As we continue our sermon series “A Christmas Story”, Pastor Allison shares another perspective from THE Christmas story focusing on Mary’s joy. Mary greets the news of her pregnancy with joy, like so many other mothers. Yet in her declarations of rejoicing there is a deeper experience: worship of the God who chooses to arrive among us as an infant. The God that Mary names “Mighty One,” will soon be swaddled in the very arms she raises in praise. How might we find joy anew as we hear her own words of adoration?
