Episode description

Modern science tells us gratitude is a practice that can rewire our brains and change our outlook on life. As people of faith, we have known for thousands of years that gratitude is essential to a life well lived. In our sermon series, “Gratitude Attitude”, we will practice gratitude while we explore three specific areas where thankfulness can change everything.

In the final sermon of this series, Pastor Clayton uses Paul’s advice to focus on what is true and honorable to serve as a reminder to prioritize positivity in our thoughts, which combats anxiety and negativity in our lives. Recognizing that our strength comes from God allows us to face life’s difficulties with confidence, affirming the notion that we are not alone in our struggles. Paul emphasizes bringing our concerns to God with thanksgiving, which fosters a deeper relationship with the divine and cultivates peace amidst chaos.
