Utah may not have landed a marquee name in free agency, but they quietly leveled up the roster with a trio of seasoned vets — each bringing something unique to the Mammoth. Forward Brandon Tanev and defenseman Nate Schmidt and goaltender Vitek Vanecek, all inked deals with the as the market opened. Together, they add not just depth, but valuable veteran experience — Schmidt and Vanecek are fresh off winning rings in Florida, while Tanev, is poised to become a cult hero in Utah, according to his agent and general manager Bill Armstrong.
