But when Johnny leaves to visit his dying mother in Italy, Loretta is tasked to meet up with his brother Ronny to try and convince him to come to the wedding. With a little self-loathing, whiskey, and talks of wolves and moons the two fall in love and get - ready for it? - MOONSTRUCK! Oh yeah there's also a couple other cheating subplots, psychological investigations, dogs, and grandpa's there too. We've got Brooklyn, Italian families, and a stage-play-set-up with this movie that earned Cher her Oscar! Released in 1987, it stars Cher, Nicolas Cage, Olympia Dukakis, and Danny Aiello.
