Please join us as we continue our sermon series, “The Wonderful World of Jesus” where we will explore the biblical message of Jesus through the lens of some of the most popular animated movies of all time. We continue this series with the animated classic ‘Moana’ and we’ll take a look at some of the most important words Jesus gave to his disciples and find parallels between the stories.

In this sermon, Pastor Cheryl relates Moana discovering her true self to embracing our identity in Christ, which allows us to reflect God’s love and purpose in our lives. We are called to be instruments of healing and reconciliation, mending relationships and fostering kindness in our communities. We are able to live into this calling because God’s grace is present in our lives before we even recognize it, much like the ocean choosing Moana, reminding us of our worth and belonging in Christ.
