I'm Bishop td Jakes, inviting you to unwind your mind and spirit with Tonight's sleep song. Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain, who build it? Unless a lord watches over the city, the watchman guards it in vain. Psalm one twenty seven, Verse one, Gracious God, tonight, I pray for favor. As I drift tonight, laying my head down to rest, I think about all the things I have to do and the things I want to accomplish. The only thing I fear more than failure is succeeding

at something without purpose. Unless you are in the work I do, the work is meaningless. I pray that you would reveal what truly matters and give me the diligence to pursue it passionately. I want to honor you in all I do, or else it is done in vain. Give me vision tonight so I might secure a legacy of faithfulness that lasts throughout the generations. Allow opportunities to work diligently for something greater than myself. So I can sleep soundly, knowing I have earned my rest In Jesus' name.

I pray, Amen, thank you for praying with me. I'm Bishop td Jakes inviting you to unwine your mind and spirit with Tonight's Sleep Song. Prepare your heart for this devotional from the Book of Psalms, guiding you into a RESTful embrace under His watchful eyes. Thank you for joining me, Bishop td Jakes for tonight's episode of the Sleep Psalms Podcast. If this episode blessed you, follow the podcast so you never miss a nightly encouragement.

Hello, I'm Grace for tonight's sleep song. By com we will be meditating on Psalm one hundred and twenty seven. Begin this meditation by getting in a comfortable position that allows for optimal oxygen flow on your body. Whether you lie down or sit up in a chair. Make sure your back is flat and straight, your chest is open, your shoulders are back, and your hands are resting by your side or on your lap. Take a nice, deep breath.

Feel the oxygen fill your lungs. Exhale slowly, and allow the oxygen to circulate throughout your body, healing you and restoring you. Breathe in and out slowly. Open your mind and heart to hear God's word. Take a deep breath, lift your anxious thoughts. God exhale slowly and release your fears and worries into his hands. Take another deep breath. Focus on your heartbeat. Focus on controlling your breathing to

slow down your heart rate. As you exhale, release the air from your lungs slowly, calming your mind and settling your heart. Prepare to listen to God's word. Tonight's psalm reminds us building a life without God as our foundation is meaningless. When we build our homes, our careers, and our families on the firm foundation of our faith, we can experience His joy and find rest in His provision. Psalm one hundred twenty seven from the King James version says,

accept the Lord build the house. They labor in vain, that build it ex except the Lord keep the city. The watchman waketh, but in vain. It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows. For so he giveth his beloved sheep. Low children are a heritage of the Lord, and the fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man, so are children of the youth. Happy is the man that

hath his quiver full of them. They shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate. Anything worth building needs a firm foundation or it will crumble. We all want the right home, the right job, and the right spouse, but first we need to get right with God. Tonight, take some time to meditate on His kingdom building principles, and commit to building your life on His love, grace, and truth. Take a deep breath, invite the presence of God into your home, your work, and

your family. Exhale slowly and surrender your life to God. Let his hands guide you to his path of peace, where you will find rest to refresh your soul, restore your body, and renew your spirit and mind. Breathe in and out slowly. Meditate on His truth. Reflect on the life he is calling you to live. Think about what is important to building God's kingdom, putting your faith and trust in Him, sharing your testimony with others, Investing in your family and the next generation to pass on the

faith in the Lord. Take a deep breath, lift your thoughts to God and commit to building your life on the firm foundation of your faith and of His provision. Think of a time when your work or your finances took priority over your faith and family. Reflect on the order of these priorities in your life right now. Ask God for his forgiveness for the times you have put work and money over spending time with Him and your family. Ask Him to help you prioritize your tasks based on

what is important to him. Breathe in his mercy and peace. Breathe out your shame and worries. Remember the Lord knows what you need, and he will provide for you when you seek His kingdom and his righteousness. Thank the Lord for all that he has given to you. Thank him for your family and friends. Thank Him for his provision and protection in your life. Think of person who needs God's provision in their life. Pray he will give them what they need for tomorrow, and he will give them

peace to help them rest tonight. Call upon the Lord and lift your requests. Ask for his help in accomplishing your daily tasks. Know if you remain in the Lord, you can lead a fruitful life that fully satisfies you and completely fulfills you. Pray for the next generation. Pray God will protect our children from evil and will turn their hearts toward Him. Pray for opportunities to invest in the next generation. Pray God will equip you to pass on your faith to the children in your life. Pray

for God's provision in your life. Pray you will depend on Him for what you need. And balance your life at home and at work, and make time for recas. Take a deep breath, rest in the provision of the Lord. Exhale slowly and release any stress and tension that is still lingering from today. Relax your neck and shoulders, soften your fingers and toes, close your eyes, and take one more deep, cleansing breath. Be filled with the peace of

the Lord. Exhale slowly and allow his peace to help you experience deep, RESTful sleep throughout the night.
