How does supporting others help me? | Sermon by Rev. Clayton Oliphint | October 15, 2023

We continue our sermon series today entitled “Influencers”. You are an influencer, but not in the modern-day social media sense. Christianity became a global phenomenon because of ordinary people who chose to use their power of influence as a channel of God’s grace. Together, we will read the stories of these ancient influencers, chapter by chapter, in the book of Acts and discover how God wants to use our own power of influence for Christ.

In this sermon, Pastor Clayton uses Acts 4 to highlight Barnabas’ influence to educate others and offer support and encouragement to those who need it. From this story, we learn why it is important for us to follow Barnabas’ example and be encouraging and helpful to our neighbors.
