This week I am talking to Katherine Aguirre- my friend and former teaching partner. Katherine and I are talking about all things related to working with ELL students. Regardless of where you teach, we are all teaching students whose native language is not English. The strategies Katherine shares will be really helpful to any teacher looking to improve their way of teaching and communicating with students.
Katherine also tells us about her experience going to grad school while teaching full time. She encourages us to be lifelong learners and continuing her education through an additional degree is just one way she is continuing to learn, despite all the knowledge she has!
