¶ Mounting Family Anxiety and Brindley's Call
Mom, what do you think that noise was, out in the jungle? I don't know, Birdie. It sounded like an explosion. Why aren't we hearing from Dad? Your father will check in when there's something to report. Do you think he's scared out there, in the jungle? In the dark with all those robot animals? There's not a lot that scares your father. Only when his kids are in danger. Yeah.
Wish I could be out there with him or trying to find Brinley. I know, Cyrus, but you need to rest. Your father will bring Holiday and Casey back safely. Is-is Holiday with her? Cy, you need to lie back down. Cyrus, stay in the medevac. No. Cyrus, you're going to hurt yourself. Casey! Cyrus? Cypher? I've got you, Casey. Tell me what happened. As far as I can tell, she had to...
Use her abilities again. On what? Bots. Lots of holobots. Where is Holiday, Casey? Where is she? Adam. They fought. Over the waterfall. What? They... fell. I have a team searching at the bottom of the falls for them. So far, nothing. Holiday... But she fell off a building. She was fine. She'll be okay, right? We think so, Bird. I'm sorry. I... I tried.
