FALLING IN LOVE WITH POTENTIAL

Falling for potential is when you fall in love with the idea of what someone could be like instead of who they actually are.  During the honeymoon phase they display the characteristics  you'd potentially seek in a partner, but then when they start to get comfortable its like where did that go ? He/ she was so good in the beginning and then it just went away. Well that’s because It was never actually real and the whole relationship is built on ideals rather than reality !When you’re so empathetic and giving you will find that you come across a lot of people who want to take advantage of that, being empathetic is great but it can cause you to miss a lot of red flags or just become color blind because you’re looking at something for what it could be instead of what it actually is and being able to discern reality from what you want reality to be is very important ! establishing self love and a healthy relationship with yourself is key to sharpening your discernment.
