Episode description

“Do not let your hearts be troubled...” These words of Jesus are hard to live by when everything in life is demanding so much of us. We try to find balance in our family, friends, work, life, but it feels impossible. God desires us to have balanced, abundant lives. Each week in worship, we will explore the ways our scriptures and faith help us find balance in our time, finances, relationships, and self-care.

In this sermon, Pastor Allison addresses how important it is to find balance with our obligations and to make self-care a priority. Self-care might look different for everyone; what rejuvenates one person may not work for another. God calls us to care for our mind, body and spirit, which requires intentional self-reflection and readjustments as necessary.
