World Communion Sunday reminds us that we are not just part of an amazing local faith community, but we are part of a movement that spans cultures, geography, languages, and brings people of all walks of life together through the grace of God. We worship together in deep connection to those around the world who are also worshiping as followers of Jesus.

In this sermon, Pastor Allison uses scripture from Philippians 2 to encourage us to emulate Christ in our daily lives and prioritize community over our individual ambition. Pastor Allison also stresses our need to keep focused on our faith journey amidst all of the distractions in our lives, and reminds us to be intentional in our spiritual practices to remain close to God, our neighbor, and ourselves.
