Episode description
Katie and Bridget play a murderous board game as they re-watch the movie Jumanji! It's a children's horror movie (there's really no other way to spin it), all about how playing the board game Jumanji releases a number of terrifying jungle dangers set to kill you. We've got characters: Alan Parrish, who got stuck in the game for 26 years and needs to know WHAT YEAR IS IT; Sarah, who is not a good psychic since she couldn't see all this trauma coming; and orphan siblings Judy and Peter, who both just really need a vacation or something because damn. Will they be able to defeat the game and survive the animals, earthquakes, stampedes, monsoons, poisons, plants, spiders, and Van Pelt/Pam Belt? Odds aren't great but they figure it out! Released in 1995, it stars Robin Williams, Bonnie Hunt, Kristen Dunst, Jonathan Hyde, Bradley Pierce, and David Alan Grier.
