In today’s episode, Sarah travels to 1950s New York for her story on the Sullivan Institute - the cult-like group that convinced individuals to abandon the nuclear family dynamic and adopt an alternative lifestyle where therapy sessions were mandatory, sleepovers were encouraged, and rules were to be followed without exception. Take a cult, turn it on its head, and it’s still a cult.
