Intro / Opening

This show is brought to you by Acorns Early. So true story, when I was a kid, the very first thing I saved up for was a Build-A-Bear. Seriously, I'd stash away my allowance week after week until I finally had the $25 I needed. Then I'd get one and immediately start the countdown all over again for the next Build-A-Bear.

The thing is, I wasn't really learning much about money back then, except maybe how shockingly fast I could spend it on Build-A-Bears. Yikes. If you want your kids to be savers, not just spenders like me, Acorns Early makes it easy. Acorns Early is a smart debit card and money app designed to help kids build real-world money skills. You can start simple with the in-app chores tracker, showing your kids the value of a dollar.

Then let them set savings goals, track their progress, and build healthy money habits early on. With Acorns Early, you're not just giving your kids a place to save. You're giving them the tools to grow into smart, confident, financially literate adults.

Brynnleigh's Memory Loss Fears

There are kids in this world who are different. Special. They go to school in a place you can't find on a map. And they're about to get... a new classmate. Hello? Joyce threw me. I wasn't expecting Dark Vader on the other line. It's not that deep. Whatever. Any change to Cyrus? Dr. Anders says he's getting weaker. But Jimmy and I have a plan. Jimmy and you. Everything all right at school? Yeah, it's perfect. I'm perfect. Obvi. Hey, I don't mean to pry.

It's nothing. I've just... been thinking about that period of time when you couldn't remember anything. It must have been scary. And sad. Do you mind answering in your old, young voice, just so I can remember? Uh, yeah, sure. Let's see. When I was lost in the forest and I didn't know... I was. You came up to me, introduced yourself, gave me a hug, and told me not to worry. That it would be okay. And after that, I... I didn't feel so alone.

You know what? I just want you to be you. I'm sorry. You can go back. Oh, thanks. Why are you asking about this, Brittany? No reason. Just, you know, maybe a little homesick. Kinda scared of forgetting the Juno me. Say the word, and once this mission is over, Mr. Borden and I will be in New York by the end of the day. Badger. Hey, Badge! We gotta rock and roll! Sorry, Brynn.

When am I not? Talk to you later, sis. I hope so. You were lying to Badger. No. Yes, you said you are fine. You are not fine. Fine! Not fine. I mean, fine I'm not fine! Saibot, what if I'm turning into one of them? One of who? The other kids at the school. They don't remember anything about where they came from before they got here. When I watched that video, I didn't recognize Cyrus. Whatever this place did to them, I think it's doing to me.

I'm losing my memories from home. And if we don't do something fast, this will be the only home I have left.

Confrontation Over Past Memories

How is this moldy stairwell supposed to help you keep your memories? It's not. You are. Please elaborate. This is the stairwell we saw Cyrus enter on the video. But something terrible happened to him down here. We don't know that. Yes. We do. Brinley, can I make a suggestion? I'd rather you didn't. Why don't we leave? Go back to Juno. Forget this place existed. I can't do that. Because you don't know if Cyrus is going to recover. What happened to him?

It wasn't an accident. It's connected to everything that's going on here. And maybe to my mom. But if you keep losing memories... You need to hang on to them. How am I... Start recording. Now! Recording, but I should warn you. Where do I start? I mean, my first memory of going hunting with Daddy. The day I found a badger in the woods. The moment I realized Cyrus and I were meant to be together.

The last time I saw my mom? Battery critically low. You were supposed to charge overnight. How long can you function? Somebody's coming. Alaska? Casey? What are you doing in here? Sorry, didn't realize you and your toaster slash bestie were having a moment. What do you talk to a hunk of metal about anyway? Hear that? I'm a hunk. That's not what I meant. Brinley was using me to help her remember her life in Juno. I don't actually want to know. Nobody cares about your musty old memories. I do.

They're what make me who I am. You think remembering things from before makes you better than everyone else here? Better than me? No. I'm better than you because I'm better than you. Please. If you ask me, all those memories just make you weak. Weak?! You don't think I hear you? On those weepy, whiny, homesick calls to your family? Constantly worrying about your vegetable of a boyfriend? Take that back, you foggy brain freak! Didn't mean to offend.

But at Elixir, we focus on the now. The past just gets in the way. So you have nothing in the past that you care about? No parents, no family? I have everything I want right here. Except your old roommate, Mila. You cared about her, right? She was here. So was Cyrus. Did you do something to him? Me? He was on your tour. I saw it. You know what, Alaska? You should do yourself a favor. Let it go. Forget about everything. No, I won't forget! I won't.

Family Concerns and New Allies

I hate leaving Cyrus alone, Mom. He's not alone. And I'm going right back there. You just concentrate on school. School is a waste of my time. You don't mean that. No, because school will help me get as smart as you and dad. Especially you. I'm just hoping I'm smart enough to save your brother. We're working on it, right? I mean, I even recruited Bruce to help me find the woman in Cyrus' room. Or... whatever she is. You recruited Bruce? To try and trace her scent. You mean by being Adam?

Well, kinda. You know what he was capable of, Bird. He took Dr. Whittier's life. Yeah, but Bruce would never go back to that. Right? You should have asked first. Like you've been asking me. You may own a company, Birdie, but you are still a teenager and I am still your mother. Look, maybe I'm not as good of a person as you, but shouldn't we be going to any length to save Cyrus?

There are limits. Are there? Ugh, where is Dad when I need him? He and Badger went on one of their missions. I haven't been able to reach him. What kind of mission? I don't know. But your mission is to walk into school and learn stuff. Okay? Okay, okay. Oh, I see Cora and Dora over there. Bye, Mom. Bye, kiddo. Have a great day. Where are you? I'm coming to help

Saibot's Disappearance

Who is it? Friendly, it's Penn. Hang on, I'm coming. Hey, did I wake you up? Of course you woke me up. I just came back to charge Saibot between classes and... Where did he go? Huh? Saibot! He was right on my bedside table, now he's... He's gone! Can he walk away by himself? He wouldn't do that. I'll check the hallway. Casey! She was the only one who knew I brought him here to charge. If Saibot is with her, my memories are too.

Memories of... the Anders family and... Why can't I remember? I need to get off this stinking island before none of me is left.
