So, on the previous episode of Simulacrum, the group had all sort of come to realize that they were losing their memories and they were trying to cope with it as best they could by writing things down and taking stock of really important things going on in their lives or things that had happened to them or people that were important to them, and the the group trying to decide how they can
proceed and if they were going to try and get their friend Katie Peters plays character Jax Castler get her resurrected, or they talked about it, and I don't know if they came up with a solid answer on that as to what they were going to do. But Jay had sort of wandered off and had tried to communicate with Chad again, worrying the group to no end, especially
after all the conversation about the memory loss and everything. But he managed to communicate with Chat and there was a lot of conversation that happened in the last episode in regards to that chat situation. And I would just like to remind everybody before we do get started with the show today that chat will be sort of rpeeing along with the show, and it can get really intense in chat. There there can be situations that might make you very uncomfortable, and that's
kind of part of the experience here. It's not always super pleasant, but the atmosphere that's sort of been established with this show and get pretty emotional and heavy. And this is something that I've sort of talked with the players already
about and it's sort of cathartic for some of us in a way. And even though these things are intense, we talk about this stuff after the show and everybody, you know, I try to make sure everybody's okay after the show, and you know, make sure that nothing was too much to handle. So rest assured. Even though we had some difficult messages for some people to deal with in the last show and chat, everyone's okay. And and it was our P, you know it was. It wasn't Yeah, it
was. It was good. RP is what it is, and good RP makes you feel uncomfortable sometimes, but that's why we love it. Yeah, So, uh that being said, players, if you could close down the chat roger that and yeah, they were they were dealing with this difficult memory loss situation and they heard from uh Chat. information, almost too much information. By the way, Mods, if you're in here tonight, if we do encounter another situation where they communicate with chat again, if we could have you put the channel in slow mode, just because it was beyond overwhelming last time, and I don't think it was really I don't think it really was helpful in that case, so we'll just try and put the chat in slow mode during that time, and they got a

I think it was me because I bought him the fruit, right, I bought him the fruit and yeah, and and Technoms sorted to join in the conversation Whispering Green after you ask Nol a question seemed to
react to Nol's presence and the question she had asked. I think PB was about was about the Whispering Green. Right, you were trying to see what you remembered. Yeah, mostly because I know this is super meta, but that's why I were doing that. In this game, but I recognize her from the Best Tiary that came in the Newman era bundle. So I'm wondering how we want to do that. So the session is going to start tonight
basically right in that situation. It's a very different looking space than the city of Bridges, which kind of had like a lot of reused scrap, and it had it had that sort of docks like feeling right like. It had that the sort of serene sounds of the ocean, but you had all these large bridges and things moving about. This is
very much a bustling metropolis. There are gardens all about you. You would probably arrive right about here inside the circle there you can see these gardens and these sort of terraced walls and streams of water pouring out from the walls feeding and irrigating these gardens below that you're a part of. And this sort of
amazing looking architecture is before you. You have buildings of you know, the sort of like turquoise and golds and reds, and these very tall sort of obelisks protruding from all around, and many other airships are just kind of moving all about through the city. You see that one that kind of flew overhead, and it draws your eye to the rest that are moving about the city. I'm already like since I was the first one through, I'm just like
like just looking around everywhere. This is incredible, insane. Yeah, I've been here before, but not here here. I've played in Key before, and it has is much different now that I'm standing here. Wow, this is surreal. Yeah, terrifying. Yeah, that's like Toronto but with ships. Yeah, but with ships. Well, hopefully we don't have to be here long. beautiful. Walking inside this place is crazy. It's like the taj Mahal level of opulence in here, and there's all these tech bits and things that are moving all about. You can see what would be the equivalent of LEDs moving through this place, and little devices and things are floating around. Little bits of new min era are floating around doing different tasks, escorted by people in
various scarlet and white ensembles similar to what Korin is wearing. Kran, you know, waves to a few people as he passes, saying hello, and there's a few people that wave back and seem to recognize the Whispering Green. And they start all these conversations, and slowly but surely, there's a crowd that starts following you. I I I telepathy to Koran, and I'm like, are they going to be a problem? A problem? What do you mean? Everyone's so excited for what the Whispering Green is in the dirk Hole.
We can surely learn so much. Okay, but you're still gonna help us to be members from my order that specifically spend their lives speaking with the Whispering Green. vibe. You see people with fanciful robes and very stern looking people and very very very much people that are giving off that scholarly vibe to you. They are all sort of experimenting with different new min era in different places. There's probably sounds of some explosions and things going off in distant places of the dircle. You'll probably see little groups of people running past as well, probably trying
to put out both literal and figurative fires. Eventually, you will come to this point where there's a forum like area where there's groups of Eon priests that are having heated conversations, and the Koran will sort of take you over to one group that's having a conversation. You can see that one of the one of the people. Mm hmm, let's see if I can find that page again. I did not book mark, they're like an idiot. Each individual givot has its own complexities and it kind of resembles the different constellations in space, and you can see
that they're different than what you astronomer like people would expect. Some are the same, some are different, but they start to change and they start to look like home. You all get pushed back to the wall because of the centrifugal force, and everything outside the room blurs. You lose all sight beyond the room. And that's where we're going to end the show. a time. There was basically a time limit for how long you can keep it with us? That's a stalling null. Can I ask? Can I ask everybody a question? Yeah? How do you How do you think it ended? done in that situation? I think my character, like me as that character who forgot, like I was, I failed so horribly. I pretty much forgot my life. Yeah, and by then probably did. There were a lot of important roles that were made. I will say that Peebee's role luck for this game really changed a lot of ship, especially the end not just the end, the whole thing she's killing. Is he gonna kill me? No, you can't answer that, don't answer murdered me. I will.
I will say, well, yeah, I will say that your your cares, your roles changed. A lot of stuff changed, a lot of sad because I had that session where I failed once, but it was all combat, right, So that was well. I said before we started it that I was really not going to focus on combat. That's not what Newmanaiir is about. Newmanaire is about fo duration and discovery and not starting fights. It is, but I fun kicking ass. Yeah, yeah, Combat's really good.
Like that's also the thing about it. It's like it's great. It's so good at exploration and discovery, especially once you get skills I say destiny but the h and also like got them but the but yeah, when it comes to like combat, it's also fun to just get into combat. It's a really great system. What I was saying for my character though, is that I probably if I were fully in character in that moment, like who
I am, but did not remember where I was. I don't think there's any way I would accepted that portal as a person unless I had some inkling of who I was, and now I fear if I stepped through that portal, will I remember or will I still have amate? Yeah, and so it's like one of those who I want to go back and not for not remember anyway. So that's why it's like for my character. I was like,
this is why my character would legitimately be willing to stay behind. Yeah too, but luckily, Yeah, I'm glad you guys found me last session too.
