We live in a culture of increasing loneliness and individualism which has become destructive to the mental health of young people. The increasing commercialization of mental health and the rapid sale of self-help books and guided courses towards improving mental health have led to worsening mental health around the board. In this episode, Fatima talks about how the only way to truly care for oneself is through “community care”, or being surrounded by others who see themselves as part of your family, and how we can make that a reality."
