Episode description
Katie and Bridget go live in a castle in Transylvania as they re-watch one of the OG parody films: Young Frankenstein! It's a movie all about Dr. Frankenstein (pronounced Franken-Schtein) who inherits his grandfathers castle and therefore means he immediately becomes obsessed with continuing grandpa's previous science experiments on reanimating dead people. He's not being crazy alone though - there's also Igor, the sassiest assistant you've ever seen, and Inga, the assistant who should really just worry about putting the candle BACK! Together they bring to life the Frankenstein monster, who might have an Abby-Normal brain, but he can also perform a Broadway style tap dance routine. Will the town of Transylvania learn to accept Dr. Frankenstein and his creation? Is Madeline's Kahn's character the BEST in the movie!? Released in 1974, it was directed by Mel Brooks who also co-wrote the script alongside the leading actor: Gene Wilder.
