. And then blah, blah, blah, yada, yada, yada, so on and so forth, telling you what you need to do. So I want to tell you today, if you're a losing player, it is your fault.
I'm not going to tell you it's because you're missing some crazy advanced knowledge or the poker gods are out against you, the dealers hate you, the sites hate you, the bots are cheating you. No, not at all. It is entirely your fault. If you're a losing player. If you're just constantly refilling money from your life role into your bankroll and losing it to other players, losing it to the rake, you are a losing player, and it's all your fault.
Now, when it comes to financial health or physical health, everybody knows how simple it is. Financial health, you spend less than you make physical health, you eat healthy and you exercise. Super simple. But while it's simple, it is difficult to do. Your habits get in the way of life circumstances, all that kind of stuff, right? But just the general idea of getting financially healthy, physically healthy, boom, Simple. It's the same thing for going from losing poker to winning poker.
So answer this question. What is the simple way for me to start winning? You know the answer. But most of you that are losing players right now do not want to do it. Here's the answer. Three simple letters. S. Study. L. Learn A. Apply. That is all that it takes to be a winning player. First is study. You watch a video, you read a chapter in a book, you listen to this podcast, you read an article online, you learn from it.
So you think about how those strategies apply to your game, you take notes on it, and then you apply it. So you play a session with the idea of practicing that strategy. You learned. You watched the video about check, raise, bluffing, the flop awesome. You took notes on it. Have those notes open in front of you as you play a session and analyze every single flop, whether you're involved or not, for its check, raise, bluffing potential. Analyze the opponent who is c betting for your bluff. Raise.
Checking potential against them. It truly is the simplest thing, but it is difficult. I know that we all have lives outside of poker. We have families, we have friends, we have events, we have things that we need to do. But if you truly want to get out of losing poker, sla, Study, learn, apply. When you internalize that, when you finally do that for yourself, day in and day out, when you stop blaming outside factors for your losses and you internalize all of it, it is your own fault.
But now you're going to make changes. You're going to actively sla, study, learn, apply. To become the player that you want to be, the profitable player that you long to be. When you do that, boom. The sky is the limit. Alrighty. Thank you so much for listening today. And please, SLA study, learn, apply on your way to poker success. I'll catch you in the next one, Gambat.
