I am a huge fan of collecting souvenirs. I believe one of the greatest journey is to bring out your emotions into something tangible and I find it relieving and beautiful to leave a part of me behind which I can revisit. May be someday, I will look at my emotions back and smile at my younger-self. I'd really like that. I welcome you to my world of "recycle bin" where I'll share with you different pieces of my feelings in forms of poems, stories, diary entries etc. both in Hindi as well as English. Let's go.

Iljaam

Iljaam = Blame (See. The app that I use to publish my things requires me put to add description, any kind of description. Now, I am not going to make a diary entry here. So, this word-meaning is what we end up dealing with.)

Genhun aur Ghun

Genhun aur Ghun = Wheat and Weevils. Reference being a famous Indian proverb that roughly translates too: Weevils are also crushed with the wheat (during the process to grind wheat into flour)

Masaledar

The kind of environment that went with the storyline might seem like patriarchal. You aren’t wrong. While I keep trying my best not to walk on those lines, such was the environment I grew up in. So, with that disclaimer, I hope you can find some fun which was intended.

The Perfect Date

I apologize for a few mispronunciations and literal mistakes. “Grazing” is actually “gazing” and a “know” is “knew.” I hope you can forgo these mistakes as I do to my new years resolutions (ouch).

Sleeping Pillow 01 - Mulakat

Why is this so that meeting with someone you were together once is awkward, yet so exhilarating? Isn't it beautiful to meet someone from your past and you look how much they have grown? You look at yourself from their eyes and notice how much you have changed, for good. "You live, you die and in between you fall in love and taste both" Credits: 1. Introductory poem: Nida Fazli 2. Conclusive poem: Faiz Ahmed Faiz 3. Background music: Dekha Hazaron Dafa Aapko, Rustom (2016)
