So John and his partner Scott served together in Iraq from 2003 to 2004 with a 3. With the 3.327th infantry out of Fort Campbell in the 101st Airborne Division where John was a machine gunner and Scott was a sniper. Could you imagine being a sniper out there smoking cigars.

The resulting smoke provides contrasting notes of pepper, leather, citrus and fruits. A small band of candela circles the gap. The cap. Sorry. As a subtle nod to the glorious green hue that emanates from the advanced infrared night vision optics used so effectively in the war on
terror. So the wrapper, we've said it's an Ecuadorian Habino Oscaro. The filler is Nicaraguan, the binder is Indonesian. So first, my thoughts. I love this cigar. Yeah, so one of the things that I liked about, um, has a, um, it's a medium body, um, Ecuadarian. >> Good ol’ Boy Benjamin: Hey, Ecuadorian. >> Unidentified Good ol’ Boy Benjamin+++ Benjamin Good ol’ Boy Bark: That's how we say it out in pegram. >> Good ol’ Boy Barker: That's my cousin, Ecuadorian.

Very consistent, good ash. Everything
I liked about it. Can't. This thing looks cool. >> : Well, this one is. This is the green. That's right. >> Good ol’ Boy Benjamin: Yeah. >> Good ol’ Boy Barker: If you like this one, they got one called Dumpster Fire. They send us some. That thing looks awesome.

And then that little papa candela right there at the cap. >> Good ol’ Boy Barker: Yeah.
>> Good ol’ Boy Benjamin: Just kind of ties everything together. Like really good looking smoke, which I think is, uh, one of those things, you know, you see it on the shelf. It. You're gravitated towards it because you're like, oh, man, that looks pretty cool. And then, you know, obviously, uh, if you're into, you know, thinking all of our service members out there and into, you know, war history and all those type of things, like this thing pops right off the shelf.
>> Unidentified Good ol’ Boy Benjamin+++ Benjamin Good ol’ Boy Bark: Yeah. >> : Well, so I like the first part of the conversation that you and I were having, Benjamin. Uh, is that the. This is a lot of combinations that you don't routinely find. And so I think that was the thing that stood out across a lot of this product line is just you don't find a lot of these, you know, particular combos.
>> Good ol’ Boy Benjamin: This one's. This one's actually the most straightforward out of the entire lineup. >> : Yeah. So, uh, you know, having a Habana squirrel, you know, wrapper with a Nika and Indonesian binder. Um, yes, there are definitely, you know, some, some other people that have that combo. But, you know, I, uh, I don't know. As far as, you know, the packaging itself, I like the fact that it was fairly simple and they didn't have a secondary band, so.
>> Good ol’ Boy Barker: Yeah. >> : Yeah. >> Good ol’ Boy Barker: Oh, I loved it. We'll be right back. Welcome back. I hope you buy everything in the ads because, uh, that's what helps us. So Mike has a couple things he wants to say about the, uh, night shift. So, Mike, what are your thoughts on that? >> : Well, so here is, uh, some of the notes that I took while I was enjoying the night shift from War Fighter. >> Good ol’ Boy Barker: It's time for War.
>> : Uh, so there was kind of some pepper in the lead. Kind, um, of brighter and more vibrant wittiness, you know, kind of behind that. And then there's this creaminess that was kind of in the background. Um, you know, the habano oscuro just never showed up for me. Um, you know, I love that wrapper. And when it's well done, you know, I'm like, okay, game on, you know? But, yeah, at the end of the day, I was kind of like, meh.
>> Good ol’ Boy Barker: I thought it had that hint of spice that just. Just. I like the cigar as well. So I. I have the spicy notes. The. Everything I got out was great. >> Unidentified Good ol’ Boy Benjamin+++ Benjamin Good ol’ Boy Bark: I think it was a little bit. A little bit more mellow. Not as spicy, but I did. I did feel the spice. I had this. >> : I would give this cigar to my third favorite cousin.
>> Unidentified Good ol’ Boy Benjamin+++ Benjamin Good ol’ Boy Bark: Okay, so number three. >> Good ol’ Boy Barker: Well, we're gonna give it a three. >> : All righty. >> Good ol’ Boy Barker: Smokes rating. A three. That's three out of five for those who don't know us. Uh, up next, we got the 7.62 field Sumatra, and I think Benjamin's gonna take that away. >> Good ol’ Boy Benjamin: Yeah, 7.62 millimeter field Sumatra. Very consistent smoke throughout. Floral
notes, some leather and earth tones. Don't overpower. Hints of burnt marshmallow and sugar. Give a pleasant sweetness. Very pleasant. Retro hell. Good smoke any time of the day. Uh, this one is rapper, uh, Indonesian Sumatra. Binder is Habano. Filler is Habano from Esteli. Habano from Condega and Dominican Republic. Uh, and so that really leads into what we're talking about with these blends. They, uh, the filler specifically, it needs.
>> Good ol’ Boy Barker: A little bit of extra something there. >> Good ol’ Boy Benjamin: Uh, you can tell they paid a lot of attention to the filler and where they source those tobaccos from and kind of blended some different regions together. >> Good ol’ Boy Barker: Right. >> Good ol’ Boy Benjamin: Which would definitely give you the, uh, implication that this is, you know,
something that bodes a lot of complexity. There's a lot of thought that goes into, uh, these blends that they put together. Uh, and I would consider this to be one of their baseline smokes. >> Good ol’ Boy Barker: Yeah, it's for sure baseline, but I mean, they definitely have a distinct palette, I think. >> Good ol’ Boy Benjamin: Yeah, well, and. And I mean, baseline from, like, it's a. It's a foundational
smoke for them. Right. They're always going to put out the Sumatra, the Connecticut, the Maduro, those kind of styles and shaded rappers 100. Um, and this thing was solid. The Sumatra was there for me. That cool, like, kind of creamy vibe that you get from it. Um, subtle. >> Good ol’ Boy Barker: Subtle. White, Peppery. >> Good ol’ Boy Benjamin: Yeah. So some cool, peppery notes. Uh, that. That marshmallow kind of leathery, oaky is on the retro
hell, a bit. Um, but my favorite thing and what I would commend them the most about for all of these smokes. No burn issues. These things burn laser sharp all the way through, so they're very well constructed. >> Good ol’ Boy Barker: 100. >> Good ol’ Boy Benjamin: Uh, they also produce a decent amount of smoke, too. So it's got. It's got a big, you know, smoking experience to it. >> Unidentified Good ol’ Boy Benjamin+++ Benjamin Good ol’ Boy Bark: Big plume.
>> : I'll echo that element about quality. Uh, I mean, literally, those are the words on my review. Quite possibly the best burn line I've ever had. >> Good ol’ Boy Benjamin: Yeah, absolutely. >> Good ol’ Boy Barker: I have. I'm, um. I'm a huge quality nerd. So if I start getting burned wonky. If I start getting canoe issues. Canoe issues. Or it starts getting squishy, I'm done. I'm done. And I'll say I smoked all these down to
the nub, I mean. And it stayed consistent all the way down through it. >> : Yeah. And that was not true of just this stick. Um, there was something that was across, uh, the vast majority of the product line. Really great quality. >> Good ol’ Boy Benjamin: When we talked about it a little bit up front, where everything that we got in this lineup was in the Toro size. And fun fact, they. They cover every Vitola right, uh, through their core line.
So I would really enjoy this. Um, I would enjoy to revisit it. >> Good ol’ Boy Barker: Like a petite Lancero. >> Good ol’ Boy Benjamin: I knew it. I knew it. >> Unidentified Good ol’ Boy Benjamin+++ Benjamin Good ol’ Boy Bark: Bingo. >> Good ol’ Boy Benjamin: They do one. They do one called the. The Minuteman, which is like a 4x44. Just like a little dog walker, petite Corona, whatever you want to call it. Um, and I think that would
be a really cool way to revisit this brand. Yeah. >> : Ah, yeah. >> Unidentified Good ol’ Boy Benjamin+++ Benjamin Good ol’ Boy Bark: I really enjoyed this one as well. I did have a little bit of issue with it, but it was probably more of my environment than anything else I had to put. But, um, hostile environment. Yeah. Hosta. Yeah. Well, you know, when you're smoking, uh, in the enemy territory, sometimes, um, you have to relight a little bit.
But, no, I had a, um. I had a good experience with all of them. Like you guys said, really good construction. Yeah, I found this one kind of. I mean, I found it pretty good. Solid. This is something definitely I'd pick up again. Um, but, uh, you think they flicked. >> Good ol’ Boy Benjamin: One of these lit into, like, a barrel of gasoline, I hope, set off the, like, that slow mo fireball that they could walk away from.
>> Good ol’ Boy Barker: Like, a really cool advertisement where it's just, like, blowing up a car and they're walking towards it. >> : Hey, Daryl, watch this. >> Good ol’ Boy Barker: It's like 7, 6, 2, millimeter field there. >> : I'll show you. Burn line, boy. >> Good ol’ Boy Barker: Nailed it. >> : You know, hang on a second. >> Good ol’ Boy Barker: It's time for war. Let's give our take on this, guys. What do you think?
>> : I'm gonna. I. Yeah, I'm not there yet, man. So, no, I didn't get to talk about it. I had a couple of things to add. >> Good ol’ Boy Barker: All right, well, go ahead. >> : Yeah. So, um, some other things here in my review. This spicy woody up front. I'm sorry, did we say wood. >> Good ol’ Boy Barker: Like Peewee's Playhouse? Every time he.
>> : They would, uh, you know, but I think you would expect that, you know, with this much, you know, Nicaragua kind of going on, uh, and it wasn't a puro, you know, through and through. And when I was kind of looking at that filler, I was like, why would you do that? You know, Are you. Are you trying to add complexity or are you trying to balance out something that you picked early on and you're like, well, this is just not right.
>> Unidentified Good ol’ Boy Benjamin+++ Benjamin Good ol’ Boy Bark: Maybe they got a deal on it. >> : Exactly. I was. >> Good ol’ Boy Barker: I was. >> : I was kind of thinking that, you know, that's kind of. They. They ran into a good deal, and they're like, oh, we can mellow this out and make it, you know, sing the way we want to. Because I was just looking at this kitchen sink, you know, concept, you know, um, in the filler itself and
going, why are you doing that? And I kept on waiting for something to kind of jump out at me and going, oh, well, that's why they did it. And that was just never the case. But, um, it did kind of mellow out after the first ash, but big, huge plumes of smoke, you know, coming off of this for sure. >> Good ol’ Boy Benjamin: Yeah. >> : And, uh, definitely a lot more wood.
Yeah. Uh, but all in all, I. It was kind of filling that category where, you know, um, at, you know, my third best cousin, you know, his next birthday, I'd give him this other stick as well, so. >> Good ol’ Boy Barker: Well, we're gonna go with force. >> : Yeah. Okay. All righty. My rating here for the war fighters. >> Good ol’ Boy Benjamin: Magnificent. >> Good ol’ Boy Barker: Magnificent. >> : 762 is a 4 rating. So. There you go.

>> Good ol’ Boy Barker: We were discussing this before post here, and, uh, we have some things to say to you people out there and. >> Good ol’ Boy Benjamin: Listen well, listen up. >> : Listen well, well, you know, so we all smoke in, uh, different places and different times of the year. And, and um, I mean, both Benjamin and Barger, they have a place in their house that, you know, they can. >> Good ol’ Boy Barker: Go and called my house.
>> : Yeah. And, and smoke in. >> Good ol’ Boy Benjamin: I smoke in the garage. >> : Rich and I. Rich and I don't, we, we don't smoke in our, in our homes themselves. So we usually have to go outside or somewhere else, you know, and, you know, we're kind of at the behest of weather, you know, to make that decision. So we definitely, you know, get around and check out, you know, some cigar lenders.
And I, I actually like that, you know, because I'm, I'm out there, you know, with the consumer base. I get to see, you know, what are some of the things that, you know, they're seeing, you know, what works for them, more importantly, what doesn't work. And boy, I tell you, just, you know, it is really just all over the place. And, and it's not
just unique to, you know, one city. tobacco works there. Right. I think those days are long gone because I really find that the conversations move into. Do you think that that is over complicating everything or they're missing the opportunity to do something that's just a little easier for them to pull it off or it's distracting or. >> Good ol’ Boy Benjamin: I think, I think we'd have to have a little bit more insight from the guys that are blending it. Why? Just because I don't know if it's who they're working with, with the factory that's producing the cigar for them or if it's.
They're having the opportunity, uh, or their only opportunity is to buy these different styles of tobacco from these different regions to consistently be able to produce this line and like keep them in business. So there's there's kind of two trains of thought there, right? Is the, is it somebody from the factory kind of leading them in this direction or using some of these tobaccos for whatever reason, they need to get rid of them, they need to move through
them? Uh, or is it someone like on the war fighter team that's like, hey, man, this would be really cool, and is nerding out on the blending thing and, you know, trying to get close earlier this week. >> Good ol’ Boy Barker: And he's there now doing this. So they're coming, um, making some more product stuff there right now. So I think that's what he's doing is blending and sourcing right now. >> : Maybe it's a Canadian thing.

not doing that? You know, fair enough. And, um, and what's kind of drawing them in to do that? And I thought that all of your, you know, some of your comments would, you know, whoever they're using, you know, as primary construction, may this, that may be their mark. That may be, you know, their thing, their identity, which is I, you know, the only way I achieve a great filler is to use, you know, two or three blends, right? And you know, maybe that's just.
That could be very, you know, um, iconic, that sets them apart, um, and lets them produce something that's very Unique. That not a whole lot of people are doing because, you know, I can't begin to tell you how many. How many combos do we have where the only difference is. Is the color of the band at the end of the day. >> Good ol’ Boy Barker: Right. >> : And, you know, so I love the fact that this is something that is not more of the same. So if it
sounds like I'm complaining about it. Um, exactly. Quite the opposite. I'm actually trying to say thank you for doing something. >> Good ol’ Boy Benjamin: Genuine curiosity. >> : 100, you know, um, is it innovative? I don't know. Um, I love that aspect, like, gives you just

little, you know, exploratory with the. Yes, but, you know, in the howls of a really complex Maduro. I, um, was kind of hoping the oscuro would pop in and smack me in the face
with some pepper. Um, it didn't really show up. >> Good ol’ Boy Benjamin: I'm waiting. >> Good ol’ Boy Barker: Yeah. But it was a subtle pepper to me, which is kind of consistent to what they've, like the spicier and subtle notes, uh, I've, uh, had of all their cigars so far has just been subtle. It's like subtle little hints of this and subtle little hints of that. >> : Yeah. >> Good ol’ Boy Barker: Nothing that really slapped me in the face like, oh, my God, that's
pepper. You know, it's just like, oh, you know, I, I picking that up. Yeah, that's. >> : I mean, if somebody said, I want a wimpy maduro, boom, um, this would be. >> Good ol’ Boy Barker: Yeah, I mean, I wouldn't put it as a wimpy, but I wouldn't put it as a strong either. I think it's a good mild maduro. Um, I would honestly smoke this cigar every day. Like, I like this hot dog. Yeah, you would, huh? Huh? Yeah, I would.
>> Good ol’ Boy Benjamin: For me, it was, it was, you know, uh, not the expectation that I had for something that. That reads, you know, double Maduro. Right. And, and you expect those big blasts of, uh, coffee and cocoa. >> : Not gonna happen. >> Good ol’ Boy Benjamin: Right. Uh, all those, you know, dark caramelized sugars that you normally get for something. And. But it was, it was, it was very, like medium bodied, you know, still
the big smoke, still a great construction. Little, uh, bits of like hazelnut and kind of nuttiness. The, the spice didn't really come through for me on the oscuro. >> Good ol’ Boy Barker: Sure. >> Good ol’ Boy Benjamin: Um, even on the retro, which is normally where I pick up a lot of those. >> Good ol’ Boy Barker: Right. >> Good ol’ Boy Benjamin: Spicy notes to be a bit more prominent.
Um, but this, this is also something for me I'd, uh, really like to revisit in a smaller ring gauge. >> Good ol’ Boy Barker: Yeah, no, for sure. And a Maduro for me is, um, you know, I like a Maduro if it's done well. It's not necessarily something I reach for every day, but I, I have
to agree. 100. This was just kind of so. And, and I, you know, I like the simplicity of what they're doing. So, um. solid. You know, this is a very good gift buy is 100%. >> Good ol’ Boy Benjamin: Yeah. This is the one that you go and you buy a handful of when you're going to that bottle share. You're. You're going to golf, hang out at the golf course. Right. I think this is a good, you know, gateway into some of the things out there. >> : I agree with that. >> Good ol’ Boy Benjamin: Have a lot more complexity, a lot more strength. It's
a, it's a way that you can get into cigars. It's not going to knock you down from the, the strength from a nicotine perspective of the cigar. >> Good ol’ Boy Barker: And the price points are pretty good too. >> Good ol’ Boy Benjamin: Really solid baseline and, and I can't say enough packaging's there. Branding is there for them.
