Jared Carrabis Podcast Episode 40: Xander Gets Tossed

The Red Sox lost two out of three to the Orioles this weekend and despite some people saying Sunday's loss was the biggest of the year, Positive Paul is back. He thinks six games back of the third wild card spot in late August is a great spot to be at. Jared adds in some positivity saying if the Sox didn't give up a 15-spot on Friday night they easily could've won that game. Xander Bogaerts was ejected for the second time in his career and his frustration is becoming more and more apparent. We talk about if all the noise off the field is affecting his play on the field. We've also noticed a lot of fans turning on Xander way too quickly. John Schreiber is seemingly running out of gas after carrying the bullpen all year and it feels like we've seen this story before. If Bogaerts hypothetically is not signed in the offseason, we talk about current options on the team that could take over at shortstop as well as what that would mean for signing free agents.
