And then he's like, yeah, you don't know anything, and I'm

like, nah oo, scary. I can't wait to watch this back with the chat, like, because we can't see the chat during the show, right, so I watch back and see what they're actually saying and then ignore what they're saying because it's all meta up exactly. show that we do here on Table Story. My own my own brain child that I've I've come up with, well, I came up with a while ago that I'm still ultra and nervous about to do every week, and it's it's literally I think it's like one of the only shows that I've ever done that I get really nervous about because it's it's so weird and meta, and I'm like, my brain might break during the show. I don't know,

I don't know. It's possible, it's possible it could happen, but luckily, I I hope it'll at least be a good, good stream if that happens. That's that's what we hope for on Twitch. If anybody has like a nervous breakdown, I feel like you do it on Twitch show, at least you get the views, you know, like it's funny out of that. The players are trapped in a virtual world. They got access to a piece of technology called the vrt rig Beta and they started up in this virtual world, new min Era of the Ninth World, where all kinds of strange things have happened. game, but Pocket obviously I'm just myself. But I'm nervous because last week I was moving and things didn't pan out exactly how I wanted and I didn't have my computer set up and time. I'm sorry. I'm happy to be back and have a place to stream from. But yeah, so I'm excited to see what happens. I'm also scared because Wat keeps smiling, and I'm not a fan of that. I mean, I'm a fan of smiling, but not his smiling. Oanks beautiful smile. I did xfoliate before the show,

So I'm I'm hoping. Yeah, uh, thank you. And obviously we have no PB tonight. We have no PB tonight, so how will that affect the group? You'll have to see. It's really interesting. But yeah, PBS, PBS away this week. She's away this week, and uh, there might be some some stuff that happens because of that. We'll see. We'll see what happens though chat. Hello, it's all right bright Hello, all right, yeah, I'm why Stephen and I will be your administrator today and I am also playing the part of Noll. The the way that the players interact with the world and make roles and stuff. If you haven't seen the show before again, you'll figure it out real quick. Anyway, is everybody ready up into the game?

I guess okay, great, last session on SIMI Lockram. And by the way, players, this is your chance now to close the chat stream. If you would like to role play along, you can. If you're gonna stay out of character in the chat, you can just put some parentheses around your text that you type in chat so that we know that you're talking out of character. On the last session of simulacrum. The group had encountered some strangeness in the woods near Caffoard, where a strange sound was blasting and also

through someone's microphone right now, what is that noise? And also was creating horrific, horrific sounds through the town of Cafoard, making the people that were around deafened by this horrible noise and causing all kinds of horrific problems in the town. However, people that were blind seemingly were able to not hear this

sound. Strangely enough, the players discovered the source a strange new min era of some kind near the town, and they went to investigate, riding on the backs of these lizard like creatures called gallon, and they came across these three sort of strange triangular metal plates in the forest that were guarded by these automatons, these spherical automatons that shot lasers and were seemingly guarding this new min

era. Pumpkinberry's character tried to disable them, and Hockett's character, along with Jay Gamerson, tried to sort of get ready to engage. When Hockett's character started to glitch and fell to the ground, eyes open, Hockett, if you could be so kind as to remove your headset eyes open. The group thought that she died, were unclear as to what happened to her. They did their best to take care of her while they fought these strange automatons known

as Gazers. And when they defeated these gazers, they managed to get into these triangular plates in the ground and they discovered some new minera. They found a device an artifact that showed them twitch Chat for a brief period of time, their only communication outside the world. They returned to the town of Caphord with Technom and Tow and they were greeted happily as the villagers finally had some peace from this horrific noise. Everyone was relieved and happy, except there was

a strange feeling that sort of rested about the players. They all kind of felt obviously down because they don't know what has happened to Pocket and her character, and they don't know what's happening to them. Still, the brief glimpse that they got into twitch chat I think set them in a bit of panic. There were a few messages that came through that I think they saw,

and it was rather unsettling perish. One of the elders of caph Forward suggested that they were able to rest there and eat and decide on their next move. All of you would have gotten some food and a place to rest. Night would have been approaching. Are you staying in the village, Yeah, yeah, tentsitively. I think we should spend at least one night. What do you do with Technom? I think I bring her after the meeting yesterday.

I think I bring her and some of the gallon and I bring them to the stables, and I would like to maybe hide her body under some of the hay and such there, because I do know that we wanted to try to keep wanted to try to keep her body away from the the NPCs because we knew that she had some sort of glitching with Null, so we were worried that she would do harm to the NPCs and we didn't want to see that. So at least I don't so I mythematic, who's playing al

Rick, I'm going to do that. I Am going to take the gallon to the stables or wherever the gallon reside, and I will maybe spend the night there and keep an eye out for and just make sure that she's safe. So she just to be clear, they would have like a bed of some kind, you know, in whatever room they put everybody in. But you're staying in the stables with her. I'm stay in the stables to make

sure nobody disrupts the body. I'm more worried about what would happen to the people interacting with her, because right now she is an anomaly that we know that is harmful, we think to the system itself, okay, And I would have let everybody know this too. Yeah, probably bring you food. At some point a few hours would have passed, and I think Phebe kind of like went off on her own. She would have said that she was going to eat and basically that she just needed to think about all of this.

And she was really upset about not thinking fast enough to speak to her husband while you guys were able to communicate with twitch chat. So she was pretty upset when she when she walked off. And uh, we can start the session with with Jay bringing the food to all Rick. So I go into the stable then, yeah, yeah, I mean I want some food. How's she doing? Uh? Yeah, I didn't realize how hungry I was she's doing fine. I mean, I mean fine is I mean it's

going fine. No one's come by. Yeah, she's still no response. Have you like messed around with anything at all? Like, have you tested the system at all? Anything? No, listen, if she's if she's actually dead, right in some way, she's that that that would be our ticket out of here. I can't I can't help but stop thinking about the fact that he was so quick to welcome us and I don't want to stay.

When we were trying to strap her body into that fucking horse thing, right, it said no, the system said no, and you did it anyways. That blew me away, like you you still tied her to that horse thing. Well, yeah, we needed to get her safely here and another way, but I don't know, man, it fell for a second. They're like, you like bled into the game, like you were let into the game. Well, I mean, what do you mean it was stopping you, right, he was trying to the roles were stopping you.

Noel was saying no. Well, Noel wasn't saying anything. And then you did it anyways as if you were just an NPC in the world, or or you had been here the whole time, you didn't, you weren't you're not bound by Roles fanling, or you just did it. So I don't know. I just can't help but think that's she somehow glitched it. Then that might be a way out. I think that. I think that's more it. I don't know if I was a part of the game or anything.

I hope not, but like, yeah, I think if if anything, and I think, yeah, if we interact with her, we pick, the game doesn't know, we interact with her, whatever we do with her, the game doesn't know. Yeah, but that's not going to change. I'm not gonna I'm not gonna use an exploit of somebody else to get out of here. I never have and I don't in any video game, nor even in this. I'm not going to do that, especially now. It's that's somebody, that's that's not just a cheat code, that is somebody.

Even if we have to survive, Like I don't want to be here forever, I don't either, but there's got to be another way out.

And I and now even just just the way it is now, I mean, even with her, like the reason why I'm here is I don't want I don't want this I don't want whatever's happening with her to interact with those who are here, though I still feel and like, yeah, everything's well voice acted here, but there was so much there was so much emotion in Harrish, Yeah, like so much emotion with the people who have taken there exactly. It's very real and like I've done voice work, and I like

I could see these kinds of things. But there is definitely there's more to it than just just lines and classic like being trained, you know, I mean, it's oh, there's more, and I don't I don't know. You I don't know. Maybe I am, maybe I am becoming a little bit more into the game. Maybe I am becoming the game, But I mean I'm not. I don't want I don't want to, like I said, I don't want to use I don't want to use. Yeah, her as a cheat code, I'm gonna like slum down against the wall probably and

just you know what I mean, I guess so. But her body is just kind of rested up against the wall nearby, eyes were closed. What do we do? You know, what do we do? What do we kind of cover the body at some point and just kind of hope she yeah, I don't know. I don't know we could. Is there somebody in town we could talk to her? Rash Irish whatever his name is, maybe, I mean he's he was? Did they say he's the elder? I think so, Yeah, like the cipher smith or something. Maybe we should

talk to him. He may not understand. For all I know, he may not even see her. It may not he just he may not comprehend it. But they would, you know, I mean if they, if they did, they would surely recognize her from before rights if they see her. Yeah, I don't even see her. Remember when I went to interact with her before Noel didn Noel couldn't finish, yeah, like short it out.

Yeah, he would short out, like he knew he had to say something, but couldn't finish it. So I wonder if they even will even see it. Yeah, as if Noel is. And when we brought up Technom as a character, it said player character you know, not right? Yes, I forgot about unknown. Thank you for the food, Oh yeah, I mean thank them our new town I guess place. I don't know

if I want to stay here. Yeah, it's fucking creepy. That's everyone's blind or Yeah, I mean, if I'm going to live in it and being in an in an venture, I'd kind of want to see this, see the countryside. I mean, it's now Manara. It's the ninth world I've been I've been studying and and and I'm always dreaming about it. And I've played three games of this, and it's like I know some of the Countryside and I'd love to see more of it. I know there's more of

it. We were supposed to have a New and Aaron show on Table Story soon and then the ship. I played it a couple times though, so I mean, like that's how I thought of the pocket portal thing with the dagger, but right, I don't know, that was pretty cool, though I was fucking sick. I mean I saw the dagger and then it disappeared and I saw it back, and you just it feels weird when I do it, but it's just like snapping. It's just you know, it's New

manera. Yeah, yeah, that is cool. I just really would you really would you sort of just be relaxing for the rest of the night, Yeah, probably just talking back and forth like that. Yeah, we're gonna switch over to Negro ORX so I have. I'm trying to say how much money I have. I'm not one hundred percent sure where it is. It's under equipment, it says shins, got it. Okay. So I'm at

the bar. I've resigned myself to the fact that we're staying here for a night, and I think, you know what, I've always been fascinated by what does alcohol taste like in video games? And so I've decided to be best friends with everyone sitting at the bar, and I buy around for everybody around me. And there's a lot of celebrating going on in the village.

In general, people are very happy, even though there's several villagers that have kind of like you know, basically blinded themselves to stop hearing these horrific sounds. There's a lot of people that have basically gotten some like oral implants to drown out the sounds and like white noise generators. But in general, there's there's like a pretty happy feeling around the town. There's a lot of like

boisterous, uh sort of sort of feelings there. So I'm just gonna slap the bar and go holdants a drink from one of the heroes that made the sound go away. In this town. I'm buying everyone. Hello, Yes, thank you. There's Hilarry. Nice to meet you. There's a female bartender at the at the at the at the bar there and she just kind of leans in and she says, it's on the house. What was your

name? My name is Gondra. Thank you Gondra. And the drinks may be on the house, but I will be tipping very nicely tonight, so keep them coming. Thank you. Hello everyone, And I'm just trying to be everyone's best friend. And I'm cheersing with anyone who will make eye contact with me, and I'm asking for the life story of anyone and everyone who's in this little uh tavern with me. Sure, please make please make a

And they've been they've been talking a lot about like, you know, the next ships that come into the port, we can start trading more frequently. Uh, this, this will completely reinvigorate the town. Just a lot of those kinds of conversations are happening right now and it goes on for a few hours. There's a lot of merriment to be had. And are you drinking the whole time? Oh yeah?

The the alcohol in general, I think it's it's like they have a lot of there's a lot of fruit and things that are harvested in the area, so there's probably a lot of wine and generally like really sweet drinks, like a lot of sweet alcohol that they have in the area. And do you have a preference? Would you go for wine or would you go for like some of the sweeter stuff if you're trying a little bit of everything. If they have any beers, I always love a really really really sour beer

or really heavy stout. Okay, I want to be best friends of the bartender, Like that's my goal for the night. Oh yeah. In general, gondra is she's also really friendly. You don't seem to have any problems interacting with anybody tonight. You have a really great time. Please make a might check difficulty for in relation to alcohol and drinking. but I think that they sort of invite you to play. There's like a you can see there's some kind of game going on at one of the tables. It's like seventy percent

of the people are dropping their dropping their mugs and stuff. People. Yeah, but like there's there's they're they're obviously playing some kind of drinking game. And some of them like invite you over and they say, come come play with us. Hero, can forward please my people? Of course? What are the rules wo I have to do? To join? All right? You need to do five spins. After you do the five spins, you need to touch the person to your left on their shoulder. If you miss

their shoulder, you have to drink and do it again. Yes, love it, love everything about it. Let's do it. Please make a difficulty for speed check in relation to alcohol or drinking. I would like to try to check on Pumpkinberry by the time that the like by the time last call is called and people are kind of starting to clear out, I'd kind of like to look around, and I noticed that Peebe isn't there, and I kind of think to myself, it's last call. I should bring a beer to a Pumpkinberry. Pumpkinberry would like a beer. I think a nightcap is a

good idea. I would like one of your finest beers. And it's time to go our tender. Who's am I forgot? Gondra? Gondra. She smiles and she says. She says, of course, and she fills one up. And I do remember, hopefully, hopefully I have my wits about me enough to remember where Peebee walked off to when she went to be by her lonesome. I'd like to bring her a beer to keep her some company and close the night out with a friend. Okay, is her door locked

Does anybody have like a towel or like a napkin or something. I'm going to try to get her off of the body snafuly, of course, not like throw her, but just like just I'm like walking over suspiciously. You start to see glitches happening guys on Technom's body. Does anyone else see that? Or did I just have like one too many beers? What did you

We were, we were, but that you you collapsed and you you were gray, like your your body was gray, void of any sort of blood or any fluid at all, and you were just kind of like this plastic looking body, definitely looking dead. And uh we we spoke with Chat through a cipher and they told us that you were dead. So I thought dead dead or like like dead dead, like, hey, oh you guys from the hospital, Pocket's dead, Like that's what we heard and like,

you guys are fine here, but your bodies are at the hospital. Uh, and pockets dead. So we I didn't know. And then like I, I went to I'd last you to the gallon when we were done. By the way we we did, there's no more sounds. You know, you could take the headphones off, but the the uh, the gallons, those lizard things. Uh, I last you to it. And when I did, Noel started talking and started glitching out, like you guys all heard that just now? Yeah? Yeah, like now okay, yeah, yeah

I could Yeah did you you you heard that just now? I mean, did you pocket? Yeah? Okay yeah. I just like I don't, I don't. I don't know. I thought maybe like you know, you know when you wake up from a dream and music was playing, and you're like, I woke up and I thought music was playing, so I was gonna. I don't think it's pulling on anymore. I just don't know. I went back in this damn game, and and then I was dead in real life. I don't know, don't. I don't really know what happened.

I don't know what's going on in real life. None of us do. But we thought anyway, I went to the last year and he started doing that glitching thing. Uh, and I did it anyway, and then we were worried that we were going to like make a rip in the world. So I just hid you here a rip in the world. You witched the game out? Yeah, NOL didn't even Well, I've always wanted to be a hacker. So you were close. Yeah close, I was. I thought if you were dead, I was like two days away from using

your body to do what to do? What you Okay, the fact that you've been spilled the drink on you is crazy. A day ago we couldn't even or earlier today we couldn't even touch you up, We couldn't touch you all what oh anytime we had to roll null fucked up and it broke the game. Yeah, so it's just for safety. I kept you here so no one else, not any of the NPCs you or interact with you,

or if we buried you at all, something maybe could have happened. So we just I don't know, we were trying to figure out what to do. So, but I'm glad you're here. this is great, okay, kind of what's happening? My heart? We didn't tell the town that you died because then I think it would be I think it definitely a bigger deal. Yeah, why didn't you tell them what was going to happen? We should have. They would have made a religion around Pocket. How cool would that be? It would be an issue for all of us because that would would probably be I don't know. I think there'd be well, there'd be like an Easter holiday for Pocket coming back,

and we'd get like chocolate, eggs and stuff. It would be great. Did they even have chocolate? I don't Anyway, that's not a point. What what are we doing now? Are we gonna go to the bar? I'll find it and maybe yeah, maybe you know, I need a drink. This is all too much. I don't I died in real life. You talked to Chat. I don't be able to talk to them since that one time. Yeah, we found out we found a cipher and we we we used it and talk to Chat cipher. Yeah, it's exactly what it

was, and maybe had it for maybe I don't know. Forty seconds or so of us looking at Chat, and this is what I'm going to say. If you were on Peebee's stream, she would have been pretty upset. She would have been crying, and she was very upset that she didn't try to talk to her husband after the chat communication happened. So she did retreat sort of back to her house that she was staying in to rest, and

she was very upset. She was crying, and it took her a while to realize or acknowledge the possibility that chat was viewers are still watching her. My guess is there's a bit of privacy that happens when people are like washing themselves or using the bathroom or anything along those lines. But you probably would still catch this kind of moment, and it was upsetting, to say the least. She kind of let down the facade and she was very upset.

You saw her go to sleep after a while. She probably took a look outside to see what was going on, saw the party and whatnot, and probably thought about it for a bit, considered going out and joy everybody, but she just decided against it and kind of went to sleep. Very early in the morning. You would have seen someone enter her room quietly, probably just before dawn. She would have woke up with a start, A sort of like gruff looking person would have been putting a hand over her mouth.

You would see a weapon, a blade of some kind, and he would be threatening her. If you make one sound, I promise you this will be the last time that you make any sound. I know who you are. worried that person could probably be who took our friend Corlai. The estate that she was in last night was a very emotional one and like I said, very tiring. And who's to say what in manipulation or what scare tactics or what could have led her to leave in such an abrupt way with just leaving us a note which would never happen. We've been traveling a while together, a long time. I just don't it's I find it hard to believe that she's safe. And we're all very worried, that's all. What exactly am

I supposed to do? You're the only one that could get to this the City of Bridges fast. I mean, if you if you were to find it in your chivalric duty or or whatever. Yeah, okay, So we should take those whenever we can, whenever we rest. Also, Myth is the

only one that did this. But uh, and and Pocket, you didn't get this because you were glitched out last week, but now you you can have it. You guys got four XP for completing that quest. Katie, you weren't. You weren't a part of it, so you didn't get the four XP. But you guys got four XP, so you can use that for advancements. Myth took the opportunity to gain another effort, which will allow him to basically try harder at something. So normally they took six away or

not, he took four away. Yeah, from persuade there. There's an advancement handout on roll twenty if you go to the handouts area below the characters, that says how you can spend your XP. Basically what happens is, at bare minimum, you need sixteen XP to get to the next tier of your character. You got four, which will buy you an advancement if you want to. You don't have to spend it. You can keep it if

you want to save it for like player intrusions or whatever. But you got four, and you can do a bunch of different things, like increasing your capabilities, which we will give you four new points to a stat pools, like, however you want to allocate those four points amongst stat pools. Or you could do moving toward perfection, which would give you one to one of your edges. You can get more effort like Myth did. You can get

some skills. There's some other options down at the bottom there, but yeah, you can look over those and decide if you want to get one of those. Otherwise everybody will gain We'll say everybody's going to gain probably two XP for today, and we'll say that Myth, you and Katie will get an additional two XP congratulations, good job. This is the only role play I do at the moment, but I've done a lot of stuff on me JP's channel in the past, so this is a really good I really like this system because it's kind of like very I don't know, I feel like it's very like US player driven, which I really enjoy I really enjoy role plays where we have to constantly just be thinking about what we're doing so and not just like, okay, you're in combat, now just think about your

attacks. Ye, not that I might, I don't mind that, but I really like just thinking constantly about my character and our actions. Yeah. It gives you a lot of options, lets you think outside the box really

easily, and I'm always a big fan of that. So it also allows us to get really sidetracked and waste a lot of time and be like, oh no, let's be honest though, that's every role playing game, right, Like how many it actually counts against you when we sit there debating, we're actually sitting there and debating versus like what role should we should we go? What role should we do? Versus here, it's like if we're doing that, it's actually our character is doing that, which makes it all night.

That's why that whole like let's go on three things. It's like, I just love the idea of all the other the townspeople being around and going what the fuck I was having to move our conversation.
