In a milestone for the Chronicles we interview our first city Mayor - Councillor Khal Asfour of the City of Canterbury Bankstown, in New South Wales Australia. Of all the cities in the nation, why Canterbury Bankstown? For starters, its the largest local authority in New South Wales, one of the most culturally diverse, is the eighth largest economy in Australia, and has just finished a year long consultation period with its community about how the city will be using technology and data to lift up opportunity and create greater value for its citizens.
