Episode description

How did being a senior citizen become associated with degeneration and uselessness instead of wisdom and leadership?  In any other context, the word senior means someone who is advanced and respected in their field.  We've developed a culture where senior citizens are robbed of their true identify - so much so that many seniors buy in to their very own dis-empowerment.  Our guest, Veola Momom, is more than just a senior advocate, she is an example.  At 71 years of age, Veola is moving, working and setting new heights for herself.  She's dedicated to empowering senior citizens to bring forth their hidden treasures. Her book, "OH MY ... I AM THE POWER!", is written to encourage senior citizens to clearly take back their identity and a guide to living a full and meaningful life.
