In June of 2024, Mississippi jailer Ronnie Hunt was arrested and charged with helping inmate Joshua Zimmerman escape. Zimmerman, who fled to Chicago after his escape, was being held on attempted murder and robbery charges. So, what would cause a jailer to help a dangerous criminal escape and was there more than just one player in helping to facilitate it?
