WHO PUT BELLA IN THE WYCH ELM?

There are many theories about the body that was discovered in a Wych Elm tree in Worcestershire, England. Who was the woman in the tree, and how did she die? Who wrote the graffiti saying: "WHO PUT BELLA IN THE WYCH ELM", and were they connected to the case? 
This may just be a case that is never solved.
